Here’s Wally!…. Again 😵 BUT THIS TIME WITH A LIL BIO:

Meet Wally Coreopsis!

A wide-eyed little fellow, Wally is always looking for a way to feed his innovative cravings through tinkering with bits and bobs. His current job as a Prismatist also feeds into this craving, as he repairs and ensures good quality prisms into the human realm. Wally also strives to improve his colour-weaving ability, hoping to use his magic to further his tinkering projects. Though happy with his life, there will never be anything big enough in the universe to feed his curiosity. It is this same curiosity that gets him stranded in the human realm after a prism-repair trip goes awry. After some time of unguided panic-flying, Wally ends up inside a human house, where he is discovered by red-head biologist, Tim Hartman. It’s up to Wally to navigate his way home, as well as his new-found friendship with the humans.

OKAY SOME QUICK EXPLAINING:

- There are 3 types of Entostellians, with Wally being what’s known as an “Aerostellian.” These types of Entostellians have silver/gold cheek marking and retractable wings!

- The Entostellian and Human realms are separate, only being connected through a main portal in a tree hidden off in the woods. After an Industrial Revolution in the Entostellian realm, Entostellians sneak into the Human realm to collect Earthly metals and use them to advance their magic/technology. That’s what the prisms (aka Entostellian built portals) are for, to get slightly easier access into human civilization.

-A “Prismatist” are the engineers/mechanics of prisms, ensuring that the quality of the prisms are safe for travel! Because prisms are artificially made by Entostellians, they are prone to wear and tear and need to be maintained regularly (that’s what Wally’s job is for!)

-Entostellians are usually born with something called “colour,” which is basically what they call their ability to use magic. “Colour weavers” are basically the witches, mages, and wizards of their world

Deanna De Riva 🗡

Compassion: 10/10 (Before the events of Veilguard, Deanna had been taught to think of others as only targets and potential clients. She barely had any compassion for others until she grew older and began to notice more of the injustices in the world outside Antiva. It wasn’t until she met Varric and saw how deeply he cared for others that she began to change. Now she will do whatever she can to help those who need it.)

Bitterness: 2/10 (The only times she ever felt bitter would’ve been towards the Crows after her dismissal, specifically Viago who she thought would've understood why she did what she did, and after Solas trapped her in the Fade Prison. Otherwise she’s not a very bitter person. She tends to believe she deserves anything bad that happens to her.)

Happiness: 8/10 (During her time as a Crow, she was very stoic, unemotional and completely serious. She would barely laugh or smile at all. But once she started travelling with Varric, she realised that she loved to laugh at his stories, that she loved puns, and telling jokes. Throughout the events of Veilguard, she was a walking ray of sunshine and always cracked jokes to cheer the others up. However after Veilguard, that sunshine starts to fade and she grows more solemn, with the weight of her grief and regrets still weighing heavy on her. But she will still smile and tell her witty jokes, to hide how she really feels.)

Chivalry: 7/10 (She'll treat everyone with respect, unless they give her reason not to. She will always do her best to remain polite and kind.)

Pride: 2/10 (She isn't a very prideful person, she has a terrible lack of self esteem and even after achieving something great, she struggles to feel proud of herself. This is all thanks to Viago who would never congratulate her on her accomplishments and would instead point out what she didn't do, what she should've done better. He only did it to push her to keep improving, because he really does believe in her, this is just his own way of encouraging her but all it did was leave Deanna doubting herself and feeling like nothing she does is ever good enough.)

Honesty: 6/10 (She is usually open and honest, except to someone she immediately doesn't trust. She would never lie maliciously but she knows the right moments to share her true thoughts and when she should keep it to herself. And when it comes to being honest about her own feelings, she will only be fully open to those who are closest to her.)

Bravery: 10/10 (She is always ready to jump into battle when she needs to, throwing caution to the wind. And she feels even more brave when she has her team at her side.)

Recklessness: 10/10 (Being a Crow taught Deanna to believe she was completely expendable, that every contract could be her last. She learned to act quickly, heading straight into combat without making any kind of plan. This leads to many moments of Deanna getting into more trouble than she intended, like her attack on the Antaam and the Siege of Weisshaupt.)

Ambition: 2/10 (She has never been very ambitious. She truly believed she would never become a famous Crow or even become a Talon. With her lack of self esteem, she always thought she was never going to be good enough to achieve greatness, even though Viago constantly pushed her to strive for it.)

Loyalty: 10/10 (Deanna is extremely loyal, to her friends, to Viago and the Crows and to the cause. She was even loyal to Solas to some extent but his betrayals made her learn not to trust so easily. But once you have her loyalty, she will always be there for you.)

Love: 10/10 (Deanna spent years of her life believing that she was not capable of loving or being loved. She thought that she could never love anyone, not even platonically. Until Varric taught her to open her heart and that it was okay to love the people in her life. She found that she did indeed love Viago, despite how infuriating he was. She loved Teia and felt a great deal of respect for her. She loved Varric for teaching her so much about life and the world. And she loved her friends in the Veilguard, each one in their own different ways. Then of course, there is Lucanis. She has never felt love for someone as much as she does for him, he made her finally believe that true love is real and that she is deserving of it.)

Sense of family: 10/10 (Having no true blood relatives of her own, Deanna always longed for family. For years, she found it in Viago, seeing him as an older brother, and Teia too, as a somewhat older sister figure. And then with Varric, she always viewed him to be like the father she never had. But then she finally found a sense of family with the Veilguard. She finally found the place where she felt like she belonged.)

Attractiveness: 10/10 (She has always received compliments and comments about her appearance from other Crows and clients. But she personally never thought much about how she looked. It was just another tool to use, helping her to lure her marks away to more secluded areas.)

Agility: 9/10 (As a Crow and a rogue, she is very agile and flexible. She is extremely light on her feet, but after being away from the rooftops of Antiva during her exile and spending more time on the ground, she finds that she's grown a little clumsy and will sometimes miss her jumps or fall off balance beams.) ((but only because of my terrible timing of her jumps alkshd sorry babygirl))

Sex drive: 8/10 (She never cared about it during her life as a Crow. She never had interested in doing it with just anyone and she was always busy with her training and her contracts. She struggled with her own deep rooted issues with being vulnerable and never allowed herself to focus on her own feelings, her job as a Crow was the most important thing. So she simply never allowed herself to grow close to anyone and for a long time she started to accept that it was something she could live without. Until she met Lucanis, and suddenly she started to develop strange feelings and began to have very suggestive and very explicit thoughts about him... especially after a certain almost-kiss. 🤭 After their first night together after Deanna was saved from the fade prison, they can't get enough of each other.)

ren wanders the city on his off days, enjoying the food and the lights and tucked-away shops. he decorates his space with trinkets he buys during his excursions, and he pins photos from his outings on his pinboard. an illusion of connection to the people around him. his mask is too strong to open up to anyone; he can't be more than the friendly doctor, or the friendly coworker, or the friendly customer.

in the end, he's left in his lonely apartment with his coffee and takeout, sitting at a table big enough for one. still stuck in the cage his parents constructed around him in childhood, perpetuated by his exhausting job run by people who shouldn't be in charge of vulnerable peoples' lives, until his emotions eventually build and explode.

as i think ive already mentioned, ive picked this story i was writing back up again and over the course of like.. 3 days i've written 6 pages which really isn't a lot for me (i think my peak was 11 pages in about an hour) but when compared to the fact that my grand total of pages from around December 30 to May 1 was zero i think this is pretty fucking good
