What is the frequency meter?
A frequency meter is an instrument that displays the frequency of a periodic electrical signal.
Various types of frequency meters are used. Many are instruments of the deflection type, ordinarily used for measuring low frequencies but capable of being used for frequencies as high as 900 Hz. 
These operate by balancing two opposing forces. Changes in the frequency to be measured cause a change in this balance that can be measured by the deflection of a pointer on a scale. Deflection-type meters are of two types, electrically resonant circuits, and ratiometers.

What is process controller?
Process control is all about using the best available control techniques for machinery and processing control. 
 Process controllers maintain the output of process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, or level within a pre-set range. They use feedback from sensors to identify any deviation from a setpoint and automatically adjust output until parameters are back within range.
Automatic process control in continuous production processes is a combination of control engineering and chemical engineering disciplines that uses industrial control systems to achieve a production level of consistency
The purpose of process control:-
To stop any unwanted variation in a production process, a control loop monitors the process regularly to check it's performing as it should. 
This is usually done by a sensor that measures a particular property like temperature. 
A transmitter converts the sensor's output into a signal which is sent to a controller.

What is Digital Conductivity meters and their application of conductivity measurement?
Digital Conductivity Meters are reliable and accurate test instruments for measurement of Conductivity of aqueous solutions. The instruments have the “Check” facility to calibrate the instrument. These instruments are ideal for monitoring salt contents in water and soluble salts in soils.
There are different application of conductivity measurement:-
Conductivity measurement is a versatile tool in process control. The measurement is simple and fast, and most advanced sensors require only a little maintenance. 
The measured conductivity reading can be used to make various assumptions on what is happening in the process. In some cases it is possible to develop a model to calculate the concentration of the liquid.
Concentration of pure liquids can be calculated when the conductivity and temperature is measured. 
The preset curves for various acids and bases are commercially available. For example, one can measure the concentration of high purity hydrofluoric acid using conductivity-based concentration measurement. 
A benefit of conductivity- and temperature-based concentration measurement is the superior speed of inline measurement compared to an on-line analyzer.
 The rugged Electro/mechanical design of the Model TDS 211 meter facilitates ease of use for both laboratory and field applications. Initially the meter was designed and developed for safety reasons to measure the electrical conductivity of hydrocarbon fuels, particularly jet fuels.
 Subsequently, the meter was modified with other conductivity ranges to accommodate measurement of a variety of fluids for use in many different applications.
