RP POSITIVITY WEEK DAY 14: TVD SQUAD APPRECIATION

these are the three people in the fandom who have been sticking with me the longest, and honestly the reasons why i’ve been here for almost two and a half years. without them, i would be truly lost. i’m gonna pour my heart out here, but this isn’t where the love ends. i’ve got something special for all of you.

@seesgood / @lockpup -- lia, thank you for being a beacon of light for not only me, but all of us in the tvd rp community. we wouldn’t have this week of spreading love and positivity without you, and it’s been wildly successful. thank you for writing things with me on both of your blogs and always being down for any idea i hit you with. i value our friendship so much, and i hope that it never fades.

@kolhearted -- ellie, you’ve literally brought me to tears before. good ones, of course, from the genuine shock i was in when you surprised me with the beautiful theme that i currently have. any time that i’ve been down and you’ve been online, you’ve somehow always managed to lift me back up, and remind me that i’m important. i love you for that.

@temperproblem -- alie, i’m so glad that we’ve managed to start talking regularly again thanks to the gv. thank you for bringing tylena to my attention and making me fall in love with it. i hope that we write plenty more things and continue to let our friendship evolve as time goes on. i love hearing all of your wild stories, and talking about life. it really makes my day.

like i could ever, on any planet, pass up and opportunity to talk about forwood. and mine and alie’s forwood. because shit you guys, forwood was my weakness in canon. and then that weakness bled to klaroline and forwood kinda went on the back burner but honestly if you ask me? tyler lockwood is always going to be the first, the greatest, and the epic love of her life. and i never really got an opportunity to write that and explore that until alie came along, like three years ago, and changed my life forever. made me fall in love with rp more than i ever thought was possible, gave me like 800 verses to obsess over and countless moments to cry over. these two make me weak at the knees. like they honestly loved one another so much, for so long, with everything they had, and then it just wasn’t enough. but he was the first guy she ever really, truly loved, and the guy that probably saved her life numerous times in numerous ways. she was so. freaking. devoted to him. and i will honestly never stop crying about the ending they got. or about the replies that alie gives me. because in case no one was aware, alie is the angst queen of angst town who loves to bring people to tears.

My Opinion on;

Character in general:  Tyler in my opinion is a very complex character. He is neither the villain nor the hero, he tends to switch the roles depending on the situation, which, is pretty realistic as no one can always be both. I don’t think he’s a necessarily bad guy as many seem to believe, I think he’s the victim of a shitty situation. Especially after the whole.. Hybrid thing.How they play them: From everything I’ve seen, absolutely spot on!The Mun: We haven’t talked very much but so far the mun seems awesome!

Do I:

prince & me - after seeing tyler at her graduation, the two decided to keep in touch - things were pretty awkward between them before -. caroline was the one that suggested they’d mainly use letters to communicate. at first, tyler rejected the idea, feeling like he needed to hear caroline’s voice instead of reading her perfect handwritting, but he ended up agreeing with it once caroline told her they could still call each other or facetime whenever they feel lonely and miss each other.

escort & heir - about a month and a half into their agreement, caroline was already bored out of her mind. she couldn’t believe she had agreed to be a freakin’ trophy wife! that was not caroline forbes, at all. so, she managed to sneak out of the house and went to the place where she used to work before tyler came into her life. obviously, the second tyler realized caroline wasn’t home, he knew where to look for. by the time he arrived, caroline was drunk and flirting with a man that seemed more interested in inspecting her cleavage than flirting back. before caroline could even acknowledge tyler’s presence, he was already pushing the man off of her, yelling at him to ‘back the hell away from her!’. tyler then proceeded to throw a drunk caroline forbes over his shoulder and march out of the establishment while she laughed and questioned ‘what the hell was that? were you jealous? tell me!!!’ until he had no choice but to put her down and shut her up with his lips.

bad at love -  the first two months after effy was born were pretty hard for caroline. she struggled a lot and asking for ty’s mom’s help was not an option since they despised each other. caroline missed her mother a lot more than usual, since she’d often find herself wondering what liz would say to her if she were there. tyler tried his best to cheer her up, saying she was doing a great job and that he was proud of her, but she’d wave him off and act like there was nothing wrong. but he knew that was a lie. because sometimes, when effy cried in the middle of the night and caroline rushed out of bed before he could even open his eyes properly, tyler would hear muffled cries coming from the nursery. only they didn’t came from the baby, they came from caroline.

and i tried to shake you but you just won’t leave me - during one of their many arguments, caroline shouted she was seeing someone and that he was way better than tyler. of course that was a lie, but he didn’t need to know about it. and of course tyler didn’t really bought it; he knew her too well. so, one night, caroline lied and said she had a date with this man she was seeing. her plan consisted on going to some random bar, getting a few drinks to pass the time until she could go home. what she didn’t expect was to see tyler walking into the bar less than ten minutes after she arrived. he had followed her because, if there really was a new guy in her life, he wanted to make sure the punk would get all handsy with his ex but who cares-wife. when he found her sitting on her own, nursing a glass of whiskey and looking rather sad, he couldn’t help but tease her. which ended up with caroline yelling at him, throwing her drink on his face and both of them getting their asses kicked out of the bar… long story short, they had sex in the backseat of tyler’s car.

BONUS BC ILY AND OUR VERSES!! port charles - their first kiss happened when caroline found out tyler had been hired by marcel to keep an eye on her. she overheard him talking to marcel on the phone, saying he’d keep a closer eye on her during the event they were both attending. caroline was so shocked that she ended up bumping into and dropping a vase, that smashed on the floor and caught tyler’s attention. she fled the event with tyler on her heel, frantically trying to explain himself, to no avail. by the time he managed to grab her hand, they were already out in the street, their clothes drenched because of the rain that was pouring down on them. caroline immediately started yelling at him, accusing him of lying to her this whole time, while she was getting more and more comfortable with him. she did all the talking, while tyler just stared at her and remained silent. when she finished her rant, she intended on getting in the first cab and going home, because there was absolutely no way she’d go back in while her clothes were completely soaked. but before caroline had the chance to hail the cab that was coming their way, tyler snaked a hand around her waist and pulled her to him, clashing their lips together and - unbeknownst to him - realizing one of caroline’s dreams: kissing in the rain.

    what i think about their url: tbh it’s one of my favorite tyler urls out there??? like. i personally think i SUCK at thinking of urls for blogs, but it’s so good???     what i think about their aesthetic: tbh i don’t even know what that means so don’t ask me that question     what i think about their theme: OKAY BUT ALIE IS SO GOOD AT THEMES OKAY i mean they look a little weird on my laptop just because i assume we have different screen resolutions or something (so there’s like a weird cutoff at the edge of the image before it’s just a solid color) but IT STILL LOOKS SO GOOD AND I LOVE IT     what i think about their organization: i mean i’m always really bad at judging other people’s stuff on that like??? no matter who it is, as long as there’s a navigation somewhere for me to go through, i’m just like “yeah it’s organized” so don’t ask me that     what i think about their tags // tagging system: i mean??? same as above kinda
