Flashback to my last visit to @shyboytexrepairs and this nifty @texamps 5 watt model. I’d love to add a #TexAmp to my collection someday, and this #5watt model would be just about right for me (from a plate dissipation perspective!)...unless Tex could somehow make me a 2 watt version. Hint hint. 😆 I’m also proud to say that #TexAmps are made right here in good ol’ #Toronto, Canada. As you have probably guessed the Tex in Tex amps is the same Tex that makes up half of @shyboytexrepairs (whoa...never thought I’d say “Tex” so many times in one sentence!). These guys have done repair, service, and setup work on the #guitars and #amps of top musicians such as Daniel Lanois and Geddy Lee. Tex amps themselves are used by some incredible players including Mr Lanois himself, Bob Rock, Bryan Adams, Jimmy Shaw, Kathleen Edwards, Greg Keelor, Jim Cuddy, Colin Cripps, and Jeff Tweedy.
