can I perhaps know which little seeker wanted the blanket. And maybe can we have a picture of them with their new blankie? I hope they are enjoying it.

This is Bitstream. He’s one of Kup’s many kids. We couldn’t get a picture of him with his blanket but we have this picture we took when we were trying to get him ready for wing repairs.

Poor kid was a child soldier and he’s so jumpy with everything around him, he’s only 17 he shouldn’t have had to go through so much pain.

Everyone's going to have their *own* headcanons, but some of mine for Seeker Trines is:

-some kind of trinary units can exist

-Starscream with Skywarp and Thundercracker is classic and I keep them together. All three of them *think* that they are the one protecting the other two who they believe are so much more challenged in some ways. They fight sometimes. They have different kinds of intelligence. Starscream actually knows about chemistry and some amount of cybertronian anatomy and engineering. Skywarp is weirdly good with maths and physics, but don't ask him to explain it. Thundercracker knows about media and literature and writing (sorta). All three are very good fliers and skilled with Aerial combat. Thundercacker has most powerful acceleration and is very stable in formations. Starscream has fastest top speed and is very agile. Skywarp is pretty fast, but also can cheat with teleportation.

-I really like the idea that Slipstream, Hotlink, and Bitstream are together. Their particular purple and teal decos are her purple and teal deco colors. It's probably mostly platonic, maybe? They specialize in infiltration and espionage type missions where Slipstream is evasive and can get in and out of places, Hotlink can get through physical security measures, and Bitstream can hack data systems. Slipstream is *just* about as good as Starscream in flying, but maybe not so outright fast, while better at understanding fluid dynamics and how slipstreaming works. In formation, Hotlink and Bitstream follow her command, though this might sometimes have Hotlink in the lead position of a formation. Slipstream just trails behind like that.

-House of Storm consists of Cid, Nova, and Ion. They are romantically involved. Their thing is "bringing the rain" in the literal sense. Ion is a fulminologist and possibly outlier who can manipulate lightning and create EMPs. Acid Storm knows how to seed clouds for various effects. Nova has special shielding in her plating which both protects from corrosion and EMPs. Acid Storm also is the Seeker's Data Marshal and like a clearing house for their intelligence, which Slipstream's team often contributes to, and Starscream's team often receives.

-I put Red Wing with Ramjet and Thrust, in place of Dirge, even though this isn't remotely canon. I just like the idea that Ramjet is in some ways vying for leadership within the faction or within Air Command and Thrust is comfortable in a lackey/wingmate/advisor role, but Dirge doesn't want to be third there, so they get Red Wing as their 'rookie' to do intern work. And she does it, because she believes in Ramjet (even if he literally tells lies). Their team probably gets missions where there's an element of defense or destruction, or ambush. Like, they transport a macguffin, or they burst through the walls of a power plant, or they drop out of the sky to attack an Autobot position. Ramjet's nigh indestructible and Thrust has vertical maneuverability, and even if Red Wing is just there competently following orders and being a bit cocky about being in one of the top four trines, they are still getting the work done.

-This means Dirge gets his own team, most likely. And it's got to be the direst. I give him maybe Blast ("Black Thrust") and semi-OC Undead Sparkless Seeker here named Deadwing who maybe is alive sometimes. No one knows if any of these three is alive. Bots have sworn they've seen Dirge die multiple times. But, somehow, Dirge will show up with these dark and infected looking Seekers on his wings. This team is not afraid to be heavies. Other bots fear them. Dirge literally can induce fear with his engines. So, they get called to go intimidate or just straight up murder a bot.

Who else?

-Sunstorm. Is his own special thing. I like to sometimes have a plot that involves Sunstorm and Stunblaze, but Stunblaze is not canonically confirmed to be a Seeker, just one of The Disappeared. Blazewake is another, possibly younger, Seeker (some of these are from TFRPG source books) who maybe could support Sunstorm and/or Stunblaze if needed. He seems to have a more silvery deco, but with red and gold wingstripes. I could see Sunstorm having a couple of, like, handmaid or acolyte Seekers in Stunblaze and Blazewake.

-Blackout (Seeker, not copter), Sandstorm (Seeker, not triple-changer), and Cloud Cover are probably Seekers who got stationed on Velocitron, where there's extreme conditions of the day side and night side of the planet, where one specialized in day missions surviving and camouflaged for the super hot desert there and the other handled night missions, and Cloud Cover supplied cover for the other two. Unknown if they survive after the Age of Rust, but probably they do, given they could fly away. Like, if they could reach space.

-Contrail is a Seeker politician and/or well-organized criminal depending how you view him. I don't think he has permanent trinies, but probably draws another team for protection duty.

-Shadowcaster is possibly a seeker who potentially had some dark wizardry or casting of shadows ability but also suffered with Gold Plastic Syndrome.

-Wingstun and Space Case are sometimes Seekers and probably a couple.

-Nacelle has a Seeker sister with a burgundy deco, maybe her name is Soro*. They probably get to Earth and infiltrate the US Navy and get involved in the plot of Battleship somehow. Nacelle really likes Rihanna songs. Conversely, we can imagine that "real Nacelle" is a fighter jet actor who portrays fighter jets in Earth action movies, and played the part of various jets in several Bay movies where he had stunt scenes with "Starscream".

-Avia is another Seeker who maybe gets to Earth and infiltrates a military but she does it in France. Maybe at some point in history she and Thundercracker performed aerobatic (is this the term?) stunts together.

Who else?

depending on how one codifies Seekers and how much it means they had Starscream's frame-type once or not, or the body type of another confirmed Seeker, then

-Leozack and Lyzack might be Seekers, if not also some other part of their team.

-Wheezing Arrow who may or may not be teal but probably has the conical headwear.

-Blitzkreig, a non-binary Seeker who is fast and rough and armed with a rifle.

-Chemtrail (she) was another (TFRPG) Seeker possibly with a red deco. (Not to be confused with Red Wing, who does have some red in their deco (with black and white), who in some continuities is she, rather than he in other continuities.)

-Windblade, Maxima, Stiletto, and Airazor might all be Seekers, or at least have once been, based on frame-types similar to Slipstream.

-Aerialbots, in some continuities, were once Seekers.

-Some Cyberjets share some frame-types with some Seekers, so character's like Skyfire (purple and gray, not SG), Windsheer, and Delta Seeker might be Seekers.

-Dreadwind and Darkwing | Darkwind | Blackwing might be Seekers who also can combine with each other to form Dreadwing.

-Jetfire and Jetstorm in one universe had Seeker coding.

-Jhiaxus sometimes shares a frame-type with Starscream.

*"Nacelle's Sister" was a character Andrew Sorohan depicted in 4 Million Years comic, but based on a background Seeker from The Transformers.

thinking of writing all my stupid little headcanons about seeker trines. Yes they’re made up and yes they’re fandom exclusive but I love every headcanon I’ve ever seen people write about them. The Elite Trine being brothers? Sure. Stamped. The Elite Trine being lovers instead? Stamped twice. The Elite Trine only meeting each other after the war already started, in Megatron’s army? Stamped even more. Them growing up together. Another stamp in fresh ink.

There is so MUCH headcanon in the transformers fandom I love it. Give me all your thoughts about the stupid flying blorbos. Tell me abt your thoughts on the aerial bots. MORE I NEED MORE

maybe it’s just because I have seeker trine ocs, but I love them. I want to know everything about everyone’s thoughts right NEOW.

experiencing seeker brainrot right now

I don’t know if the Sunstorm, Hotlink, and Bitstream team has a name so imma just coin Eclipse Trine as their group name— because Sunstorm is, of course, the Sun, Hotlink is the moon, and Bitstream can be the sky :) I think it’s cute but I dunno if that’s already a thing.

anyway, Bitstream and Hotlink are epic fortnite gamers after work hours and like to bully humans in voicechat, while Sunstorm sits behind them and reads a fancy-schmancy book and lightly commentates on what’s happening in the game. Sunstorm has nerdy little boyfriends and he’s just fine with that. He’ll make sure Hotlink doesn’t burn himself to death (again) and that Bitstream gets his daily rations (and touches fucking grass)

In universe with the tfs on sm a whole bunch of the autobots are explaining it, with pix and everything and more than 2/3 of those pix are being supplied by op’s account.

bc op is only getting involved with this discussion bc it means he has a chance to show off baby pix of Bluestreak, his beloved godso- *cough cough* his best sniper, and Hot Rod, his so- *cough cough* sorry, one of the more remarkable litt- young warriors in training, under his fantastic wif- *COUGH COUGH* so sorry, must be catching a cold, his top general/other second in command. Op is just posting a lot of baby pictures. If you’re paying enough attention, you’ll notice how he occasionally drops his own baby pictures.

For the most part, the Decepticons are just watching. But Star and Sound pick up on Op dropping every single baby pic he has available for ‘education sake’, so they start doing it too - so suddenly Starscream and Soundwave are dropping every single baby picture they have of the seekerlings (Bitstream, Hotlink, Nacelle, and Sunstorm - Star retrieved them from the ruins of Vos, and pretty much raised them from then on.)/cassetticons (they were kindled from his own spark) respectively. They’re embarrassed by it. Eventually Megatron gets involved and drops a few baby pix of the Stunticons being developed by Vector Sigma (bc it actually took a lot longer than a couple seconds). They’re even more embarrassed.

Just the proud parents taking the chance to drop every single baby pic of their sweet little ones that they can.

I still love the idea of young sparklings looking incredibly weird by human standards

And I say this for "transformers snooping in the human Transformers fandom" reasons where someone posts an obviously AI picture saying it's a baby autobot and someone's in the comments like "Press X to doubt on this one, it's FAR too cute to be an actual sparkling." and it turns into a whole informative thread with some very, very unusual robot baby pictures
