I learned that Fire Alpaca has an animation option, so I could actually see it moving while editing instead of just guessing in Medibang. So have had it adjusted to make it less snappy as originally intended.

top tip for new gif people because i've seen a few recently (which is really cool) - tumblr will compress your gif to a width of 540px when you upload it. this compression won't retain as much quality as if you just resize it to 540px across in photoshop/whatever program you use. tumblr will suck the life out of your beautiful crisp 1080px gif whereas photoshop will do its best not to (resizing in vapoursynth or similar is ideal but that's not necessary and often too much effort for adults with real lives)

Their parents were neighbors, and after one meeting, they became inseparable ever since! The two's favorite memories are whenever they would play 'Rescue Rover' with Roger's dog, doing a series of puzzles, and rescuing the dog from 'evil robots'. However, they became distant due to the workload in high school for grades and preparing for their future after high school. Despite this, they still kept in touch and checked on each other despite life trying to keep them busy.

I probably shouldn't be allowed to talk about computers while zonked on progesterone but I've genuinely really struggled to like KDE plasma. the idea behind it is cool and design wise i should like it, but it's always just been a bit too weird for me.

yes it's customisable but there's just so many little things that frustrate me about it, like the faint grey outline symbolising a minimised program instead of something more visible, or the program icon showing up next to the cursor when launching something. combined with all the packaged software (that yes you can go without but most people don't) that starts with a K and isn't just called like "terminal" or "settings" and stuff makes for a bit of an overwhelming experience.

i do genuinely understand why people like it, and I'm certainly biased with my daily use of cinnamon. but it's sort of just an overwhelming and kind of frustrating experience that feels like it's trying to do too much and have their own version of every program they could and it's all just a bit too much sharp angles and blue for my liking. even though the full oxygen theme rules so hard.

it's kinda sad that it's trickier to get cinnamon looking good on non mint distros (tho probably not that hard i might just be bad at computers) because thats the main reason I've actually used KDE. this is all an issue of personal taste, but i think for me the issue is the design language *is* very consistent and I think it's a bad looking design language (despite it obviously being sleek and what a lot of people really like)

i do find it a little funny when i see people complain about how vocal synth characters are on all kinds of software other than just vocaloid nowadays. i understand it can be confusing to keep track of especially if you're not really interested in the software side of things - but you can download and use zundamon across like ten million different programs right this moment and for me i cant think of that as any other way than absolutely awesome
