i decided, hey, with the state of the world and my life, the weather, and the fact i want to get deeper into the punk scene around me, im going to make a battle jacket.

its just a rough outline, i have a lot more patches i am going to make.

yes those are spikes made out of felt fabric.

i dont have anything to make spikes out of, the means to buy spikes, and i’ve heard that some places aren’t allowed spikes in venues.

so i decided to make them out of felt and make them remove able so i can replace them with actual spikes in the future (velcro my beloved).

im finding it super fun to be using things i already have or stuff i got second hand to make something im going to me wearing for a long time and something that will last me a long time.

I don’t remember where this quote was from but there’s a line that goes “I was looking through rose colored glasses for so long, the red flags just looked like the way to go.” And I think that embodies Curly’s view point in life and specifically about Jimmy a lot. Not to mentions a world where he actually makes it out of the Tulpar.

Shout out to one of my favorite Roach AUs that I'm fairly certain I never told anyone about but did start to write (damn you writers block).

Basically breaks down like this:

- Roach is a Russian spy/assassin for Makarov who infiltrates early military squad with Ghost in it. Roach is good at his job and he knows the consequences of making even a slight mistake. He won't make a mistake.

- While undercover he actually starts bonding with the team, specifically Ghost. Ghost kinda takes him under his wing because he believes he is new to the military and just got stuck with this detail because of his natural skills as a sharpshooter

- long story short they in love

- then comes the day, Mak demands that Roach betrays the team and comes back to Russia, he has all the information he needed

- boom everything Ghost knew about the love of his life is turned upside down. He didn't actually know Roach at all. Most of his team is dead. Roach shot him (or so he thinks)

- years later after the 141 hears Makarov is back, Soap questions Ghost about what he meant when he said "the people you know can hurt you the most"

- Roach is back. Makarov wants the 141 dead, his first task for Roach when the two are snatched from prison

- oops, Roach can't do it. Just like he couldn't do it all those years ago

Yeah so thats that, basically you get the gist

back when granite just came out, it showed up on my youtube recommended. i started to listen to granite and all of their top songs at the time. then i watched a video of them preforming ‘like that’ live at blueridge rock fest from 2022. it just started to spiral into a crazy big mess of me listening to their earlier songs (i do this with all musicians i listen to) and consuming a lot of content and their music. maybe 3 months(idk the exact date) in i finally started to see fan made content and started to post about them on here and stuff.

sleep token really helped me through a lot. the changes of moving and leaving my new friends behind after basically just meeting them. sleepless nights being filled with vessels vocals and ii’s drumming. their music helping me make my art better.
