I wish Theodor Strom's masterpiece Der Schimmelreiter (1888) got more love on this site. I mean, not to reduce a multifaceted work of literature to an FMA-Style recipe but the protagonist is autistic and loves big strong dykes and surely there is at least a little crossover appeal?
