Astrological Fame indicators per Hellenistic astrology ⭐️🎬

Now before we even get into this let’s make some things very clear; fame can mean a range of things, it can mean going viral, it can mean being a best selling author, it can mean being on tv, on the news or even being a model and singer, the representative of a public and very successful company, and some people get famous for all the wrong reasons like hitler or Donald trump, theres nuance to these things so let’s get into it ‼️

1. Chart ruler in the 5th house. This is the first thing that came to my mind instantly which I think is a pretty desirable kind of fame that every normal person kinda soughts after. this configuration is like getting famous for being pretty or having a nice style, being talented, being an inventor, a discover of something or even being a content creator especially since this house literally has significations with creation. The 5th house in Hellenistic is the closest thing to fame and riches because rich people live a very good quality of life. This house will increase the quality of a persons life and any planet here especially the chart ruler or the ruler of the LOF may indicate that. The chart ruler here is generally gonna indicate that a person will be very celebrated by people at some point in their life. I feel like i have to keep repeating to people that this house literally has a relationship with VENUS and Venus kinda just gets whatever she wants

2. A luminary or sect of light within an angular house. The luminaries are the sun and the moon, they both illuminate light and are generally the first things that draw our attention in the sky. The sun sends light to our planet and the moon reflects that light to use when the sun sets and when there’s light upon you, you become easier to see within the landscape that you are in. Generally speaking tho, the luminaries on the angles (houses 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) are gonna describe someone that is popular and who’s name gets around easily. This is one of those things that can mean a range of things like I mentioned above; being in the news, being a city’s official, a representative for a state, your business being featured in a magazine or more exciting things

3. North node in the 5th house. Now I’ve talked about the north node maybe once or twice and each time I did I explained how the north kinda massively increases things wherever it’s at in your chart for better or for worse depending on the house it’s in and this isn’t necessarily something that you have control over either. The north node here can generally describe all the things I mentioned about the 5th house above being massively increased for you when that karma gets activated at some point in your life.

4. North node conjunct the sun. Now I don’t need to do much elaborating about this if you read anything in #2 or #3. The north node increases things massively and some Hellenistic significations of the sun are as followed; being king, being in charge, being recognized for achievement, being the boss, having all the attention on you etc

5. Your 10th house being the 11th place from the lot of fortune. Calculate your LOT of fortune and what house its in, use your lot of fortune as the ascendant and count 11 houses from there, if the house you land on after counting 11 is your 10th house when you count using your original ascendant, that implies some level of fame. The 11th house from the lot of fortune is where a person will find honor and achievement

6. Lof of fortune in the 10th house. The lot of fortune for lack of better words can describe the cards a person is dealt in life and those cards can be good or bad ones. Generally speaking is gonna describe fated encounters in your career

7. ruler of the LOF in the 10th house or planet that rules the LOF conjunct the 10th house ruler (see #6)

8. LOF in the 5th house or 11th house or conjunct either of the benefics. (See#6)

Just a disclaimer that not everyone will get famous for their desired reasons or even famous at all, not everyone’s dreams or goals get realized or see fruition, and not everyone gets successful or popular. If you become popular though it won’t be because you are begging for it, so don’t beg for it if you have either of these placements. You should be recognized for your own abilities without having to strive for popularity, so instead focus on honing your abilities and stop caring about the outcome, chasing people’s attention isn’t sustainable. Don’t overthink it, just do ‼️

Lil rant abt Caine

Caine is just a lil guy, despite it all. From a design standpoint I thought I was gonna absolutely fucking hate looking at him because those chattering teeth toys make my skin crawl- but the art direction really helps make him look more appealing and whimsical than a disembodied pair of talking dentures sounds on paper.

The thing with Caine is I didn't initially like him that much after the pilot. While his interactions with Bubble were quite funny, that one episode left me feeling like he'd just end up being kinda one note or at the very least one note in a way that'd get on my nerves. Then everything changed when Pomni Wake Up Time to Go On an Adventure! attacked

The comedic timing throughout that announcement video was so fucking funny and thanks to his line deliveries and animation/model [?] upgrades- CAINE LOOKED AND SOUNDED SO ADORABLE!!

Legit it wasn't until this came out that I realized I actually could be on board with Caine as a character and it's been uphill from there. Episode 2 was better than the pilot not only comedically and visually but also in terms of showcasing just how actually unsettling Caine can be as an antagonist. Not because he's vengeful or malicious, but because he's so oblivious to how people work. His mind's always buzzing with terrible ideas and he's so so eager about these adventures, but at the end of the day he really really doesn't get the circus crew. Try as he might to include them, keep them engaged [ZOOBLE WAIT!], or even give them what they want [Exit doors] he doesn't realize how traumatic and distressing their current situation can be. The very nature of being trapped in a digital world is bad enough but it's especially rough here bc not only does its god have limited capabilities, you also are very well acquainted with him, and he can't fully understand your pain nor can he truly save you from it. He won't mourn your abstraction. He will not attend your funeral. He will not understand the distress of your arrival, nor the weight of your departure.

This isn't just sad from the pov of the circus gang, it's also very sad for Caine- not because i think he'll ever feel sad about it himself necessarily, but instead because the situation is sad. New members appear over and over, you craft adventures and games and distractions like [i'm assuming] they'd asked you to, but over and over, one by one, they abstract. They stop laughing at your jokes. They don't like you. They want you to leave them alone. It's confusing and maybe even inconvenient.

Where I'm hoping the series takes Caine is that this dissonance between Caine's intentions and the distress of the circus gang gets worse and worse and worse until something's got to give. I'm hoping that maybe at some point a character will try to sit down and talk with him and for it to either sorta get through to him but completely backfire in some form because he misinterprets what the others want from him OR i'd also be down for him to listen, but not understand any of it and proceed as tho nothing happened. I don't want Caine to come around really, it'd be interesting to see how Goose would go about having him come around to being a better host that empathizes more with humans, but personally I do prefer him to keep on keepin' on being this oblivious and eager antagonist.

My favorite Caine lines/line deliveries so far:

"You, my friend, stumbled into an incredible world of wonders, where anything can happen!…e-except for swearing."

"And here we have THE GROUNDS! Drown yourself in the digital lake, or engage in ridery at the digital carnival!"

"What do you think of XDDCC? You're right, terrible, LET'S TRY THAT AGAIN!"

"Kaufmo abstracted? Why didn't anybody tell me?"

"Bubble you can't say that"

"-ZOOBLE WAIT!"

"Why are you all just standing there?! The- The Canyon- C-Candy Canyon Kingdom needs you now!" [according to his VA, this was an actual line flub but hoo boy am i glad they use it bc it's hilarious]

"I know you guys love your NPCs, but if I start losing track of who's a human and who's an NPC, who knows...what. could. happen..."

That last line there specifically surprised me the most because up until he said that I was under the impression Caine was linked to every single NPC. I even thought he could see through their eyes if he so chose thanks to his "hundreds of all seeing eyes" line in the pilot. Him saying this here implies lots of things. Has Caine forgotten before? Is someone in the circus secretly an NPC ooooooooh~

"Who knows what could happen..."

Honestly, when Caine first said this I did immediately theorize Jax as being an NPC but now that it's been *checks calendar* three months since I watched episode 2, I don't think this is the case anymore. Jax being an NPC would be...something. Jax not knowing he's an NPC would be interesting [i like it when ppl's realities get shattered], but honestly I think this line was a way to telegraph to the audience that no Caine isn't actually all knowing. He didn't know Gummigoo was coming through that portal until he saw him with his own two eyes. My theory is that Caine is only able to teleport, create, censor, transform, and destroy the world around him, but isn't able to see all of it at once unless he tries to. I think Caine's default state is one where he only knows what he sees directly in front of him/what he himself has left waiting for someone else. And rather than implying someone in the gang is an NPC, I think that line in episode 2 was mainly implying Caine can be tricked, that it's possible to hide something from him, to surprise him even. Though I'm not opposed to an NPC we haven't met trying to join under the guise of being human, it'd potentially create some fun tension assuming the audience was given enough reason to care about them.

Jax is actually my favorite character in tadc, but i couldn't fill an entire post with things to say abt him. Caine seems to be- at least as of right now- the easiest of all the characters to try and wrap my head around. I'll probably have a lot more to say about Jax as he exists in canon as the episodes come out [EPISODE 6 MY BELOVED]

A very extensive list of replika headcanons because I'm sick and tired of laying in bed doing nothing

Elster

-It's not that they love being solitary as much as being very awkward interacting with others, and their serious faces doesn't make them any more approachable...

-They deal with loneliness with always keeping themselves busy and making routines packed to the top with things to do.

-In that sense, Elster genuinely enjoys tasks that require some level of problem solving.

-They have a deep, hoarse voice. That being said, they don't really talk much.

-In her relationship with Ariane, she was the "acts of service" person. Even as Ariane sickness progressed, she tried to bring her comfort as much as she could.

Eule -They're very flexible

-They hum a lot while doing chores, and can come up with song lyrics on the get go.

-One of the reasons why replikas have short hair is because otherwise Eules would get distracted easily braiding and styling it

-At times they can be kinda harsh with themselves. They strive for perfection (their gestalt was an overachiever)

-The walk like models/swing their hips a lot

Kolibri -They function on 70% caffeine

-They're REALLY GOOD at reading other's body language, so sometimes they don't need to rely on their bioresonance to tell what others are thinking.

-They have inside jokes and memes that they share to each other via their hivemind.

-They walk very fast to catch up with other replikas

-In the same way that they easily influence other replikas, they can also get affected by strong emotions of those around them. So sometimes they hang out with Mynahs to emotionally recharge with their chill vibes.

Mynah

-Beo is the oldest/most experienced of the Mynah units, and the leader of the cadre at S-23.

-Their gestalt was a mother that worked as a coal miner in Rotfront.

-The circle in the middle of their visor is dark glass, and the red dots are lights

-They're very aware of their size and strength, which is what makes them to be extra careful and gentle with smaller units and gestalts

-They walk with short steps

-Due to their heavy frame, they're anatomically different to other replika. They don't get damaged easily, but they're trickier to repair. That's why once Elster found Beo in the mines, she couldn't repair her with the patches .

-Sometimes they name their plushies after their favorite replikas/gestalts

-the plushies are for filling the void left by their gestalts love for cats.

-it's not necessarily that they don't get affected by the circumstances surrounding them, it's just that they don't like to think on the bigger implications or they just don't internalize it (Aka "don't think too hard about it").

Ara

-They can see in the dark (in a similar way to cats).

-The tunnels they make are extremely narrow. Many replikas and gestalts have gotten stuck before, which is why it isn't recommended to retrieve them.

-Sometimes the do listen to other's conversations, but not necessarily out of bad intent as much as boredom/background noise as they do other activities (the equivalent of watching a YouTube essay as you eat).

-They're in the realistic/cynical side of things, tho they usually mean well. They're big shy introverts, but eventually they get adopted by the Eules into their social circles.

-They love Legos/scale models, and sometimes they like to design their own buildings.

Star

-Modded guns are the ultimate sign of a high ranking unit. They can get favors out of lower ranking unit by offering to lend them.

-They get kinda overprotective with those they care about

-They walk as is they were marching, but more casual

-They a high ranking unit gets decommissioned, their belongings get passed on according to their order on the hierarchy

Storch

-They're the first ones to wake up so they have all the baths for them. They love the feeling of running water.

-They use lots of mythology analogies when talking. Almost nobody else gets it.

-In a modern setting, they would be the ones to consume media inspired by mythology, only to nitpick on every single detail that isn't accurate.

-They always walk like they're in a hurry/angrily on their way to beat someone (very fast, really big steps)

-They have a naturally loud voice and a resting bitch face, which makes them more intimidating even when they're just chilling.

Adler

-He always looks serious, and takes himself very seriously.

-He knows that big part of the facility dislikes him, but as long as they comply to orders he doesn't really mind.

-His favorite types of fetish objects are puzzles/things that carry a mystery to them, or stationary.

-He writes a lot, for everything and nothing.

-The only reason you should have two Adlers working together is if a facility is really big, and keep them as separate as possible. Otherwise you have these two replikas passively getting at each other's throats.

-The attachment Adlers have with Falkes doesn't necessarily have to be romantic. They could also the sibling, friend or mentor figures (the emotional dependency is still there tho, and relies a lot on her attention and approval).

-In that same sense, they get attached to one particular Falke, so if a Falke needs to get decommissioned, so does her Adler because if not, the man grieves and shit starts going down.

Falke

- At first sight she seems like a regular polite unit, but she carries a menacing/lowkey eldritch aura. Whatever Makima and Tomie have going on, but not necessarily evil.

-She is great with words, and has good leadership skills.

-Her halo and arrows are made out of pure light.

-She knows everything that goes down on the facility, but turns a blind eye unless things starts to cause trouble or get on the way of productivity.

-She uses her bioresonance for mundane activities, both for pure convenience and as a flex/display of dominance.

-Since they're bioresonant prototypes, they get persona degradation very easily, but since their triggers aren't really known, they're really good at hiding it/whipping the memories of those that realize it.

-I like to think that her gestalt (the daughter of the Great Revolutionary) didn't really have a say regarding her situation, as much as being the main propaganda piece for the Eusan Nation. As such, while being a good leader, she gets anxious because it's not only those directly under her command who get affected if the makes a mistake, but the image of the Nation as a whole. However she's good at not showing weakness, at that trait gets inherited to Falke units as well.

ok so first of all, where i live, architecture school is 5 years + 2 years of internship = min of 7 years, then licensure exam. that is a VERY, VERY and i repeat VERY long time. and thats only undergrad.

architecture is a creative program, meaning u dont necessarily "study" to get by. there are a lot of theoretical courses ofc, and technically, u still need to study (and read a TON of books to know about design principles and standards and laws) but application takes up 90% of it. in archi school, u need not only to be creative, but u have to be strategic, technical, and be purposeful in everything u do bcs its a fusion of science+arts after all (im not kidding. instructors would cook u to hell when ur design is "perfectly technical" but NOT creative, but they will also stone you if it's "too pretty" but u cant provide a clear cut answer to a certain something's mechanism).

now heres the biggest con to me: in order to survive it you will genuinely have to give up a lot of time. deadlines are given to u upon deadlines. ur only lucky enough if ur prof is one of those angels from heavens above whos considerate enough, but theyre very rare (per my experience). drawing = solving problems, and in this program you NEVER stop solving problems. its very draining tbh, bcs every week is a 7-day stay in the deepest pits of hell of ✨conceptualization✨ . i know no one, and i mean no one in my program who has a regular sleeping schedule, and even the most excellent time manager will sacrifice sleep in deadline week (which is every week 🤩) you will get to miss out on hangs with friends, family vacays and the likes bcs submissions just wouldnt stop. also, college is the reason why i started drinking coffee and energy drink. its unhealthy asf but i gen cant function without it now when i have my exams season. i also discovered i can go on full 48 hrs without a wink of sleep which is. AGAIN. unhealthy as fawk. , you will really have to toughen up your heart bcs the profs will always be honest and wouldnt hesitate to tell u to revise your work, no matter how much u think it's ok enough. they will keep telling u to revise until theyre satisfied lol.

another con is that its expensive as HELL. im very lucky im getting by on scholarships and i get allowances from them BUT i literally cannot imagine spending my familys money on all the things ive lent to this program 😭 when ur in first year u will still have to go manual so if u do not have the art supplies necessary, you'll have to buy them and again. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AS HELL. and it doesnt end there bcs scale modeling goes on forever and its no joke. the materials are hard to fine (at least here) and their prices are ridiculous. then during higher years, you'll have to invest in a high-spec laptop (like gaming laptops) that will not give up on u under heavy use nvs ull be using a lot of software (that ur prods dont even teach you to work with 🤩 theyll jsut drop an instruction saying do this project in archicad and boom ur deep on 456 youtube tutorials which makes u question their existence in the first place but ANYWAY.

on the brightside tho.... its very very fulfilling, this major. architecture plays such an important role in our daily lives and it would feel really rad if we can be a part of that #beautiful thing. seeing the end of every project also pays back by teaching u handful of things. i also enjoy it when we get the chance to explore different building types like for instance my fave project i ever did was when we designed a physical rehabilitation center. ive never been in one before that but we got to explore it thanks to the project. also, you get to know people bcs u have and u WILL want to cater to their needs and wants – and as a girlie who wished she majored in psych thats the thing i love the most about architecture!!! it all boils down to people, how they move within and around space, and how u can help shape a beautiful & nice experience for them. its just a very very very interesting field

thing is, u need to be really dedicated if u want to go to archi school and survive. u have to be passionate abt it to push thru. if ur not really that sure abt it, i advice going against it lol. its just not worth it if its not smth u actually and really want (take that from me plsssjbsjxhsjwh). but if u really want to, then go! but just be really careful with that decision anon :')

Collection of observations so far on Pokémon Legends: Z-A

It'd be reasonable to assume that PLZA is going to be based around the same time period as Haussmann's renovation of Paris, a major public works initiative focused on city modernization (by the day's standards). This included taking down a lot of medieval neighborhoods and replacing them with avenues, squares, and parks, as well as installing extensive water-based features such as sewers, aqueducts, and (of course) fountains. Haussmann was eventually dismissed bc he was being way too extravagant with spending (along with other political stuff etc etc), but the modern-day layout of central Paris still directly echoes his designs.

The renovation period lasted from 1853-1870, which would put PLZA in roughly the same timeframe as PLA; the Meiji Restoration (also called the Meiji Renovation, ironically) began in 1868.

However, the aesthetics they've chosen for the announcement trailer are giving me pause. Though the drafting/sketching portion certainly has an old-timey feel to it, the use of a holographic, wireframe style to show the city feels markedly futuristic. In addition, one of the humans we see (the woman sitting at a table next to a Klefki) appears to be using a smartphone. Whether or not we're gonna have another Arc Phone situation has yet to be seen.

This could just be a way of expressing "here's what Lumiose is PLANNED to look like far in the future, and this game is going to be focused on building towards that future." As there was a "Not actual gameplay footage" disclaimer at the beginning there, we can assume that nothing shown in the trailer is necessarily going to appear in-game – tho I'd imagine at least some of the models are going to be utilized (two birds, one stone).

With how Pokémon has played around with ancient/futuristic dichotomies (Unova, Paldea) and time travel (Alola, Hisui, and…many others tbh) in the past, though, it'd be interesting if PLZA wound up being a futuristic isekai to complement the distant-past adventure of PLA.

All that said, if PLZA is set in the past: We are all but certainly going to see young (or at least younger) AZ.

Very interested in this logo! Presumably it's comparable to that of the Galaxy Team, though unlike that one, it doesn't share much resemblance to the logo of its region's future evil team (Team Flare). The most similar organization logo we've seen thus far would be that of the Aether Foundation.

The only theory I have at present is that it could potentially be related to Diancie, which was first introduced in Kalos. The logo could be a stylized version of the incomplete ring & glittering gem around its neck.

Adjacent to that: I get the feeling that the Anistar City Sundial is going to have some level of importance to the plot. In XY, the Sundial allows the player to upgrade their Mega Ring + locate more Mega Stones throughout the region. As the Mega Evolution symbol was prominently displayed at the end of the presentation, we may get to learn some more about it and its origins – especially that bit about how it supposedly descended from space.

Other assorted notes:

We may get to see Camphrier Town – or, at least, Shabboneau Castle – during its heyday!

The A in PLZA's logo shares a similar construction to the marking on Xerneas' chest. It also has a plantlike pattern on it, which would connect to Xerneas' ability to induce life/growth…or it could be interpreted as a veinlike pattern, which would connect to Yveltal's design. It could also be completely unrelated to the Aura Trio lmao

I want to see Emmet so bad. Put both of those muppets in situations. Also I want double battles back please I'm begging and pleading stop making me fight 3+ enemies with only one Pokémon on my side–

So, I rewatched the trailer over and over again, I stepped back, organised my thoughts, and I think I get it.

So first the Bad, then the GOOD, because there's actually a lot to like here.

The Bad:

So, the trend of companies kicking actual voice actors onto the curb and replacing them with celebrities continues. I remember being really angry when they first announced the voice cast, and I still am. It's quite literally the most boring, generic casting possible. You can not get much more white bread, milk toast than a Chris and Scar - I want to play an Asian woman and trans man - jo. Also, why is Chris Hemsworth here? Do he really need the money? Did Thor 4 damage his pockets that bad? There are so many talented voice actors that could've been Orion, David Kaye is a prime example Animated Optimus and Beats Wars/Unicron Trilogy Megatron, beloved by fans, if he was announced people would've been over joyed. I love Brian Tyree Henry, and he actually has some experience with va work as he voiced Jeff Morales in Spider-Verse, my original criticism still stands.... And Kegan, oh Kegan, I love you so much, Key and Peele was my childhood, and the Toad performance was perfectly fine, endearing even. But as Bee? I'm sorry, but no, that's not BumbleBee that's just actor/comedian Kegan Michael Key, I can't hear anything else. And it doesn't help that he's handed the worst lines.

Which brings us to the comedy. First impressions are EVERYTHING. And if you fumble that that hurts your film, and the perception of your film. I think that's really the problem here, it's a bad trailer not necessarily bad content. Packing the trailer with jokes for the sake of jokes and having that samey Hollywood liscensed music cringey feel to it. Like the guitar riff that played when the 'This Fall' card came up just made me turn off the video immediately. That's why I recommend watching the trailer without sound. Bee's jokes don't really land for me, I'm sure kids with love it tho, and that's good. But I'm sure all the jokes won't be bad, the final door gag is actually really funny. So I think it was just a bad joke that soured out feel of the tone at the beginning, which is unfortunate because like I said first impressions are everything. Because this is Josh Cooly, of Up, Inside Out, Toy Story 4 fame, I'm sure the film will have an emotional core to it.

A minor thing I don't much care for is having Bee be in the same age range as Orion, in my mind he's always constructed during the war at like the half way mark or near the end, he's the little brother of the group, and now he's old enough to remember Op and Megs before the war. Also he sounds way too old.

Oh, also I don't like Orion's personality.

Good:

Now for the good; I think the animations style is gorgeous. Would have I liked something Spider-Verse/Mutant Mayhem-esk, of course, but what are you gonna do? The stand out here is the environments, a visual feast. This might already be my favourite Cybertron, it's so different yet reminisant of the Cybertron we know. The fact that the surface transformers and shifts and changes is genius, very IDW Phase 2 inspired. And the fact that Cybertron is a techno-organic hybrid world ala Beast Machines is crazy! I love that, and wildlife! I bet that's how we get the cassettes. The character models are great too, you can actually tell what emotion is happening on a person's face. Gone are the days of faces being made up of razor blades and mandibles BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT INSECTS FUCK YOU MICHAEL BAY. THEY'RE PEOPLE! There's the nose, the lips, the eyes, and I can tell where one begins and ends. The eyes are gorgeous and detailed, and the face surface detail has smuges, wear, specs of dirt, metallic texture. Like, you nailed it! It's a person but a robot, you got it!

We see what we assume are the 13 Primes, Alpha Trion being the only survivor, maybe they were killed by the Quintessons and they took over. D-16, a ref to IDW and his toys designation in the toy catalogue, he'll obviously name himself after Megatronus ala TF Prime. He seems to have the Decepticon insignia before meeting The Fallen so maybe Megatronus' face is some sort of religious iconography, the Primes are a religion on Cybertron after all. It's all so fascinating, I can't remember the last time I was so excited to learn more about a new TF continuity.

Orion and D-16 are both miners and or workers, that's a refreshing take, no coptimus here. They've suffered the same way together, I bet story will be about dealing with that pain, what justice means, how far one is willing to take it and where justice stops and injustice begins. I know people are mad that the origins are a little different, but I ask you, different from what? Which continuity are you talking about? TF has never had a consistent singular timeline, and that's what I love about this franchise! It builds on itself with each new continuity! Take a bit of the old, mix it with new ideas and create something fresh, then that old guard leaves and a new team takes over and does the same and the franchise continues to evolve or should I say transform. Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get, and new incarnations always give second chances to improve apon what came before. No Reboots, no risks means no Skybite, or Nemesis Prime, no Stasis Pods, Sparks, Protoforms, Energon ore, no Star Saber, Hot Shot, Knock Out, Airachnid, no All Spark, no Sari, no Bulkhead, no old grumpy Ratchet, none of that. Reboots are a part of this franchise's DNA. I sense the people that are complaining are the people who only value one continuity and discard all others.

It's really neat this universe's version of The Cast System is lower class worker protoforms being denied a Transformation Cog, it seems like it's reserved for the higher classes, the very thing that makes their species special and unique is denied to them. Also I didn't notice it the first time, but Alpha actually pulls the t-cogs out of the dead Primes which kind of signifies a passing of the guard, the old Primes failed, now it's your turn, and of course history repeats itself with the downfall of Megatron.

I like how Trion is covered and intertwined with moss and vines and has a beast mode, showcasing that he's of an older era now gone and forgotten.

Some other smaller stuff:

The sun looks like a holographic simulation, which makes me wonder, Cybertron doesn't usually have a sun, but there's plant life now, so what's up?

The cave that the dead Primes and Trion are in kinda looks like a Dweller.

Megatron's black helmet is a ref to Marvel G1.

That spin kick where Elita twirls her entire waist around is sooo satisfying. I love it.

AIRACHNID!!?!!!! MY QUEEN HAS RETURNED!!!!!!!

I think that's a good point to end on. So, yeah, v excited.

I would include some gloves tucked into her pocket or include some planet themed pins.

I think batman, the Red Hood Bruce story that's the last in my alternate red hoods series. Which kind of feels odd, because everything in that series has basically the same ending, since they're all modeled after the ending of the UTRH comic, but it feels more final with bruce as red hood? Most of my fics, even if the ending is sad, have a little bit of hope or the prospect of reconciliation in the future, and i don't know that that one does. Like it feels sadder than the TLOU au to me, and that one's grim.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

i don't write many happy endings so gotta go with a wild and an untamed thing. literally ignoring all canon plot so sam winchester can be in a throuple instead of getting pulled back into hunting.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I've never gotten outright hate, but I do occasionally get people Upset particularly with my bruce wayne characterisation. I lean into the way he acts and treats his kids in canon which is not necessarily super common in fandom. But I mostly just ignore it, if something is really egregious I'll delete the comment, there's not much point in engaging.

9. Do you write smut?

Yes, and I have been writing significantly more of it in the last few months lmao dragon age got me GOOD with the smut bug.

I don't do full crossovers, but I do write setting AUs on occasion.

oh I have spn fics I still think of going back to. most prominently finishing outs in free and it's sequels (the hunter jess fic) but also I had a case fic where dean got sam to help on a case in the summer after sam's freshman year in college that was half done, and I had a sam/patrick the poker witch WIP to round out the sam/brady and sam/paul tings I already had written.

16 What are your writing strengths?

Character voice and mood. I work really, really hard to ape canon feel, and to write extremely ic dialogue. That's what's interesting to me in fic, that's the area I like playing in.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

y'all I am SO bad at editing and proof-reading. i'm also not very good at descriptive language and setting, i'm not a visual person which makes describing what things look like complicated.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

it's very much situational for me. i'm not conversational in any languages except english, so i'm not going to throw things in all over the place. if i need something complicated and I know someone who speaks the language, i'll seek help. the most i'd put in without that would be pet names and swearing and i will do a Lot of research on how they work.

Anyway, didn't make any plot progression in crisis core this week, but I did manage to do some sidequests around Midgar (bc I have a feelign it's uh going to be a while before I see Midgar again) so here's some of the interactions I liked!

Unless fanfiction has steered me wrong (which is pretty possible) I believe that Lazard is supposed to be Shinra's illegitimate son? I do love that multiple npcs kind of hint about this as you walk around MIdgar :D

Hey :( I'll have you know that I tried really really hard to kill- I mean capture Hollander.

I wish the npcs didn't look so bad, because some of them have interesting viewpoints and bring up interesting things. Like, that not everyone even on top of the Plate supports Shinra and what they're doing. It's one of the things I love about FVIIR, is how much dialogue the npcs have that flesh out the world, and I love to see there's a smaller version of that here.

First, this scene had Kunsel so it elevates it so much I love seeing my boy even if he is just the same as every other npc model. And then, I love that the explanation for some of Shinra's monsters escaping is that literally some scientists just hate Shinra and want to see Midgar burn - I mean, specifically for the actions of Shinra and for the death of Ifalna. Kind of makes me wonder, though, how much of the scientists know that Aerith is still alive. Maybe he means tho that Ifalna was the last pure-blood Cetra.

Ah cool, answers for some things that have confused me or that I've had questions about! Like, who is the current head of the SOLDIER department. Considering that SOLDIER seems to be a shell of it's former self by the time FFVII comes across, it doesn't surprise me that it gets absorbed into the Security Department.

So, again, I'm fairly sure that this is a reference to Lazard being a Shinra, but also I find the headcanon/theory that Cloud is another illegitimate Shinra so fun - I don't necessarily believe it, but I think it's fun! So, uh, checkmate this trooper is talking about Cloud.

And I love the pay off for Tseng saying he gets paid a lot better than Zack. Sorry Zack, maybe if Lazard wasn't embezzling funds to help make your mentor into a monsters, you'd be able to afford a second outfit..

I loved this whole interaction between Zack and the Crescent Unit Captain. I'm not sure if it was possible to do this mission before this chapter, but with the context of Zack's experience killing Angeal, it shows how it's affected Zack's view points as well as gives you a sense of what Zack does think of honor. The importance of not giving up and dying, but of getting back up and giving what you care about your whole being.

Re: Camille and Harry

A former friend of mine, Lauren Caris Cohan (we aren’t friends anymore that’s why I drop her government name fuck her lmao) was rooomies with Camille while she was dating Harry, but they haven’t been friends in years. They cross paths sometimes and like, fake smile at each other, but they were like sisters for years.

Camille was dating Devendra Banhart, I’m talking spring 2017. They’d been dating for like two years and had been talking babies marriage the lot. He was touring Japan with his band and she was there visiting when out of nowhere she up and left. She told Lolo (Lauren) that she felt she was wasting her time with Dev, that she was bored because he was an old man. But she didn’t break up with him then. She went to NY and ranted to Lolo (who was friendly with Dev so it was awks), and it was basically white girl messy “idk what to do.” She has to go to London then for a shoot, and she met up with Alexa Chung (who’s also friends with Lolo and relayed all this to her eventually).

She basically told Alexa the same shit she said to Lolo, except she made it sound like she and Devendra were over and that it was “about time” because she’d been bored for ages and she needed to see what was out there. Alexa then tells Camille “well one of my friends has had a crush on you for a while” like, as a joke. Camille was kinda infamous in their group for going from one man to the other, but they didn’t really encourage it. Camille is like “who?” cause she knows Alexa knows a lot of “important” people. Alexa tells her it’s Harry and Camille seems mildly interested, and she’s like “well give him my number if you want.” Keep in mind, she was still dating Dev, Alexa didn’t know this.

Alexa gives Harry her number but is basically like “use it at your own demise she’s kinda crazy.” He’s an idiot who was already super into her, so he texts her.

He invites her to his house in London and offers to cook her dinner. Interesting tea: apparently he cooks very well but very sparsely, and nothing overly complicated. They have dinner, drink wine, and fuck. He’s already in love, and she still has a boyfriend, which at this point Harry doesn’t know.

She stays in London for a few weeks and they continue to meet up, mostly to fuck. Eventually he wants to make it official and she’s like “well I have a bf.” And he’s like ????? But continues to fuck her. Because men.

She does leave Dev before June ends iirc. I had to go back to read my gc with my Harrie friends after Lolo spilled the tea but I didn’t have the detail of when exactly they broke up, but I THINK it was in late June.

She and Harry make it official and he’s already planning the wedding while Camille is like, completely unaware of how bad he has it for her. This is the impression Lolo got after they met, btw. Like, she could see his heart eyes and she was mostly fascinated by the attention he got (not necessarily in a positive way, though at first not in a negative way either).

There isn’t really much tea at the beginning of their relationship, other than the fact that apparently it’s the healthiest Lolo has seen Camille. She struggled with an ED & a coke an addiction on and off her whole life, but it got a lot better after leaving Dev because Dev is a heavy user. Funnily enough Lolo is under the impression that Harry had never used before Camille, because at first she basically stopped. She also stopped smoking and gained some weight. Like, it wasn’t necessarily that Harry was great for her, but more so that Dev was a bad influence. Though Lolo said Harry’s circle is pretty wholesome, like, Hollywood wholesome, so not Disney Channel, yanno? But still, more wholesome than Dev’s and the NYC model circle.

That didn’t last long tho, because Camille got bored again, and she was annoyed at how much weight she’d gained, was worried she wasn’t gonna book anything. So she amped the coke use, and dragged Harry into it. As in, he started using. Perhaps not heavy or worryingly, but he indulged on something he’d avoided his whole career. As a fan, I do remember him saying that he never did drugs while in the band because he was scared he might be found out and get in trouble, and also that he said in an interview that when he was living with Ben and Meredith Winston it helped him stay off it even while surrounded by people who did coke because he didn’t want to show up high at their house. But I assumed he’d tried it before Camille, Lolo seems to think he didn’t. I think she has a very negative view of Camille so that colors her opinion, but, anyway, she met him and I didn’t so what the hell do I know.

Lolo never confirmed this, but I read it between the lines after a song of his leaked. Lolo basically said that something big happened when she was about to leave LA to film Hosea that fucked with their relationship and it was never the same.

Harry has a leaked unreleased song that says “and there’s you, looking lost in a hospital room, weakened mind of guilt, and you cry. I think you wanted to keep it.” Other fans theorized, and I kinda see it, that she got pregnant and either had an abortion she wasn’t convinced of or miscarried. I can see a scenario for both tbh.

Lolo implied that Camille’s coke problem got even worse right around the time Harry went on tour, and he was completely oblivious. Like, he thought they were just having fun for the longest time. Camille goes on tour with Harry, but Harry wants to be sober while on tour so she ups and leaves cause it gets harder for her to score in the middle of random European countries where she doesn’t know anyone. She goes back to LA and tells Lolo that she’s bored again, that she thought dating Harry would be like dating Andy (her ex) but it’s nothing like it bc Harry is too into wellness and Camille is more or less over that.

She goes back to see him during his tour and basically tells him they should break up, but he begs her not to. They agree to take a break, basically they still fuck but they can also fuck other people.

Camille starts seeing Alexander Skarsgard which gets back to Alexa Chung who’d recently broken up with him. Alexa cuts Camille out of her life completely and presumably tells Harry. Lolo didn’t know for sure, but apparently Harry started throwing jealous temper tantrums and Camille was like “wdym? I know you’re fucking around too. Don’t be a hypocrite.” But ig Harry thought they’d just have one night stands on the side, not full blown relationships (this is my guess, not Lolo’s).

Harry’s MSG shows come and he invites Camille who goes, but at this point they’ve been fighting a ton because of Alexander and other stuff. After the show he goes out with friends and gets high and wasted and calls Camille up and they fuck but right after they have the biggest blowup fight, mostly because of Alexander. Camille says he’s behaving like a child and kicks him out. After that, Harry fully ends things.

Camille had known Theo Niarchos for a while, and they’d been fucking for a couple of weeks, so she starts seeing him more frequently and soon are dating officially, because Camille cannot be single.

Lolo really resents Theo, she says he enables Camille’s worst habits and basically cut her off of her entire friend group, Lolo included. Last Lolo heard of Camille, she barely talked to her own parents and consumed more coke than water.

Basically, Camille has always been a mess, but neither she nor Harry were fully to blame for what happened, there wasn’t any cheating involved between them (but they did cheat on Dev), and it was messy as fuck, especially the breakup.

Keep in mind Lolo is very vindictive, like, once she has a negative opinion on someone it basically colors everything she sees about that person, so she may have exaggerated a lot of things about both Theo and Camille. She’s not Harry’s biggest fan but I think it’s more about the fact that she felt like Camille was finally doing better and him being oblivious and too career focused messed with that possible recovery.

OH MY GOSH! The happy dance-squealing sound combo I made when I saw this ask was absolutely insane. Buckle up because I am very excited, very caffeinated and going to write you a small novel in response!

I had way too much fun writing the whole piss segment, I too get extremely pee shy when there are people around and can hear it so I obviously had to inflict that on poor Fictional!Matty as well. In interviews from that era, Matty was also extremely passionate about Frozen, and Let It Go just seemed way too fitting 😂

Matty in 2014/2015 was tiny, at the time I don't think I even realized how tiny he was. But especially looking at pictures and videos of him now compared to then? Whoa. The man looked like a strong breeze would knock him over. Taylor during that time period, and Fictional!Taylor in my fic (who is a more dramatized version) was struggling with disordered eating and body images issues. Therefore, in my fic, she's hyper aware of those around her, and Fictional!Matty is skinny, boney, and as far as fictional!Taylor knows, basically living off of cigarettes, red wine, and Starbucks brownies, so obviously she is captivated by it. She had no idea that he's spiraling deeper and deeper into addiction. I think I had said it before, (and if I haven't I've at least told the Bestie) this isn't going to be a story where they make each other better. It's going to be one where they make each other worse.

IRL Matty during that era was a very outspoken Taylor Swift fan (before the whole putting his foot in his mouth thing about it being emasculating to date her) so my Fictional!Matty is obviously protective. He's still very much an up and coming artist at this point, and she's Taylor Fucking Swift in her 1989 era! He also has a little bit of a hero complex, we haven't seen it as much yet, since this fic is primarily from Taylor's perspective, but Fictional!Matty is an absolute disastrous mess and he is salivating at the chance to be the one to have it together, instead of having to constantly have someone else clean up his mess making him protective... And in terms of Fictional!Karlie, I hate to say it, but she is a model, and even if Heroin Chic wasn't necessarily all the rage in 2014 - it was still prevalent and influential enough that unlike my Fictional!Taylor, she knows what she's looking for and can clearly see the signs in Matty.

Taylor and George will be meeting in an upcoming chapter! It might not go the way that you're thinking or hoping though 👀

opened up a comic wip i've been kinda demotivated to work on since the end of september bc my art style had changed too much between pages so i was gonna have to redraw the 1st page i had spent so much time on.

finally redrawing it and holy crap in one month so much has changed about my understanding of proportions and how i draw connor.

its kinda cool to see that maybe i do have an art style bc there are pieces of that style still present. but my understanding of drawing connor's likeness has changed so i couldn't really replicate the old way if i tried hahaha.

idt the old version is necessarily bad but i just like the way i draw connor nowadays more. still trying to figure out a way to stylize him in a way that conveys his likeness without having to stay completely true to his realistic model. its hard tho cause connor is so pretty u_u

this collection was extremely disappointing. sue meeee! i think it's ugly. uglier than the schiaperelli collection. i think the pieces themselves are not very flattering on the models, like it could entirely be a issue with the way the clothes were styled, idk. i think it's very sporty? but at the same time trying to be elegant and feminine? and nostaligic? i think missed the mark on almost all of that.. it just feels like it's trying to do too many things at once, while not necessarily excelling at any of them. (i can't say for the nostalgia tho). i initially gave it a rating of 2, but that felt harsh. the collection is boring at best, and ugly at worst. though, i will always appreciate the technology developed to create these garment.

i think the dress could be very pretty if styled differently. i'd love to see it on a red carpet, because it really is pretty. the jackets.. i think that they're sequined to look like feathers, the silver one is nice. giving that same spacey-future vibe. the gold/brown one is okay, but not my fave.

i couldn't finish watching this on 2x speed so i just went to the website. i sincerely don't understand what the concept for this collection was? it feels incredibly NOT cohesive, like there wasn't a single coherent idea here. // i did enjoy the venue, i thought it was pretty. venue: 3.5/5 // casting: 3/10. idk who the hell felix is, what i gathered from youtube comments is that they're an idol. i think the brand relied so much on that persons position/fame to sell the collection, because i only see comments about felix being an ambassador and fans gushing over their participation. nothing about the actual collection. and honestly that is really disheartening to see, because LV seems to be garnering support in a slightly unethical way. the fans don't care about the fashion, rather a singular person walking the runway.

SUSTAINABILITY:

my sustainability rating is currently based on transparency and accessibility of currently available information: 3.9/5 | i think that louis vuitton does really well at being transparent with their sustainability, the information was super easy to find and very concise. they have really well intentioned and reasonable goals set, like getting rid of single use plastics by 2025. i think they should continue to focus on their wool and polyester sourcing, but other than that it seems fine. i find it isn't as detailed as the diesel website. their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and finding more efficient/renewable energy sort of makes up for that imo.

Lethal Company: There's not a lot of criticism I can throw at this game that doesn't bounce off as part of the intended experience. I do think that while the quick and cheap deaths make for good comedic value, I think it downplays the terror if you just die without having any clue what happened in the early game. But other than that, it nails the vision even if it isn't for me. Mad respect 7/10

Gundam Evolution Last Shooting: I already missed this game a few weeks after it shuttered. By the final season, the balance was just right and in the final days the group I was playing with started to 'click' with some of the units. I for one, was a monster at the Kampher, racking up insane kill streaks. It's a shame it couldn't have been in this state at launch. Another game killed by its live service model. The final hurrah of lost potential. 7/10

Lego Fortnite: Have you played and early-access survival crafting game before? Good, you can skip this. It sure is one of these. It has a lot of rough edges since it's running inside the framework of another game that doesn't mesh particularly well with it. Plus, fiddling with graphics settings requires relaunch so I couldn't tweak it to look good either. I think what kind of ruins the experience was the rigidity of the progression, which while heavily gated behind too many menus, isn't signposted well. 4/10

Half-Life Deathmatch (25th-anniversary update): What an event! I wouldn't necessarily say I had 'fun', perhaps because the social element has been atrophied by decades of modern multiplayer practices, but I had a blast. We found a server filled with quake weapons with no time limit so it was a high-killstreak, low TTK chaotic mess for like 20 minutes one round. 6/10

Plagiarism and You(Tube): Hbomb's career-ending adventures continue. 7/10

Half-Life Uplink: A neat little bite of HL2. Not a lot of meat on these bones, but it really is impressive how hard they pushed 'realism' in the environmental interaction withing the confines of the engine. 7/10

Into the Radius: Interesting worldbuilding and an ace solitary vibe. It took a bit for the cumbersome resource management to 'click' but the vibes are there. However, I do feel like quicker access to more diverse weapons might have helped hook me more. My strongest experience was doing one of the first missions at night and it went full horror in a way I hadn't experienced yet.

Lego Masters S4: On the positive side, the hosts are finally coming into their own and the challenges felt much more fresh in a way that actually engaged with their medium. However both me and my partner felt the hand of the producers in ways that made us actually angry. Certain teams were straight-up bad. Duckbricks deserved it 100 tho. 7/10

Skyrim - Clockwork: An interesting framing device for an interesting player home. I think it repeated the pitfall of making the open areas too big to be fun to comb over, but the story beats were effective. 6.5/10

Tintin: This is about as good an 3dcg animated Tintin could be. it didn't tickle my fancy but it was gorgeous and had some real inventive sequences. Since they don't really make adventure movies like this anymore, I think it called to mind the treasure-hunting antics of a Lupin movie. objective 8/10 but for me a 7/10

The Boy and the Heron: I don't blame anyone for having trouble following the narrative, since this type of semi-linear magical realism nonsense is a genre I have familiarity with. I remind them that these things work on an emotional axis that Marvel has taught people to ignore. Shoutout to all the Ghibli fans shocked to see their Ghibli movie isn't like those interpolated cooking compilations and cozy Totoro slippers. 9/10

Dragnet (1987): This sure is a late 80's buddy cop action comedy. I wonder if these fellas end up having a future in show buisness or high-quality vodka beverages? It got one good laugh out of me. 5/10

Babylon 5: The Road Home: Honestly, props to MJS and all the returning actors because for a decades-removed continuation, this feels like it didn't miss a beat. I imagine the casting director was sweating bullets trying to recast G'kar though. How can you? 8/10

Pokemon Concierge: Short, sweet, and to the point. I was agape at the technical proficiency of the stop motion, enough that I didn't notice the plot at all. 6/10

Ronin Mecha 2: Defenders of Space: This was made by the 3rd die-hard Autobot Inferno fan for the other two. It lacks that gonzo factor of the rest of the series so far and was pretty skippable. We did pop off when 'Pheonix King' actually turned into a fire truck though. -3/10

Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2: At times like these, I regret watching bad movies selected by a spinning wheel. How did this get made? This feels like a tv pilot that got a theatrical release. Theres a Nazi getting beat up by babies???? -5/10

Revenge of the Ninja: Solid ninja movie. A bit meandering but it had the right amount of gadgetry and stunts to keep the crowd's energy up. Shoutout ninja grandma. 6/10

Votoms: the Pailsen Files: At its best, it is alright. At its worst, it is kind of embarrassing. The initial foray into poorly integrated cg mechs is badly integrated that it makes the digital animation look right out of the early digipaint era at times. The OP and ED are sauceless. 5/10

well it’s been a looooong day and i feel like i should’ve done more but hey, it wasn’t all that bad. the train was super packed which made me kind of angry but i had pizza once i got to prague. i miss my boyfriend a looooot so i don’t know how i’m gonna get through the week without him :( also my belly hurts. but there were a lot of nice little moments today which made me feel warm and better, no necessarily happy but i think feeling okay is okay too <3
