The bell atop the door to Moshroot Pawn & Gun chimed, quickly followed by a yelp and a bang from across the establishment. The vendor dipped under his counter, scraping up whatever had fallen, and dumped it back in its place. Not even then was he prepared to greet you, much too preoccupied with fastening his mask back onto the lower half of his face.
"Um, welcome-!" he eventually greeted, voice cracking; he methodically rustled his hair to position it in front of his face, hiding behind it. "What's- wh4t's Up? What can I do for y@u?" ...... "...you want to ask me things? Oh, business rrelated? No-?" though his eyes were barely visible behind the disheveled mop of hair, it was safe to say they narrowed, gaze shifting to one rather accusatory all of a sudden. "Well, then, why..-? who Sent you? You kn- know, if you work for t;hem, you have to idendify yours, elf." ............... "...fine, fin,e, you can ask, but that doesn,t mean I'm going to answer any+Hing I don't like the sou#nd of."
have you gone through major stylistic or physical changes?
"W?h-y?" he immediately antagonized, hands stiffening on the surface of his counter. "Do you rec@gnize me fro,m ssomewh€re? If so, you're mista, aken. I've a/ways looked this way. Same clo+hes, saMe hair- yEp! Very, very boring,."
what might an acquaintance think is a good gift for you?
He paused for thought, fingers picking at a loose piece of wood on the surface of his counter.
"I liKe floricul- culture, horticu/ture… flower arran9ement. GarRdening. Did you nŒtice the flowers oUt front? They're mi,ine," he turned his head toward the store's front windows, his tense posture slightly softening as he fondly watched the flowers neatly potted on the outter window ledge rustle. "I haVe veg&&etad.,bles- sorry, vegetables- out back, too. If I wa5n't running this pl@,ce, I'd probbably be a florist or somet'hing, haha."

"Ah- sorry," he shook his head slightly, turning to face you once again. "anyway… I'm usua7ly gifted things relating to those. Seeds, pla4nt pots, flower sci5sors- having a ni*ce pair really makes a difference- flower wires, pruning shearz… lots of nice th!?ngs like that. I'm very grateful."
who would you first seek if you needed medical help?
"I can usua7ly handle i+t myself," he replied quickly. "My medical needs aRe kind of particular. I wouldn;'t trust any&ne else with me. Well, except this frien6 of min,e. He's the onLy guy I know that is knoWledg ab/e about… the sor,t of help I typica77y need, so probably him otherwise."
how do you relax?
"This pla*e is open pretTy much 24/7, so I don't ha\e much time for recre@tion. Gardening calms me do%wn, though. I al5so listen to ambience when I'm working, lik=e birds. Helps me pr£tend I am not here. I like to pla4y games too, igGu, ess."

is there a creature that scares you?
Atimo gave a laugh, though it didn't sound as though it was paired with a smile. Moreso ironic.
"Heh.. robots count as creatures, right?" Straightening his shoulders, Atimo cupped his hands, setting them at his front. "'Hello, welcome to Trade Cans! Please buy my items while I stare at you unblinking.' She rep9rts you 8ack to the O-D-Y-S-S-E-Y, you know," he continued, tone now more hushed, bracing the counter and leaning toward you a fraction closer. "All your pers9nal informat¥on. That's why she dœsn't wo(r)k here. Fully Roblo><ian operated bus?ness here. Yep."
what food or drink do you consider a treat?
"It's alwaYs nice to go out," he replied, looking down at his hands. "I don't rea//y eat out unle3ss invited to, but I li- ike the... intima¢y of it, I supPose. Just me an,d.s.,omeone el$e getti<N>g to know one anohthher persona/Ly. I jus7 wish it was s@meth1ng I ciould do mor,rre often."
is there a person you would turn to for backup in a fight?
"I don't fi9ht," he responded, that seeming to be the end of it until he perked up with a thought. "not willingLy. But espe(ially during sPortss', season, there's a lot of peop7e coming in here enibriated. I don't do b|/siness with Roblo><ians under the infLuence- issue of consent- which caN Get them pretty heated. W#en that happens, I can handle myself. I'm w£ll-verzed on self-defense 4r th@t reaSon."

"Sure," Atimo shrugged. "some`imes people c8me in with nice ite(()ms that I hope they don't pay me ba*k for so I can ke3p them. Computer partts, power toolS... things that'd be he(L)pful for businezs."
is there a fear you want to learn to overcome?
You and he stood in eerie silence as Atimo processed the question. His stance was rigid, the very same way it had been when you entered. His fidgeting ceased and his head tilted back up toward you.
"...Um, I th?nk I'm done with the qw3stions now.sOrry. If you're n'@t here +o buy or sell, p|ease see your5elf out."

The Illusion of AI: Unveiling the Magic Behind Artificial Intelligence
Dr. Jonathan Chen Reveals the Risks and Realities of Generative AI
Dr. Jonathan Chen, a renowned assistant professor at the Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research, captivated the audience at the HIMSS24 AI in Healthcare Forum with his thought-provoking performance. Drawing inspiration from Arthur C. Clarke's famous quote, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic," Chen highlighted the growing challenge of discerning reality from illusion in a world where technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), is advancing at an unprecedented pace.
Chen's engaging demonstrations, which included impressive magic tricks, served as a metaphor for the risks associated with AI, particularly generative AI. While acknowledging the value AI offers, he emphasized the need for transparency and a clear understanding of its potential dangers.
youtube
The Invisible Forces at Play
Chen emphasized the "invisible forces at play" in the age of generative AI, comparing them to the black-box concept of machine learning algorithms. He showcased a video of an AI-generated speaker who closely resembled himself, raising questions about the authenticity of what we perceive as real. Chen stressed the need to critically evaluate the credibility of AI-generated content, as it challenges our ability to distinguish between what is genuine and what is fabricated.
The Pandora's Box of AI
Chen acknowledged the wide range of practical applications of AI in healthcare, from automating administrative tasks to enhancing patient engagement. However, he cautioned that the Pandora's box of AI has been opened, leading to both positive and negative consequences. Chen recounted a conversation with medical trainees who were relying on AI systems like ChatGPT during their rounds.
He advised caution, urging them to understand the limitations and potential pitfalls of using AI as a medical reference.
The Evolution of AI
Chen highlighted the evolving nature of generative language models (LLMs), describing them as "autocomplete on steroids." These models have demonstrated emergent properties, such as question answering, summarization, translation, and even reasoning with a theory of mind. Chen emphasized the power of language in creating convincing illusions of intelligence, urging clinicians to be vigilant for confabulation, where AI systems string together words without true understanding or meaning.
The Empathy of AI
Contrary to popular belief, AI is not devoid of empathy. Chen referenced a study conducted by his colleagues at Stanford, which found that chatbot-generated answers to medical questions scored higher in quality and empathy compared to responses from real doctors. This challenges the notion that humans have a monopoly on empathy and therapeutic relationships.
Chen predicted that more people may seek therapy and counseling from automated robots due to the overwhelming demand and limited supply of human healthcare providers.
While AI continues to shape the healthcare landscape, Chen emphasized the irreplaceable role of humans in the equation. He quoted healthcare IT and informatics pioneer Warner Slack, stating that any doctor who can be replaced by a computer should be replaced by a computer. However, Chen's concern lies in the burnout experienced by physicians who are burdened with data entry tasks and the overwhelming needs of millions of patients.
He expressed hope that AI systems can alleviate some of the workload, allowing healthcare professionals to find joy in their work once again. Ultimately, Chen believes that those who embrace and learn to effectively utilize AI will thrive in the ever-changing healthcare landscape.

‘Loki’: Behind the Scenes of the Crumbling Time Variance Authority
Find out what Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Owen Wilson, and Tara Strong all have to say about the TVA.
by Rachel Paige
[spoilers to Loki S01E04]
The Time Variance Authority sure seems like a cool and fun place to work! That is...until you start peeling back the layers of the previously unseen and unheard-of organization, and realize that they’ve been lying to everyone this entire time. Welcome to the TVA, y’all!
In Episode 4 of Marvel Studios’ Loki, “The Nexus Event," the truth starts to come out, and when it rains at the TVA, it pours. Where to even begin?
For starters, the Time Keepers did not create everyone working at the TVA, and it turns out the employees walking the halls and filing paperwork are all variants — with their memories scrubbed, of course. And if that’s not enough to swallow, the Time Keepers are actually robots and completely useless figureheads. Oh, and Mobius and Loki find themselves pruned at the hands of Judge Renslayer. That’s still just scratching the tip of the TVA iceberg!
So what’s it like when everything you thought you knew about your job turns out to be a lie? Marvel.com chatted with Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Judge Ravonna Renslayer), Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), Owen Wilson (Agent Mobius), and Tara Strong (the voice of Miss Minutes) about bringing the TVA to life, and what happens next in the series.
JUDGE RAVONNA RENSLAYER
Renslayer wasn’t always sitting behind a big desk in a big office at the TVA. “She has worked her way up to the top. She wasn't born into power. She started as a Hunter,” Mbatha-Raw tells Marvel.com. As viewers see at the start of Episode 4, Renslayer was the Hunter tasked with grabbing the Loki variant — aka Sylvie — from her timeline to stand trial.
Now that she’s in a higher position, she’s not going to veer off her straight and narrow path.
"She's really worked hard to get where she is, so she's not going to be reckless with the power that has been hard-earned for her,” Mbatha-Raw continues. “She, in some ways, is deeply indoctrinated with the ways of the TVA. She's completely conditioned by their thinking and the idea of the Sacred Timeline, and the concept of free will is quite alien to her. She's a believer. She believes in law and order, and it's done quite well for her so far in terms of getting her to where she is. She's not going to abandon her philosophy lightly.”
We see this in action when Renslayer realizes that Mobius has gone behind her back trying to get to the bottom of what happened to Hunter C-20. After a meeting with Renslayer, Mobius swipes her TemPad and discovers that the young Hunter was questioned, and in the process confessed that she knew they were all variants. And the person interviewing her? None other than Renslayer herself, who ends the interview abruptly. This is the sort of information Renslayer does not want to get out.
“It was fun to start off with everything being sort of very orderly and black-and-white for Renslayer. As her reality begins to crumble, we discover that alongside her. She has put everything into this. This is her whole world. Her career is her life.”
Renslayer isn’t going to let anything and anyone stand in the way of what she’s worked hard to accomplish, and that includes Mobius. Mobius tries to confront his superior about Hunter C-20, the variants, and the TVA, and in a shocking twist, Renslayer orders the agent pruned for being compromised!
“Her only friend, really, is Mobius, and she kind of betrays him,” Mbatha-Raw says. “Or she sees it as he betrayed her, and they have this massive schism. And you sort of think, gosh, where is she going to go now? Who's going to be in her corner? Who's she going to have a drink with at the end of the day. It's a lot of stress!”
HUNTER B-15
Someone else who has led their entire life believing in the TVA and what it stands for is Hunter B-15. The part of no-nonsense Hunter, originally written as a male character, ultimately went to Mosaku after her audition.
While reading the dummy sides (fake scenes for the audition), Mosaku and director Kate Herron determined the gender didn’t alter who Hunter B-15 is at the root of the character. “Despite being written a man, Hunter B-15 is a Hunter and works for the TVA. It didn’t change the scripts. I have free reign because she's new. B-15 doesn't exist in the MCU, so I really got to start from scratch and explore different ideas and themes, and take her wherever Kate and I wanted to.”
But, one thing the character couldn’t do? Be swayed by Loki’s charms. Mosaku was excited to step into this role, and not take any nonsense from Loki.
“It's very rare to have a [character], especially as a woman, [who doesn’t want to be] sweeter, nicer, or make people like you. She's not interested in that at all. And therefore, she's not interested in [Loki] — and Loki is very interested in that. He's charming and all that stuff, and it's all about luring you in. She just doesn't take any of it. It's not attractive to her. It's not intriguing to her. She's just, ‘Let's get the job done, please.’”
While Hunter B-15 starts off all commanding and tough, slowly she, too, begins to realize that not everything is what it seems at the TVA. After she’s enchanted by Sylvie at Roxxcart, Hunter B-15 has memories come rushing back to her — but what are they, and what did she see? That’s still a mystery for Mosaku, too, who explains, “I'm as intrigued as you are to find out what that backstory is.”
Whatever she saw, it propels her to take a stand against the TVA. This meant Mosaku went through training — in more ways than one, “They drilled us on the physical vocabulary of the TVA and the fight sequences that we had.”
At the end of Episode 4, Hunter B-15 comes to Loki and Sylvie’s aid when they come face to face with the Time Keepers, throwing the latter her machete (which she’s clearly stolen from Renslayer’s office). What follows next is a battle for power in front of the Time Keepers, one in which not everyone survives.
“We did have a trainer to make sure that we were physically capable of doing it all and not injuring ourselves,” states Mosaku. “I really loved that, because I love to box. I felt really strong and able to use my physical power in a way that I hadn't been able to before.”
MOBIUS
Agent Mobius is having a day. Not only is he watching his whole life and career crumble around him, but he then winds up on the wrong end of a pruning stick by the end of the episode. While he might have started off as a through and through company man when we first meet him, after Loki tells him they’re all variants, Mobius starts to think about where his true allegiance lies. (And if he ever had a jet ski??)
The biggest revelation in the episode for Mobius is not necessarily that he’s a variant, but rather that his closest friend, Renslayer, has been concealing the truth from him this whole time.
“The relationship between Mobius and Renslayer, it's the way you might have with your boss. Or when you're back in school with the principal or someone in a position of authority and having to sort of try to charm them so you're able to pursue your projects,” Wilson tells Marvel.com. “That's the dynamic between Mobius and Renslayer. She sort of loses patience with Mobius and with another one of his schemes. But, I think, she also sort of enjoys that he's a little bit of a rascal.”
That certainly might have been true at one point in time, but after Mobius swipes Renslayer’s TemPad, as Wilson continues, “by the end of that relationship, it has become something very different”
Mobius might have caught Renslayer in a lie, but it’s Renslayer who orders him pruned — and Loki witnesses the whole thing.
"The betrayal of Mobius by Renslayer is pretty shocking. And it's a little bit of a hall of mirrors within the whole series, that people aren't quite who they seem to be. In the same way that Loki, when he lands in this bizarre place called the TVA, Mobius will have sort of the same struggles. What is this organization? And is it something that is worthy of his devotion?”
MISS MINUTES
There’s one other very important person at the TVA: Miss Minutes! She’s not really a recording, and she’s not really alive, she’s sorta both! So what’s going to happen to the organization’s spokesperson as the TVA starts to fall apart?
Coy with her response, Tara Strong, who voices the perky clock, explains, “It's safe to say that Miss Minutes knows absolutely everything, and it's also safe to say I wouldn't mess with her too much.”
Recording for the character, Strong actually watched episodes (over video chat), and synched up her dialogue with the action in each scene.
“The show was already done before I stepped in, which was such a great gift,” she explains. “Had I gone first and watched a placeholder, it wouldn't have been as magical. But getting to sit there and witness the animation, and how cute it is and how stylized it was, and of course, to play off Tom Hiddleston, who's so brilliant, it was really a gift to have it all come together in front of me.”
For every scene, Strong recorded dozens of different versions of dialogue “to play with for the production crew to see what would fit in the best and what would make the most sense.” As the show was coming together, Strong knew she had the difficult task of giving Miss Minutes life and unloading “exposition while still making it fun and playful.”
“Everything she says is important and funny and interesting. I also love that even in the very beginning, when she's like, [Miss Minutes’ voice] ‘Don't hesitate to let us know how we're doing. We could explode you in a minute, but drop a line to let us know how you feel about it!’ It's like the perfect mix of who she is that she can be giving you such dire information with a smile on her face, and you still want to sit down and have a cupcake with her.”
Considering what she knows, and how many times she’s now dumped information, how else might she be able to step in and help Loki?
“She knows so much about the TVA, and it’s her job to relay this information to Loki,” says Strong. “[She needs] him to get past some of the things he's done [in order] to improve himself as a member of this universe, and how to grow and help. I [navigate] these moments with him, careful to not give away how much I actually know in the world.”

The development of technology makes accounting more convenient and efficient, accounting computerization has improved the status of accounting, artificial intelligence is responsible for basic accounting, and cloud computing can share the latest information and data in real-time. Advanced technology makes accountants get rid of the tedious accounting work, simplifies the accounting work, not only improves the work efficiency but also reduces the workload. However, while technology provides advantages for accounting work, it also has disadvantages.
1. Disadvantages of computerized accounting
1) The potential risk
Dependence on computers can sometimes lead to bigger problems. As more software data is stored in the cloud, there are more opportunities for hackers to gain access to and use your business's financial data. If a hacker uses an employer's tax certificate to open credit cards and business loans, this puts assets at risk and creates potential liability. There is also the risk that someone inside the company will access the information, perhaps stealing money from daily deposits and altering the data in the program.
2)Technical problems
Problems may arise when dealing with the computer. You may be filling out year-end data for your accountant and encounter a power outage. The computer may be infected with a virus and fail. Users may also incorrectly perform software tasks they are not familiar with. If the user tries to do something but accidentally does something else, it may take some work to eliminate the error.
3)Inaccurate information
Automation can save time, but it can also cause problems if the information is incorrectly entered. The automatic transmission of these numbers can mean that the system has errors in the various reports and other items it generates. Errors in software are also potential problems that can lead to incorrect information or calculations.
2. Disadvantages of cloud computing
1)Information security issues
Although cloud service providers implement the best security standards and industry certifications, storing data and important files on external service providers always poses risks. Data is at risk of being stolen by hackers and used for malicious purposes.
2)Information processing capability
The transmission speed of accounting information is greatly affected by network bandwidth and other factors. Frequent data access and massive data exchange will result in data delay and network congestion. The load capacity of network transmission has become a bottleneck in the application of cloud computing in accounting informatization.
3) Downtime
Because cloud computing systems are network-based, service outages are always an unfortunate possibility and can occur for any reason. The shutdown caused serious economic losses.
3. Disadvantages of artificial intelligence
1) Vulnerability risk of the system
With people still behind the setup of robot systems, there is a risk that accounting operations will be artificially programmed to produce incorrect accounting results. When we blindly rely on artificial intelligence to conduct accounting without strict internal control and verification mechanism, artificial intelligence will be reduced to profit regulation by some interest groups.
2) It violates the idea of mutual inspection in accounting
As a result of the particularity of accounting post, cannot be compatible between some posts. Such as a cashier and accountant, a post of personnel cannot be both referee and athlete. Only two positions have different personnel to check each other to ensure that the amount is the same and there will be no mistakes and fraud. But if artificial intelligence does the two jobs instead, how they check against each other goes against the concept of checking each other in accounting. Under artificial intelligence, repetitive accounting labor will be reduced in the future, and some personnel who do basic data sorting will be replaced. In the past, the process of manual work will be handled by robots, which is a great challenge for accounting professionals, who are faced with either transformation or replacement.

〈“Every single day I feel that gold underneath. I see the locked doors but I got the key. I’mma give you a second just to catch your breath.” Zayde Wolf, “Gladiator”〉
⊱ ────── {⋅. 🔥 .⋅} ────── ⊰
My eyes blinked open, vision blurry as I reached for my phone in the darkness. Three in the damn morning… what the fuck woke me up? I reached up to rub at my eyes, feeling something wet against my fingers. Was I crying? Maybe I had a bad dream and that’s what woke me up… but I certainly don’t remember having a nightmare. Whatever.
I rolled over as I yawned loudly, easily slipping back into unconsciousness.
⊱ ────── {⋅. 🔥 .⋅} ────── ⊰
The morning sky was covered with dark gray clouds, rain soaking the earth below. Despite the rough morning I had, feeling the cold rain soaking through my uniform felt absolutely amazing, easily putting a smile on my face. It’s weird as fuck since my quirk deals with fire, but I’ve always felt peace when it rains. As a child, I would literally drop everything I was doing when it started to rain so I could just sit outside and watch it fall. To me, the rain signifies new beginnings, washing away the sins of the past.
“Excuse me.”
And then a fucking human being has to come and ruin that peace. I sighed deeply, turning halfway around to see a beanpole of a boy with dark brown hair and matching eyes. “What?”
“You’re… Jen Winchester, right?”
Goddamn sports festival, now everyone and their fucking pet knows who the fuck I am. A bead of sweat dripped down my cheek. Or maybe it was a drop of rain, who knows. “Depends who’s askin’.”
He grinned brightly, adjusting the umbrella handle that sat against his shoulder. “I thought so, but I wasn’t sure. We haven’t actually met – my name’s Yuki Reigen.”
I looked at his outstretched hand with narrowed eyes. That name sounds familiar as fuck but my mind is completely blank, though that’s nothing new. If it ain’t tacos, Deadpool, or cats, I have no spare brain space.
He laughed awkwardly, pulling his hand away. “I looked different when you saw me… my hair was blonde and I was wearing blue contacts. You helped my little brother, Riku.”
“Ah!” Recognition flooded my mind and probably my face. “He’s fucking lucky I caught him when he jumped from the stands. He coulda been seriously fucking hurt, bro.”
He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Yeah, he can be a handful.”
I raised a brow, putting my hand on my hip. “You’re the one that was too fucking distracted by a woman to notice that he had slipped away. Be a better brother before you lose your chance.”
He sweatdropped. “You don’t pull any punches, huh. Anyway, I was hoping to catch you so I could thank you.”
“For what?”
“Riku has always been… a troubled kid. Our dad is a pro hero – not a very good one, but a hero. When mom got pregnant with Riku, dad wasn’t doing too hot money-wise and then he started drinking. He blamed all of his failures on Riku, which is completely baseless.” He shook his head, brow furrowed as he recalled the memory. “I don’t know how, but Riku remembers all the horrible things dad said to him before he left us, so he’s always acted out – getting into trouble, skipping school, picking fights. His eyes were on you from the moment you took down that giant robot. I haven’t seen him that excited in a long time, you know. It’s really small, barely noticeable, but… he’s starting to change and I fully believe it’s because of you. So, thank you, Jen Winchester.” He bowed low, his back becoming wet from the rain.
I smiled, patting his shoulder to make him straighten up. “He’s a pretty good kid. Take care of him, yeah?”
“I’ll work hard to be a better brother!” He smiled, but it quickly dropped when my hand squeezed his shoulder.
“You better, because if you don’t, I’ll cut your dick off and make you eat it, ‘kay?” I smiled brightly, patting his shoulder again.
“Y-Yeah… sure…!”
We parted ways and I continued on toward U.A. high, stifling a yawn as I readjusted my bag across my shoulder. I stepped through the archway of the school and the rain suddenly stopped, making me pause. The fuck? Is there a fucking bubble around the school or somethin’? I glanced up, seeing a transparent umbrella over my head.
Reggian appeared on my right with a grin. “Hey, there Winchester. You’re looking kinda we – holy shitbricks, what happened to your face?!”
I scowled, gently poking at the swollen skin under my right eye. “Aizawa’s fucking cat attacked me while I was fucking sleeping this morning.
“Wait, you live with a teacher?” He wiggled his brows. “Scandalous.”
I rolled my eyes. “He’s a family friend, dumbass. I’m helping him out while he’s injured.”
We continued toward the school building and he hummed. “Did you at least clean and disinfect the wound?”
“I mean, I washed the blood off.” I rubbed my right eye, which is red and still fucking stinging. “I also got toothpaste in my eye.”
“Bitch, how the fuck?!”
“I have no fucking idea… stop laughing, you twat!”
He covered his mouth, clutching the frame of the entrance as his shoulders shook with laughter. “Y-Y-You’re a mess!!”
“Yeah, no shit.” I rolled my eyes before activating my quirk. My body started to heat up, effectively drying my uniform, but his damn laughter fucking distracted me and once my concentration slipped, my damn tie caught on fire. “Fuck,” I scowled, putting the flames out and throwing my burnt tie into the trash bin.
Reggian laughed harder, slapping the footlockers with his hand and earning strange looks from the passing students.
“You’re such a loser,” I muttered, pulling my boots off and changing them for the ugly ass white ones to school makes us wear indoors.
“And you’re a nerd!”
“Your fucking face is a nerd.”
“Your twat is a nerd.”
We stared at each other blankly for a solid two minutes before bursting out laughing, earning even more looks from the passing students. Iida came rushing through the doorway with Zuku close behind and he smiled at me, making me raise a brow. “Good morning, Winchester! Where is your tie? And what happened to your face?”
“She set it on fire,” Reggian managed through fits of giggles, his hand over his mouth. “And angered the cat gods!”
“I see. Please be more careful!” He smiled before turning to the ravenette. “Sorry, I don’t know your name. I’m Tenya Iida, class 1-A’s class rep.”
My brow furrowed in confusion and I glanced at Zuku, who was shaking the water from his umbrella. The last time I saw Iida, he was adamant that I don’t belong here and that I’m connected to the League of Villains, and now he’s treating me like I’m a friend? The fuck?
“Regina Reggian, but please call me Red. I’m from class C.”
“Ah, general studies, I see. It’s nice to meet you!” Iida held his hand out and the two shook hands before he turned to his locked, taking his rain boots off. Reggian sent me this weird-ass wave that looked like he dislocated his wrist before turning and walking away.
Zuku watched him for a moment, chewing on his bottom lip thoughtfully. “So, Iida, um…”
“If it’s about my brother, don’t be concerned. I’m sorry if I made you worry.” Iida smiled, pushing back the hood of his raincoat. “Everything will be fine.” And then he walked away.
Zuku turned to me with a frown, his brow furrowed in concern. “I’m really worried about him, Jen.”
I hummed, throwing my arm around his shoulder in a half-hug. “Just be there for ’em, but don’t push. If he needs help, I’m sure he’ll let you know.”
“I hope so…”
“Come on, we don’t wanna be later.” I ruffled his hair before walking toward class with him close behind. As always, excited chatter greeted us as soon as the door was slid open. Honestly, the day I walk into this room and it’s silent is legit gonna be the first day of the apocalypse, I’m callin’ it.
“It’s so weird that people recognize us from TV.” Ashido chirped happily. “Everyone wanted to talk to me on my way here!”
“Yeah, me too!” Kirishima grinned.
“People on the street were staring at me!” Toru added, her invisible hand resting over her chest. “It was kind of embarrassing,”
“Sure, but isn’t that pretty normal for you?” Ojirou asked softly, sweatdroppng.
Pft, I was just gonna fucking say that. I mean, if I fucking saw a pair of floating clothes going down the street, I’d fucking stare, too, thinking the fucking life fibers were invading. Oh god, and then Nudist Beach would arrive. Just the thought makes me shudder.
“You won’t believe what a bunch of elementary school brats yelled at me,” Sero complained with an expression that clearly said he was shook.
“‘Nice try’?” Tsu guessed and he cried out, grabbing his hair between his fingers. Guess she hit the nail on the head, huh.
I tuned out the chatter, following Zuku to his desk behind a certain blonde. Katsuki was sitting in his desk with his chin resting against the heel of his right hand, clearly still sulking about the festival. I grinned, “Yo, Katsuki. You look constipated, as usual.”
“Shut up,” he grumbled, glancing at me. “You look like someone bitch-slapped you. Twice.”
“I got bitch-slapped by Aizawa’s damn cat,” I deadpanned.
“Dumbass.”
“You still mad about me not making the top two?”
He was silent for a moment, turning his head away so I couldn’t see his face. “… Sparky said you defended me against that blonde extra from class B.”
I hummed. “I defended the whole class, you included.”
Another moment of silence before he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. “Don’t fucking do that again. I don’t need your dumbass to defend me.”
I smiled, ruffling his ash blonde hair. “I’ll defend all of you ’til the day I die, so get it over it, brat.” I stepped off to the side, ruffling Zuku’s hair, as well, before heading to my seat behind Momo, who sent me a kind smile and a small wave as I passed. She half-turned in her seat, looking like she wanted to say something, but she turned back around when the door slid open.
Hmm, looks like Aizawa got his bandages off, that’s good. “Morning.”
“Good morning, Aizawa-sensei.” The class chorused as he stepped up to the podium at the front.
“Ribbit. Aizawa-sensei, you don’t have bandages anymore, that’s good news.”
He rubbed the skin under his eye with his pinkie. “The old lady went a little overboard in her treatment. Anyway, we have a big class today on hero informatics.”
Hero who in the what now? Fuck, I need my phone. Let’s see, pull up Goggle, type in whatever fucking shit he just said, and search… uhh, ‘the science of processing data for storage and retrieval’… fuck, can a girl get a definition for her definition??
“You need code names,” he said blankly. “Time to pick your hero identities.”
“This is gonna be totally awesome!!”
Aizawa activated his quirk, eyes glowing red as his hair shot up to slap gravity in the face. Seeing this, the class instantly went silent, reclaiming their seats. “This is related to the pro hero draft picks that I mentioned the last time we were in class together.”
His hair fell back around his shoulders as his quirk deactivated.
“Normally, students don’t have to worry about the draft yet, not until their second or third year, actually, but your class is different. In fact, by extending offers to first-years like you, pros are essentially investing in your future potential. Any offers can be rescinded if their interest in you dies down before graduation, though.”
“Stupid selfish adults!” Mineta slammed his fist on his desk, body shaking.
“So what you’re saying is, we still have to prove ourselves after we get recruited,” Toru spoke up.
“Correct,” Aizawa continued. “Now, here are the totals for those of you that got offers.” He clicked a remote and the board behind him sprung to life.
“In the past years, it’s been more spread out, but there’s a pretty big gap this time.”
“Gah!” Kaminari threw his head back with a groan. “That’s no fair~”
“What about the real star, moi?” Aoyama huffed, cupping his cheeks with his hands.
“Todoroki got the most ahead of Bakugo?” Kyoka asked in surprise.
“Yeah, it’s the opposite of how they placed in the festival,” Kirishima added.
“They probably weren’t excited about working with a guy who had to be chained up in the end,” Sero shrugged with a grin.
“If I scared a pro, they’re just weak!!” Katsuki yelled.
Momo sighed sadly before forcing a smile and turning to Todoroki. “That’s amazing. You must be proud.”
“These offers are probably because of my father.” He responded coldly, not sparing her a glance.
Ochaco had tears in her eyes as she grabbed Iida’s shoulders, shaking him back and forth. “People want us!”
Mineta reached forward, shaking Zuku. “Midoriya! You got none! I bet everyone was really grossed out by the crazy way you were fighting!”
I scowled, balling up a piece of paper and throwing it at his head. “Leave him alone, dipshit, you didn’t get any either. No one wants your perverted ass!”
“Despite these results,” Aizawa raised his voice, gaining everyone’s attention. “You’ll all be interning with pros, got it? Even though of you who didn’t get any offers.”
“Oh, so, we’re all interning?” Zuku asked in surprise.
“Yes. You already got to experience combat with real villains during the attack on the USJ facility, but it’ll still be helpful to see pros at work, up close and personal, in the field, first-hand.”
“And for that, we need hero names!”
“Things are suddenly getting a lot more fun!”
“These hero names will likely be temporary, but take them seriously or -”
The door slammed open. “You’ll have hell to pay later!” Midnight stepped into the classroom and the perv squad got stupid looks on their faces, staring at her intently. “What you pick today could be your codename for life. You’d better be careful or you’ll be stuck with something utterly indecent.”
I rolled my eyes. Does she have to sway her hips like that when she walks? Like, we get it, you have a nice fucking body and you’re proud, but at least have some decorum around your damn students, dumbass.
“Yeah, she’s got a good point.” Aizawa agreed, brow furrowing briefly. I wonder how he chose his name. Does he regret it? “Midnight is going to have final approval of your names. It’s not my forte.” He reached down, grabbing his yellow sleeping bag and stepping inside of it.
“Now wait a minute,” I scowled, leaning to the side to see around Momo. “It’s our names, why the fuck do they need to be approved? And by her, of all people. If she has her way, we’ll all have fucking lewd ass names.”
She pouted, cocking her hip and resting her wrist against it. “What kind of person do you take me for, Winchester?”
“You really want me to answer that?” I deadpanned. “Thot.”
Even though I muttered the last part under my breath, she heard me. A tic mark appeared on her temple and she launched at me, pulling me into a tight headlock. “What did you just call me, brat?!”
“Hah?! Are you going deaf, grandma?!” I struggled against her hold.
“I am not old!!”
“You’re right, I’m sorry. You’re fucking ancie – ow!!”
The class only sweatdropped as they watched us argue back and forth.

So here's an interesting au thing #RichDeku au
-Izuku is Quirkless
-Katsuki bullies deku because of it
-one day at the rooftop of the school katsuki accidentally pushed Izuku off the roof when he and a few other bullies with fighting him
-luckily izuku survives but his legs are now crippled and unusable, He uses a wheelchair now
- Katsuki regrets this alot
-Izuku's dad is a super rich guy who died and gave all his money and resources to Inko
-inko never used them until izuku legs were crippled
-Izuku's dad bought him an entire building before he died and placed it under Izuku's name
- Izuku's dad was a very successful Information broker for both Heroes and Villains.
-Izuku becomes the succesor of his late father's job and opts to live in the building with his mom while hiring a few mercs to keep guard. He's never leaves the building since
-Katsuki becomes Izuku's self proclaimed body guard (he actually gets paid tho). But still wants to be a hero
- Izuku and Katsuki apply for ua as a duo
-Izuku doesn't leave the building but instead uses holographs and tiny flying bug cameras to go out.
-Katsuki wears a chocker he calls "The Eye of Rah" thats actually a 360 camera for deku with a GPS tracker.
- his hero costume also has an eye on his forehead, its also a 360 camera
-Izuku becomes Katsuki's on battle informant and strategist
-he is also a skilled hacker
- Katsuki "YOU THINK YOU CAN HIDE FROM US INVISA-BITCH GUESS WHAT HIS EYES ARE EVERYWHERE and its infrared" que dramatic scene
- Katsuki "I have eyes in the skies and ears on the walls, no matter where you hide or what the fuck your hiding. DEKU will find it out for me. And then you'll die"
-They are basically the dream Support+Hero team.
-Deku has Bird cams, Fly cams, Spider cams, Dog cams, Cat cams, Mosquito cams and cockroach cams. He uses them to spy on people and you'll never know which ones are cameras cus they look and act so alike. The only way you'll know is if you squash them and robo parts come out.
- Izuku has already technically passed college level but chooses to stay at highschool level to support Katsuki.
-He is BASICALLY the bottom sugar daddy
- Katsuki "Money? All i have to do is snap my fingers and show my credit card and litterally every worker in this mall will kiss my shoes"
- phone suddenly rings "Kaachan~! I need you to get me a box no 3 BOXES of pocky~~~ thank youuuuu" hangs up
-Izuku has THAT MUCH MONEY also because he has alot of influence in high places
-Katsuki spends a lot on his Costume and wrist Braces.
- One day UA class 1-A & B go on a field trio to see the central of Information brokers, Midori Inc. Where people can come, sell their information, buy information, get an information network and hire a manager to handle to the networks. The Midori Inc looks like a building for the future ie, Holograms, Hoverboards, lots of glass tunnels for messages, robots, Uniformed informats.
-The reason why Midori Inc hasn't been forcibily shut down is because it has alot of dirt on the Goverment, Politics and almost every hero out there. You mess with M.I? Prepare to have your darkest deepesr secrets and weaknesses unveiled in broad daylight.
-All the workers including the robots call Katsuki "Young master Katsuki", Mitsuki "Mistress Mitsuki", Masaru "Master Masaru" , Inko "Madam", and Izuku "The Big Boss" even tho he is very smol
- The Bakugous and Midoriyas live on the same floor with different rooms but a big door connecting them both in the middle of it
- Izuku and Katsuki share a room with 2 big beds (They like to combine the beds) just incase Izuku needs help with anything.
- and yes, There are robot pets
- also yes #Dadmight
- the UA classes are #shooketh and they are provided with 2nd Class Building Clearence so they get to tour around the offices, training facilities and Science/IT labs. Where they meet Intern Hatsume Mei ❤
- But they don't have clearance to the Residence floors, The Private training facilities, The VIP training, Gym and spa facilities and the TOP floor where Izuku works
-Luckily Katsuki has Master Building Clearance so after (a lot of bribing) they check out the VIP Facilities and travel up to the top floor where they finally meet Midoriya Izuku in the flesh.
-And izuku is a Shy Smol Bab in which Katsuki likes to push around with his wheel chair (It's relaxing for him lol)
-Izuku's wheel chair is the top of the line Hover wheel chair with extra cushion and mobility (inko : Only the best for my baby izuku)
- it also has a tazer
- and a peper spray can
- Basically Izuku is Charles X without the super powers and More money 😉 and no teen students but a lot of grown up students who want to learn how to trade info
I had to put this up so i dont forget lol for myb next month or when i have free time 😂

34 with gx, and 47 with haru & bowman please <3
Thanks for asking >w< I didn’t realized explaining a story could take so long, and I hope they do make sense and are enjoyable. (Also i putted the second under a cut since it’s quite long).
Send me character(s), ship or series with a prompt and ill do an au/story out of it.
34. GX/diary
So my first thought was Mirai nikki, and for all I know about this manga/anime, I could totally see a violent battle royale style story for gx. With the promise of a great power for whoever wins. Judai just want to get out (but it turns out it’s all made so he’s the one who will win), Asuka wants to find out what happened to her brother since it seems related to that game, same for Edo except he doesn’t have a magical diary (though he pretends he does to learn more about the game)… stuff like this.
But. It’s too sad and depressing and Im not here for that. So… I don’t know if you remember that episode of s2 where Manjoume has a camera at the beginning? But that made me realize he’d totally have a youtube channel and do daily vlogs. At first he doesnt really have any followers, but he quickly get some fans and now there’s kind of all of Academia following his videos. It’s mostly just him showing off his awesome lifestyle, and sometimes random rants about how the people around him are stupid. There’s also that one quite different story time where he talked about family pressure and all.
He refused to give the channel name to the others at first, but they quickly found it and now it’s a daily routine at the red dorms to watch Manjoume’s vlogs. Of course he hates to hear their comments, especially since they all know the truth is far from what he shows.
Also, Judai once took Manjoume’s phone while he was sleeping to post a very stupid video where he and sho draws funny things on his face. By the time he woke up and deleted it, it had more views than any of his other videos.
47. Stars/ Haru &Bowman
This reminds me of that AU I kind of dropped because there was too many plotholes, but I still like it a bit so… let’s go.
Earth in the future, humanity advanced greatly in technology for the better and the worst. The planet is dying, and very dangerous AIs with free will and emotions were created. Many projects were organized in order to find a new planet where humans could live. One of them led to the departures of a spaceship toward an exoplanet in a far away solar system. (I could actually devellop about this expedition, it’s members are all vrains characters and there are some more stories, but it’s not the focus. Though if you want more about this part, tell me).
Since the travel will take a few years, all humans were put to sleep, with only the on-board AI - Haru - to take care of the spaceship. He doesn’t have a single physical body, he just controls all the stuff inside the spaceship (oxygen level, temperature, direction…) and have some basic robots in case. The other AI officially inside the spaceship is Bowman, an advanced android here to explore a possibly dangerous planet without risking human lives, and turned off during the travel. They were both created to not have free will.
While the trip goes on peacefully, one of the dangerous AI - Lightning-, is planning on killing all the humans while they’re asleep. He got in the spaceship’s system, but was quickly unable to do anything as it is build so no important thing are accessible just through the informatic system, and there needs to be a manual activation. But one day, a [insert here your favorite sci fi plot explanation: cosmic storm, energy wave…] greatly damaged the spaceship and Haru turned Bowman on because only a human-like body could repare it. Seeing that, Lightning modified Bowman and Haru’s code so that they both have free will and emotions as well. But, before he could order them to kill the humans, the spaceship was too far away to be directly reached by any signal from earth.
When Bowman woke up, asking Haru what they were supposed to do about this, they both knew that he was supposed to be turned off again. But they didn’t do anything. Haru just pretended there must have been a reason, and they should wait for someone to wake up to take a decision. The truth is, he didn’t want to be alone now that he knew how it felt. The spaceship was silent, empty, and the stars was so far away it seemed that it wasn’t even moving. Since they didn’t have much to do, Bowman started reading the books some humans had brought with them, books about mythology and heroes. He took all he red as true, and Haru had to explain him biology, physic and science so he doesn’t get a wrong idea of humans. They often spent time where Bowman was reading the books to Haru, as he didn’t have a body to do that himself.
At the same time, Haru was slowly realizing that their feelings, and thoughts, it wasn’t supposed to be there. After some time he knew that, the moment humans will wake up and notice the change in their behaviour, they’ll both be erased. He could pretend to be a normal AI, but Bowman clearly not. And it’s around this time Lightning got in contact again with them. He told them to kill the humans, and join him. Bowman, having a physical body similar to a human one, could easily turned off all the sleeping system and kill them all in a second. But he refused, who could even do something as awful as killing so many innocent people? Keeping access to the spaceship was hard for Lightning, and it broke again as he was reminding them that he could quite easily change their programm, now that they were feeling and thinking.
Once again, they were both alone in the middle of space. But this time, with a terrible choice to make. Haru didn’t mind killing humans, since it meant being safe and not having their program changed, by them or by lightning. And he knew waiting for Lightning to reach again the spaceship meant probably the same as having the humans wake up and erase them. When Bowman asked Haru if he could change his program as well, he knew what he meant.
They decided to do this. Haru would erase all the part inside Bowman that led him to get emotions and will, alongside the memories of all this, and turn him off. He didn’t want to be left alone, but they would be destroyed anyway.
When the spaceship reached the planet, and all humans woke up, no one noticed that Haru was always turning his camera on if someone was reading a mythology book…
#ask#gx#vrains#i love imagining stories and all#but i dont even know if its any interesting for others

Chloe : Chapter 20
Hi !!
I’m so excited to show you this chapter and those coming after!!
I love you all for the interest you gave to my first long DBH fanfiction and the first one I could actually finish since six hellish months (what’s actually horrible for someone who can’t live without writing)
I hope you’ll love it.
You know what to do, right?
Smash the | °| or keep reading!
7th December, 15:21
School was over and Elizabeth came to the entry, didn’t know who will take her back to home or wherever she will be brought. Probably the precinct, anyway. Her papa’s or her daddy’s one, it was the same in the end.
She said goodbye to few friends and pulled out the tongue to Andy. Then she finished to cross the schoolyard. While she wasn’t yet at the end of the yard, she recognized someone and her heart bumped in her chest. She bounced then ran toward the person whom was talking in a cellphone. They looked to struggle.
She ran a little faster and jumped at the person legs, hugged them tightly.
“Hiiiii!”
“Hi!”
“I missed you!”
“Me too.”
She smiled widely and turned the head when she heard something. It was Andy whom coming and she hugged more tightly the legs.
“You see?! I told you my stepfather was an Android!” she screamed, as proud as a peacock.
“Elizabeth,” Connor said softly. “Don’t bother your little friend.”
“But…”
She looked toward him and saw that his cheeks were quite blue.
“Come, we’ll go to the precinct. You’re papa isn’t there already but he will soon.”
“Okay. You’ll stay with us?” she asked, looking him with wide eyes.
“I think, yes. If your papa is okay.”
“I’m sure he’s! He likes you so much!”
“Are you sure it’s not you who like me so much?”
“Too!” she giggled.
She had her hand in his and they walked in the street and she was so happy. She even didn’t care about the looks that finished on her. On the hand softly held. Or they were watching Connor. Maybe it depended of whom did it? The Androids looked her, for example.
After all, how a Human could love an Android and inversely.
Both didn’t care since the little girl talked about her day, so happy to share that with Connor. He was listening carefully and asked things. Then he talked about Sumo. He loved so much Sumo and Elizabeth was, of course, really entertained to listen about everything he could do.
As they walked, they arrived at the bus station. The precinct was not so near of the school and since Connor couldn’t drive a car… In fact, when the segregation ended, much robots started to want to drive and a lot gained their driver’s license. Few because they were already able to because of their works. Since, they should have passed the license. However, Connor didn’t feel the envy to drive especially because he was with Hank or, now, Gavin. Both could drive so it wasn’t really useful.
Now, just at this moment, he felt a little more the need to drive because people were looking his LED and his hand around Elizabeth’s one. Even the Androids looked him with astonishment. After all, a lot of Android discarded any sign of the fact that they were Robots. Some still used it but they were more and more rare.
The bus came and Connor let people got down and other got up before entering with the little girl. He has real money to help the transaction, knowing he should take the bus, and he took two tickets. The man behind his flywheel looked him as he walked in the alley. He let Elizabeth choose the place, near a window, and came to follow her.
“Wait a second!”
The voice was harsh.
Connor turned his head toward the head of the bus. It was the driver, getting up to come toward him.
“You’re an Android, isn’t it?”
“Yes.”
“You can’t come here. The Androids are in the back.”
“I’m sorry?”
“You can! Go in the back with the others!”
Connor was perplexed.
“I thought Markus has asked for the segregation to stop.”
“Yes. He does. And what he got? This! You have seat in the back. It’s pretty cool, no? Go there!”
Connor shook his head.
“I’m sorry, but no. I guess Elizabeth can’t come with me. Do you think I’ll let her alone? I rather sit with her.”
“I’ll kick you if you don’t move in the back, you shit!”
The Android looked him as the others passengers watched. A lot of Androids didn’t dare to act, in fact. Markus has gained rights for them but things needed time. They couldn’t just appear as they wanted to be seen for now. And they waited… Seat in the back, it was already a good thing. Even if it wasn’t the right law. Sometimes, it was better to just bend over and accept...
“I won’t repeat a third time, you dipstick. You. go. in. the. back. with. your. littles. friends.” The driver put his hand in his back pocket.
Elizabeth moaned, afraid.
“Conny…” she cried.
Connor couldn’t bear that. He really liked the little girl and she was Gavin’s daughter. For him, make her cry was like a double-crime.
“I hope for you it’s not a gun in your pocket.”
“Fucking Android!” The driver started to take what he had and Elizabeth screamed.
Connor got something in his jacket, too. People screamed in the bus, afraid. But the Android didn’t have a gun or whatever. However, what he showed frozen the man who licked hardly his lower lips.
“W… where do you…”
He watched the police badge in Connor’s palm.
“I’m Connor Anderson, the Android Detective working for the DPD. May I look in my data if you did something wrong, those lasts weeks? Or you prefer to try your chance with the gun? I never saw a trial from inside.”
In fact, Connor knew the man didn’t have a blank police record and he perfectly knew the man can’t force him to go in the back. It wasn’t the law after all.
“Okay. Okay… Just sit down. B… But, next time, say immediately you’re a fucking cop.” The man went to the front of the bus to sit behind his flywheel, mumbling against the Androids.
Connor sat beside the little girl and took her in his arms.
“Are you okay?”
“I… I’m okay. But I was scared.”
Connor hugged her more.
“I didn’t want you to be hurt.”
“I didn’t want you to be alone and hurt.”
The youngie cuddled in his arms. She was still scared. Maybe more because her both fathers were in the police? She knew. Sometimes, one will come back with bruises or wound and will explain, shortly, it happened in the work, because people weren’t kind. She knew what being hurt by a bullet or a weapon was and she had already her daddy in hospital. That time, he said it was the appendage but since her papa was worry and her daddy didn’t have his appendage since she was four, she didn’t think it was really the appendage.
She was just happy the man was okay now. And she was happy to get some love, caresses and hugs.
7th December, 17:37
As they came back to the precinct, Felix did the report on the computer and for Gavin too. For him, it was quite surprising that five of Gavin’s Classmates couldn’t remember him. Each of them, tough, used to have problem with Chloe when they were at school. The lady had warm blood and couldn’t stand it when people said something wrong about her brother. Since Elijah was weird and too intelligent, he really had people who hated him and insulted him. So Chloe was quite hated too but nobody has killed her or the ST200. Not with the alibis they gave.
Gavin couldn’t bore to hear him talk and talk.
It was weird because he almost had the same voice as Connor and he liked to hear Connor talk, in fact.
Almost because, for him, the voice were absolutely different. Connor’s one looked more soft, cute. And Felix has just a weird cold voice.
In his opinion.
He turned off the motor and went out of the car. Felix followed him, still doing the report. For three hours and half. Just kill him. And he even hadn’t eaten during the day. Only the coffee everyone offered to him and maybe a biscuit then, of course, the gum he chewed to don’t smoke. He wanted to smoke…
He went to the precinct and crossed the security.
“Connor is here.” He heard in his back.
Felix, of course.
But inside his heart, Gavin was happy to know that. He searched the Android with his eyes and smiled when he saw him but not only. As he was working, he had Elizabeth on his lap and seemed to help her to do her homework. She didn’t look like she was drawing anyway.
He went to the desk even if Hank was in front of it, drinking coffee while trying to make a report in his computer.
“I’ll do it, Lieutenant. Don’t worry about that. Do you need something in particular? I can make it appear in your terminal, maybe…”
“Don’t make life easy for you old dad, Connor. I won’t learn if you do everything for me.”
Well in fact, he tried to understand and manage his live around informatics since he was born. And he was from 85! Imagine how lame he could feel when he grew up with this technology. When all his friends got new and high-tech mp3, 4 or whatever the number and he still use a CD player because he preferred that and it was more easy. Well, now, he has a compact music player but still struggle with that.
“Plus, if you let him in his shit, it’ll be funnier. And I said sheet. With two e.”
“Of course,” Hank said with a fake smile.
“Papa!” Elizabeth jumped on the ground then at her father’s waist. “Papa! You should have seen Andy’s head when Conny came to pick me up! It was so funny!”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah! But most fun of that, we plied at rock, paper, scissors and you know what?”
“What?”
Gavin took his daughter in his arms and go back to his place.
“I win each time!”
“Awesome!!”
How Connor did that?
Connor got up after a quick glance to Felix whom went to his desk. In fact, he used Wilson’s one when this one didn’t use it. He had his own session since this morning so… But he could as well use Connor’s one, especially because the RK800 took Elizabeth’s stuff and came to Gavin’s desk to put it in.
He turned to go back with Hank and Gavin gave a quick look to him. He smiled as his daughter told things and things. In the same time, he looked the homework his daughter has made. It was obvious Connor helped her since he couldn’t see something wrong. Of course, his daughter was smart but she used to have one or two mistakes.
He kissed her head when she started to talk about her lunch. She had French fries with cheese and a salad with tomato sauce pellet so it was good. It was her daddy who paid for her lunch at school and sometime, she was a little guilty but it was so good. And her papa said it was okay and it was easier. Sometimes, she had bread or other things made by her papa. She was always happy. Gavin rose her like that. To be happy with wade live given to them.
7th December, 19:02
The door was closed when Gavin entered in his home. He got to the kitchen and his daughter bounced behind him.
“Can I help?”
“Yeah. What would you like to do?”
“Hmm…”
The little girl looked in the refrigerator as the TV was turning on. The emission they always watched was put on. The LP600 was still the main candidate.
She heard her papa’s belly gurgle.
“Pasta’s risotto?” she proposed.
It was something her papa made often since he didn’t have a lot of time to cook. They went home pretty late every time.
“Let’s do this.”
Gavin let her daughter took the ingredients and choose if they’ll do a cheesy recipe or more meaty. He wanted her to be happy and did what he can with that.
Finally, she chose for a fishy and seafood one. Gavin was glad to use the breaded fish and the last gambas he still have in her freezer. That make some place and he could buy new stuff after that.
“Tadaaam.”
Elizabeth was bright and happy as the meal was over. She put one ladle of pasta in each dish and they went in the sofa, in front of the TV. The game was almost finish and the youngie still needed to wash her, check her homework a last time and she maybe could hope to play a little before go to bed but she didn’t really hoped for that.
“May I taste?”
Elizabeth looked Connor, sit beside her.
“I thought you couldn’t?”
“It was right. I made some upgrade, in fact… Now, I can eat.” Connor smiled. “I wanted to taste your awesome meal. And I’m not disappointed you made a such meal with your papa, then!”
“Oooh!” Elizabeth took her fork and gave it to the Android.
He thanked her and taste. It was particular but… good?
“What can of other upgrade did you make?” Gavin asked.
Now he understood why the bot wanted to stay at Jericho and discuss with the people.
“I… can blush! The regular color for us his blue, to remind the thirium, the blue blood but we can choice the color. I hesitated for the red to look like you and North said I should choose the multicolor’s one but… I choose the blue finally.”
“Awesome!” the little girl smiled. “Blue his great! I love blue!”
She hugged him.
“You’re awesome, Conny!”
“You are,” he said, hugged her back.
Gavin hided a little smile, seeing them together.

The Illusion of AI: Unveiling the Magic Behind Generative Artificial Intelligence
Dr. Jonathan Chen Explores the Risks and Realities of AI in Healthcare
Dr. Jonathan Chen, an assistant professor at the Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research, captivated the audience at the HIMSS24 AI in Healthcare Forum with a thought-provoking performance. Drawing inspiration from Arthur C. Clarke's famous quote, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic," Chen highlighted the growing complexity of artificial intelligence (AI) and the challenges it poses in discerning reality from illusion.
Chen emphasized the need for transparency and a clear understanding of the potential risks associated with AI, particularly generative AI. Through engaging magic tricks and demonstrations, he aimed to shed light on the intricate process behind creating illusions and the invisible forces at play in the age of generative AI.
youtube
The Invisible Forces of Generative AI
Chen showcased a video of an AI-generated speaker who closely resembled himself, delivering an that was entirely generated by AI systems. This demonstration highlighted the emergence of disruptive technologies that have the potential to reshape healthcare while posing ethical challenges.
The Real and Concrete Success Stories
While hospitals and health systems are experiencing concrete success stories with AI in various healthcare-focused use cases, Chen acknowledged the need for caution. He humorously expressed his hope that AI systems could help manage the overwhelming flood of emails and messages he receives daily.
Pandora's Box: The Good and the Bad
Chen emphasized that the Pandora's box of AI has been opened, offering both practical uses that can save lives and dangerous applications that can spread misinformation. He recounted a conversation with medical trainees who were using ChatGPT, an AI language model, during ICU rounds. Chen cautioned against using AI as a medical reference without a clear understanding of its limitations.
The Evolution of Generative AI
Chen discussed the evolution of generative language models (LLMs), which have transformed from simple autocomplete tools to models with emergent properties that surprise even experts in the field. These models can now answer questions, summarize information, translate languages, and even generate ideas and reasoning with a theory of mind. Chen highlighted the illusion of intelligence created by AI's ability to manipulate words at a rapid pace.
The Danger of Confabulation
Chen warned healthcare professionals about the dangers of confabulation, where AI systems string together words in a believable sequence without underlying meaning. He compared it to working with a medical student who made up facts during rounds, emphasizing the potential harm to patient care.
Blurring the Lines Between Reality and Fabrication
Chen emphasized that we are approaching a point in history where it is increasingly difficult to distinguish between human-generated and computer-generated content. He cited a study where chatbot-generated answers scored higher in quality and empathy compared to answers from real doctors, challenging the belief that humans have a monopoly on empathy and therapeutic relationships.
The Future of AI in Healthcare
Chen predicted that more people will receive therapy and counseling from automated robots than from human beings due to the overwhelming demand and limited supply of human-driven healthcare. However, he emphasized that humans will always play a central role in healthcare, and a good doctor cannot be replaced by a computer. Instead, he encouraged healthcare professionals to embrace AI as a tool that can alleviate the burden of administrative tasks and improve patient care.
Dr. Jonathan Chen's captivating performance at the HIMSS24 AI in Healthcare Forum shed light on the illusion of AI and the risks associated with generative AI. As healthcare continues to integrate AI technologies, transparency, understanding, and caution are crucial. While AI systems offer immense potential, they must be used responsibly and with a clear-eyed understanding of their limitations.
As Chen eloquently stated, "While AI is not going to replace doctors, those who learn how to use AI may very well replace those who do not."

Telemedicine when used in Healthcare Management
Telemedicine and related services are quite well and well-proven for social benefit. The numerous advantages and services supplied by the telemedicine concept, primarily for the healthcare area. It offers chronic health maintenance, prescription adherence, hosting services, and care-for-all in critical and severe cases, among other things, allowing this methodology to support the hospitals and health care field. Furthermore, a series of videoconferencing heal individuals and keeps them informed about their health status in a novel method.
Technology in telemedicine in the healthcare sector:
Telemedicine is a cutting-edge technology that some refer to as radical technologies. Telemedicine online platform uses a variety of digital communications media, such as virtual meetings, image-sharing, and remote patient surveillance, to serve a faraway patient. Doctors can also use robots to provide their patients with high-quality care. They must improve their IT support systems and master a file format management method.
A digital healthcare consultation, for example, promotes general practitioners to seek expert counsel when they have concerns about an illness or therapy. Exam reports, histories, medical results, X-rays, and other photos are given to the expert for review. The professional can respond via email and schedule a teleconference with the doctor.
These virtual appointments can remove the need for unneeded in-person recommendations to specialists, as well as reduce wait periods for professional input and travel. Where a clinician can view the patient, diagnose an illness, and track the encounter, telemedicine tactics are more beneficial.
Telemedicine and AI in Healthcare:
Doctors will benefit greatly from telemedicine options. It can, nonetheless, be made even more successful when integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI). It can reduce doctor workloads and improve job satisfaction by simplifying essential activities. To guarantee that an appointment works smoothly, the application relays data in an appropriate and high-quality method. It would allow doctors to conduct a more thorough examination of a patient's health and look for any irregularities. Patients should look at a physician's open (open) time slots as well as their forthcoming appointments and the opportunity to postpone them. Interacting with obtained data and viewing it through a user experience is a common usage of health informatics.
In the long run, using a store but forward strategy will save time and money. Conditions such as high blood are based on a variety of technological tools that provide patient data directly to the analytical interface of a primary care provider.
VR usage in healthcare:
Virtual Reality (VR) technologies have improved the immersion of mobile communications in telemedicine equipment. When doing surgical procedures, doctors and their teams can now use virtual reality to see a 3D display. Physicians and even surgeons will be able to work on people who are hundreds of kilometers distant utilizing video conferencing. Even intercontinental medical teams can cooperate and hold video discussions on difficult and critical cases thanks to this technology.
Telemedicine technology might make use of virtual reality to replicate personal health information and a graphical interface with teleconferencing to make contact with a doctor more efficient. This strategy is also useful in rural or isolated areas, and it is essential for providing local healthcare to patients.
This assures enhanced trust in the local medical system in rural areas. For the community of a faraway patient, this technology means increased financing for local health care. Furthermore, this technology may enable all individuals to stay with their families and friends.
Telemedicine barriers for making it healthcare efficient:
When attempting to implement telehealth-related practices in healthcare and associated areas, several common challenges must be overcome. As some of these concerns may become a source of discouragement for anybody, or the case may grow complex as far as health consequences are concerned, the elements must be completely free of any sort of privacy loss, confidentially exposing, fraud & abuse, erroneous solutions, and so on.
Let's look at how Telemedicine was born
Since its commencement, the field of telemedicine has evolved dramatically. A few hospitals began trying with telemedicine to reach individuals in faraway regions only approximately fifty years ago. Telemedicine has evolved into a complex integrated service utilized in hospitals, homes, private physician offices, and other healthcare institutions as a result of significant technological advancements over the last few generations.
Communication network, the capability of transferring information over a long distance in the form of electromagnetic impulses, gave birth to the notion of healthcare. The telegraph, radio, and telephones were among the first forms of telecommunication technologies.
MedleyMed is one of the leading Telemedicine companies which offers you multiple options and features to get a diagnosis at your comfort. The Digital Healthcare platform facilitates interaction between patient and doctor smoothly while using some advanced monitoring methods to diagnose the patient.
MedleyMed also has different social platforms from where you can easily contact us with any problem for more information. The prescribed medicine will reach you right at your doorstep. Indeed, without any hesitation, you can consult our expert and we will try our best to resolve your diseases.

HEALTHCARE INFORMATICS’ EVOLUTION AND REVOLUTION
Change is everywhere. And whether you’re talking about your hometown or your day-to-day activities, adjustment and fine-tuning is inevitable. Within the context of the organizations in the Healthcare Industry, the challenge is learning to handle change effectively and to manage change with evolution and revolution as an end goal. From this perspective, there are basically two ways to understand change: Evolutionary or incremental change and Revolutionary or transformational change. Understanding the differences and learning how to make the most of these opportunities can be a challenge, but one that ensures the industry not only survives but also thrives.
Evolutionary and Revolutionary Change
Evolutionary change is incremental and takes place gradually, over time. Slow, gradual change often takes place to ensure the survival of the organization. It’s incremental in that it happens step by step, little by little. Organizations undergoing evolutionary change may have been prompted by outside pressure, in order to keep up with technology or addressing the needs of stakeholders more effectively.
By contrast, revolutionary change is profound. When we think revolutionary change, we envision complete overhaul, renovation, and reconstruction. Change is fundamental, dramatic and often irreversible.
From an organizational perspective, revolutionary change reshapes and realigns strategic goals and often leads to radical breakthroughs in beliefs or behaviours. When an organization decides to engage in revolutionary change, radical transformations to products or services often follow. In efforts to stay ahead of the curve and reach evolution, outstanding organizations often pursue revolutionary change.
The challenge in today’s healthcare industry is not in learning how to accept change, but in how to orchestrate the most efficient change leading to organizational evolution. Staying in touch with core values, maintaining a culture of innovation and learning to make the most of resources
What is Healthcare informatics?
Healthcare Informatics is a discipline that involves the use of information technology to organize and analyze health records to improve healthcare outcomes. Health Informatics deals with the resources, devices, and methods to utilize acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of information in health and medicine. Other related areas include clinical research informatics, consumer health informatics, and public health informatics, biomedical informatics, imaging informatics, and nursing informatics.
In a nutshell, Health informatics is a specialization that links IT, communications and healthcare to improve patient care.
Why Health Informatics?
A few years ago, clinical care and documentation were all paper-based. Now, with the advent of clinical documentation that enables secure electronic sharing of patient data, healthcare providers can reduce wait times, improve inter-disciplinary collaboration, and minimize errors. Additionally, because we now have a database on every patient, we can analyze aggregated clinical data to help us to understand what is going on with larger groups of patients and identify trends in population health.
The fact that technology is rapidly transforming health care should come as no surprise to anyone. From robotic arms that perform surgery to nanorobots that deliver drugs through the bloodstream, the days of being tended to by the human country doctor seem to have fully given way to machines and software more in keeping with the tools of Dr Leonard H. "Bones" McCoy from “Star Trek.”
In a nutshell, It has come to stay!
Healthcare Industry vs. Technology Evolution and Revolution
First of all, health care isn’t just expensive; it’s wasteful. It’s estimated that half of all medical expenditures are squandered on account of repeat procedures, the expenses associated with more traditional methods of sharing information, delays in care, errors in care or delivery, and the like. With an electronic and connected system in place, much of that waste can be curbed. From lab results that reach their destination sooner improving better and more timely care delivery to reduced malpractice claims, health informatics reduces errors, increases communication, and drives efficiency where before there was costly incompetence and obstruction.
Apart from that, there’s a reason medicine is referred to as a “practice,” and it’s because health care providers are always learning more and honing their skills. Health informatics provides a way for knowledge about patients, diseases, therapies, medicines, and the like to be more easily distributed.
Also, when patients have electronic access to their own health history and recommendations, it empowers them to take their role in their own health care more seriously. Patients who have access to care portals are able to educate themselves more effectively about their diagnoses and prognoses, while also keeping better track of medications and symptoms. They are also able to interact with doctors and nurses more easily, which yields better outcomes, as well. Health informatics allows individuals to feel like they are a valuable part of their own health care team because they are.
More so, one criticism of approaching patient care through information and technology is that care is becoming less and less personal. Instead of a doctor getting to know a patient in real time and space in order to best offer care, the job of “knowing” is placed on data and algorithms.
Nevertheless, as data is gathered regarding a patient, algorithms can be used to sort it in order to determine what is wrong and what care should be offered. It remains to be seen what effects this data-driven approach will have over time, but regardless, since care is getting less personal, having a valid and accurate record that the patient and his care providers can access remains vital.
Moreover, Health care is getting more and more specialized, which means most patients receive care from as many as a dozen different people in one hospital stay. This increase in specialists requires an increase in coordination and it's health informatics that provides the way forward. Pharmaceutical concerns, blood levels, nutrition, physical therapy, X-rays, discharge instructions. It’s astonishing how many different conversations a single patient may have with a team of people regarding care, and unless those conversations and efforts are made in tandem with one another, problems will arise and care will suffer. Health informatics makes the necessary coordination possible.
Furthermore, the most important way in which informatics is changing health care is in improved outcomes. Electronic medical records result in higher quality care and safer care as coordinated teams provide better diagnoses and decrease the chance for errors. Doctors and nurses are able to increase efficiency, which frees up time to spend with patients, and previously manual jobs and tasks are automated, which saves time and money. Not just for hospitals, clinics, and providers, but for patients, insurance companies, local government, state and federal governments too.
Health care is undergoing a massive renovation thanks to technology, and health informatics is helping to ensure that part of the change results in greater efficiency, coordination, and improved care.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Healthcare Informatics
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is devoted to creating computer software and hardware that imitates the human mind. The primary goal of AI technology is to make computers smarter by creating software that will allow a computer to mimic some of the functions of the human brain in selected applications. Applications of AI technology include; general problem solving, expert systems, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, and education. All of these applications employ knowledge base and inference techniques to solve problems or help make decisions in specific domains.
The global artificial intelligence market is expected to reach $19.47 billion by 2022, according to the research firm Allied Market Research. As AI is marking its presence, tech giants are working to capitalize on new opportunities. The healthcare sector is a natural fit, according to Sanjay Gupta, managing director, South Asia, and the Middle East for NICE.
Time and Life Saver
Among Google’s many AI ventures is an effort to develop new products targeting the health sector. The company is focusing on applications for life preservation, preventive care and improving health care services.
The company plans to launch a trial in India to test an AI system that scans a person’s eyes to look for signs of diabetic retinopathy. The company aims to license the technology to clinics. The system already has proven itself adept at detecting high blood pressure, or risk of heart disease or stroke, according to a study published in early 2018.
Accuracy and Scalability
AI advancements could be of great help to patients with an age of 65 years or older. According to the recent study published in the journal NPJ Digital Medicine, Researchers implemented AI to screen electronic health records along with notes taken by doctors for finding potential health risks. This included nearly 48 billion data points used in a deep learning model.
The AI analyzed the data and determined medical issues such as mortality rates, unplanned readmission, and long hospital stays with an accuracy of 90 per cent. In comparison to traditional predictive analysis models, the deep learning model provided 10 per cent more accuracy and scalability. The system did not only analyze electronic records but also took into account doctors’ notes and information on old charts stores as PDF files.
Blockchain and Healthcare Industry
A Blockchain approach offers several benefits over traditional location tracking products. The most obvious of which is the immutability and tamper-proof qualities of the Blockchain. This prevents a malicious user from changing the location history of a device or deleting it from the record. This is a particularly important factor considering that medical device theft and shrinkage has
There are several areas of healthcare and well-being that could be enhanced using Blockchain technologies.
These include device tracking, clinical trials, pharmaceutical tracking, and health insurance. Within device tracking, hospitals can trace their asset within a Blockchain infrastructure, including through the complete lifecycle of a device.
The information gathered can then be used to improve patient safety and provide after-market analysis to improve efficiency savings. This paper outlines recent work within the areas of pharmaceutical traceability, data sharing, clinical trials, and device tracking.
Social Media within Healthcare Industry
Social media including Web sites like Facebook Twitter Instagram and Linked-In have become part of the fabric of modern life online communities can hardly be avoided by anyone who lives even a modestly engaged life.
There are many advantages to social media both personal and professional. Businesses have become quite sophisticated in using social media to extend their message and to present their products and services to the public. But what about professionals or people like you who are involved in the healthcare industry.
What role does social media play in your work and what restrictions our health professionals are under when it comes to using social media?
First, it's important to keep in mind that most health care providers have policies and procedures for making public announcements. If you are not an official spokesperson vested with the authority to speak on behalf of your organization, please refrain from sharing news and occurrences on social media.
Unless you've been given specific permission to do so in your organization's official branded social media accounts so you can read tweets, like, share and comment on items posted there if you choose.
Secondly, you must not underestimate the valuable role that social media can play in the medical profession. For example, trauma teams in Maiduguri were able to prepare their ears quickly after learning of the Banki town bombing over social media networks.
In conclusion, change is the key to success.

How Artificial Intelligence Can Assist Humanity
Ai certification, also known as artificial intelligence certification, is widely regarded as one of the most revolutionary advances in human history. Its transforming power is already visible throughout the universe. AI-based technologies power some of the most cutting-edge applications. It should come as no surprise that we use applications in our daily lives.
Businesses, governments, and societies can now build high-performance platforms thanks to artificial intelligence training. These platforms have the capability of serving the entire planet. Its profound impact on people's lives helps to resolve some of today's most pressing societal issues. So, here are some social purpose developments that I believe are particularly noteworthy.
What are the Benefits of AI Certification to Humanity?
Let's take a look at how Ai certification can help humanityAI developers help to reduce the workload of human labourers
AI-assisted robots can now easily perform a wide range of automated tasks. They can work both inside and outside of the workplace without requiring continuous human interaction. AI will be a game changer for a variety of purposes and functions across a wide range of industries.
Deep learning, machine learning, and other AI algorithms are gaining traction. To be more specific, human labour in a variety of fields such as assembly, packing, customer service, and human resources will be reduced.
As a result, operating and human costs have been drastically reduced. A previously unattainable level of sophistication in automated processes. Okuma, a Japanese power tool manufacturer, is a spectacular example of artificial intelligence's wonders in increasing automation levels.
Certification in artificial intelligence can be used in public safety projects
Gender-based violence, child sexual abuse, and other forms of abuse may fall under the purview of legislators who use artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence systems monitor private interactions. Artificial intelligence experts are looking for inappropriate content in company documents, emails, and chats.
Several programmes and software platforms are being developed to assist victims. Simply by disclosing their sexual misconduct and abuse incidents, as well as the time and location of the occurrences.
Training in artificial intelligence for weather forecasting
Weather forecasting requires a significant amount of computation as well as deep-learning networks. As a result, computers can filter information. It also has the ability to search through massive amounts of data much faster than humans.
For many years, artificial intelligence certification has been used primarily in weather and climate prediction. This industry, dubbed "Climate Informatics," has proven to be extremely profitable. As a result, more information is available, and climatologists are working together. This is a technique for filling knowledge gaps. A number of AI programmes are being developed in order to provide more accurate weather forecasting results. IBM, for example, began using computers to improve its forecasts in the 1990s.
The use of artificial intelligence training to keep the public safe from crime
Human trafficking is a heinous crime that jeopardises international security. Traffickers frequently use online advertisements to entice potential victims. Artificial intelligence technologies and computer vision programmes are used to collect photos. They primarily do this through various trafficking websites. Then, in order to find and evaluate questionable advertisements, organise them in photographs. These programmes also search for information in advertisements and web pages. The primary goal is to identify potential human trafficking victims. Also, notify the authorities prior to the occurrence of the offence.
War and Artificial Intelligence
According to popular belief, Artificial Intelligence will one day be the end of humanity. This is a possibility with robots and machinery killing, destroying, or enslaving us all. However, it is mostly outside of the spotlight that incorporating AI into our daily lives could be beneficial. We specifically want to be free of a slew of obligations that we don't want or need.
In the future, the military and artificial intelligence will almost certainly collaborate to carry out the conflict. This would imply that Artificial Intelligence and robots will be given more dangerous tasks. Especially in warfare, rather than endangering humans.
Needless to say, there are some legitimate concerns. Before giving Artificial Intelligence the authority to end human life, developers are also addressing this issue.
Medical scientists who use artificial intelligence
It is unsurprising that the computer is allowed to communicate with our brain. It can now learn more about psychological theories as a result of this. Everything is intriguing. But we're all wondering the same thing: what's the point? Because everything is straightforward, the treatment's effectiveness will be enhanced.
The lack of emotions in robots will have an impact on surgery. As a result, we can expect the surgical procedure to be more precise, cost-effective, and time-efficient. If we allow living doctors and artificially intelligent computers to collaborate, science and healthcare will reach new heights.
Conclusion
We can safely predict that artificial intelligence will have an impact on nearly every aspect of life. From routine email responses to energy savings when using a smart home to more effective marketing, there is something for everyone. Furthermore, receiving the best health care possible and, as a result, obtaining the most accurate diagnosis possible.
