FTS -
Either A) A moment just past realized devastation of losing someone most important, and tears streaming down their faces, thankful that they're both still alive.
Or B) Very similar to A except - it's this moment of a crippling release of emotion when they meet back up after an incredibly stressful time apart. Tears streaming down their faces as they kiss, desperately holding one another.
I foresee great tragedy in both the past and the future of this fic. And I AM FREAKING HERE FOR IT! </3
The North
Both? Both! The first one isn't technically a kiss...but it could be considered a spoiler ;)

Ermmm so about the whole "don't expect a lot of art from me" bit
I lied. Go read @thescarletnargacuga's "The Bull" fic NEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
("The Bull"/"The Abstraction" is actually a pretty important character in this AU. I am not kidding, you'll all know eventually, I've been hiding some characters from the roster and The Bull is one of them. I've also been telling Scarlet a little bit more about this AU, and she had the idea to make a dream sequence involving The Bull and I am IN LOVE WITH THE SONGFIC.)
Okay but in all seriousness though, THIS is the last art dump you'll expect from me for a while so enjoyyyy :3 I couldn't help myself with these, the artstyle is SO easy to learn, and so much fun to try and imitate.
Once again thanks to Scarlet for writing such good fics for this AU! Y'ALL BETTER THANK HER TOO SHE'S BEEN FEEDING THE LOT OF US SUCH GREAT CONTENT

I've gotten good at leaning on metaphors
I've gotten good at living on someone else's page
I cut my teeth on secondhand sentiments
You can't trust a single thing I say
The crows in the garden are laughing at my expense
Drowning out all the lies that I might have told instead
I keep my closet free of skeletons
'Cause I'm much better at digging graves
But I always dig up bones in your sympathy
I can't trust a single thing you say
I light torches in my sleep
I have gasoline in my veins
I am always burning, burning, burning
And I know that you mean so well
But I am not a vessel for your good intent
I've grown a mouth so sharp and cruel
It's all that I can give to you, my dear
Don't look too hard, 'cause you won't like the scars he left in me
I'm afraid
Is this a bunker or a shallow grave?
Send me anywhere, take me out
I'm the well they're gonna drag you down
I am a falling axe
I am a sharpened knife
I am a poison asp
I am a risk to your life
I am a swinging bat
Tumbling dynamite
I am the beast at your back
You better run for your life
I will only break your pretty things
I will only wring you dry of everything
You gotta know that this won't last
Desperation will erase the fact I'm keeping all
Of the answers in my cigarette box
I've gotten good at making up metaphors
I've gotten good at stretching the truth out of shape
And all these words are sweet and meaningless
My darling, the devil knows my name
But if you're fine with that
You can be mine like that
"Metaphor", “Tongues and Teeth", “The Garden”, “The Wolf", “Hollow Moon” and “The Well” by The Crane Wives
Sometimes I wonder if The Crane Wives have watched Deep Space Nine...

Commission for @acliptika
Really loved working on this one. This piece is based off a scene from @acliptika 's fanfic. How cool is that?!

Death’s Wish
Like everyone else in the movie, Death had a wish, not with the Star but still a wish. That being to get kill off Puss for his arrogance and wasting his 8 lives.
His whole beef with Puss isn’t because of him having 8 lives but more so how he took them all for granted. Though while he hated Puss did that, at the same time I don’t think he truly hated Puss.
When he first got introduced, he was complimenting Puss on his whole legend. It’s clear despite his disappointment with him, he still had respect for Puss. Even though he may have not been very careful with his life, doesn’t mean he just wasted his time. It’s clear he’s been watching Puss very carefully and for all the foolishness he saw, he’d must’ve also seen Puss’s bravery, heroism and overall living with value and passion! Living like a LEGEND!
He didn’t hate Puss, he hated the wasteful lives Puss was living like.
He wasn’t just angry just Puss was wasting his lives, it was because he knows Puss should’ve lived better! If his deaths involved dying giving it his all in a great battle or heroic sacrifice, that’d be a much different story but a lot of them were easily preventable and a result of Puss’s arrogance and carelessness, no wonder he was mad! He genuinely saw Puss as a respectable legend and was angry how he wasn’t fully living up to that! He wasn’t just throwing his lives away, he was throwing himself away, the cat who became the legendary Puss in Boots in the first place!
He didn’t have to give Puss his sword back or any of those chances to evade him, but he still did and was even happy when Puss stopped running and decided to face him. He could’ve ended everything back then in the Tavern but he didn’t, he even gave that chance back then and even now! He didn’t want Puss to just give up. And deep down he didn’t want to just give up on Puss.
Even though he seemed mad, he didn’t get to kill that arrogant mortal who thought he was immortal that Death had viewed Puss, in a way he did. Deep down, I don’t think he truly wanted to kill Puss but more so kill the way Puss was living his final life. Or atleast give him a final chance to get his life together. Deep down, he didn’t want to kill the Legend, he wanted to bring him back!
Because of his presence, it forced Puss to reevaluate how he’s been living and realize his mistakes, improve himself, get back up and be the legend he knows he is, now fully appreciating his life and the amazing things and people in it like Kitty and Perrito.
Just how everyone else tried so hard to get their wish but realize they may have already had it or didn’t need it. Death got his as well. He helped kill off the old Puss he hated and helped Puss live up to the true legend he knows he should be!
