Probably Alex Fierro from Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard; seeing a genderfluid and queer person who kicked ass while being iconic, GODS. He's unapologetically herself, and I used to do pottery and still have my garrote somewhere around. Seeing that kind of rep by my favourite author? I was crying.

Moonlit; are you a neat or messy person? Is your room/house orderly?

Okay, so the main living spaces are cleaned every day. My room is a mixed bag though, but I'm trying to keep it clean; just spent probably 10 hours over the course of 2 days cleaning it cuz I was tired of it just being... chaotic. Right now it's clean - just my two storage things to organize through now - and I'm going to try and keep it that way.

In short; I'm trying to be neater.

Does anyone in the Rejuvenation community care about this daganropa fan game like I do? I know that Rejuvenation has some moments inspired by daganronpa but that doesn't mean everyone here is a fan. I really like Project Edens Garden because none of the characters seem basic or expendable or annoying like certain members of the official daganronpa cast. I've been interested in this character Diana Venicia for a while now and I'm really glad to be seeing her get more character development at the end of chapter one. Now that I think it though, she kind of reminds me of Paragon Belial. Just a little bit. (Belial is the interceptor oc made by @pokefangamebrainrot look up their story Interceptor of Team Xen it's very cool.)

mica. what a fun character honestly, there is sooo much you can do with them. the closest thing we have to official confirmation of an apprenticeship. mini slate, mini engineer, mini firestarter

i love the model rocket (shoutout to xen-42’s mod that puts an fpv camera on it). its so much. how much they love what they do to be making functional space ships at an age around moraine (in my head this is less than hatchling and hal but more than tephra galena). how capable they already are, probably better at fixing ships up than any of the astronauts. a little about how close they are with slate.

it’s so interesting to me to think of another mini slate, someone who loves the rockets and science of it all without actually wanting to go to space. they make it sound like they’re super super excited to see your launch, but only for the launch itself, and not because you’re going into space. not that they wouldn’t be interested, of course, there must be some interest there to motivate making the rocket instead of working on other kinds of machines. theyre the clearest “next in line” out of any of the hearthians.

i bet they’d be a dangerous prankster. like one to elevate the game. they’re young, able, and capable, with none of slate’s prank wisdom that comes from decades of yanking people’s chains. rutile is worried about all the fires that owv starts, but they aren’t worried enough about all of the windows mica’s going to break. i don’t think they’d be a wild child, nothing seems to imply that, but boy would they be influenced by slate. in fact, i bet slate would egg them on to do the (safer) pranks. i bet they bounce ideas off of each other in a mentor-mentee way.

What evidence is there for HL3 being Ep3 and not another standalone game like HL:Alyx?

so we actually have a plethora of quite varied evidence that the current Half-Life title is a direct narrative continuation from Half-Life 2 Episode Two's ending -- firstly, here's some quotes from oldheads at Valve on the future of the Half-Life franchise post-Alyx:

here's Phil Co in The Final Hours of Half-Life Alyx:

This ice has been broken, now we're hoping to smash through the ice completely. We're not afraid of Half-Life no more.

and Gabe Newell in Half-Life 2: 20th Anniversary Documentary:

The ending of Half-Life Alyx is somewhat a self-critical realization, so that was super satisfying and all credit to the people who were specifically involved in that decision and those sets of designs. I think Half-Life represents a tool we have and promises made to customers to capitalize on innovation and opportunities to build game experiences that haven't been involved previously, and I think there are no shortage of those opportunities facing us as an industry right now

so they're definitely intent on pushing the story forwards and not being stuck in the same creative rut they have been with Half-Life. to me, this is a pretty simple way to say "hey, yeah, we're working on it," but i get why this isn't a convincing answer to the question you've given me, so here's a little more.

all of Valve's games on Source 2 share a codebase, which makes it easy for them easier to build the way Valve makes their games; because of this each new update to all Source 2 games made by Valve will have some kind of reference to another Valve project, in or out of development, including many to the current Half-Life 3 project. some of those strings include references to manhacks, Xen, HEV suits, headcrab zombies, and, most crucially, crowbars. we also know that Valve elected not to use the crowbar as a weapon in Half-Life Alyx specifically because they didn't want to generalise the crowbar as representational of all Half-Life games -- just Gordon specifically -- this is reflected in the ending of Half-Life Alyx, even.

beyond that, i don't know if you've played Alyx or watched a playthrough or anything but uh... if you have, it's incredibly clear what Half-Life project they're working on next lol. to be honest, it's even a stretch to call Alyx a "standalone title" imo. even though it's a prequel in the timeline, it is narratively a successor to Episode Two and a prelude to Half-Life 3. Alyx expects you to have played Episode Two before playing it, it literally TELLS YOU the ending of Episode Two to establish this, because it's narratively relevant even to a version of Alyx that it hasn't happened to yet.

As an extra bit of a thank you, a writing progress update yap

APAF and BW are currently still on hiatus. Brain has not brained and due to outside influences any time i think about it, all motivation vanishes. Not even attempted chapter planning had any success so it's a real struggle at the moment. (Shoutout to that one ass on wattpad earlier this week that was leaving hate comments and tried to claim it as "innocent frustration towards the characters actions and thoughts" and not my writing. I hope the universe gives u the life u deserve) I'm too stubborn to abandon them so even if it takes 10 years. They will stay on hiatus until i have enough pre-written to start posting again. Current goal is 5 arcs (there are 15 arcs in total still remaining) for APAF and BW fully finished (3 chapters) but with 0 combined words written....it may take a while and for that im genuinly sorry to the people who are waiting on an update for those

In better news:

For the first time in 3 months I finally managed to write a whopping 800 words for a new one shot Careful What You Wish For. Shout out to that trash Lilo And Stitch remake for the glorious angst it spawned in my brain. I wont make any promises on when ill post again (as any posting is connected to APAF and BW progress) but once im actually done with it ill color it orange in my wip masterlist. Once its actually posted ill color it in with its corresponding fic length color with a link too, as will all other stories i made on the side

I also have a new wip for DPxMonsterHigh (VISP: Very Important Scaritage Project) in a way I've never seen before (aka my favorite type of wip to make). Let me just say I am beyond proud of the lore i made for this au and i genuinly cant wait to share it. Im still working on making my final pre-writing notes but im also planning a mini comic that spoils a main plot point at the same time so do please look forward to that. I'll be able to share the final panel of the mini comic before the story released but the precursors will need to wait until the posted chapters are at that point (shout out to xen for coping with the severe levels of yap this thing has caused and with the combined effort of karra as well for helping with the hell that is this mini comic)

I mentioned some months ago in a comment on here that i would have Astray done by summer. I have that fic now fully planned out to start writing as well as an accompanying mini comic but i have yet to have any spoons for the actual tippy tappying or arting for it. Its not much of a progress update but know that i am just trying to fix the severe spoon shortage before writing can start

I have tried to work on Let The Wind Carry Your Call as well as The Game Of Family (check out the art i did make in case anybody is interested) but both of those are currently stuck at the part that covers Jason's death and ya gorl does not have the emotional stability to handle that atm. Overall very little progress but still progress nonetheless

The Curse Of Afterlife has been mentally fully plotted but my notes are still incomplete. The ability to cross off a plotpoint/scene is what had been helping as of late so im trying to stick to that structure

Not only did i finish fully plotting and chaptering Phantom Guardian, it now has a yet to be named sequel that is halfway planned out. I want to wait with calling PG1 ready to start writing in case details in PG2 will require retconning the current plot but it is nearing completion and awaiting available spoons

I hope this counts for something so rest assured, when I return to posting, there will be loads of new stuff for you all to enjoy. 📜: Ooo, that’s a good ship! I too would love to have that Foldmersible parked somewhere wayyyyyy off the beaten path as a retreat/bnb situation. My very-closely-tied second answer to this question, would be the Consector’s flagship. There was a detail that Xen dropped, describing the “herringbone crosshatching” way the oar-like projections cut-up its contrail in S1E11 that lives in my head rent-free, and I wish was real.
