Until I actually walk through my fears, until I face them and let them pass over me and through me, I will not understand that fear is an illusion. Once I have done it, I can see that the fears are not real, and that, even though those fears are completely limiting and paralyzing, they are actually nothing

 

Take back control of your life. Be in a space of free will and empowerment rather than in a space of being a victim to your own negative ego. Make the choice to face your fears. You can take them on one at a time. But do it, and put yourself back in the driver’s seat.

Pick one fear, and face it. If you do this every day, maybe your negative ego will run out of things to make you afraid of. Or maybe you will just stop paying attention, because you will have internalized the fact that your fears are not real.

The end of the handle of the Big Dipper: The visual binary system of Mizar and Alcor to the upper left and to the right bright Alkaid shines. Forming an equilateral triangle to the south of those stars is a faint smudge: M101, the Pinwheel Galaxy some 23 million light years distant.
