Biography

Since he was very young, in his small town in Brazil, Roberto Davina was the girl’s favorite. Maybe it was his confidence or sense of humor, maybe he was just handsome, but Boto was never alone. His mother always told him to be responsible and don’t play with people’s feelings, reminding him he didn’t want to be like his father. Like he had any choice. On his 18th birthday, that’s when it happened. Boto partied all night and watched the sunrise by the river after the after party. But as the sun touched his skin, he felt out of breath, dizzy and awkwardly dropped from the docks into the water. He immediately felt better but looking at himself he realized he really was his father’s son. Boto, son of the pink dolphin, a pink dolphin himself. He adapted himself to the new life, underwater during the day, partying at night and slowly learned to control his transformation. And that’s when he met the prettiest girl he’s ever seen. Bianca was his dream girl and he did everything he could to make her happy, and eventually she got pregnant. Boto promised himself he’d be a better father than his, but before the baby was born his girlfriend found out that he was a pink dolphin and broke up with him. About a month later she got engaged to someone else and moved away, making sure Boto would not be part of their kid’s life. Frustrated and heartbroken, Roberto moved to Henrietta and got a job at the bar, a house by the river and a new beginning, deciding to never fall in love again. Unfortunately his luck with women seems to have abandoned him in this new life.

Biography

Hayden has always wanted to belong to something more than just a lake. The life of a shape-shifting water horse got boring after a while and curiosity of humans began to take over. Clothing had always been a fascination with the kelpie. To Hayden, clothes were just another part of their form. But to humans, it was a way to stay warm, express themselves, and or show their wealth. It didn't take long for Hayden's curiosity to become an obsession. The kelpie took under the wing of an elderly seamstress who needed a hand around her shop. Once Hayden mastered their craft, they set off to learn more. Hayden traveled the world with what they earned, making sure the towns or cities they lived in was near some source of water.

After a couple of decades, Hayden found traveling rather lonesome. The human company was difficult to keep due to their nightly need to return to the water in their true form. But eventually, Hayden found a friend just as otherworldly as themself. Dianthus was a fae with an affinity for flowers, books, and travel. The kelpie and the Fae shared a love of learning about human culture and knowledge. They traveled together for a while before parting ways. The two did their best to keep in touch, sometimes bumping into each other and playing catch up. With the turn of the 21st century, Hayden found the invention of the email godsend. Hayden found themself living in new york for a time, they could relate to the everchanging fashion. Hayden went through fashion programs to get official proof of their almost 2 centuries of fashion knowledge and culture. The kelpie is currently working on starting up their own all-inclusive fashion line. Inspired in part by Hayden's shapeshifting form but also the LGBTQ+ Community where the kelpie quickly felt at home.

Hayden had heard of Henrietta through their fae friend Dianthus. Apparently it was a place where many magical creatures called home. Needing a change of pace to work on their line, Hayden decided to pay their friend a visit.
