Another sugar craving, another day at the coffee house. He let the momentum pull him downhill, wondering if there would be any black forest cakes today. He was usually more fond of spicy cuisines, but it seemed no one could avoid sugar cravings on any other day either. He counted his steps, and came to halt, knowing the coffee house was exactly to his left right across the road. He jogged towards the glass door and opened it, the bell chiming like it had always been ever since he moved to this place.

Error: Technical Difficulties

I guess this is just more for the tumblr people who actually talk to me. I am posting this from the computer at school, where I can actually friggen type. Having some sorta issue with my keyboard and/or mouse, which makes it nigh impossible to accomplish anything. Hoping it's just a minor firmware glitch that I can fix easily, but I probably won't be around really until it is fixed. Or, I might have skype running, but not be able to answer you because attempting to do so will make me perform a motherfucking acrobatic pirouette off the handle because that is how difficult doing anything is with it, right now. So I shall update here when all is well...or to say it's not.

She licks Aquene's hand and then trots over to the equalist's motorcycle. Then she jumps on top of the seat and sits, her tail wagging and her tongue hanging from her mouth.

Aquene blinked. “Hold it, girl. You wanna go for a ride?” Spirits, that couldn’t be right,could it? Since when did wolves want to go on bike rides? She stopped her train of thought for a second. Okay, since did wolves come up to her, snuffle her hand and then move to her satocycle?

Sky

Training had finally ended for the day and Korra decided to hang outwith her friend Chikko, who happened to get off work early. It hadbeen quite some time since the two friends hung out together.  Korrahad been training nonstop, learning new airbending techniques,focusing on getting spiritually stronger with the Avatar State, andbalancing a social life with all her friends. The agenda was set forthe two friends that they would catch dinner over in Republic City atNarooks, then hop on the ferry back on Air Temple Island to gostargazing at Chikko’s suggestion. Korra always went stargazing backhome over at the Southern Water Tribe, counting the stars, and evenmaking wishes on the falling ones. It was such a childish notion, butit was one of her favorite childhood memories.

Korra had met up with Chikko in Republic City at Narooks where theyhad dinner as planned. Then proceeded to head over to Air TempleIsland and begin their star gazing adventure. She had remembered oneof the best spots to see the stars was topside of the mountains at thetemple. Korra had remembered wandering off to find some solitude sometime ago, when she had thought she was the worst Avatar ever, nothanks to Tarrlok, calling her a half-baked Avatar in training. She’scome a long way, now being a fully realized Avatar. She was gratefulfor her friends’ support in her abilities as well as for just beingthere.

Finally arriving at their destination, Korra turned to Chikko asking,“So what do you think? Isn’t this gorgeous?” The sky was a bold,midnight color, perfect for star gazing. Not a cloud in the sky wasvisible, only the million stars that streamlined it. The stars shinedso brightly that one could paint a picture and capture its beauty.“Korra, t-this is amazing.” she stated.  Thanks to some friends inRepublic City, Korra managed to borrow a telescope to be able to seethe stars clearly. She thought Chikko would take a joy at getting acloser look at the stars.

She turned to the earthbender girl who helped herself to the telescope. “I see many stars, but I c-can s-identify, the Big Dipper, yo-u know the seven stars put together, brightest stars in the sky.” Korra smiled, impressed, saying,”Really? Wow, Chikko you really know your constellations. Let me take a look.” She looked into the telescope and saw clearly that there were seven stars aligned brightly together. “You’re right Chikko, it is amazing.”

Suddenly, out of the blue, the sky began lighting up,there were over a million meteors raining down from one point. Korra turned to Chikko, who seemed completely in awe of the meteor shower. “Chikko you knew this was going to happen today didn’t you? Why didn’t you tell me?” she asked.

Chikko replied, “I wanted it to be a surprise. That’s why I opted to go stargazing. Air Temple Island has a perfect view of the sky and why not share this moment with a friend.”

Nodding her head, smiling, “Well, Chikko, I love it and thank you for putting this together. Chikko smiled and replied, “You’re welcome.”

The earthbender doesn't say a word. She wasn't convinced with his words and he made her feel like a burden. It was one of the reason she had begun drinking so frequently lately. She was only a burden to everyone, a simple homeless girl that if killed today would never be remembered or missed and that fact depressed her. Without a word she wobbles after him.

Jet continued his walk, heading for the town's inn- run by a small family but that's what made it rather cozy to stay in. Jet had stayed there for a few months when his wound was in it's worser stages, his home hard for the healer to reach- much less find, so the lovely couple had allowed him to stay at their inn, considering all the good deeds he has done for them; finding them food, supplying them with clothes, even spending time to help them build what is now their inn with the help of the other Freedom Fighters. Jet was willing to bet that before the war was over, that the Chang family was the only family to stand behind the Freedom Fighters. Their connection strong since a recent fire consumed their two youngest children, they could relate.

The walk was tedious on Jet's end, occasionally turning around to make sure Chikko was safe and now laying on the floor paces back. Eventually after a few buildings, he caved turning back to walk along side Chikko as they approached the inn.
