i think i discovered this song on one of those world radio apps. it's Rüyalarda Buruşmuşum (I Got Wrinkled in Dreams) by the Turkish band Adamlar. i don't speak turkish, and i am not turkish. i just really love this song and i'm barely grasping at the one translation available online :)

i'm learning about the not-scientifically-backed art of fbi profiling right now for a hannibal fic i'm writing. i've read mindhunter by the douglas man himself, but i far enjoy ann burgess's a killer by design which was written by one of the people on the original fbi profiling team OTHER than douglas.

edelweiss: how'd you think of your url/username? what's it associated with to you?

i have always liked french. the way it looks. which is where the -toure comes from. but the nova comes from supernovas which i think i only just learned about when i made my tumblr acc in my wee old middle school days. what i'm saying is i chose something random and now i'm stuck with it and tbh i don't mind i could've picked worse! I don't know if it's asking if I can only watch 3 movies or in general 3 movies I never get bored of but, but first three that came to mind for the latter:

30. what’s one thing that never fails to make you happy/happier?

thunderstorms, snowfall, a warm bath, any downtime where I can spend time with my partner and not have responsibilities looming amongst the shadows

soooo many but to name a few: littering, making a mess in public and not caring because "someone else will clean it up/it's not my job", lawns, performative allyship especially wrt pronouns, not paying attention to pedestrians while driving a vehicle, being condescended/talked down to, misspelling/mispronouncing someone's name and not trying or caring to correct it

not usually an individual song kind of person but last few days I've listened to "the sick are not healing" by i, parasite on my walk to school

7. Is there a character or ship you'd love to write for, but haven't yet? - tbh not really? probably pretty boring but will/hannibal gives me a lot to work with and they are fun to write

Share a favourite comment a reader has left you. - there are soooo many i don't think I can pick and choose. so many comments really sit with me and I think about them all the time, and I reread comments constantly bc they are so amazing to to receive. but as a broad category ig, I love comments that are like "this made me cry/emotional/xyz" because it means I conveyed something well and created an emotional response in the reader which is everything

18. What's your most used additional tag? - according to ao3, "kissing", and "biting" is in second place lol

32. What's a fic you'd love to write, but probably never will? - does finishing my one abandoned fic count? because if so then that one lmao. if not then any fic idea i have that I feel will be really long/a lot of investment because i don't have the time to start and finish a really long fic :(

i don't write or highlight in my books and i prefer a bookmark/scrap of something instead of folding the pages. it was drilled into me as a kid not to do that because it damaged the book (the dog-earing at least) so i never picked up the habit. i also don't read in the bath and never have because i have butter fingers and horry i'd ruin it :( but if its your own book, you can do whatever you want to it! books are meant to be enjoyed!
