Tribute to strong female characters in the world of SJMAAS - Fave leading lady. Both of her series are full of standout female characters but the two that are my favourite are absolutely Amren and Lysandra. They are intelligent, fierce and loyal. Challenge Day: I belong to the Night Court, or rather the Court of Dreams. Velaris is one of my favourite fictional cities and I am in love with their appreciation of art, music, food, books and community. Their infinite ability to love and their acceptance all add to the grace of the Night Court. I think of all the fae I've encountered in that beautiful world I would not mind the ability to fold time and space and pop in different places. There is a very good chance that when I'm not exploring with my very own Court of Dreams I would be lost in a bookshop or library after hours. Or maybe the ability to shapeshift. I must say, I don't know if I could resist suddenly changing into a dragon, or like Lysandra, a great feline beast. The allure of having wings and riding those air currents to places unknown calls to the adventurer in me. I am eagerly anticipating the release of A COURT OF WINGS AND RUIN by @therealsjmaas (6 more weeks but who's counting?) and had the great pleasure of teaming up with Meredith @pinkbookmark for this photo challenge.
