Health literacy and health advocacy are so important especially if you are a woman or BIPOC. Ask as many questions as you need to until you understand all the information. Bring someone with you if you need to. Don't be afraid to get a second or even third opinion. Listen to your body since you are the expert. Do your own research using reputable sources, not Google please. Consult as many experts as you need to until you feel secure with the results. No one can advocate for your wellbeing the way you can. Medicine isn't a perfect science and some things take time to get them right. I can sometimes see how people work and my friends often ask me for advice as i often know how things workout.
