✨lewis hamilton’s most underrated mclaren drives ✨
(with special dedication to: @l8tof1 & @sirlew44)
did a lil’ rewatch over the break and wanted to do a post about some of lewis’ most underrated wins/drives in f1 over the years; i realise that there are a lot of them and so i decided to split and do a post for his mclaren days and another one for his mercedes years.
a few words of introduction:
the thing about watching mclaren lewis and why it’s just such a privilege, is that this boy is special; babyfaced rookie picked from the crèche by ron dennis and who was told he’d be half a second off nando’s pace and that he shouldn’t worry, wasn’t just hungry he had something to prove, he will nawt be a second driver even if it’s to the reigning 2x world champion who has just come from beating THE michael schumacher, basically babes wasn’t having it and he put the fear of god into these drivers…and ron dennis (say what you want about that that man, but you can’t deny, he really girlbossed that one thing; giving lewis a car that was capable of winning, was a choice™️, but a very good one and we thank him for that); mclaren lewis is special because he’s hungry, he’s raw and fast, very fast, sometimes too fast and too reckless, but he’s learning, and when you watch these races and these seasons you see him learn and grow and change; all these seasons are different, but those mclaren years are just as important for the lore and who he is now and to witness the evolution of both the driver and the man is truly special; so this small collection of drives is a bit of a crème-de-la-crème if you will of those races that i think aren’t as mentioned in the pantheon of great lewis drives as much as i think they should, so let us begin:
fuji 2007 🇯🇵 aka the first rain dance of og bald baby mclazza rookie lewis, stunting on hoes since ‘07
people keep talking about silvo 2008 (and rightly so) but this one is a bit of a forgotten wet-weather masterpiece; talk about artistic sublimity, this is the racing sublimity of one 22-year-old rookie lewis hamilton; baby lewis was holding off his reigning world champion of a teammate absolutely majestically in torrential conditions, and executing the race and the restarts to perfection (race is also chaos personified so brilliant to rewatch). baby lew became a bit of a headache for the establishment™️ and one fernando alonso and it’s fun to watch.
germany 2008 🇩🇪aka mclaren pitwall terrorising baby lewis (the horrors started way before merc)
a race overshadowed by his brilliance in silverstone two weeks earlier (suffering from success and having consecutive masterclasses amirite), but it’s nearly as brilliant; this is lewis vs massa + the mclaren pitwall deciding to gamble with some fuckass strategy and leaving lewis out for a safety car restart, lewis having to pull massive gaps, driving the wheels of that mp4-23 and then overtake from p5 to take the lead; some brilliant overtakes and lewis displaying incredible race pace; this drive is the lewis hamilton special that massa had no answer for
singapore 2009 🇸🇬 aka lewis decided to serve cunt
to truly appreciate the sheer extent of said cunt serving, you have to watch both quali and the race; mind you, the 2009 mclaren was nawt it, the post-updates mp4-24 was still dogshit compared to lil’ sister mp4-23 and very much an underperforming and unreliable shitbox; the updates also came too late for lewis to put up a proper championship fight; however this did not stop from lewis from putting 2 whole ass seconds on his teammate, take pole ahead of the red bulls and the brawns and then dominate the race, with brilliant tyre management and race pace (40 secs ahead of kova, nearly 10 secs ahead of timo glock in p2 in a truly fuckass mclaren)
brazil 2009 🇧🇷 aka the road to legend is long and twisted and the brazilian racing gods clearly have a plan
p17 to p3; and no you may think this is one of those checo-esque recovery drives where you qualify terribly but have a rocketship so you overtake cars easily and finish the race in a position you should have started the race in; well, the mp4-24 actually qualified terribly in the wet (even post-upgrades, it was also set up for the dry) and was still very much mid on a sunday; lewis however babes was on yet another mission, overtaking cars *mwah* like please watch it; the brazilian racing gods truly picked a chosen one and his name is lewis hamilton i do not make the rules; his lil’ fist punching the air when he crossed the line says everything you need to know about what that drive meant to lewis (also like that boy was starving for a win around interlagos and to think the first one came only in 2016 jeez) the racing gods really wanted to make that man suffer biblically in true chosen one fashion before offering any type of redemption; you see interlagos and lewis is a special narrative, it’s about a boy achieving immortality in his hero’s homeland, and it goes all the way from 2007 to 2021 and beyond, and there are chapters in between, like 2009, that are worth mentioning, because the man is desperate for a win here and he’s getting so so close, hungry mclaren lewis you mean so much to me, he would eat anything and anyone and well,,,interlagos is lewis’ yearning personified
china 2011 🇨🇳 aka he WILL have his win and he will bite and claw his way towards it
hungry lewis starving for a win with a car that is half-decent is dangerous; this race is *chefs kiss* oh my god, please watch it, baby mclaren lewis on a mission, babes after the race said he doesn’t remember when he last won a race, like wdym it’s only been like 8 months my guy (we’re on two years now); drama starts before the race even begins, because he’s got a fuel problem and is literally mere seconds away from a pit-lane start but no that team and that man were on a mission: three-stopper, overtaking both seb and jb, terrifying race pace! he also gets a bit emotional in the cool down room and hugs seb 🥹
germany 2011 🇩🇪 aka vintage lewis special
another one where you have to watch both quali and the race, because baby goat was pulling quali laps out of his ass (imo probably one of his best non pole laps): he split the bulls and was only half a tenth from pole (also 1.2 secs ahead of his teammate); bear in mind we’re in the domination era of kinky kylie (rb-7) which took 12/19 victories and all but one pole position, which interestingly albeit unsurprisingly went to lewis in korea): that man was putting his entire lewpussy into those quali laps; now the race, ladies and gents (gn) this is where it gets tasty and spicy and if you want a three-car fight for the win this delivers on all fronts and provides lewis at his very best this is it;
a small (but important) tangent: i do find it slightly disappointing when people overlook lewis’ 2011 season entirely because of his getting outscored by jb; yes, it wasn’t a clean season from him, he made a lot of errors in the races and it’s quite a frustrating watch in general as a lewis fan, but he also had some absolutely brilliant races (i also can’t help but point out a similar trend that has happened with his 2022 season);
but anyway, this is lewis vs webber vs fernando, mclaren vs red bull vs ferrari for the entire race; overcut and undercut strategies happening simultaneously, lewis’ racecraft and defence on webber!!!!, and featuring a great overtake on nando!
+ honourable mention: australia 2009 🇦🇺 aka icarus flew too close to the sun
you’re prolly wondering why i’m including australia 2009, which is rather infamously known for ‘liegate’; but lewis’ (and mclaren’s) post-race shenanigans overshadow an actually brilliant drive from p18 to 4th (momentarily 3rd bc trulli got DSQ’d which was then reversed lmao; it’s a bit all over the place) in an actually dogshit mclaren that had no right fighting even for top 5; this is pre-upgrades wheelbarrow mp4-24, this is the stuff that makes the w13 look like a prima ballerina, well guess what lewis was the prima ballerina and was putting that mclaren in positions it really did not deserve to even bear witness to; and then there was a bit of a kerfuffle at the fia office (please read up on liegate it’s acc really funny, mclaren spectacularly shooting themselves in the foot 🙄), someone got fired, lewis disqualified, but oh well, shits and giggles innit (hindsight's a wonderful thing)
hope you enjoyed and i also hope this provided some inspiration for a rewatch :) 💜🏎️
#lewis hamilton#this rewatch was honestly a pleasure to do because i genuinely haven’t seen some of these races in years#there will be a part 2 with some merc drives#f1#lewis mclaren rewatch

Re: driver training. it sucks so bad that there's so many weight restrictions for f1 bc some drivers have talked about before that they have to be careful not to gain too much muscle in the gym bc they have to be within a certain weight 😭💔 let them be more muscular. FlA did enact a new rule that adds a couple kgs to the minimum and gives drivers a tiny bit more freedom — but again it's hardly anything
Blanket Statement ill tag any further posts about this with #weight talk so if it’s triggering you can mute me. discussion of weight/bmi/bmr/calories etc.
what I would give to see all of the drivers inbody stats... the system they have now is arguably much better than before, but it does make me curious how important training really is beyond a certain point.
if we're measuring like. core, back, neck strength and diet relative to the most physically demanding elements of racing: g-force, dehydration, stamina etc. then presumably the most ideal form would be as low body fat as possible while still eating in a nutrient dense deficit. that's to say like. if a driver was eating incredibly clean and their split was like 60/40 cardio and strength training to maximize muscle mass and stamina. well. presumably they'd have an advantage in the car gained from higher endurance/strength. presumably. concerns like heat exhaustion, physical exhaustion, strain from gs etc. are all lessened if you're physically the strongest and healthiest outside the car.
then again. I think the physical aspect of racing is. a smaller factor in comparison to everything going on if I am Being So Honest. I think its really difficult without me spending like a full day honest to god researching this to give you specific examples because at the end of the day there are so many factors related to what makes a driver a good driver but like. generally speaking. I would argue max verstappen does not have that idealized body type listed above, and yet, his results speak for themselves? maybe???
ive seen an oldddd document that says the Mclaren drivers had a 2800kcal daily intake which is pretty much just maintenance for. lando norris. so like. noticing how none of these trainers push their drivers to any Real extreme (on the baseline that they're professional athletes no I don't consider training 24/7 and eating in maintenance to be extreme. for a normal person Yea. But this is their entire lives that they're paid to do) I'd honestly guess that reaching a "peak" or "ideal" form would just give you the slightest margin. waves hands stat about weight in relation to milliseconds 1.5kg is worth ~0.05s/lap, or around 2 seconds over the whole race, a lot of drivers like to mention this Woe is them truly but it seems like... what that weight is, fat mass vs lean mass Seems To Me like it should be more vital to know and maximize and iiiii would like to know more about why no trainers push their drivers to this extent but o whale. there's also an argument on the table here about that being unhealthy which again. to any normal person absolutely. to a professional athlete? loooowkey discipline delivers results?? Maybeee?? hey sure maybe. In some Wayssss I do see George Russell kind of being the physical ideal, but he's also got the height disadvantage like... the amount of muscle mass to be advantageously gained for him is not going to be comparable to that of like.. lewis or yuki.
which speaking of. lewis is kind of a peak form. Speaking Of... like yeah. he's incredibly healthy, high muscle mass, low body fat. Hey Guys weeee might have solved it... #nebermind #noticethegoat
Then Again. Then Again. lewis was peaking at a time where regulations were so different and ik he struggled with like fasting before races to drop weight so. there's the disadvantage of just. exhaustion from malnutrition that was working against him. and still he rose lowk tho. Then Again. hundred other factors that go into this but.Buttttttttttttuh yeah. ok. points back to verstappen. What is the truth. need to see lewis with good strategists and a good car is the real conclusion.
anyways. re: bulkscar. I am nodding and agreeing with you. gaining lean mass means losing fat in this sport. this is so sick and twisted. nodding. I want him bulky and soft like a GIRL.

💀💀💀
I don’t actually think that he did it on purpose, because slowing down didn’t help his tyres, but interesting nevertheless. It did certainly damaged landos quali and race and now it’s I think pretty clear, why Andrea was suddenly backing up Lando in media and praising him for not blaming his team and taking full responsibility💀 god it will be hell of a year
Andrea also admitted that they build the car that suits Oscar much better than Lando and that they made his life much tougher….but I don’t want to wear a foil hat even tho im a (kinda) toxic Lando fan, because I believe that he knows what he’s doing and he knows his team. It’s silly to say that McLaren sabotaging him, but it’s 4 race but questionable thinks already happed. And even tho I think that Oscar not opposed to win a championship let’s say max way or toxic teammate kinda way, he won’t do it so openly stupid and he also wants to win it on merit, because it’s not worth it otherwise. Yeah, you will hold this trophy but you will also know deep down that you’re not earned it. I generally think that they want to race each other honestly, harsh and on the limit, but still honestly. So yes. It will be a long week on twitter, but I can only hope that it was pit wall kinda fault and it wasn’t on purpose
every time people talk about team’s building cars “around” a driver, i have to laugh. they’re building cars to be as fast as possible, and cars happen to suit one driver’s preferences more than another sometimes. also from what i’ve seen oscar and lando just do not have dramatically different driving styles. it’s not like carlos vs. charles where charles preferred a much pointier car than carlos. like i just don’t think mclaren has a “preference” for which of their drivers wins. they want to win the constructors and win the wdc, but other than that they don’t give a shit who does it. maybe if you had a gun to zak or andrea’s head they’d say a name, but i genuinely don’t believe they make any decisions based on that. like i love writing toxic papaya rpf as much as the next person but in the real world i find these conspiracy theories one of the least interesting ways to engage with the sport because they’re just not true…
anyway the real problem here is getting any race analysis from twitter. if you want good analysis, the race f1 podcast is great. it’s neutral, technical analysis and i highly recommend if you want to understand the wheel side of things

Honestly though, Charles saying the same thing as Max on the radio might actually be something RB cares about.
The main issue RB has had with their other drivers next to Max is that they are too different and therefore it's hard to have a cohesive team. The second driver either doesn't like the same type of car Max does, or has different feedback, or many other things we may not be aware of, which makes it hard to develop the car in the same direction, or develop race strategy and make strategy calls on the fly in a race.
RB knows by now that Charles likes a similar car to Max, and by constantly listening to his radio they've probably also concluded that Charles reads races and strategy calls in a similar way that Max does. And I just went back to listen to GP's comment, he sounded almost like he had a surprised laugh, like "haha what a coincidence, you won't believe it but Charles just said the exact same thing!"
I actually think this is very valuable to a team. You see how many other teams have to reason with one driver or another regarding strategy because they disagree. Or one driver is more comfortable on one tyre vs the other and it's hard to use both sets of feedback or data. If RB had a second driver like Charles who could handle Max's car and reads a race the exact same way, literally down to radioing it in the exact same second, this makes it way easier to manage the team and a race.
And we all know RB are ruthless in their pursuit for perfection in all areas. They are hunting for the closest they can get to a Max clone at this point, and Charles is pretty much it.
Oh, the timing of Charles’ radio being right before Max’s radio is super interesting! And it really does cement exactly this point. Charles is insanely fast, RBR is aware of it and has praised it publicly and often, so he’s a good driver to study for that — but he’s an especially good driver to study because he’s insanely fast and likes the same type of car. Your reasoning aligns with my thinking about why Charles may be the only driver on the grid right now who could take the RBR seat and have it work out really well.
It reminds me somewhat of that one radio of Charles’ where he was asking to have Max’s onboard ready to see before the audio cut out. I can’t think of what race it was now, but I want to say it was between a Q2 and Q3 or when he was coming in between sessions. I remember him saying something about how he couldn’t quite figure out a certain corner/sector.
So we know Charles watches Max’s onboards when he needs to, too. Because he knows they have a similar style; because they’ve been learning from one another their whole careers practically. I don’t think you could get a better aligned pairing on the grid, honestly.
#they know each other as driver so so well#as Charles likes to remind us#i don’t have much more to add bc you said it perfectly#lestappen gate 2023#*oracles#rbr Charles

hello luci, what account do you refer to when it comes to accurate race pace deltas, i've always thought they are very tricky to get right considering the number of factors that go into it...
on the same subject i thought this discourse was exclusively on twitter but it's common elsewhere as well, i don't know why people use the 0.1 tenth gap charles pulls on carlos as evidence of him not being that fast a driver compared to others who have pulled bigger gaps to their teammates, as if it discredits him maximizing the cars he has driven to the absolute limit. one can say carlos did a good job without discrediting charles. have they never considered the possibility that charles didn't pull a bigger gap simply because the car never permitted him to?
i feel like this is one of those situations where it's so easy to mislead with numbers and stats because anyone who has watched f1 over an extended period of time knows that charles is comfortably better even if the gap is "just" a tenth
With regards to the comparison between Charles and Carlos I'd need more specifics because I don't know the exact discourse that's going on surrounding that. If I know the context it would help if we are looking at a specific weekend or a year or their whole tenure as teammates. Although I don't really care since I think that the final results speak for themselves, and there is more to being a good driver than the gap to teammate. I think Charles' results overall make a compelling case.
Deltas are tricky because I feel like a lot of the time people are talking about different things when saying this. Are we talking over a single lap? Over a race? Did someone take out the laps that should be excluded to get a more accurate picture of pace etc. Which I found often lead to a lot of arguing on twitter because everyone was talking about something different.
I look at the raw data either from live timings or on F1 tempo and go from there based on what I want to know. I only look at pace when I think it's a relevant comparison to make. Sometimes the pace is not the main story of a split between two drivers. Really depends on the specifics.
And yes ultimately you are right. It is really hard to do an accurate statistical analysis of race pace deltas. Because pace is only one story in a race and between teammates. Obviously if one guy is battling for a position his pace won't look as good as his teammate who had clean air most of the race on paper, but it doesn't really make him worse, if that makes sense.
Delta comparison is helpful but it should not be treated as the end all when it comes to determining these sorts of things. There are some races where pace deltas just cannot be compared because drivers were on completely different tyre strats etc (Suzuka '24 good example for Ferrari)
The gap could be whatever but at the end of the day if one guy won/outqualified/finished higher more than the other consistently over the course of years that's far more informative*
I find when people really want to harp on specific stats in these driver vs driver arguments they usually just attach to the one that best supports their argument and ignore everything else. So I don't really think it's worth engaging if that's your concern.
*of course then you have to take special circumstances beyond a driver's control into account, not their fault if the car engine just dies on them etc. But I have corrected for this specifically with Charles vs Carlos h2h before and it pretty much remains unchanged with overall results. They both had roughly the same number of dnfs etc that were not their faults.
#and this isn't anti carlos#people are this annoying about any gap between any two guys#but this was the h2h brought up so#anons#luci answers#also I would double check that 1/10th number#simply to make sure people are not just repeating info they saw from one source over and over#as f1twt loves to do#I see things have not changed#people love finding whatever stat makes a driver look the worst completely out of context and like#that isnt really acting in good faith#so I wont argue with it because I cannot talk to someone who isn't trying to engage in good faith#if they are then fair play there is a lot of misinfo that gets spread in f1 spaces#and all those big data accounts I remember I called one out for including outlier laps for one driver and not the other#and they ofc blocked me and then changed their @#but some of those ones have a bias and they will manipulate the data to support it#but I dont 100% trust the data accounts are doing the best statistical work because there are a lot of laps that should be excluded#if the goal is an accurate look at pace#rather than something else

I'm going to be honest idk what people mean when they say x driver has more raw talent...
like when it's said about Charles. is it if he trained more he'd be the best driver ever? or if he had the same experiences as Lewis or max hed be better than them right now?
i dont get how his fans say that as some sort of compliment tbh. cause all I'm hearing is that if charles cared about other tracks as much as monaco maybe he'd have a wdc by now. idk.
the debate of raw talent vs hard work is always interesting cause 9 out of 10 times it's not about talent at all as much as it's about dedication.
sure you could say that about Charles or any other driver but it means nothing to have raw talent if you can't convert it. so it's a bit of a useless metric to compare. idek how you measure that.
for things like one lap pace, I actually think all the top drivers are similar in pace, it's just being able to do it over and over again that separates them.
For me it’s more, who was the best driver before they had the experience. So, raw talent is probably obvious from karting, and then in the junior formula, when they moved to single seaters were the results/speed coming quickly. And then when they got to F1 was there that innate speed and racing IQ that didn’t take them years to develop. It’s who hit the ground running at every new challenge.
And Charles was one of those drivers. He won everything in karting, he was a phenom in F2, and he has a great rookie season up against a solid teammate. He’s always just been good, from the start. Experience can improve skills but he very clearly had a natural gift.
It’s the same as how Max was competitive right from the start. And how he is fast in any car he gets in. He just has that feeling in the car. And it doesn’t mean he doesn’t need to work hard or that the raw talent can’t be built upon or nurtured. It just means you have a natural affinity.
I don’t think there’s a raw talent vs hard work debate, because everyone knows you need both to become truly great at anything. You can be the most natural driver in the world but if you only ever get in the go kart on race weekends you will lose. The commitment is 90% of it. But for those who are not as naturally talented, their 90% might be more hours to win than someone who naturally can feel where they need to brake or can judge how close they can get to the white line and keep the car under control. Some people need to work that bit harder but everyone needs to work hard.
But yeah, when drivers are in the middle of their careers, raw talent is a much less useful metric because they’ve already built years of experience on top of that. However, I think it still speaks to things like adaptability. I think if you have Charles and Lando the same car, not a Ferrari or a McLaren, say a Mercedes, I think Charles would get to grips with the new design concept quicker. And I’m basing that on the natural talent quotient. However, I think Max would adapt quicker than both of them, because he’s the one who drives different cars in the sim, and who was trained to adapt to different settings and to feel changes in his equipment from a young age. So ultimately I think the effort does always win out when you add it all together. It’s not one of those inspirational movies where someone is just amazing because raw talent. I think it’s a minute difference. But I think it does exist, even if it’s not a useful metric in most cases. I think it mainly comes into play when talking about young emerging talent.

Macau GP 70th Anniversary
YOU. YEAH YOU READING THIS. This is me trying to pursued you to go watch the Macau GP this weekend. This track is historic and legendary. And one of the most fun and dangerous street circuits (imo) with tight corners and varying elevations. It is still the oldest (active) street circuit that still holds F3 (+other races) and isn't part of the F1 World Championship (the other being New Zealand🤝)
Since it’s the 70th anniversary and they are holding two wholeass race weekends with a BANGER entry list this year (full list at the end of the post), so why not take a trip down memory lane and talk about some iconic races and drivers throughout the years. [LONG POST, just saying][Also, surprises underneath]
Macau Grand Prix, Guia Circuit (or Circuito da Guia)—a circuit that spans 6.120km, with different elevations over 30 meters top to bottom (in non-metric terms: 2 small pine trees, or 2 volleyball courts for all non-metric people out there👍). Top speed: 260km/h for an F3 car, which is already a handful. This circuit has had little to no changes since the beginning of its grand opening. While this track serves as a stepping stone for drivers, it remains an independent circuit and race of its own. Though still having an affiliate with the FIA.
Although the first race event began in 1954, they didn’t introduce F3 until 1983. Which they had a strong start for F3 with the likes of Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger, respectively taking first and third place.
youtube
A few years later; Eddie Irvine, Damon Hill, Jean Alesi also left their marks on this race track.
But the most iconic moment came in 1990. The battle of Schumacher vs Hakkinen. The beginning of their motor rivalry.
youtube
Schumi took first place while Mika unfortunately crashed out at the back of Schumi’s car.
Jenson Button (a literal child) in 1999, second place. God works hard but those mechanics work even harder
youtube
In 2003-2004, both Lewis and Nico took part, whilst Lewis took pole and they both showed great results in qualifying. Neither of them went on to podium in both years.
2005: baby Seb starting to shine through and took third at the main race, just behind Kubica
youtube
They put a baby in a fast car
2009: Daniel, Valtteri, and Jules took the challenge. Jules started near the back end of the grid but was steady racing and finished 10th. Valtteri started 4th, had the opportunity to be on podium until he got a puncture on the last lap that saw him finish fifth. Daniel-not the best start- clipped the wall and punctured his left rear, carried on a little bit more until he crashed out of the race :( can’t find any video cuz apparently no one cared enough about 2009
2011: Valtteri’s third year in a row; the previous got him third place but this one he retired the car on lap 4 due to an accident. Kmag, da Costa, Carlos participated but all in all, half the grid retired in the end.
youtube
Pre-mustache Bottas and baby redbull Carlos
Bloop! 2014: a wild baby Max appears! Boy had good results in qualifying, placing him third, but in the quali race he lost control and crashed. Main race-7th. Nick Cassidy, Nicki Latifi, Antonio Giovinazzi, Alex Palou finished 3rd, 5th, 12th and 16th. Unfortunately, Antonio Fuoco and Estie Bestie retired :(
youtube
Yes, Max did get the fastest lap
2015: Everybody’s favourite! Charles Leclerc has entered the ring. Charlie’s aggressive attack led him to second place and on that podium. Giovinazzi-4th, Lance Stroll-8th, Nick Cassidy-12th and following close behind, my boy, Alexander Albon-13th
youtube
The race was that good even FIA had to post it on their channel lol
youtube
The infamous onboard camera
2016: we see the introduction of George Russell, Landon Norris, Callum Ilott, Guanyu Zhou and Ticktum (But we’re not gonna talk about him🤭). It was an okay race, António Félix da Costa took first (came 9th in the recent WEC👏) and Nikita crashed.

That year gave us baby Lando and baby George who took his first pole *surprise🎉*
2017: A fucking great racing year, Lando came second due to Habsburg and Sette Câmara crashing out in the final corner. It’s Mick’s first year, though not the best result but did manage to snatch the fastest lap 💨
youtube
2018: it was a scary ass race and I remember standing in front of the TV just watching this. Lisboa corner is famously know for a lot of accidents, Sophia Flörsch made contact with another that send her airborne and crashed into the barriers and fractured her vertebrae. Final standing: Mick-5th, Ilott-7th, Schwartzman-9th, Zhou-11th, Vesti-15th
I’m not gonna post the video, you can go look it up if you’re interested
2019: a lot more familiar faces: Richard Verschoor, Jüri Vips (yeah that one), Logan Sargeant, Callum Ilott came back for another year, Liam Lawson with his bestie Yuki Tsunoda, Enzo Fittipaldi, Max Fewtrell🫡, David Schumacher, Felipe Drugovich, Schwartzman’s second attempt and Sophia Flörsch
youtube
3 years of absence and we are back! 2023!
This year there’s two whole weekends, from 11-12th November and 16-19th November. And they’ve a banger list of drivers like Bianca Bustamante for F4 and Richard Verschoor taking another stab at it.
Macau F4 race is happening on the 11-12th:

F4 is happening the week after on 16-19th

The FIA is streaming F3 on the YouTube channel (streaming f3 not f4🥲…go watch motor gp too it’s on the same day) but you could probably watch it on other streaming platforms too (you know the ones👀👀)
If you haven’t seen the Macau GP before…give it a go! It’s brilliant!
*side note: if Fernando or Lewis ever retires from f1 and have nothing else to do…I’d like to see them tackle this track (again for Lewis) maybe not f3, maybe something like GT cup or something. It would be verrrry interesting👀

Analog vs. Digital Dash Clusters: Which Is Better for Modern Vehicles?

When you sit inside a car, one of the first things you notice is the dashboard—the cluster of instruments that gives you key information like your speed, fuel level, engine temperature, and more. It’s the central hub that keeps drivers informed and in control while on the road. For decades, these clusters were entirely analog, featuring physical dials and needles that moved mechanically. They were simple, effective, and familiar to most drivers.
But now, with the rise of advanced technology, smarter vehicles, and higher expectations from drivers, digital dash clusters are quickly taking over. These modern systems use high-resolution screens to display the same essential information, but with greater flexibility, customization, and integration with other vehicle systems.
So, which one is better for modern vehicles—analog or digital? In this blog, we’ll explore the differences between analog and digital dash clusters, the pros and cons of each, and how they affect the overall driving experience. Whether you’re buying a new car, upgrading an old one, or just curious about automotive tech trends, this guide will help you understand what’s best for today’s vehicles and why dashboards are evolving fast.
What is a Dash Cluster?
A dash cluster, or instrument cluster, is the panel in front of the driver that displays key vehicle information. This includes:
Speedometer (vehicle speed)
Tachometer (engine RPM)
Fuel gauge
Temperature gauge
Warning lights (e.g., engine, oil, seatbelt)
There are two main types:
Analog Dash Clusters: Use physical dials and needles to show readings.
Digital Dash Clusters: Use electronic displays—like LCD or TFT screens—to show data in a visual, dynamic format.
Understanding Analog Dash Clusters
Analog dashboards have been standard for most of automotive history. These dashboards display readings using mechanical or electromechanical systems. You’ll see spinning needles, rotating dials, and often a simple digital odometer.
Pros of Analog Dash Clusters
Simplicity and Clarity:Analog gauges are easy to understand at a glance. Most drivers are familiar with them and don’t need time to adjust.
Lower Cost:Cars with analog clusters are generally more affordable. There are fewer electronic components to worry about.
Fewer Distractions:Analog displays are static and consistent, helping drivers focus without too many visual elements changing on-screen.
Durability:Mechanical gauges tend to be more resilient over time. They don’t suffer from dead pixels or software glitches.
Cons of Analog Dash Clusters
Limited Information:Analog clusters show only basic data. They can’t display navigation, media info, or custom alerts.
Lack of Customization:You can’t change how your gauges look or rearrange them. What you see is what you get.
No Integration with Advanced Systems:Modern cars come with advanced features like lane assist, real-time maps, and performance metrics, which analog systems can't support.
Understanding Digital Dash Clusters
A digital instrument cluster replaces traditional dials with a screen—often high-resolution and fully customizable. These clusters are becoming standard in luxury cars and are appearing in mid-range models as well.
Pros of Digital Dash Clusters
Customizable Layouts:Drivers can switch between different display modes—performance mode, eco mode, or navigation view. Some even support Custom Digital Dash settings, allowing you to personalize the screen.
More Data at a Glance:Digital clusters can show additional information like turn-by-turn navigation, media playback, weather updates, tire pressure, and more.
Enhanced Visual Appeal:These clusters often look sleek, modern, and futuristic—great for tech-savvy drivers or those who appreciate good design.
Integration with Vehicle Systems:They work seamlessly with infotainment systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), and other smart features in the car.
Improved Night Driving:Brightness and contrast automatically adjust for better visibility without causing eye strain at night.
Cons of Digital Dash Clusters
Higher Cost:Vehicles with digital displays tend to be more expensive due to the advanced hardware and software involved.
Complexity:The abundance of information and custom settings can be overwhelming, especially for older or less tech-friendly drivers.
Potential for Glitches:As with any screen, software bugs or hardware malfunctions can occur. A faulty digital display could leave the driver with no readable info.
Distraction Risk:With animations, alerts, and switching modes, there’s a risk of drivers focusing too much on the screen instead of the road.
Analog vs. Digital: Side-by-Side Comparison
Which One Is Better for Modern Vehicles?
This depends on how you define “better.” For modern vehicles that aim to provide an advanced driving experience, digital instrument clusters offer greater flexibility, interactivity, and data. They are perfect for tech-driven cars with connected features and intelligent systems.
However, analog clusters still have a place in the market. They are easier to maintain, less prone to tech issues, and provide a nostalgic or minimalist driving feel. Budget vehicles and some classic-style models still favor analog clusters for their simplicity and reliability.
Ultimately, the “better” option depends on your preferences and driving needs:
Daily commuter? Analog might suit you just fine.
Tech lover or long-distance driver? You’ll likely benefit from a digital system.
Car enthusiast? You might prefer a custom digital dash for performance stats, track data, and visual flair.
The Rise of Hybrid Clusters
To bridge the gap, many manufacturers now offer hybrid instrument clusters, combining analog-style dials with a small digital screen in the center. This gives drivers the best of both worlds:
Familiar dials for basic info
A digital section for navigation, calls, or system alerts
Examples include models from Toyota, Hyundai, and Ford, which give buyers flexibility without fully committing to digital.
Use Cases: When Digital Really Shines
1. Navigation Support
Digital clusters often sync with GPS and show maps directly behind the steering wheel, reducing the need to look sideways at the infotainment screen.
2. Electric Vehicles (EVs)
EVs often need to display new types of information—like battery range, charging status, and energy usage. A digital display makes this easier to interpret.
3. Performance Driving
For sports cars or track use, drivers benefit from a custom digital dash that shows lap times, G-forces, and engine performance metrics.
4. Luxury Cars
Premium brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi are making fully digital clusters standard across their lineup to reflect modernity and status.
Future Trends in Dash Clusters
Augmented Reality (AR):Some vehicles now project data onto the windshield using AR, showing speed, navigation, and warnings in the driver’s line of sight.
Voice Integration:Dash clusters will soon be fully voice-enabled, letting you switch views or get information hands-free.
Cloud-Connected Dashboards:Expect real-time traffic, weather, and system diagnostics streamed directly to your display.
Full Personalization Profiles:Your driving profile might auto-load your preferred layout, lighting, and theme the moment you start the car.
Making the Right Choice
If you’re shopping for a car or upgrading your dash, ask yourself:
Do I want modern features or classic simplicity?
Am I comfortable with tech-heavy systems?
Do I need real-time maps, media info, or system alerts?
What’s my budget?
If customization, connectivity, and visual appeal matter most, a digital instrument cluster is the way to go. If simplicity and durability are your top priorities, analog still has its place.
Final Thoughts
The dashboard has come a long way—from a basic panel of gauges to a sophisticated, interactive display that plays a vital role in how we drive. It’s no longer just about speed and fuel—it’s about real-time data, seamless connectivity, and personalized driving experiences. Whether you’re drawn to the classic charm and simplicity of analog dials or excited by the sleek design and functionality of a digital display, there’s an option to suit every driver.
As the automotive industry continues to innovate, digital dash clusters—especially those offering custom digital dash features—are quickly becoming the new norm. With the ability to display a wide range of vehicle data, adapt to driving modes, and even integrate with smartphones and navigation, digital systems offer unmatched flexibility and convenience. However, analog dashboards still appeal to many drivers who appreciate their straightforward layout and traditional feel.
Ultimately, the right dashboard for you depends on your personal preferences, the type of vehicle you drive, and how comfortable you are with modern technology. Whether you're upgrading your current car or purchasing a new one, understanding your dashboard options can help you make a better, more informed choice.
In the end, the best dashboard is the one that enhances your driving experience—offering you confidence, clarity, and control every time you get behind the wheel.

When to Call Towing vs. Roadside Help in Parker
Car trouble never comes at a convenient time. Whether you’re on your way to work or heading out on a weekend adventure, experiencing a breakdown on the roads of Parker, Colorado can throw your entire day off track. That’s where the reliable support of MPH Towing and Recovery comes into play. But the big question many drivers face is: should you call for towing or roadside assistance?
Understanding the difference can save you time, money, and stress. In this article, we’ll break down when to call each service and how MPH Towing and Recovery, a trusted name in Towing Parker Colorado, can help you out of a jam—fast and professionally.
What’s the Difference?
Let’s start with the basics. Roadside assistance typically includes minor fixes that can get your vehicle back on the road without needing to tow it. This includes services like:

Flat tire changes
Fuel delivery
Lockout assistance
Minor mechanical adjustments
Towing, on the other hand, is required when your car can’t be fixed safely on the spot. This includes situations where:
Your engine fails completely
There’s severe damage from an accident
The vehicle won’t start after several attempts
There's a major brake or transmission failure
Still unsure which one you need? Keep reading to find out more.
When to Choose Roadside Help
If your issue is relatively simple and you’re in a safe location, roadside assistance might be all you need. In cases involving overheating engines, leaking fluids, or odd noises coming from under the hood, it's much wiser to have the vehicle transported to a repair shop.

Lowering vs Lifting: Which Suspension Mod Fits Your Ride?

When it comes to modifying your ride, few upgrades make as much of a statement as changing the suspension. Whether you’re going for that aggressive, road-hugging stance or looking to dominate off-road trails with towering ground clearance, suspension mods are where serious customization begins. But which direction should you go? Lowering or lifting? And more importantly, how do you ensure you’re getting top-notch work from a name you can trust, like Matt Brown Extreme Performance?
Choosing between lowering and lifting isn't just about looks, although let's be real, the visual impact is undeniable. It's about performance, purpose, and personal style. Every driver has a vision for their vehicle, and your suspension should bring that vision to life.
Lowering your ride can transform how your vehicle handles. When done right, a lowered car hugs the road with a newfound sense of stability and agility. Think about sharper cornering, reduced body roll, and better aerodynamics. It’s the kind of upgrade that serious street performance enthusiasts swear by. A lower center of gravity gives you better control at higher speeds and a more aggressive stance that turns heads wherever you roll.
However, lowering isn't without its challenges. Ride comfort can take a hit if the setup isn't dialed in properly. Speed bumps, potholes, and steep driveways suddenly become formidable enemies. That's why if you’re serious about getting it done right, you turn to professionals like Matthew Brown Extreme Performance Stuart FL. These are the people who know how to balance performance and comfort, ensuring your car doesn’t just look good but drives even better.
On the flip side, lifting your ride opens up a completely different world of possibilities. If adventure runs through your veins and your weekends are filled with dirt trails, rocky terrains, and muddy escapades, lifting your suspension might be your calling. Increased ground clearance allows your vehicle to conquer obstacles that would otherwise leave you stuck, high and dry. Not to mention, a lifted truck or SUV with a rugged stance and massive tires is just plain cool.
But it’s not all about flexing in the parking lot or at the local off-road park. Lifting your ride can also mean better visibility on the road, improved towing capabilities, and a generally more commanding presence behind the wheel. That said, lifts bring their own set of challenges. Higher center of gravity can affect handling on pavement, and improper installation can lead to issues like premature wear on suspension and steering components.
Again, this is where experts like Matt Brown Extreme Performance come into play. They don’t just slap a kit on and send you on your way. They assess your vehicle, your goals, and your budget to craft a solution that’s safe, functional, and built to last. Whether you’re looking for a modest lift for daily driving or a serious setup for hardcore off-roading, having seasoned professionals handle the install makes all the difference.
There's also a big lifestyle element to the lowering vs lifting debate. Lowered vehicles often appeal to those who love the culture of street racing, car shows, and that sleek, fast-and-furious vibe. It’s about precision, speed, and style. Lifted rigs, on the other hand, attract adventurers, outdoorsmen, and anyone who sees a dirt road as an invitation rather than a dead-end. It’s about freedom, power, and the road less traveled.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about what looks better or what feels cooler. It’s about what fits you best. Your driving habits, your environment, and your personal style should all guide your decision. Are you carving up mountain roads or crawling over mountain rocks? Are you impressing at car meets or leading the convoy on an epic overland journey? Your suspension mod should be an extension of who you are behind the wheel.
When you’re ready to make the leap — whether that’s lower or higher — it’s critical to trust someone who lives and breathes performance. That’s why so many car and truck owners are turning to Matt Brown Extreme Performance. This isn't some cookie-cutter shop throwing parts at your car. It's a destination where craftsmanship, passion, and experience collide to build vehicles that perform as fiercely as they look.
Lowering or lifting is a commitment, and it deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach. It demands custom solutions, expert advice, and attention to the fine details that separate a showpiece from a headache. With Matt Brown Extreme Performance in your corner, you’re not just making a modification; you’re making a statement. You're telling the world exactly who you are every time you turn the key and hit the road.
So, which is it for you? Low and sleek, or tall and tough? Whichever way you lean, one thing’s for sure — when the work is done right, your ride will never be the same.

Open vs. Enclosed Transport for Urgent Auto Shipping
When choosing urgent auto transport, you will need to decide between open and enclosed shipping. Each option has its pros and cons:

Understanding the Dubai Car Rental Market
Types of Car Rentals
Daily Rentals
Daily rentals are perfect for short-term needs, such as a business trip or a brief vacation. They offer the flexibility to rent for a day or two. But, they can be more expensive per day than longer rentals.
Weekly Rentals
Weekly rentals cost less than daily rentals. This is true if your stay is several days long. They often come with discounts that reduce the cost per day.
Monthly Rentals
For extended stays, monthly rentals offer the best value. Many rental companies provide big discounts for long-term rentals. This makes them a cost-effective option for long visits.
Luxury vs. Economy Cars
Dubai offers many vehicles. They range from luxury sports cars to budget-friendly economy cars. It might be tempting to rent a high-end vehicle. But, economy cars are much cheaper and more fuel-efficient.
Pre-Booking Strategies
Book in Advance
Booking your rental car well in advance can save you a considerable amount of money. Just like flights and hotels, car rental prices fluctuate based on demand. By booking weeks or months ahead, you can lock in lower rates. You can also avoid last-minute price hikes.
Use Comparison Websites
Websites like Kayak, Skyscanner, and Rentalcars.com are valuable. They help you compare prices across rental companies. These platforms aggregate options from different providers. They let you find the best deals without visiting many websites.
Sign Up for Alerts
Many comparison websites and car rental companies offer email alerts for price drops. Signing up for these alerts can notify you of any sudden price reductions, helping you snag a great deal.
Leverage Membership Discounts
Check if you’re eligible for any discounts through memberships such as AAA, frequent flyer programs, or credit card benefits. Many organizations have partnerships with car rental companies, offering their members special rates.
Choosing the Right Car Rental Company
Local vs. International Brands
International brands like Hertz, Avis, and Budget are well-known but often more expensive. Local companies like Thrifty, Dollar, and Fast Rent A Car can offer competitive rates. Do thorough research, read customer reviews, and compare ratings to ensure reliability.
Beware of Hidden Fees
Always read the fine print to be aware of any hidden fees such as insurance, additional driver fees, or airport surcharges. Request a detailed cost breakdown to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Check Customer Service Quality
Good customer service is crucial for a hassle-free experience. Look for companies with positive reviews regarding their customer service, as this can save you time and stress in case of any issues.
Flexible Cancellation Policies
Opt for a rental company that offers flexible cancellation policies. This allows you to rebook at a lower rate if prices drop before your trip, ensuring you get the best deal.
Money-Saving Tips During the Rental Process
Opt for Economy Cars
Economy cars are not only cheaper to rent but also more fuel-efficient, saving you money on both the rental and fuel costs. Unless you have specific needs, an economy car is often the best choice.
Avoid Airport Rentals
While renting a car at the airport is convenient, it often comes with a premium price. Consider renting from a location in the city, which can be significantly cheaper.
Refuel Before Returning
Rental companies usually charge a premium for refueling the car. To avoid these extra charges, make sure to refuel at a local gas station before returning the vehicle.
Check for Unlimited Mileage
If you plan to travel extensively, ensure your rental comes with unlimited mileage. This can prevent unexpected extra charges for exceeding mileage limits.
Avoid Additional Insurance
Your existing car insurance or credit card may already cover rental cars. Check with your insurance provider and credit card company to avoid paying for unnecessary additional insurance.
Use Your Own GPS
Rental companies often charge extra for GPS units. Instead, use your smartphone’s navigation apps to save money.

Post-Rental Tips
Inspect the Car Thoroughly
Before driving off, inspect the car thoroughly for any existing damage and ensure it is documented. This can prevent disputes over damage charges when you return the car.
Return On Time
Late returns can result in hefty fees. Plan your schedule to ensure you return the car on time, avoiding any unexpected charges.
Save All Documentation
Keep all receipts and documentation until you've received your final bill and are certain there are no additional charges. This can help you contest any discrepancies.
Exploring Alternative Options
Car Sharing Services
Services like Udrive and Ekar offer car-sharing options that can be more affordable for short trips within the city. These services charge by the minute or hour, making them a cost-effective choice for brief excursions.
Ride-Hailing Apps
Using ride-hailing apps like Uber and Careem can be a convenient and sometimes cheaper alternative to renting a car, especially for short distances or occasional trips.
Public Transportation
Dubai's public transportation system is efficient and affordable. Utilizing the metro, buses, and trams for some of your travel needs can reduce the necessity for a rental car, thereby saving you money.
Additional Tips for Saving Money
Travel During Off-Peak Seasons
Car rental prices can vary significantly depending on the time of year. Traveling during off-peak seasons can result in lower rental costs due to decreased demand.
Utilize Credit Card Benefits
Many credit cards offer benefits like rental car insurance and discounts with specific rental companies. Ensure you are aware of and utilize these perks to save money.
Bundle Deals
Look for bundle deals that include car rental, hotel, and flight. These packages can often be more affordable than booking each component separately.
Negotiate Rates
Don’t hesitate to negotiate rates, especially with local rental companies. Sometimes, directly contacting the company and requesting a better rate can yield significant savings.
Consider Alternative Pickup Locations
Rental prices can vary based on the pickup location. Exploring different pickup points within the city can help you find a more affordable option.
Review Loyalty Programs
Many car rental companies offer loyalty programs. They give discounts and benefits to frequent renters. Enrolling in these programs can save you money in the long run.
Check for Special Offers and Coupons
Regularly check the websites of car rental companies for special offers and coupons. These promotions can provide substantial discounts.
Practical Driving Tips in Dubai
Familiarize Yourself with Local Traffic Laws
Understanding and adhering to local traffic laws can prevent fines and penalties. Dubai has strict traffic regulations, and it's violations can be costly.
Use Toll Roads Wisely
Dubai has several toll roads (Salik). Plan your routes to cut toll charges. Make sure your rental agreement includes coverage for these fees. This will help you avoid surprises after you rent.
Avoid Rush Hours
Traffic congestion can be severe during rush hours. Planning your travel times to avoid peak traffic can save time and fuel costs.
Park Smartly
Parking can be expensive in Dubai. Look for free or cheap parking. Be aware of parking rules to avoid fines.
Conclusion
Finding the cheapest car rentals in Dubai requires planning and research. You can secure a great deal by booking early. Use comparison websites and discounts. Also, pick the right rental company. Also, saving money during the rental process. And, using alternative transportation can cut costs.
If you're visiting Dubai for a few days or staying longer, these tips will help you. They provide guidance on affordable car rental options. Enjoy the freedom and convenience of having your own vehicle. Use it as you explore the vibrant city of Dubai. And you won't break the bank. Safe travels!

rio + THE COVEN.
NOVEMBER, 1983. A girl takes a long walk to clear her head before heading home. A girl makes a running leap to escape whatever is hounding her. A girl waits in her car for a hookup that will never come to pass.
This is what brings the lives of Rio, Jane, and Sophie together in the midst of a graveyard. Three girls from wildly different backgrounds and with wildly different temperaments, traumabonding is a hell of a drug. They go from strangers to fairweather allies to fire forged friends, though not without roadbumps.
Dubbed 'The Coven' by locals based on the inclusion of the town goth, they try to solve mysteries around H*wkins with their limited/non main character connections and intuition. Rio might be the brains, but Sophie is the negotiator, and Jane is not afraid to be the muscle.
SOPHIA GLORIA 'SOPHIE' MORGAN / 1968.
Rich girl with a reputation to her name. Rough home life in spite of privilege made her exceptionally tough and standoffish towards her peers, though with a still 'weak' center of sentiment and goodwill. The 'good time girl' who acts out for both peer approval and attention from adults that she lacks at home.
Father is a wealthy businessman and a tyrannical patriarch to his children, mother is an alleged stay at home mom and real life no-longer-functional alcoholic. Sophie is the middle child of five and the oldest child still at home, often taking care of her younger brother and sister. Lives relative to the Harringt0ns and Cunninghams.
The getaway driver, the charisma build, the one the girls want on hand when they need to bullshit. Excels at it, in fact. Smart but much more socially adept than the 'brilliant but rizzless' Rio so she takes the 'face' role of the Coven without complaint.
Wants out of H*wkins bad. Pursues music as her future career and is hoping to get an art school scholarship to New York after graduation and never look back.
Cosmopolitan middle child vs outsider only child means she and Jane are designated enemies who only get along for the sake of 'The Kid.' Elder Sister Energy means she would fight the entire HHS student body including the sports teams if it means keeping Rio safe.
Retooled from a past historical oc fora 80s fandom setting :3
JANET MARIE 'JANE' SMITH / 1968.
Might have been a middle class, middle of the road small town American girl, down to a literal Plain Jane kind of name. But she was drawn in by New Wave and Goth Rock, and decided instead to play life on hard mode as H*wkin's First Goth. Does not give a fuck, will hurt feelings, but bold and maturing fast.
Father is a military vet turned cop under Hop, mom runs the local salon. Both are transplants to H*wkins, her mom having a noticeable Joisey accent. An only child for better and worse. Her vivacious mom's entire world, but has a little too much in common with her stoic father as a person and too wide a gulf in beliefs to see eye to eye at this stage. Family knows the By*rs, but much more cringe: Jane has an all-consuming budding sexuality crisis crush on Eddie.
The lockpick, the one who throws the first punch, the shield between the smaller Sophie and Rio and the big bad world. Slowly builds on this foundation moving forward from S1 and is the willing muscle to the more specialized skills of her new friends.
Wants out of H*wkins just as bad as Sophie and Rio. Doesn't have much of an exit strategy, though. Is good at sewing and makeup, but doesn't see how that translates to 'getting the fuck out of Indiana.'
Can acknowledge that Sophie is rebelling against her culture and standards in a similar but distinct way from herself, but will still roast the rich girl within an inch of her life. Is incredibly awkward but tender with Rio, who she can't help but like despite being too concerned about performance and what other people think.
Will one day be lucky enough to obtain an FC <3 So far all I have is 'goth girl' and 'creepy blue eyes.'
MAUREEN ELIZABETH 'RIO' MUNS0N. / 1968.
The goworl :) White trash trailer skank to much of the world, but a precious Chihuahua-coded teen and straight-A student to those who get to know her.
Dad in jail, mom dead, uncle is legal guardian and only dad she'd care to acknowledge as such, has been trying to look out for her older brother ever since their dad started skipping out on them as kids. Doesn't really have many ties beyond that, being guilty by family association on the measure of 'nicer' folks in town and struggling to join social dynamics due to anxiety.
The brains! She will whip up war crimes fresh from the lab to hit the Upside D0wn where it hurts or logic out meanings and passwords based on patterns or obscure references.
Say it with me: Wants out of H*wkins. Plans to head South with her brother first, visit their mom's hometown in Memphis, but then wants to go to a good school, be someone. Be a clean, upright, moral person with opportunity and a respectable academic job...
Just happy to be included in Sophie and Jane's lives tbh. She's never had friends before. Kids laugh at her and have since she was 5, she'd literally walk into Hell for either of them as willingly as she would for her brother. Sophie and Jane are trying to convince her that while her loyalty is noble it shouldn't be at potential personal risk --
Genuinely just here for a laugh <3
