friendly reminder for some of you in drama,

please make a proper document!! it’s easier to spread misinformation when multiple evidences, sources and information are shared across blogs, instead of being in one single place.

create a google document!

(it doesn’t have to be pretty. please include content warnings, use hyperlinks to parts of the document, provide testimonies once your point is over.)

create a google drive!

(for evidence: screenshots, screen recordings, other small notes…)

think about gathering testimonies!

(for readability, it’s easier to have them at the end. they can either be anonymous, as in you hide their identities, or they can be open. as in they don’t hide.)

this way, it’s easier to share your story. keep your cases clean, don’t edit any screenshots to keep your story strong. be honest about everything and don’t let anybody dull your sparkle.

small note: please talk to each other instead of spreading it across social media. some situations may call for it, but most of the time (not every time) it doesn’t need to become a public issue.

just thought about stepdad bakugo being caught off guard the first time your teenage son calls him “dad” 🥺

it’s after years of being with you. their relationship isn’t bad by any means—it’s okay; it’s good. but your son has called him katsuki for the longest time, and he was happy with that, perfectly content even (at least, he thought he was).

it was enough that your boy dubbed his cooking “the best in the entire universe and beyond”; it was enough that your boy trusted him enough with a few harmless secrets that you may never know. it was enough that you’d both welcomed him into your home, into your lives, in a way that’s made him feel like he belongs.

it was enough (at least, he thought it was), until your kid comes home with a group of friends one day and they ask him, “who’s the guy in your backyard?”

between the scrapes of soil against his gardening shovel and mild hearing problems, katsuki shouldn’t have been able to hear anything—but he hears this loud and clear.

your kid tells his friends, “oh, that’s just my dad,” like it’s the most obvious, natural thing in the world and it hits katsuki square in the chest.

the next thing he knows, he’s smiling, eyes a little wet but not yet crying (—is what he’ll tell you later). it’s a small curve of his lips, but it stays plastered on until the moment you come home.

you wonder, when the three of you are cleaning up after dinner, “what’s got you all smiley today?”

he looks at you, back a little straighter and chest puffed out just a bit more. then, he glances at your son just an earshot away, wiping the table clean; he turns to you, mumbling, “tell ya ‘bout it later.”

(like he’s got all the pride in the world, like he’s got all the love in the world).

Fic where Tommy and Steve reconnect and Tommy slowly, painfully, horrifically realizes that he doesn’t know who Steve is anymore.

It’s not just that he’s changed. It’s not that he’s different. Tommy’s different too but Tommy is still Tommy.

Steve is a different person entirely.

There are glimpses of the friend he once knew in these conversations but they’re fleeting and fast. Maybe that’s more horrific because it makes it so Tommy can’t leave.

He can’t mourns his friendship or his friend when there’s the briefest chance to see Steve - his Steve - in the man he’s become. How could he leave that?

Steve isn’t a man he knows anymore and Tommy will always be standing in the Fair Mart parking lot, yelling at him to run away.

Never - not once - thinking that he’d listen.

Thinking about how Dani's episode is called Kindred Spirits, which implies that her unique narrative role is to mirror Danny and act as a foil to him, and then the episode is like "Here's some ✨superficial similarities✨. She is now going to leave the plot entirely and be 💖homeless💖"

#danny phantom #text #controversial opinion ahead but...#i think the reason i don't vibe with certain takes on Dani is because a lot of them are like #''yeah she's her own unique person and going by a different name and is definitely not Danny <3''#but then they make her LIVE with him. like??? how is she her own person when she's living exactly the same life as the guy she's based on?#living in the same house with the same parents and the same older sister and the same school and the same town and the same powers??#you could argue that siblings are their own people despite sharing all of those things BUT THEY'RE NOT SIBLINGS. she is his CLONE.#there is inherent thematic baggage there that wouldn't be a factor in a mere sibling dynamic!#i feel like Dani would find it unbelievably stifling and I think it's high key the worst thing that could happen to her character.#even more than being fridged and homeless. because at least then you could fill in those blanks with anything more interesting.#She's at her most effective when she is able to stand on the other side of the fence and mirror Danny.#what makes her fascinating to me is her potential role as a foil.
