So, no new art or carving today (though I did carve something for my sister, but it isn't LU or LoZ related so I don't know if anyone would want to see it), but that's not the point.

For context, I reacently finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (I haven't watched the 2003 version, but I might so no spoilers pls) and a thought just hit me.

You see these two guys under here? These two witty lovely assholes that can also be absolute gremlims when they want to?

Yeah they are absolutly the same person

I spent the whole series like "Damn I really like this Edward Elric guy, I feel like I've met him before"

And then I went "Wait a minute, snarky, check; short tempered (and just short too hehe), check; blond, check; secretly a softie with the people he cares about, check; loves to banter, check; self-sacrificial idiot, check; stuborn, check; surviving out of pure spite, check..." Man, he even wears red for the majority of the series.

And it hit me "HOLY SHIT HE'S JUST LIKE LEGEND!!"

So yeah, the only diference that I can find is that it's a popular headcanon that Links love milk, but Ed hates it with all his being lol

Even the dinamic between Ledge and Hyrule is pretty similar to the one between Ed and Al

Ehem, so that was my contribution to the fandom today 😌

I'm pretty obsessed with idea of Chrollo watching his darling putting on lipstick

chrollo absolutely lives for it. it's a visual delight — observing how you pucker your lips, blending pigment like an artist. especially since he's the one who picked out every last cosmetic item in your possession. he did take your preferences into account, but his were given the highest priority. bold, matte reds are what he adores on you most. there's something about that classic look that gets him going. especially if you're drinking from a crystal glass... the lipstick stain left on the rim puts high art to shame. no he's not normal in the slightest.

then there's that cute look of concentration on your countenance. your eyebrows scrunching together, breath held in anticipation as you try to apply it just so. he'll maintain immaculate control over his aura, obscuring his presence to you.

while chrollo does favor a matte finish for lipstick, the man gives lip gloss its due respect. should you pay close attention, you'll note that he kisses you on the lips less if you wear the former. instead, he lavishes your neck and the inner pulse of your wrist his his ardent affections. who is he to smear such a masterpiece? such an act is sacrilege.

when your lips have that light sheen to them, however... the temptation outweighs his self-control. it's like your inviting him to do as he pleases. expect for this unintended invitation to be greedily accepted.

i think its really funnyhow laytons eyes are canonically just Like That. like the guy on the bridge in lost future takes one look at his eyes and either gets so so scared he gives in or he feels like hes staring a roden t in the face and cant help but just say he trusts him

i think if i saw layton for real i would pepper spray him and watch his eyes water like small wet beads like they did at the end of lost future

sure, we have the roaring knight

but kris's darkworld outfit is also giving "knight". but what would their title be?

kris doesn't talk much, and tends to mumble. they are quiet. "quiet" is an excellent thematic counterpoint to "roaring". but you know what makes even more sense to me, given the connection with the holidays?

barely anyone seems to mention this but on TBOB bill accuses stanley of driving the reader away from bill's control, but like why exactly? Everyone else puts their own two cents about what they'll do if they see bill again in the book, so why not any of them? but then again we all know bill hate haaaatess stanley foremost so maybe that's why. bUT, i'd like to think stanley was the one was able to 'sense' that there's something fishy per se and is probably more aware about this entire thing, like stan ripping a dollar when pages before bill taunts the reader that they can't do so. It's like stan's trying to tell us indirectly "NUH UH, nope no deals for today, or forever!"

Sorry its just so funny to think stan having some sort of telepathy ability and using it to piss bill even more.
