Hey real question. Why does no one account for Papyrus anymore when discussing Sans from Deltarune stuff? Like, I feel like I'm insane for thinking Papyrus is also from Deltarune. He's Sans' brother, who showed up at the same time as him, has crazy powers like Sans, unique death animation like Sans, a weird font like Sans, knows what a toilet is like Sans(or at least of them), implied amnesia and remembering a place vaguely for having grass. (From a non-canon source but still) Like he even has a line about how "Humans might of descended from Skeletons" during the hang-out, which is more hybrid-theory fuel.

Is it really just "Well he doesn't bleed" so rather than thinking monster bleeding could be inconsistent, every one instead thinks he probably was just in Undertale and nobody had ever seen or heard of this guy until Sans showed up?

don't fucking talk to me about papyrus man, at this point I'm convinced he's the forgotten man but i have absolutely no clue what the point of that would even be. there are too many things lining up for it to be a coincidence (the egg, "forgettable", flowey's fascinating with him specifically, the very likely amnesia, the game breaking abilities, the green grass in man's island. that fucking shirt design putting him behind a scarlet tree???) they "just showed up" together one day but one of them bleeds while the other doesn't but also they're probably both from deltarune.

i think my problem for the most part is just that people who are completely unable to do any kind of analysis on silly things genuinely drive me fucking nuts

because like. i will hyperanalyze Anything dude. i once made my own heart hurt by thinking too hard about how genuinely full of love and compassion the movie Sharkboy and Lavagirl is

#trousled dumb #how do you not look at things and subconsciously pick them apart to their very core until you look a little insane about it????#i genuinely don't think i'll ever understand #how do u not at least smile fondly when u notice the 2004 spongebob movie is a coming of age story that tells u to NEVER stop being silly #the way i got through not having electricity or running water for 3 full weeks was by rewatching all the madagascar movies #and then writing extremely long letterboxd reviews about how they can be very easily seen as queer allegories #(the 3rd one falls off a bit on the overall theming of the series but it basically has a pride parade in it so i can somewhat forgive that)#ahem anyway. so yeah i wonder why papyrus specifically ended up being the character i'm undiagnosed about
