Korra's Wardrobe | 2025 edition

Over 10 years ago, while LoK was still airing, I drew Korra in each of her outfits. I recently found that post again, and thought I should revisit my old obsession, and add the outfits that were missing. This has been really fun, it was like meeting up with some old friends - both my younger self and Korra herself!

Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to finish this!! ♥ And hi to the people who were in the fandom with me back then, I'm waving at you from over here in the future :)

None of these are show-accurate, I thought it would be much more interesting to give each design a bit of a twist while keeping their original visual language. It was a really fun challenge, and I love comparing the old and new.

Some of these are a lot further into my own interpretation - the chains ghost, for example, is super bloodied because I'm not restricted by a TV network censor and the Zaheer fight was violent. And it left scars, too! The Raava fusion designs are extremely self-indulgent (Raava I love you, you will always be famous), and the kid designs are pretty far from the depictions of Korra in Friends for Life and Weaver's Ball, but I wanted to make them into a real evolution getting closer to the Book 1 design over time.

Briar and Apple are actually insane for each having the colour scheme of half the lesbian flag. They make a whole lesbian when put together. What the fuck was that about huh. What was the reason for that.

Ghost Drone is an AU where the events of Murder Drones have been spread out some odd years and changed around (except for Episode 1, which remains the same as it does in the show). Alternate takes on Episodes 2, 3 and 5 have already occurred.

The first comic isn't canon to the AU anymore, but since it's the initial concept, I figured I'd include it. This entire post is basically my way of saying "Hey, this AU has been stewing in my brain since the 16th of November in 2023."

Last of the refs for last year’s Artfight. I REALLY did love the design of this character. In theory. But since the re-theme of my story she’s in, she’s going to get a big update as well, BUT have the 2024 design nevertheless!

Despite really liking kekkai sensen it is kinda just baffling how some things are just not explained like why is Leonardo sending most of his money to his sister when their parents don't seem to have any money problems and does he keep seending her money after she's engaged and is Toby (her boyfriend not me ) not evil ? For sure he's not evil??? Specially because she's like 16 and well he might also be 16 but he looks older but mostly he doesn't get Michela's jokes!!?? (BTW I love Michela when she reappeared I would never have guessed her bond with her brother would have felt so genuine like they very clearly lived together and get eachother completely and she's very funny and determined ) also michela is blind why is Leonardo sending her handwritten letters instead of emails ?it could be because he is expecting their family to read it to Michela but that just feels a little sad and a little not like Leonardo since he's not writting letters to his parents as well.

And lastly does klaus have eyebrows?
