speaking of bloodborne i was going through the object files while eating a snack last night and found one of the weirdest/stupidest things ive ever seen. all the files are like in the 1KB-5,000 KB range except for this 44,000kb monstrosity that im pretty sure is the carriage the cramped casket jumps out at you from in yahar'gul. i have no idea why its this complex lol.

but it had a bunch of shit inside as well. it looked like a mix of stuff layered on top of each other that was used and stuff that wasn't or maybe was used in like, a promo at one point. peeling away layers revealed that the interior of the stupid thing has fully rendered lanterns and fire (????????).

after all that was stripped away there was a. pile. of 6 coffins. this shit made me laugh ngl. so i removed all of the coffins blocking my path (common bloodborne problem)

underneath i found what looks like a breakable incense (?) pot and some gravestones and some other shit. there were still a bunch of layers to turn off so i kept going.

i don't remember this rose being used anywhere.

underneath the huge pot was a little statue and a lamp on a chain

and underneath that...........

was a thing

i have no idea. it looks like a hole. it doesn't look like anything. i think this is one of the funniest things to hide at the center of such a needlessly complex collection of assets: a thingy

• lets use speed run 4 as an example...

• robin would get so damn pissed, not as bad as vance but swearing in spanish at the top of his lungs whenever he dies 😭

• robin: "maldito coño!" finny: "robin, its okay! youll get it this time, i promise. ill wait for you at the end, okay?"

• finny wouldnt get that angry, but if he did start heating up he'd do breathing exercises to calm down.

• gwen, same as robin, would be screaming, about to snap the phone in half after falling right before finishing the level.

• gwen: "what the actual fuck? i literally pressed the jump button dumbass!"

• bruce is a total pacifist, and is somehow so damn good at the game at the same time. hed only mess up like once or twice throughout the entire time, while making tiny little comments like "patience is the key" and shit like that.

• billy would be pretty chill as well, taking his sweet, sweet time on every level. so like, 7 minutes every level. him, bruce, and griffin would both be chilling in the corner, peacefully playing speed run 4 as vance, robin and gwen complained and whined like little toddlers the entire time.

• finny would be sitting with robin, gwen, and vance and was giving them therapy sessions each time they died.

• finny: "vance, its going to be alright, you can just respawn." vance: "whatever, but if i fall one more damn time everybody here is going to fucking die."

• vance... our sweet vance. his blood pressure would be through the roof while playing this game. like, muttering death threats and punching the wall each time he died. saying one bad word after another, this man has no chill whatsoever. this is why nobody played anything with vance, because if he messed up or died more than once you would see steam literally coming out of his ears.

• vance: "what the fucking god damn hell? this is the most stupidest fucking thing ive ever played in my entire fucking life. this shit sucks ass, im going to strangle the dickweed who made this bullshit game."

• the grabber? oh my god. this man wouldnt even know how to move, pressing the middle of the screen as he just sat there and stared at the phone, wondering how the hell he was going to get through the game when he couldnt even figure out how to walk forward. 💀

• the grabber: "max, max?? how the fuck does this work, im pressing on the screen and im not going anywhere, i thought they said i had to press the button to move? im pressing it, and pretty damn hard too. this is too complicated."

• and lastly, griffin. he wouldnt even pick up the phone, he was more of a 'watch someone play the game' type of person, and would cheer them on as he watched them play. he would mostly watch billy, and both of them would secretly shit on everybody else. (besides bruce lmao, but bruce would refuse to talk shit with them and just minded his own business.)
