summary : out of pure boredom, you decide to flirt with caine out of the belief that flirting wasn't in his coding, but you were soon proved wrong.

lately, you have been bored out of your mind.

even when you were sent on an adventure with the others, you were still bored. the circus was one that had everything, yet nothing to do. nothing around here amused you.

but then you had an idea.

you had recalled that caine was an ai, and before you were sentenced to this digital hell, it was common for people to mess with ai's to see how far they would go—to see their limits. of course, that really just meant people would make fun of the robot or ask it questions until it broke, but you had a different plan.

you were going to flirt with caine.

you've made little jabs at him here and there, and they weren't really anything serious, but you've noticed how he seemed completely oblivious to your words. he would just laugh before going on about some adventure he was planning, and that made you question if he even knew what flirting was.

after thinking about it, you decided that flirting probably wasn't even in his coding. he was created to make adventures for you all, and since that was the case, you planned to flirt with him until he broke out of confusion.

the idea didn't make much sense, but who cared? you were bored, and flirting with an ai sounded fun.

and that led to where you were currently.

caine has been sitting on the couch due to the fact that everyone else was in their rooms, and you had no clue where bubble was, but you didn't really care. since caine was seemingly alone, you decided that now was the perfect time to put your plan into action.

you started to approach him while you watched as he was scribbling in a notebook, and he would pause every few seconds to eye the paper before tapping the pencil he held against it. his eyes would then seemingly light up before he continued to scribble.

your steps slowed the closer you got to him, and eventually, you were standing right in front of him. you didn't know how he didn't notice your presence, but you decided that his obliviousness only meant that you could add more to this plan.

one of your hands placed itself on the edge of his notebook, and you gently pushed down on it while caine peered up at you. instead of saying something about your action, he just waved at you with the pencil in his hand.

"hello, my dear!" he greeted, and your gaze flickered down to eye the bee doodles he had drawn on the paper. "what are you doing here?"

his question was filled with genuine curiosity, and you just shrugged at him. "nothing, i'm just bored, so..."

his arms were pushed open before you settled yourself on his lap, and it was evident that caine was surprised by your action. his notebook fell out of his hands and onto the floor while a nervous chuckle echoed from him.

"you're rather frisky right now, aren't you?" he jokingly asked while he set his pencil on the couch cushion, and he tugged on the collar of his suit. "there are quite a few seats around us, and i believe those would be a lot more comfortable than my lap—"

"i think i'll stay right here, if that's alright with you." your words were spoken in a flirty tone, and you watched as caine's eyes flickered up and down your form.

then something clicked in them.

usually, his eyes beamed with this comedic lighting that made his bubbly personality pop, but right now, that shine was replaced by something else. it wasn't anger, apprehension, or anything of that sort. instead, his peer seemed coy now.

"that's perfectly alright with me..."

why did his voice get lower?

the typical ringmaster tone seemingly vanished, and you were left to stare at him in shock. yet, you couldn't give up on your plan, not when you had spent so long coming up with it.

who were you kidding? you came up with it in two minutes.

but still.

you remained on caine's lap while you tilted your head, and you tried your best to hide the surprise you were feeling.

"that's perfectly alright with you?" you repeated with a slight smirk, and caine nodded. "with the way you're talking, i'd think you're flirting with me."

"i am."

his statement was spoken without hesitation, and you blinked at him. "what?"

"you heard me—don't act dumb, i know you're not..." he leaned back against the couch cushion, and he dug his elbow into pillow behind him before resting his head on his hand.

you thought flirting wasn't in his coding, but it's clear you thought wrong.

you felt your face grow warm while caine continued to stare at you, and you pursed your lips before slightly nodding. "you're flirting with me?"

"do you see anybody else around?"

you didn't shake your head, but instead, you turned your head to look around before you felt caine grab your chin. you were forced to look back in his direction, and he slightly chuckled. "the answer is no, my dear. so, yes, i'm flirting with you."

as soon as his hand released your chin, your mind went blank.

you had thought wrong. caine could flirt back; he was flirting back, and he was better at it than you were.

you needed to leave before you just embarrassed yourself.

you slowly shifted in his lap before you shot up, and you started to walk away. you heard caine stand up, too, but you didn't think much about it until you felt him grasp your hand.

"and where do you think you're going, my dear?"

you were pulled back as an arm wrapped around your waist, and you were pressed against his chest. caine let go of your wrist, but instead of pulling his hand back, he only gently grasped your hand before hovering it over what you assumed was his mouth.

"it's rather rude to leave without saying goodbye..." you watched as his mouth closed, and your knuckles were pressed against his mouth in the form of a kiss before he pulled away.

your hand was released while caine's arm moved away from your waist, and the passionate look in his eyes was replaced with a humorous gleam. "goodbye!"

and with that, caine turned around before walking off. he snapped his fingers, and his cane appeared in his grasp while he spun it around. light hums echoed from him as he strolled away, and you stood in the middle of the circus with a flustered expression on your face.

your eyes flickered down to your hand, and then back towards him.

Doctor Sawyer who reunites with his kid

Okay well don’t you just have the funniest family history!!

What happened was, when Sawyer found out he got his gf/wife pregnant(or jst a random lady idk😭) he was very mixed about it. Yes, he had thoughts about being an actual father, he knew he couldn’t help raise a child..in an orphanage WHERE THEY TURN THEM INTO TOY MASCOTS MIGHT I ADD?

So he was saying this in the kindest way possible, he was like

“No thank you.”

And she was like,

“Okay you ############, you’ll never see your child ever again then.”

And then she broke up or divorced him and took you into her custody, raising you as a single mother.

As you grew older you obviously wanted to know more about your father, but all she’d say was that he was a deadbeat and chose his job over his family. Which, you could understand her frustration but in reality, you wanted to know more than what he did wrong. What was his job? What’d he do that was so important? Was he a cat or dog person?

So once you were in your rebellion era/chapter/point in time(teenage years) you decided to dig deeper into the whole situation and go through everything your mother had owned to see if you could find any clues about him.

A few pictures of him and your mother were all you found but one photo had something you couldn’t miss.

It was him in a scientist coat with a name tag that said “Harley Sawyer, scientist of Playco.” Playco? Like where Huggy Wuggy came from, where Poppy Playtime came from? He worked there?

Honestly you’re kinda like a horror movie protagonist because the next thing you had planned was to go to Playco.

“20 bucks you won’t do it.”

“Bet.”

Boom. Now you’re at Playco, and searching for your dad. You eventually heard about the rumors of what happened to all the missing employees there but you couldn’t care less, all you wanted to know was how your father was. Or to know if he “died” with those employees or not.

And that’s where the start of Chapter one begins<3

Everything was normal(well as the chapters go), you “killed” Huggy Wuggy, you killed Mommy Longlegs, Catnap, Miss Delight, then you meet Doey. You think he talks and babies you way too much. “But you’re still just a child.” Plz shut up bro-

Then returning back with Poppy, she and Doey talked about the doctor, and they mention the name Harley Sawyer. They want him dead. And they want you to kill him, obviously you said you wouldn’t do that. Because you’re just the sweetest lil son/daughter ever<3

It’s not like you’re about to tell them that he’s your FATHER. They’d probably would also not like to know that also but anywho. You decided to not let your pride down and reluctantly agreed to kill the Doctor.

But oddly enough, you’ve actually haven’t seen the Doctor or talked with him yet, only his minions Baba and Yarnaby.

Walking down the hall you used your Grabpack to open the door, you walked through it and suddenly felt something grab you. It was a robot figure with their head as a TV and it grabbed the back of your shirt, holding you so you had to face the voice that was speaking to you.

“Out of all the beings in this world it had to be you that has ruined these creations. My very own child.”

“Huh..?”

“You’ve grown so much from last I saw you, which, was when you were a mere baby. Yet I can’t help but feel angered by your presence here.”

“You're her husband? You’re going to kill me?”

“I would if it was any other child scurrying around this facility like a rat. I have no shame. Yet, I’ll let your mother do that herself. She’s treating you well, yes?”

“Mhm.”

“Good, now leave. Do not come back, and leave Poppy and Doey behind you in your life. Pretend this was all a dream. Goodbye Y/n.”

The last thing you saw was the robot throwing you out into the hall and the door slamming shut, that was awfully awkward. You smacked your head in realization to everything, how he openly admitted that you were his child. And how you couldn’t think of anything meaningful to say.

Been thinking about your unicron dad posts lately and this AU came to mind so I thought I’d share

Human!sparkeater AU

The spark is the only organic/ organic adjacent “organ” a cybertronian has

This would explain why life would pop up on earth, all of these organic lifeforms are offshoots of his spark.

This has been going on for so long that they don’t “take” any aspect of his spark anymore, they’ve completely separated by now

However, this means that organic life forms can eat a spark. Anything from a little ant to a human could hypothetically try to eat it

This would also tie into unicrons whole world eater thing as they would be able to incorporate cybertronians into the circle of life against their will

No clue how a spark would taste but honestly it’s hilarious to think that it’s somehow the most delicious and juicy thing known in the universe. Miko wouldn’t even bother trying to resist, but the other tfp humans would definitely have to hold back if they ever saw one unprotected for whatever reason

I could definitely see one of the autobots casually saying something like “haven’t seen (random decepticon) around for a while” as raph or someone would be trying their hardest to keep Miko quiet

I bet unicron would be so proud at creating a world of sparkeaters, he’d want to sic them on the universe so badly and has to deal with the autobots earning his little scraplets sympathy and unintentionally causing them to resist/ignore their whole sparkeating capabilities

Firstly, peak ask. 🙌 This is a really interesting idea.

Secondly, I like to imagine sparks are an essential part of terran’s diet or more specifically a human one. The reason they have such a short life span compared to their robot cousins is that humans die from a sort of spark deficiency. Like one might get sick or die if they didn't consume all the necessary nutrients. A Cybertronian spark is essentially for humans to thrive and for them to pupate into their true form.

Here's a rough sketch of what I imagine it looks like:

If any animal could eat a spark, picture a group of morally questionable transformers getting tons of hungry animals then just letting them run free in the Nemesis. The absolute carnage that would ensue would be legendary.

As for what a spark might taste like? Hmm it definitely would be very juicy. I imagine it has the consistency of something like hard ice cream with a semi-thick outer shell that's made of apples that's also somehow flaky. The taste would be ✨electric ✨ to say the least but also be sweet but not too sweet. Really thinking about it I can also see the core being thick and gooey.

Damn, I want to eat a spark now. 🤤

I feel like the first bot Miko would eat is Hardshell. There's not a lot of situations I can think of where Miko could reasonably get access to a spark before this. Plus it's just more dramatic.

After Miko had shot down Hardshell instead of dying he's just severely injured with his spark casing completely broken and the spark just out in the open. The girl flies over to (dinner) the insecticon, then gets out of the ship to finish the job. However, when she climbs up onto his chassis getting close to his spark she's hit with an overwhelming wave of HUNGER. Then poor Wheeljack has to watch on in abject terror as his pseudo-daughter eats a bot’s being alive right in front of him. Of course afterwards Miko evolves in an extremely bloody and gory way into her true form.

After experiencing the most traumatic event in his entire very long life and blowing up those insecticons he heads back to base where he has to awkwardly explain what had happened.

Or in a different scenario; Miko didn't evolve and just got a lot stronger. She needs to eat more sparks to truly evolve. Wheeljack doesn't say anything about this to the Autobots as he doesn't want anything bad to happen to Miko and he really doesn't want to cross her. Of course if I did some fanfic writing magic Miko could eat a spark before the end of season one so Unicron can praise Miko. That would be funny.

I can imagine he also has his own versions of primes; but instead of them being all serious and virtuous they're loud, chaotic, all over the place generally, and a bit of murder goblins.

Unicorn wants his little parasites to ravage the universe in their wake but they got bonked in the head with the morality stick. He would be sooooo pissed about this. So for now he will think of a plan to “fix’ this and encourage the resident insane girly to cause problems.

Day 3: reunions after a long time and rain

“Hay Bruce?” Duke asked as he walked out of the locker room. It was the end of his shift, thank god, so everyone was getting ready for the night shift.

“What's going on chum?”

“My cousin is coming to Gotham for a senior field trip thing next week to visit Gotham U and I was wondering if he and his friends can stay at the manor so they don’t have to pay for a hotel.”

“We’ll have to run a background check on them” “Already done!” Duke interrupted Bruce and jumped around him to get to the batcomputer to open up the files.

“Hmm. You really want your cousin to visit huh.” Bruce said as he scanned through the files.

“Ya. I haven’t seen him in ages and even though we text it’s not the same as an in-person visit. And Gotham isn’t safe for tourists so, manor.”

“Mhm, Duke?”

“Yes, Bruce?”

“Why are his and his friends' hometown labeled as unconfirmed?”

“Well, that may be one of the reasons I thought it would be a good idea for everyone to meet them? I know Tucker lives in Amity Park, Illinois. I’ve even visited him there when we were kids. But when I tried to look it up for the background check I couldn’t find it. It’s like it never existed. When I tried to ask him about it he kinda dodged my question and changed the subject. Like he was nervous about someone overhearing.”

“Alright. I’ll inform Tim about their hometown and see if he can find out what’s going on. Make sure you tell Alfried that we are having guests.”

“Thank you so much Bruce! I’ll go tell Alfried right now. Night!” Duke yelled as he ran to the elevator.

“It’s nice to meet you guys. Tucker’s told me a lot about you two.” Duke said as he accepted handshakes from Sam then Danny.

“It’s nice to meet you too Duke. Hopefully, Tucker has told you only the worst of things about us.” Sam joked.

“Of course. Hay, did you really switch out all the frogs in your freshman biology class with robot frogs?”

“Don’t remind me. Those things were so creepy. They talked to you as you cut them open.” Danny said with a disgusted face.

“It was more humane than dissecting living animals.” Sam defended herself.

“Wait. The frogs were alive? Tucker! Why was your school using living frogs instead of cadaver frogs?” Duke asked in shock.

“I got no clue man. Anyways, do we need to call a cab to get to your place? Cause I’m not walking in this downpour.” Tucker said while looking around.

“Hold on right there Mr Foley. You all need to sign these forms so we can get ahold of you in case of an emergency.” Mr Lancer said as he walked up to the group with several papers. “And I would also like to speak to your guardian before my students leave so I know they are in safe hands.”

“Ahem. I’m afraid Master Wayne is occupied with work right now but I am his butler, Alfred Pennyworth and I am in charge of taking care of all the needs of the Wayne family and their guests. If need be here is the main phone number for the manor as well as the address. Is there anything else I can do to ensure you of your students’ safety?” Alfred said as he seemingly appeared out of thin air and handed Mr Lancer a business card with the aforementioned information written on the back.

“Thank you for this Mr Pennyworth. My name is Lenard Lancer. As the vice principal of Casper High School, I have a duty to the students of our school. So I will still need these three to fill out these forms before they leave.”

“Of course Mr Lancer. I fully understand. Now if you all would please finish with the paperwork, we can load into the car and get out of this dreadful weather.” Alfred said watching as Danny, Sam, and Tucker traded off on using each other's backs to fill out the forms and hand them back to Mr Lancer.

Booo-merang Trouble DP x DC Idea

Okay but leeching off the idea that Jason gives off an ecto-signature, and I probably saw a post about this somewhere. I just for the love of me can't find it. If anyone knows it, please link it so I can credit!:

Jason isn't even on patrol, he's visiting the manor. His chilling, eating away at lunch. He doesn't come to the manor often, but he always needs a dose of his crazy family every once in a while. There's no way he'd stay away from Alred's cookies for long.

Then boom, something shatters the window behind him. On instinct, Jason moves. Taking cover and trying to get a sight of the situation. Of the perceived attack. However, before Jason could do much a heavy object rams into his chest before landing on the ground before him. It doesn't really hurt, nothing compared to his prior injuries.

A boomerang. A glowing green and silver boomerang laid on the ground before him. Jason's a million and one ways confused as he stared at the device. His hands carefully picking it up, and looking over the softly beeping device.

Jason thinks maybe it's a bomb, but something in his gut says otherwise. He can think of a million different things it could be. Maybe one of the rogues got a hold of their DNA, and it tracked them. Maybe it's going to expel a gas any moment, an attack on the Waynes rather than their vigilante personas.

Except it's none of that. The beeping stops and suddenly a robotic voice sounds from the boomerang.

"Ghost located, prepare for your end ghoul."

Jason tenses once again at the clear threat in those words. His gaze scans around the kitchen, still crouched behind the kitchen counter. Except nothing happens.

Except for a voice ringing out from the boomerang once again. This time, this time it's not a robot. It's a clear record of a young woman speaking. Her voice filled with fear, concern, and urgency.

"Okay, this should work right? You know what, that doesn't matter. No one but you should have a signature. Beside's Tucker thinks he set this up to go to you only. So Danny, you should be hearing this..."

Jason only finds himself more confused. The urgency in this girl's voice was enough to keep his nerves on edge. It sounded important, but Jason had no clue who these people are. Who these names could be refering to.

"Danny... Things here aren't doing to good. Look, I know why you left. You have every reason to. What mom and dad did... It's unforgivable and I don't expect you to come back. But, thing is..."

There's a lull in the recording. The distant sound of soft chatting. If Jason strained his ears, he could somewhat pick of the sound of another woman and man.

"Everyone thinks Phantom is dead. Which I would think is a good thing, but it's not. Danny, the GIW is on a rampage now that you aren't here. Mom and dad are on their side..."

Jason made the conclusion that the speaker was this Danny's sister. The message was intended for him, yet it somehow landed in Jason's lap.

"They have everyone locked up in the school... Radars to see if anyone has a signature, and if they do... They separate them from everyone else."

Jason's brows furrowed, finally pulling himself to a stand. He placed the boomerang on the kitchen counter. Leaning forward as he took in the words.

"We don't know what they are doing. Sam, Tucker, and Valerie... We're all hiding. We'll have the highest signatures, and... Listen Danny..."

Jason had a growing pit in his gut. He knew something wasn't right. These people were in danger. It didn't matter he didn't know about what, or who the GIW was, but these people needed help.

"... We need you. We need Phantom, baby bro. I'm sorry, I know you're still recovering. We can handle things here, but please. Please tell me you're still alive, you're in Gotham right? Tell me you're safe, and you're healing and still kicking Danny."

Jason swallowed, placing his hands flat on the kitchen counter. He needed to get this down to the cave. Have the computer tracked where it came from. But Jason couldn't move, not at the sound of pure desperation in this woman's voice.

"I just need to know you at least made it out of this nightmare. I don't care how you do it, just please let me know things are okay... They have... They have Vlad, Danny. Things are complicated, and I hate to put this on you... But Amity needs Phantom..."

The recorded suddenly broke into static, but Jason thinks he got enough of what he needed. Amity. The place these people were was called Amity. It gave him a lead, something for them to work with.

"Da... We... Help... They..."

Jason could hear the woman's voice breaking through the static. He gripped the boomerang, turning on his heels and heading towards the cave.

"Sam... Mom... Tech... I..."

Every broken word only fueled Jason's own urgency. Jason felt a strange urge, a connection. Something that told him he had to help. They needed to help. The boomerang found him, and that had to mean something.

"... I love you, Danny..."

Those four words were the clearest compared to rhe rest of it. It made Jason's heart seize, and he took a breath. He was going to help.

It didn't matter if Jason didn't know these people. If they weren't from Gotham. This was important, and something told Jason he needed to find this Danny.

Danny would be the only one that would know that to do. If Jason manages to rewind the recording, he was certain Bruce would be equally on board.

That voice, the emotions that dripped from it. It gave the sense that this wasn't just life or death. This was a world ending problem.

And Jason would be damned if he ignored it.

A second chance Deleted Scenes and bonus sketches

This is a sketch from when I was about mid-way done with the comic. I thought it'd be fun to do a post with my headcanons regarding the differences these two have, but I never got around to lining it.

The comic was originally going to stay largely humorous so that I could end it at around 5 updates, but I had wanted to make something long form for this fandom for ages and the reception had been so sweet-- So I decided to go for the long haul and take the story seriously.

...Yea originally Maxwell was kicked in the balls and then transported Wx's soul back into the robo body.

I found the latter joke really funny, so I kept it in as a bonus for the finale!

Most of the comic was actually very easy to write. The cast is already full of things worth exploring and fun dynamics: so I just let them loose. However I did struggle a lot with writing Maxwell, as he is... Mysterious. I wanted his presence in the comic to imply deeper knowledge but I also... Don't know what Maxwell knows. It was a real tightrope.

There was a version where Maxwell fully knew who Woodrow was and brought up the name. However it felt far too disrespectful and in the end... overly dramatic. Considering I didn't actually have anything for Maxwell to be bargaining for, there was really no point to give him such a "big chip" in the game.

Another segment I struggled with MASSIVLY was the ending. From the beginning I knew I wanted a very specific outcome: Wx returns to being a robot but their empathy module is functional again.

Whatever the motives are in canon, in this comic I tried to establish that Wx being a robot is a part of their identity, not just an escape. Wx-78 has a lot of self destructive tendencies, and existing as a human would be a compromise on their identity. SO: The only real happy ending would be best of both of worlds. Wx being accepted for their full self, and them feeling ok lowering the walls between them and happiness (at least a little bit.)

While struggling to figure out what to do, I considered a dream sequence where the Wx we follow in the comic meets Wx-78, and later also Woodrow from the disconnected animation. I didn't ever really consider this a real option as it felt so out of place with the down to earth tone the comic had so far, but it was an interesting exploration.

There was another sequence between this segment and the finale that was cut out as well.

I found the idea of SHOWING that Wx put the Empathy Module in to be a very emotionally powerful idea, but although I sketched it many times I never felt satisfied... Given a few more months maybe I'd found a way to fit it in, but I wanted this comic finished. I have so many other things I'm doing, and this comic deserved an ending. I do like the one I made, I just... Its hard to not ponder what could've been!

But wait! There's more! Here's some additional deleted scenes that didn't quite fit the above chronological recollection.

This scene was what originally happened after Wx drank some of Walter's hot "chocolate."

It got cut since it kinda felt like writing Wx into a wall. However you can spot things from this scene in the finished comic! Like Wx claiming the others were helping them just because they were human, Wilson and Wx having a convo about fee fees, and Wx's wild laugh.

The next deleted scene was meant to occur sometime after the one above. It was then later turned into a few scenes, such as Maxwell and Wx's talk.

I got rid of this one because it felt wrong to have Wx just... leave and figure everything out. I wanted them to keep interacting with other characters and... Well, this was too soon! They wouldn't drop their guard that fast!! Nuh-uh!! You can see a lot of it was kept for later tho!

Before redoing those parts, I drew a bit about Wilson and Wx planning to go into the caves.

However I had no clue why I'd take them into the caves, and it just felt off pacing wise. This idea was reused too, though! I just sent Winona and Wigfrid into the caves instead.

Finally, a few deleted panels. You can probably guess where they used to be.

“Everything okay there Parker?” Spider-Zero asked Peni, who was currently preoccupied with destroying a doombot. Peni wasn’t paying much attention to what Zero asked her and just kept marching forward, determined to stop Master Weaver.

“You talking to me?” Peter asked Zero. Whether he was joking or not went over her head.

“Nah, I was calling out to Peni down there. I appreciate the help but I don’t want her to get hurt in the process; protecting the Web of Life and Destiny is important, but so are the lives of my friends.” She said.

“Yeah, well, you know us Parkers: We can’t abandon those around us, friend, foe, or stranger. And, Spider-Zero, you’re no exception.”

She smiled, “Thanks Pete. I guess Peni is just fired up. Let’s get back on track.” And so the trio continued to battle through the hoard of doombots, Public Eye drones, as well as protecting citizens. All to try and make their way to the Spider Islands.

…

“C’mon SP//dr! We gotta push through.” Peni said to her companion while marching further into the enemy fray. They were mowing them down with nothing stopping them. That was until a new web was formed right in front of Peni and SP//dr. They narrowly dogged it, but weren’t able to hide their shock: a new rift in the space had formed.

“Uh oh. I don’t like this.” She mumbled. It was only then that Peni realized how far ahead she had gotten from her companions Spider-Zero and Peter. At this rate backup would be needed if it were another hoard of doombots, or more of the Master Weaver’s pawns.

Yet instead of the worst it was actually the most…surprising thing of all. A young man was falling from the sky! But he seemed…familiar? Peni couldn’t quite pinpoint it, but she knew she had to act fast; a civilian was in danger!

So with a quick swing here and there, SP//dr successfully swung towards the stranger and carefully scooped him up, sticking the landing on top of a small building.

Now that Peni was getting a better look at him the guy really looked a lot like—

“MJ?” She called out. The guy looked up at her suit, more than confused.

Until he wasn’t. “Oh! Another spider huh? I knew the multiverse was…well multi, but still this is a first. A robotic one. You know you kinda remind me of this one anime—”

“ごめんね! But you’re a little too calm right now considering you just fell from the sky. I think I’m missing some key context clues here.” Peni interrupted him, now showing herself from inside the suit.

“Oh, my bad. I guess introductions are in order.” He dusted himself off, holding his hand out Peni. “Alright, let’s do this one last time; not trying to universe hop for at least another week.”

“何だ?”

“The name’s Mars-Jupiter Watson, though most call me MJ or just Watson; personally I’d prefer (Y/N) though, if you could. Anyway, as things would have it I’ve come to understand myself to be a male version of the renowned Mary Jane Watson. And I’m from a more, uh futuristic, you could say universe.”

Peni and her spider nodded along while taking notes.

“In my universe, Penny Parker—”

“Wait! Y-you said your name was…Mars-Jupiter?” Peni just barely managed to speak as her voice cracked. Tears causing her vision to go blurry. At first (Y/N) was worried he had a variant that she knew of. That was until he heard what sounded like a stifled laugh. “S-sorry! ごめんね! But-but that’s soooo cheesy!”

His face burned at her teasing remark. And the laughing from the tiny bug didn’t help. “Yeah, yeah, I know. I think it’s silly too. Really old school and what not. But my parents were geeks for space travel so it is what it is.” His words didn’t stop Peni’s laughter however. So he covered her mouth with his hand. Even though he tried to appear stern with a scowl on his face, Peni wasn’t even slightly intimidated.

“ANYWAYS! I got bit by a cosmic spider of sorts and eventually unlocked the ability to jump between realities. But it’s random so I can’t go exactly where I want…and yeah that’s pretty much it.” He finished up quickly.

“But wait if you can travel anywhere then have you ever gone back home?” Peni asked. She was thoroughly invested in this discussion, seeing no reason to hurriedly push forward ahead without Peter and Zero. “Ya know, like having that feeling of walking back home, entering, and going ‘Ahh, ただいま!’.”

“Uhh.” (Y/N) hesitated to speak. His eyes avoided hers, face downcast and the mood threatening to turn sour. “It’s a bitter feeling. I’d rather not talk about it.”

“Oh my gosh I’m so sorry! I shouldn’t have asked.” Peni patted him on the back, genuine regret in her eyes. (Y/N) simply smiled in return.

“So I’ve done my introduction. How about yours?” He looked her up and down. “I’m guessing your name probably isn’t Peter.”

Peni smirked, the sweet atmosphere finally returning. “なに, You were expecting Peter Parker? Please!” She stood up, hands on her hips as SP//dr imitated her. “I’m waaay cooler! From a futuristic world too; Tokyo 2099 in fact. Which is where we currently are.”

(Y/N) finally decided to take in his surroundings, seeing the intricate details all over; the thing that stuck out to him most however was the giant island hanging over them.

“Wait now that I think about it…where exactly am I? I don’t remember hopping. In fact I’m fairly certain I was asleep.” He interjected.

“Well…,” and so Peni filled him in on their mission to protect the Web of Life and Destiny, and how it’s likely he got here thanks to Spider-Zero. “So will you help us? It’s okay if you don’t want to. Just your support is enough.”

He thought about. Walking around in circles. Chin in his hand. Humming all over. Mumbling to himself.

…

For ten minutes.

“Oh for crying out loud! Do you wanna help or not!” Peni had enough of waiting! She was going insane.

“Hm? Oh yeah sure. I guess I forgot to say that out loud and then started thinking about other things.” Peni tackled him to the ground of the roof, fighting back the urge to sling him over the edge. She had a visible vein pop on her forehead. “Ahaha…sorry?”

“…ありがとう…!” Her thanks didn’t last long as Peter and Zero finally arrived on the scene blatantly pretending to have injured backs.

“Geez thanks for waiting at least Peni!” Peter said. Zero was going to instigate the conversation, but she stopped after getting a closer look at the two; a guy that looks like an MJ and Peni straddling him.

“Sorry…are we interrupting something? Need some alone time?” She teased the two. Peter was confused until he realized there was another person present. Then his spider mask seemed to glow a brighter shade of red.

“OH MY GOSH ARE WE INTERRUPTING SOMETHING?!”

“NO!” Peni and (Y/N) shouted simultaneously, both blushing furiously and running away from each other.

After filling the two in about (Y/N), Peter and Zero swung ahead, wanting to give the two ‘alone time’. Which earned huffs from both of the recipients to their teasings.

“…Hey,” he started, “since we’re closer now I guess it wouldn’t hurt to tell you.” Peni looked at him confused. Tell her what? Was it something she asked earlier—waitwaitwait

“What do you mean closer?!” She asked, embarrassed again. (Y/N) refused to elaborate and continued.

“I didn’t return home because…I couldn’t.”

Peni froze.

“I don’t know how or why but…my timeline is gone.” He huffed as if finally getting a weight off his shoulders. He smiled, staring at Peni, “But I’ve long since accepted it. And so I travel through other universes (randomly) to help defeat whatever catastrophe awaits them. That way they don’t end up like mine.”

“Gosh (Y/N)…I don’t know what to say.” Peni said, looking down at the ground. He lifted her face with his hand, still smiling.

“How about ‘oh my gosh you’re soooo epic and cool and awesome (Y/N) for helping us save that web of life and equity.’”

“*Destiny (￢_￢).”

“Yeah, yeah let’s get this party going! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ.”

Peni watched as he swung ahead, now fighting back a giggle. Unsurprisingly, she failed.

“Let’s do it! やった!”

Any tips or guides on how you draw such wonderful mechanical/toy-like characters? It feels robust but not overwhelming, love it.

Thank you! So a lot of it is just knowing how to slap the joints on a normal humanoid body. If you research stuff like figma action figures and real life robots, you'll quickly build up a mental library of mechanical joints that correspond to different body parts. Many things that apply to robots apply to toys and things, though it always depends.

Once you have this library built up, you can kinda just do Whatever. Answered a similar ask a long while back that goes into more detail as well.

Some robots are much more detailed than this though, and the main inspirations I have for Normal Robots in particular are from Portal 2, particularly in Atlas and P-Body; the trick they use is having all the mechanical bits (usually pistons) being colored black and dark-grays, with the shells and casings being white or some other contrasting color.

This is an excellent way of having your cake and getting to eat it as well, because the colored casing draws your eye, and you get rewarded with taking in all the finer mechanical bits without getting distracted by them first.

This main principle is what I use for Kaita, who has mechanical parts, but often shows more subtly in her neck and torso/abdomen.

If you just quickly glanced at this closeup of Kaita from this older bit of art I did here, you'd probably not completely realize she's a robot, but seeing the strange geometric shapes etched into those areas might clue you in. To reiterate: while robots like Kaita are more complicated than toys, they share a good deal of mechanisms for stuff like rotating the arms, turning wrists, etc.

It's also just kinda a character design thing in general, is using strong shape language and going for something... toyetic. Which sounds redundant, but you'd quickly understand what I mean when you look at something like, say, Fortnite characters, or the designs to Ben10 aliens. They're not toys, but they all kinda have that Look to em, and they look like that not just because they do in fact have merchandise, but because that kinda blocky look is really readable, and excellent for action scenes and poses. Just that blocky shape language and strong color-schemes can do a lot of heavy lifting on even the simplest designs.

My main inspirations are Sonic and TF2, which I feel is weirdly obvious when you look at someone like Victor if you look at the blockiness of his body and the way I stick to a limited color palette. As-is he wouldn't fit in either universe visually, but you can kinda see how the design principles bleed into how he looks now.

This is based off of the suffering I’ve experienced at my own stupid choices.

Simon Riley, military lieutenant and member of the elite 141, had experienced the horrors of the world enough to fill at least half a dozen lifetimes. He knew what lurked in the shadows, waiting to snatch any form of life it could get its claws into. He knew what to expect from the world.

And yet he never expected to wake up in a fucking horror movie. Because why was he violently yanked from the edge of sleep by the sounds of a crying baby. As far as he was aware, there were no babies in this household, the…rodents not withstanding. But there it was, the sound of an infant crying rang through the house, so either you decided to partake in a late night kidnapping, or his new house was haunted. There was a possibility that the years of buried guilt and PTSD had finally caused Simon to lose his grip on reality, but he would always choose to disregard that possibility until he absolutely couldn’t.

So his brand new house was fucking haunted by an upset baby.

Simon didn’t know how to solve his brand new house being haunted by a god damn baby. Before he could debate his choices of an exorcist or simply ignoring the problem and hoping it chose to bother someone else, the sound was cut off mid cry. It was sudden and the muffled sounds of the pull out bed adjusting to a shift of weight filled the void the crying had left. Whatever was happening must not have been that frightening because a few squeaks followed what sounded like the shuffling of feet. Those not rats either had no sense of self preservation, or were the bravest god damn creatures on the planet.

Gettin up from bed he hovered by the closed bedroom door, slipping on his medical mask while trying to hear what was further going on. He heard you hush your pets, though what you were saying wasn’t discernible. There was more shuffling and grumblings, and he cracked the door open when the sound of a light switch clicked into the night. The living room was empty, the pull out showing all signs that you had been there once.

Sweeping his gaze he found you in the kitchen, hunched over the sink, the single overhead light there bathing you in the only ring of light in the darkness. You were fiddling with something in your hands, the only clues as to what the popping of a cap, a little robotic beep, and a click of something. He watched as you squeezed a finger and then tapped something against it. He was already through the living room and entering the kitchen when you stuck the offending finger into your mouth, staring down at the little device in your hand like it had personally affronted you.

In the daytime hours Simon would deny any satisfaction at seeing you jump upon realizing you weren’t alone in the kitchen. But it wasn’t daytime hours and Simon couldn’t help but feel a little smirk tug at his lips when your head had whipped up to look at him, he shouldn’t have to be the only one dealing with spooks in the night.

After what was, for all intents and purposes, a silent showdown, Simon nodded to your hands, his questions rumbling through his chest.

Diabetes.

You had explained that you were a diabetic, and the system you used to automatically monitor your glucose levels audibly alerted you if your levels decided to take a nose dive. Which would mean checking it manually. Okay that was fine. Another detail he would have known if he had actually chosen to read your file. He wouldn’t judge you for that. He would, however, judge you for choosing a baby crying as your alert noise. Sure it was affective at getting your attention, but he didn’t have to question the possible possession of ghost babies too.

He couldn’t help but glare up at the ceiling as he laid back in bed, pretty confident he wasn’t getting back to sleep anytime soon. Yes he knew staring at a screen was not helpful to falling asleep. Yes he was searching up facts about diabetes management. No he wasn’t worried about you or anything. He just liked being prepared.

He did have the fleeting thought about if he still had your file floating around somewhere on base though. Maybe taking a peek through it wasn’t the worst idea.

I'm having a lot of fun imagining a princess ford scenario. somehow stan gets turned into a dragon (tried to smuggle a cursed artifact and activated it maybe??) and ford hears reports of a dragon out by gravity falls and naturally investigates. he might not even believe it's a real dragon; it's been a lot time since anyone has seen one, people are probably mistaking something else for one. and then--surprise! stan spots ford, nabs him, and drags him back to the castle.

stan is having a great time. tons of treasure, a form no one can mess with, AND his brother is here now where stan can keep him safe?? that's all stuff he wanted even as a human. this is his dream. except for the not having dexterous hands part, maybe, but yknow.

ford would also be living his dream tbh. there's a REALASS DRAGON and it's right here where he can study it and its living habits.

...he would then be significantly less excited to learn that it is not a real dragon but in fact his estranged twin brother cursed into bring a dragon. a curse he should definitely undo before stan gets it in his head to start properly terrorizing villages for their money.

and this would probably be much quicker work than in princess stan if stan wasn't constantly ferreting out cool magic stuff in the castle and dropping it into ford's lap while ford goes "...he can survive another day as a dragon while i figure this out. its fine."

unsure of how the rest of the princess stan supporting cast fit in here. maybe they're a researching party (plus dan the local guide) who were there when ford got Snatched and are like "holy shit we have to go save him". maybe the area around the castle is thoroughly cursed so by the time they get in they're all in their cursed forms and are very displeased to learn that ford was living it up in the castle while they were trying not to trip every magical boobytrap in the grounds.

Oooh. Very fun. I have put some thought into this, as its hard not to think about reverse scenarios.

Princess Ford au, where Stan stumbles upon a creepy demon castle and takes shelter for the night, and upon exploring it stumbles across the amazing treasure hoard. He is instantly all over it, already making plans on how to get it all home with him, when he accidentally triggers some old Bill defense that turns him into a dragon, but because its super old fails to twist his mind to Bill's will. Stan is freaking out, and has to learn how to survive like this.

Ford, hearing about the supposed dragon, is instantly ready to discover the truth. His many years searching for the reasons that magic is slowly disappearing from the world have gotten him no where, so this is as good a lead as any. Surely a dragon, who needs a lot of magic to survive, must live near a magical hot spot of some kind!

Cue Kidnapping by dragon brother, except there's no one to tell Ford that Stan is his brother, he has to figure it out from clues left behind when Stan initially stumbled upon the castle. This is terrible to learn, after a week or two of studying what he now knows is just his brother, who's too distracted with treasure and looking at Ford to have even tried to communicate this, but doesn't deny it when asked.

So now he has to uncurse his brother, except Stan keeps bringing him the most fascinating arcane objects, and surely one more day wont hurt. One of those objects is Fiddleford, who's been deactivated for several centuries and wakes up to the horrifying sight of a strange man messing around in his insides and also a dragon. Stan is sad to learn his new present to Ford is a person, but also still considers Fiddleford to be a part of his treasure hoard, because he is very shiny and Stan found him fair and square. Fiddleford appreciates this less than Ford does, as he is his own robot man and not a shiny decoration, despite how many times Stan tries to organize him into his treasure pile.

Emma-May has been haunting the dungeon for a while, after her old haunt got turned into some kind of residential area and people kept screaming at her, making it impossible to work. Cue romantic meet cute between a roaming spirit and a robot man.

The rest... hmmm. Dan becomes the knight, after hearing about Ford getting snatched, not because he wants to rescue Ford, but because he wants to fight the dragon. This goes about as well as can be expected, with Stan just knocking him over and laughing at him, but he's determined to win.

Bill is the same creep, who now also wants what was supposed to be his guard dragon to fall in line and accept his rule. Stan is not impressed with him, and even less when Ford is impressed with him.

Tate is not born yet, because his parents just met, so i'm thinking Shifty might get pushed back too.

Ok, making this clear now, this isn't an ask, but a message to those who keep bothering energ00n here. Some of yall are tripping hard or just are being plain ignorant or just being hateful cause y'all can never be happy & never touch grass for some reason.

That last post about Jazz being black and accusing energ00n here for being...idk, stereotypical or racist, is just plain stupid. Was there any racists moments they did or made? No. Was there any stereotypes? No. Was there any indication that he's a black man in all this and not a giant fucking robot in any sort of context whatsoever??? No! If anything, they're just treating Jazz like Jazz and in character in their own way, just cause they don't know the entire expansion of Transformers does not mean they are painting Jazz or any of character in a bad light. Like, for God's sake, I'm black, you wanna come at them with that shit then you better be ready to deal with my ass.

Secondly, those who are being ignorant or being downright annoying by saying this is bad, this awful, repeatedly asking questions just cause your ass doesn't wanna scroll down and read, then you might as well leave. Energ00n has answered the questions someone else beat you to, it's not that hard to read and scroll down. Plus, if your upset over a fan creation then this isn't the space for you, and who the hell takes the time & day to diss on a fan creation where nothing legitimately bad has happened. There is no proshipping, no racism, no hateful content, no misinterpreting anyone, none of that. Just a person who loves Transformers and wanted to share a really amazing AU with the world.

So please, leave energ00n alone and let them do their thing. They have made it clear multiple times, they're not an asshole for having boundaries, they're not a bad person and haven't done anything wrong. Get a life and go join a different fandom if you feel the need to critize someone for doing something they enjoy. Seriously, go after people who are problematic instead of waisting your time trying to justify an argument that never existed to begin with.

I've have a few black folks saying that my portrayal of Jazz is fine and it really warms my heart. I feel troubled that you guys even had to defend me because this is the most nothing burger situation ever. My Jazz was largely inspired by his character in Transformers: Exodus the TFP prequel novel, quotes and all. If I put any trope into Jazz, it's the Kdrama, anime, cliche love triangle trope, I have noooo clue what anon was talking about.

I'd like to note that you guys don't have to worry for me!!! I'll still get hotheaded at repetitive or weird asks but it's still entertaining to me than legit anger. If I really get stressed from asks or hate, I'll just shut off anon asks. I know how to handle myself, just want you guys to join in on the laugh whenever we get some weird asks lol

Also a semi-related thing, so the whole “Bumblebee making a joke out of one of Soundwave’s Cassettes exploding” clip was making the rounds on Twitter a few days ago or so, and I saw some people explain that apparently, exploding cassettes were an actual thing, which is basically just (from what I understand) the film inside “exploding”, but the cassette could be wound up again and fixed

And based on that, the more likely explanation is that the joke here was that Bumblebee was explaining the Cassette “exploding”, but because the kids don’t understand how cassettes work, they think he means that Cassette literally exploded

So most likely, assuming this was the intention of the line, that Cassette was fine, though probably incapacitated for the fight and had to be fixed (probably more like that one episode of g1 where all the bots got loopy due to their depleted Cybertonium, silly robot antics), but nothing too serious. Rumble probably didn’t die, at least not at this moment, it was just a silly thing that happened on the battlefield once

But now my main question is, who did the writers think was gonna get that joke? Like sure, they make another joke that the kids don’t really know about cassette tapes, that’s where the joke stems from, but like, who in their audience did they think would get the joke?

The other cassette joke I understand because I know what it is, and the joke is that the kids don’t because of how old they are, and by extension how dated the Cassettes in basic concept are. But like, this one you have to know this is a thing cassettes apparently did to get the joke, and I’m pretty sure you’d have to grow up at latest in the 80s or 90s to have that knowledge, at least not without elaboration on what Bumblebee meant, which we didn’t get

I mean, children aren’t going to get it, and I think anyone up to their 20s wouldn’t get it either. I’m 21 (even if that’s probably the middle of the spectrum) and I had no clue this was a thing they did, it wasn’t until reading those comments online that I heard about this. Are the parents supposed to be the ones who get it? Because while I can’t verify this, I’m pretty sure parents aren’t all watching this with their children, kids are probably watching it on their iPads or something, and probably wouldn’t ask about this joke anyways because they’d assume it’s the normal kind of explosion, wouldn’t they? Like sure, some parents would be watching it and getting it, but that’s likely a very small percentage of the audience

I don’t know, I’m aware this is a weird thing to get stuck on, it’s just that this is new information to me and now I’m confused as to who the joke was for. My roman empire is all the clues in 02x07 (and a little of 02x06) that Lestat was mostly mind-controlled during the trial so here we go

We start with the introduction of Lestat in 02x06:

He's smoking... In front of a mirror. Film language and all that jazz.

At the beginning of episode 7, you can see his hands look like they're bruised. Why would that be?

When describing first seeing Lestat, Louis says: "It (Lestat being there) had all the hallmarks of a hallucination."

When saying about Nicki "Fragile mind prone to corruption", you can see Lestat minutely shake his head as if he's disagreeing with what he's saying. It could be grief but then seconds later he kind of blames Armand for his death because he looks at him in the audience.

Next there is a moment that is supported by a rumour so take it with a grain of salt, but the first time Madeleine "wakes up" she starts mumbling French (there is another moment later on). The rumour (from an extra on set, allegedly) stated that Lestat was trying to speak through her, because he couldn't talk telepathically with Louis or Claudia. Of course she was the easiest to control by the coven so it didn't work.

Next we have Lestat holding this pose for several seconds (can't gif, you need to trust me his leg just stays like that, like a puppet).

At one point Lestat is literally napping in the chair while Santiago is making excuses for The Drop. Then he goes off script.

While Lestat is apologising to Louis about The Drop, we have Santiago panicking and looking at Celeste (Madame Justice), who's representing the coven controlling Louis and Claudia... Because she's supposed to keep him under control too! But she's like, idk, love conquers all or something.

So this is kind of important because Armand also admits here Lestat is going off script, you can't script a hurricane etc. Louis is also wondering why Lestat is such a weirdo, going to Paris to sentence him to death, but then apologising and Armand goes, omg you can never know with this guy, he makes you wonder what's real... Sure Jan.

A bit later we have Louis asking Lestat if that's what he wanted/ this is working for him and Lestat is uncharacteristically quiet, almost as if someone is keeping him that way... We could speculate he looks angry about it, even.

Also Madeleine stands up and tries to reach Claudia - but she was controlled by the coven, right? So maybe whoever was controlling her at that moment is busy subduing someone else.

And this is not related to Lestat, but to Armand. He's talking about how the audience is hypnotized by the performance of Lestat & Santiago but when he says, "Piranhas looking up through the tank water, waiting for the chum to be dumped.", we get a shot of Armand looking up at the stage.

I'm sure there's lots of stuff I've missed, because tbh I'm not that observant and a lot of these had to be pointed out to me, but overall does it make sense that Lestat would also ask to be sentenced the same as Louis and Claudia? During the whole trial, he is very inconsistent in his acting - at times sounding robotic, at time gesturing with lots of artifice, as shown above, at times napping. We know Sam's not a bad actor, so it's logical to conclude those were choices.

Nicktoons Unite: Rewritten

I'm pretty sure most of you reading this know about the Nicktoons Unite series.

Running from 2005 to 2008 with a total of four games, the series saw some of Nickelodeon's most popular Nicktoons coming together to stop whatever the big threat of the game there was.

Even after almost 20 years, these games are still fondly remembered for how well they utilized the crossover aspect and how cool it was to see so many of Nickelodeon's most popular characters actually interacting with each other.

But apart from that, the games are pretty mid (specifically in terms of gameplay).

So recently, I've been thinking about what the Nicktoons Unite series would've been like if it actually had good gameplay and even went a little more all-out with the crossover aspect than it already did.

And being the madman that I am, I'm gonna make this a 4-part series!

Starting off with the game that started it all, Nicktoons Unite!

So without further ado, let's get this party started!

Gameplay and Presentation:

Nicktoons Unite! would still have the action-RPG style, but a little better.

And for a few reasons.

For starters, the characters will move much faster than they previously did.

Which is something I appreciate the later games for doing.

And the combat is a lot more fleshed-out.

Each character has a light attack, a heavy attack, a grab and a throw, a trip, a stun, a pop-up, an aerial attack, a block, a dodge, a ground slam, a double jump (though that varies between characters), 6 or 7 special attacks, one or two boosts, a few passive abilities, and a super attack that is able to unleash an insane amount of damage across a wider range.

Along with that, there will be enemies with specific resistances.

For example, say you’re dealing with an enemy that’s heavily resistant to energy/elemental/magical attacks.

So in order to beat that enemy, you’ll have to switch to a character who’s heavily reliant on physical attacks.

Since this is an action RPG, there will be tons of strategy.

And in terms of presentation, the worlds would be more expanded than they originally were.

Including major locations and characters that weren't in the original.

But biggest glow-up in the presentation would be with the music.

Everybody knows that Nicktoons Unite's music is pretty weak.

It's basically elevator music, and doesn't really fit the worlds we go to at all.

But here, the music would actually strive to replicate the scores of each Nicktoon.

So much so that I could imagine they would even receive help from the composers of those respective Nicktoons.

But don't worry, Guy Moon isn't gonna be giving every action its own music cue here.

The Story:

The overall story is more or less the same, but has a lot more content here.

First off, let's talk about the Nicktoons themselves.

The team still consists of Jimmy Neutron, SpongeBob SquarePants, Timmy Turner and Danny Phantom.

But this version would see five more members of the team.

These being Jenny Wakeman, Otto Rocket, Tommy Pickles (the All Grown Up! one), Tak and Avatar Aang.

As for why they're here.

I remember reading something somewhere about how Rocket Power, All Grown Up!, and Tak and the Power of Juju were all meant to be featured in Nicktoons Unite!

As for Jenny and Aang.....why shouldn't they be here?

Jenny especially since at the time of this game's release, My Life as a Teenage Robot has been around for two years.

I've always found it weird how she was never included in the main stories of any of the games.

I'm guessing that they wanted the Nicktoons to be a boys-only thing.

And given Nickelodeon's track record, I could definitely see that being the case....

Though I have no clue why Aang was never included in these games, especially since Avatar: The Last Airbender was one of the biggest Nicktoons on the channel during its run.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that it is was the only Nicktoon at the time at was primarily serialized.

So trying to figure out where the games could take place during the three Books would've been tricky.

But given that Avatar has comics in the Nickelodeon Magazine that took place between their adventures and are presumably canon, I think they could've pulled it off.

Anyway, just like the original version of the game, these nine have teamed up thanks to The Syndicate.

Which now consists of Professor Calamitous, Plankton, Mr. Crocker, Vlad Plasmius, Vexus, Tlaloc and Zuko.

As for how they're each contributing to their team.

Calamitous is who's creating The Doomsday Machine.

Plankton, Crocker, Vlad, Tlaloc and Zuko are each obtaining energy from their respective worlds to power it.

Those energy sources being jellyfish electricity, fairy magic, ghost energy, juju magic, and waterbending & earthbending.

And Vexus is creating an army of special robots for The Syndicate to use in their respective worlds.

Though with all that being said, you're probably wondering why the hell Otto and Tommy are here since they have no notable villains to speak of.

Well it's because The Syndicate have already conquered their respective worlds and are planning to make the inhabitants into cybernetic slaves.

And so, with our heroes united, they decide to head to Ocean Shores and Eucaipah (the All Grown Up! world) to free them first from The Syndicate's rule.

Upon arriving in Ocean Shores, they find the city to be particularly deserted.

But soon enough, they do manage to run into Twister and Sam.

The two reveal that the people of Ocean Shores have been captured by the Syndicate's troops and taken away.

Luckily, Twister and Sam were able to escape.

But the likes of Reggie, Raymundo, Tito and Noelani weren't so lucky....

And with the knowledge of The Syndicate planning on turning the residents into cybernetic slaves, the Nicktoons concur that there's some kind of base in this world where the process is bound to take place.

And so, our heroes decide to search around the city in order to find said base.

The world of Ocean Shores would consist of the following sub-areas:

The Cul-de-sac, Ocean Streets, Madtown, Rocket Beach, The Boardwalk, The Woods and The Town Dump.

And during their search, The Nicktoons find themselves fighting off Syndicate Bots resembling skateboarders, roller-skaters and surfers.

After some time, our heroes run into Eddie, who also escaped capture.

He reveals that the citizens of Ocean Shores have been taken to The Pier, which has been turned into factory.

And with that, The Nicktoons decide to head there.

The Pier Factory would sport a circus/carnival theming to it.

With Syndicate Bots resembling clowns constantly attacking you.

After fighting through the hordes of robo-clowns, our heroes eventually make it to the holding area where the citizens of Ocean Shores are being kept.

Before they can free them, The Nicktoons find themselves having to fight a robotic extreme sports star known as Rad-Tron 3000 (who would be voiced by Rob Paulsen).

Rad-Tron attacks with four different modes.

Skateboard mode has him speeding all over the place on his board, all while ramming you his helmeted head.

Roller-skate mode is pretty similar to skateboard mode, but he attacks you with kicks and swings from a hockey stick.

Surfing mode has him ride a surfboard that can automatically create an actual wave of water.

And snowboard is pretty similar to surfing mode, but does it with a wave of snow that can slow down The Nicktoons.

Luckily, our heroes are able to defeat Rad-Tron and free the citizens of Ocean Shores.

And with Ocean Shore now free, they decide to head to Eucaipah next.

Upon arriving there, just like with Ocean Shores, they find the place completely deserted.

However, they would soon run into Chuckie and Susie, who reveal that same thing that happened in Ocean Shores happened to them as well, and that they were only ones who manage to avoid capture.

And so, our heroes head off to find where the citizens are being taken.

The areas of this world include:

The Pickles' House, The Neighborhood, Eucaipah Streets, Jim Jr. Junior High School, and The Mall.

The Nicktoons eventually find the factory, which is now where The Java Lava used to be.

The factory here has an overall fruit-theme to it, and the Syndicate Bots use special guns that shoot juice.

As for the boss here, it's a robotic fat guy known as The Juicer (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson).

He attacks with punches, charges, throwing large fruits, and shoot powerful streams of juice out of his mouth.

Luckily, our heroes defeat him and free the people of Eucaipah.

With that out of the way, The Nicktoons finally decided it's time to take on their villains.

Their first stop is Tremorton, so they can stop Vexus.

Upon arriving, they come across a shocking sight….

Cluster Prime flying high the above the city.

Soon enough, they find themselves surrounded by Cluster Drones.

Thanks to them, our heroes find out that with the help of The Syndicate, Vexus has reclaimed her throne as the ruler of Cluster Prime.

Along with overthrowing and imprisoning the current ruler (and her daughter) Vega in the process.

But she’s not the only one.

Vexus has also imprison Nora, Brad, Sheldon and Tuck.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, Vexus has also conquered all of Tremorton and are forcing the residents to work in the factory creating the Syndicate Bots.

And so, our heroes decide to first free Tremorton from the rule of The Cluster, fighting off Cluster Drones and Syndicate Bots along the way.

The areas of this world include:

Downtown, Tremorton High School, and The Neighborhood.

After defeating all the Drones and Bots and freeing the city, The Nicktoons decide to head to Cluster Prime to confront Vexus and free Jenny’s mother and friends.

Along the way, they find themselves fighting even more Cluster Drones.

They even run into a mini-boss against Smytus and Krackus.

Krackus attacks with a electricity ray, and Smytus attacks with punches, ground pounds, flying charges, and when he enters his rage mode, claw slashes and shooting spikes.

After defeating those two, our heroes finally reach Vexus, who has her captives right next her and starts threatening their lives.

And soon enough, the battle begins.

For her boss fight, Vexus attacks with punches, kicks, ground smashes, flying charges, teleporting attacks and energy blasts.

After defeating her, Vexus declares that even though the Nicktoons may’ve stopped her, they still have the rest of The Syndicate to worry about, right before fleeing through a portal.

And with Tremorton, Cluster Prime, and Jenny’s loved ones now freed, The Nicktoons decided to head to Amity Park next to stop Vlad.

Some time later, the team land in Casper High…..or where it used to be.

As they immediately find out, Vlad tore down the school to make way for his new castle.

And he’s captured Danny’s parents Jack and Maddie, Mr. Lancer, and a few of Danny’s classmates such as Dash.

When The Nicktoons try to attack him on the spot, Vlad knocks them all out and banishes them to The Ghost Zone Prison, where they’ll have to deal with Walker.

When they wake up, our heroes find themselves in a prison cell.

Luckily, they manage to escape with some help from The Box Ghost.

And soon enough, they start making their way out the prison, fighting off ghost prison guards along the way.

But right when they’re about to finally be free, Walker stops them.

And thus, a boss fight commences.

Walker attacks with punches, kicks, stomps, and ecto-energy beams that he shoots with finger guns.

After defeating him, The Nicktoons finally escape and soon find themselves traversing through The Ghost Zone, trying to find the ghost portal that leads into Fenton Works.

Along the way, they find themselves fighting off all kinds of ghosts.

This section of the game will essentially be a boss-rush, with our heroes having to fight against several of Danny's foes.

This group consists of Skulker, The Lunch Lady, Ember McClain, Sidney Poindexter, Technus, Desiree, Johnny 13 and The Dragon Ghost.

As for how each boss would play out.

Skulker attacks with claw slashes, kicks, flying swipes, laser beams and missiles.

The Lunch Lady attacks with charges, throwing fast giant balls of meat, and mini meat monsters.

Ember attacks with guitar swings, sound waves from playing her guitar, and shooting fireballs from her hair.

Sidney attacks with eye beams, ink squirts from his pen, and telekinetically hurling rocks.

Technus (using his robot armor seen in Attack of the Killer Garage Sale and Prisoners of Love) attacks with ground slams, electrical blasts and mechanical tendrils.

Desiree attacks with enlarged fists, energy blasts, and various elemental blasts (fire, ice, wind and electricity)

Johnny 13 attacks with punches, kicks, chain whip strikes, ramming into you with his bike, and commanding his Shadow to attack.

And The Dragon Ghost fights with claw slashes, stomps, tail swipes and fire breath.

After defeating them all, The Nicktoons finally escape The Ghost Zone and make it to Fenton Works.

A short while later, our heroes meet up with Sam, Tucker and Jazz in the Amity Streets.

The trio reveal that they found a way into Vlad's Castle, that being a short-cut through The Graveyard.

And so, The Nicktoons head off to their destination, fighting Syndicate Bots resembling skeletons, vampires and zombies along the way.

But along the way, they actually gain a temporary ally in the form of Valerie, who's also trying to stop Vlad.

Although she refuses at first, she does eventually accept The Nicktoons' help (albeit begrudgingly since they do have the ghost she hates the most as a member of their team).

Valerie herself fights with charges on her hoverboard, her Ecto-Grenade Launcher, ecto guns and missiles.

Upon returning to the castle, the heroes destroy the generators that Vlad's been using to harness the ghost energy from The Ghost Zone.

And soon enough, The Nicktoons finally confront Vlad again in his throne room.

For his boss fight, Vlad attacks with punches, kicks, ecto-energy rays, and duplicates of himself.

He also teleports all over the place and crafts an energy shield around himself sometimes, which Danny will have to use Jack to break through.

After defeating him, Vlad flees through a portal.

And after freeing Danny's close ones, The Nicktoons end up doing the same thing when Jack, Maddie and Valerie decide to jump Danny.

And so, with Amity Park now free, the heroes decide to head to Pupununu next to stop Tlaloc.

Upon arriving in the Pupununu Village, The Nicktoons find out that the villagers have been turned into sheep once again.

Luckily, with the combined magic of Tak and Cosmo & Wanda, they're able to return about half of the village back to normal, including Jibola and Lok.

Thanks to Jibola, the heroes find out that Tlaloc is planning to steal the Tikis in order to summon the Jujus.

And upon doing so, he would instantly capture them and use a special generator to extract their magical energy.

And so, The Nicktoons find themselves having to retrieve the Tikis of Dead Juju, Dinky, Caged Juju, Two-Headed Juju, Belly Juju and Mind-Reading Juju.

This race against time will take our team to The Burial Grounds, Dryrock Canyon, Gloomleaf Swamp, Chicken Island, Wetstone Lake, and Gyre Mountain.

Along the way, they'll be accompanied by Flora and Fauna.

Flora fights with nature energy blasts, whirlwinds, leafy wind blasts and vines that sprout out of the ground and either hit or grab enemies.

Fauna fights by turning into different animals. These include a rhino, an orangutan, a ram, a bear, a boar, a crocodile, a jaguar, a eagle, a python, and an elephant.

And over the course of their journey in this world, The Nicktoons find themselves dealing with Syndicate Bots resembling monkeys, emus, sharks, tigers, alligators, wild dogs and wolves.

Along with some Nerbils.

But unfortunately, everytime, they end up being too late as the Tikis end up getting swiped by Pins and Needles.

Eventually, The Nicktoons head to Tlaloc's lair, The Dark Temple.

There, they find the summoned Jujus, including The Moon Juju, who was captured first via Tlaloc stealing the Moonstones like before, having their energy extracted.

Luckily, our heroes manage to free them and destroy the generators harnessing their energy.

And soon enough, they confront Tlaloc.

Tlaloc attacks with dark magic blasts, lightning bolts, summoning giant thorny tendrils, and casting spells that temporarily turn our heroes into animals.

After defeating him, Tlaloc flees through a portal.

With Jujus now freed and being able to return the rest of the Pupununu people back to normal, The Nicktoons decide to make The Four Nations their next stop in order to stop Zuko.

They arrive at The Southern Air Temple, where they run into Sokka, Momo and Appa.

Sokka reveals that Zuko's crew has kidnapped Katara and the three of them have trying to chase them down.

And with the knowledge of The Syndicate wanting to obtain earthbending to power their Doomsday Machine, our heroes decide to head to both Omashu and The Earth Kingdom Village to save the earthbenders there, namely Bumi and Haru.

Along the way, they find themselves fighting Syndicate-Bots that resemble Eastern dragons and Fire Nation soldiers.

And you would expect, Sokka serves as our ally for this world.

He fights with swings from his club and throws from his boomerang.

Along the way, they also fight against Zhao in Omashu.

He attacks with fiery blasts, fire circles and fire fists.

Unfortunately, the heroes end up too late both times as Zuko's crew manage to take all the earthbenders away.

But not all hope is lost, as while in The Earth Kingdom Village, they received a mysterious note revealing that Katara, Bumi, Haru and the rest of the earthbenders have been taken to The Fire Temple on Crescent Island.

(We would later find out that this note was sent by Iroh)

And so, our heroes head there to free the captives.

After freeing Katara and the earthbenders and destroying the generators, The Nicktoons finally confront Zuko.

Zuko fights with blazing rings, fire fists, fire knives, fire blades, fire streams, fire lashes, and fire walls.

After defeating him, Zuko flees through a portal.

With Katara and the earthbenders now free, The Nicktoons head to The Bikini Bottom next to take on Plankton.

Upon arriving at Conch Street, they find the place completely deserted.

And soon enough, they find themselves surrounded by Syndicate-Bots resembling octopuses, eels and barracuda.

Luckily, Sandy comes to help them out.

Sandy fights with punches, kicks, karate chops and lasso grapples & throws.

After going through The Bikini Streets and rendezvousing at The Krusty Krab, Sandy reveals that Plankton has imprisoned the people of The Bikini Bottom, kidnapped Mr. Krabs and has been using jellyfish capturing harvesters to extract their electrical stinging power.

Luckily, she's been trying to take down the harvesters alongside a small resistance she's built.

Soon enough, she sends our heroes to Jellyfish Fields to destroy the harvesters and meet up with the two agents she sent.

Those agents being Patrick and Squidward (who was forced to accompany Patrick).

Unfortunately, the duo end up getting sucked up by one of the harvesters.

Aftering destroying the harvesters and going through Kelp Forest, our heroes find themselves in The Ship Graveyard, where they encounter The Flying Dutchman, who plans on making them his crew for all eternity.

Luckily, Danny persuades him to let them go in exchange for bringing back his old crewmates, which he accepts.

After retrieving all his crewmates, The Flying Dutchman let's our heroes go.

A short while later, they arrive at The Chum Bucket, where they free Patrick, Squidward and the jellyfish, and destroy the generators harnessing the jellyfishes' sting.

And soon enough, they confront Plankton on the roof on his restaurant.

Plankton attacks with a giant robotic crab, which performs swings with its claws, ground slams, and shoots powerful streams of water.

After defeating Plankton, he flees through a portal.

And so, after freeing Mr. Krabs, The Nicktoons head to Dimmsdale to stop Crocker.

Upon arriving there, they find out that Dimmsdale Elementary has been torn down and replaced with a golden fortress built by Crocker.

Soon enough, our heroes find themselves making their way through Crocker's Fortress in order to shut down the power, all while dealing Syndicate Bots resembling elves, pixies and Anti-Fairies.

Along the way, they also free some of the residents of Dimmsdale, who were enslaved by Crocker.

These include the likes of Mr and Mrs. Turner, Chester and AJ, and Trixie Tang.

After doing all that, the heroes finally decided to head to Fairy World to free the fairies and destroyed the generators harnessing their magic.

Along the way, they receive an ally in the form of Jorgen von Strangle.

He attacks with punches, kicks, ground slams and swings from his massive wand.

After that's all done, our heroes finally confront Crocker at The Big Wand.

Crocker attacks with a flying exosuit, which performs punches, flying charges, and magical energy blasts.

After defeating Crocker, he flees through a portal.

A short while later, The Nicktoons finally return back to Retroville.

Jimmy deduces that they need to go the base of The Syndicate and stop them once and for all.

Only problem: they have no clue where it is.

Also, they run into Cindy, who reveals that The Syndicate have also taken over Retroville.

However, their prayers would be answered when Jimmy discovers the Goddard has flea-bots on him, which he deduces that Calamitous had them placed on Goddard in order to spy on Jimmy, hench how he was able to know about the Universal Portal Machine.

And so, our heroes shrink themselves on got onto Goddard and find the main flea-bot.

After battling through swarms of flea-bots, they find the main flea-bot, defeat it, and uses it circuitry to locate Calamitous' lair.

Soon, our heroes make their way through the lair (fighting off all the Syndicate Bots they did before) and finally confront The Syndicate, who proceeded to activate the Doomsday Machine.

Their boss fight has the group constantly switch between member and shooting at The Nicktoons.

Each of the villains' respective dome have some kind of special projectile.

Calamitous shoots electricity, Plankton shoots water, Crocker shoots magical energy stars, Vlad shoots ecto-energy, Vexus shoots energy blasts, Tlaloc shoots dark magic, and Zuko shoots fire.

Luckily, the heroes manage to take down each of the domes' generators, taking down the domes and allowing them to defeat The Syndicate.

A short while later, The Nicktoons have turned Calamitous into the authorities and have trapped each of their respective villains.

Plankton's stuck in a pickle jar.

Crocker's trapped in a Hypercube.

Vlad's been stuffed into the Fenton Thermos.

Vexus has been deactivated and turned into pieces.

Tlaloc's been turned back into a sheep again.

And Zuko's been frozen solid.

And so, our heroes bid each other farewell and return to their respective worlds.

But not before Jimmy gives each of them a Neutronic Recaller, in case something like this happens again.

-Kar-Rah-Tay Fury: Taps into heart of karate, increase the damage done by his attacks.

-Bubble Barrier: Crafts bubble shields around himself and allies, decreasing damage taken.

Passive Skills:

-Spongy Skin: Increases all resistances, along with granting a natural increase in attack and defense.

-FUN Mastery: Increases damage and chances for criticals done by FUN attacks.

-Kar-Rah-Tay Master: Increases damage done and chances for criticals done by melee attacks.

-Grab and Throw: Goddard rushes in, grabs an enemy with his mouth and throws them.

Well that was Nicktoons Unite: Rewritten!

I really had fun making this one.

Expanding the story and adding more characters and worlds to explore.

You can't tell me this doesn't sound this would be the coolest thing to check out in 2005!
