Ergo—Unicron unintentionally gave humans a long buried gene to be able to eat anything. It only activates when they consume Energon though since Unicron does have that. The humans who accidentally get some in their mouth can eat anything. The energon supercharged their stomach acid… Humans aren’t the Cybertronians predators—they’re the crazy feral cousin species!

This is such a amazing idea and I'm mad at myself for not thinking of it.

Humans just become organic scraplets essential which would be terrifying to transformers. Humans however are delighted to be able to fulfill their previous inedible food fantasies. They can eat all the acrylic paint and aquarium rocks they want now! I also like to think if needed humans could spit their acid as a self defense mechanism.

It would be so funny if unicron was kind of chill (I think that there is lore why he has to be evil if I remember but let's forget about cannon). And in terms of how that would affect Megatron and Starscream.

So i recent got back on Transformers bullshit and will scrolling though tag i saw Unicorn as planet/creators and he actually loves his weird little organic creations.

So what if Unicron isn't actually are creators. Did he help create us yes. Basically what happens is he leaves Primus and he shows up at humans gods area. Is like "can i join you guys." Human gods all looking at each other then like "Sure buddy" and cause I'm tried hitting restart on create dominate species. (aztec gods they restart world 5 times i think) And some are We're going to do this Once and Only Once.

So Unicron helps make humans, part of the reason as biped and have similar face as cybertron. Part of reason the other gods where like what if they look similar to some of us.

Then it comes to head that they need planet or they don't but Unicorn's like NO I'll be the planet and like transformers into plant. The other Gods are like but we don't need one we have. Other God smacks that one in mouth and whisper "shhh let him have this." "You need to be small Unicorn. Unicorn shrinks again till perfect earth size.

I think that if the Optimus from Transformers One were to ever meet a human, it would be perfect for him to have a child as a guide or companion on Earth — like Spike, Sari, Sam, and so on. Someone with the wonder and kindness of childhood, who wouldn’t be afraid of Optimus and would want to learn more about him. That gentleness could help rekindle the war-weary spark within Optimus. I just want to see him holding an adorable little boy in his hands 🥺🤲💙

funnily enough i'm already working on a request very similar to that haha. i do mostly Cybertronian reader but i'm not giving up on an idea i find intriguing. i jus gotta disagree with you on sam witwicky though cause he was... a very, very strange teenager but again, most humans in the bayverse are insane.

i get what you mean— Optimus in general is father material. no matter which continuity so i can definitely see TFO Optimus doing the same. it would be absolutely adorable to see him care for a human kid or even adopt one. also, i'm pretty sure he could because Star Saber has an adopted child in TF:Victory so its not a totally new idea to Transformers.

it would be the most wholesome father-child relationship ever. i can imagine Optimus learning more about humans through the kid, understanding human culture and what it means to be human. and i feel like Optimus would absolutely LOVE answering each and every question his little guide would have for him. the curiosity sort of reminds him of how he used to be back in the mines. ah, good(?) old times of being exploited by a treacherous Prime.

he's chuckling as they ask him what he adds to his petrol to make it taste better. but then panicking a little when he realizes the kid's tasted petrol before otherwise there's no way they would've known it tastes bad. they gotta explain themselves to him now.

also, i think the only group of people who wouldn't freak out when seeing a giant alien robot would be children; more specifically, children who are into mecha shows. so it would absolutely not feel very absurd to a kid. hence why i kinda like how its mostly kids who are a transformers human companion in most TF shows.

bonus if they make OP watch mecha anime with them. Optimus has a lot of questions. he'd first be so concerned and think its the Cybertronian equivalent of gore with how the mecha suits open up but then the kid explains it to him and he'd just go "oh.".

Optimus would definitely carry them around in his giant servos and show them around a Cybertronian Starship. he'd be too scared about the little kid being crushed by giant mechanical parts.

it would be a reminder to him that no matter how bleak the war gets, its all worth it because he's fighting for all sentient life, for all the good and innocence in this world. despite the harsh brutality of war, there's always innocence and goodness on the other side.

Optimus asking the child to stay put while he goes kick Decepticon aft while the kid peeks to watch the fight with absolute awe and wonder, it's just like the videogames. cue a slightly flustered Optimus feeling unsure on what to feel about a kid idolizing him and bombarding him with questions.

the wholesomeness would be diabetes inducing.

but it would be tragic too cause when Optimus finds out about human lifespans and how quickly we grow up as compared to a Transformer who can only grow up, mature in a mental sense which in and of itself takes thousands of years— it would be spark-breaking.

i also think that oppy would be very intrigued by the concept of childhood given Cybertronians don't exactly have a childhood. what is it like to be a child? to be innocent and free? Optimus will never know. closest thing he can imagine is how he used to be liked before finding out that his entire world was a lie, when he found out the truth about Sentinel Prime.

the concept of school would also be interesting for him but your classmates are more interested about the cool red truck which comes to pick you up from school because your parents are absent for plot reasons, imagine the kid flexing off Optimus' alt mode to all of their classmates like: "heh, yeah! this is my ride home." with the most smug smirk to have ever been smug.

i think at some point, for the safety of their guide, some of the other Autobots might make something similar to Coby-Bot from TF:Cybertron— a human piloted mecha suit so that the kid would walk around the Starship safely.

in short, Optimus is the dad who'd step up!!!

also, make sure to keep him away from the internet or else someday, he's going to ask what skibiddy toilet is

the funny part is that he wouldn't even realize he's being like a dad until someone points it out because again, Cybertronian don't exactly have parentage so they don't really have the concept of a dad, the closest i believe they would have to a 'father' in the traditional sense is a mentor.

anyway, that's just my thoughts though

I just have this visceral image of Unicron carrying a half dead quintesson going over to a group of thousands of half-starved humans dropping it and saying "feast my children." Then they just eat that sucker alive like some pack of organic scraplets as the Decepticons and Autobots alike watch on in horror.

idk but like megatron in tf cybertron was. . .chill? i mean the guy was on top of his daily "take over the universe" tasks but otherwise he seemed kinda nice to the decepticons. he gives starscream and thundercracker free reign to just hang out and scheme on earth. he experiences drift racing, probably for the first time, and i am very inclined to believe that he (secretly) liked it. he hires two silly goons on velocitron and they're openly doing silly things around him all the time and he just tolerates it. he even heals one of them with the dark powers he gains after being sent to the hell dimension by optimus. i think the worst thing he does to starscream in the show is call him a "flunky" (im not counting their dragon ball z brawl later on because it was clearly a duel both of them wanted and they were on equal footing). when he's fighting his last stand as galvatron and says that he's fine with sacrificing his kids the decepticons for the sake of power, i don't even believe him---tf energon megatron was actually insane and even he kept his crew around, so how am i supposed to believe that this was tf cybertron megs's endgame plan? he and optimus clearly hate each other but they feel more like tired and annoyed exes just going through the song and dance for the sake of appearances. oh AND megatron is a triple changer :O why isn't he more popular he seems like a pretty cool guy

A short crack-fic

A short crack-fic I made based on @lets-try-some-writing

and their Unicron is a Dad AU. Enjoy. Or don't. I don't give a shit.

Basically: Unicron learns about that one time Megatron almost killed Raf with a blast of Dark Energon. Let's just say, don't try and kill a favorite child of a God of Chaos.

Unicron has been watching over the children for some time now. Always as Chitters. A small squirrel that Raf has brought on. He loaths to admit it, but the three children have very much become his favorites. Esspessially Miko. A child of his own spark.

Unfortunitly, this is not about Miko. It's about the youngest of his favorites. Rafael.

Of course the day started as normal. Chitters would chew some wires, Ratchet would try and cut him down; Chitters would remain victorious. 27:0 to be precise. But who's counting? Certanly not Unicron, definatly.

Then something...odd happened. Bulkhead shot at something on the wall. Whatever it was, Unicron couldn't give two shits, as Raf immediately hit the deck. Raf covered his head with his hands and started shaking. Violently.

"Raf! Are you ok? Hey hey hey. Breath." Jack soothed. Miko rubbed Raf's back as Chitters slowly crawled his way to Raf's face. Rubbing his head against Raf's tear-stained cheek.

It took every ounce of self-restraint for Unicron to not smite Bulkhead right then and there. It was only what Jack said next that stopped Unicron in his, metaphorical, tracks. "It's alright Raf. Megatron can't hurt you here." He said it so quietly that Unicron almost couldn't hear it. He decided to wait on any smiting until after he got more information.

That turned out to be a very wise decision. As, that night, Unicron paid Raf a special visit. It was not uncommon for Unicron to visit his little ones. Especially his Special Three. NEver telling them who he actually was, out of respect for their fears. What? He may care for them but he is a God of Chaos and they know it. He doesn't exactly have a reputation for being super caring. This visit was different form his previous ones. He was not just here to comfort Raf after his day. He needed to know what happened.

As Unicron sang an ancient song to bring comfort and safety. He did a bit of exploring in Raf’s memory. Nothing invasive mind you. Just enough to get the information he needed. What he found sent fire through his very spark.

Megatron had nearly killed Raf. Deliberately. Firing a blast of Dark Energon at Bumblebee with Raf inside. A little more investigation was required. The next night he went to Jack. Then the next, Miko. He found memories of Raf’s near corpse. The felt the panic. The fear. The pain. The anger.

In his search, Unicron gained something other then just a new-found anger at Megatron. His opinion of the Special Three have changed as well. Not in a negative way. Each night just further proved why they were each the favorite.

Raf stayed alive for over an hour out of sheer force of will after the blast. Jack tried to be level headed and came up with practical solutions to help Raf survive. Miko, once again showing their similarities, made so many detailed plans to make Megatron suffer it was almost concerning. Each one got a special song those nights. Unicron had almost forgotten how much he enjoyed singing.

Unicron was furious. His once chosen champion, had tried to kill one of his favorite Children. This would not stand. The good thing about his brothers children is that they didn’t sleep, not like his superior children at least. So it was incredibly easy to torment Megatron.

For days Unicron tormented Megatron. Visions of Optimus ripping his face off. Of dying in the endless vacuum of space. Of rusting at the bottom of the ocean. Of getting his still beating spark ripped out. That last one was straight from Miko.

Unicron watched in amusement as Megatron became more and more paranoid. Praying to him, asking what all the visions mean.

While this was happening, Things were slow back at base. Chitters was still winning. 30:0. Things had quieted down. As since Megatron was being plagued by visions of his demise, the Decepticons have had little activity.

As much as Unicron loved tormenting Megatron. His focus would always be his children. His Special Three.

Taken from the Unicron is a dad AU, but what are Earth's thoughts on him making her humans more on par with Cybertronains? Like, I know she's his creation and all, but she made the humans, so I'd imagine she didn't take well to that

Earth would not at all be pleased.

She made her humans with purpose and she crafted their soft flesh for a reason. She made them less physically able in favor of adaptation. Humans are not strong as one, but as many. Their skill is in their community and collective might. Unicron altering them to be stronger, faster, and overall greater went against her design. They now had less incentive to work together, and for that reason, for the first time since her creation, she became truly upset with her maker.

Earth: WHY!?

Unicron: What? The little ones required additional strength to withstand Primus's children.

Earth: You are a fool, father. My children were not meant to grow in this way. They were intended to develop WITHOUT intervention!

Unicron: All I've done is strengthen them. I have not altered their core traits-

Moon: Why are they trying to get to me all the sudden??? Earth??? Earth why are your children trying to get to me and Mars???

Earth: Look what you've done! They aren't ready for space travel! They haven't learned enough and now they think themselves invincible because of YOU!

Unicron: *suddenly realizing his mistake* ... frag.

Earth: NO SLAG SHERLOCK

Moon: *watching the humans in fear* Honey?!?
