"Oo, that is a great question. Is it greedy if we explore all options?" Athena always appreciated Vivian's recommendations and how thoughtful they were. Athena didn't exactly think of herself as a cinephile but she was an avid renter and often felt like she was making up for all of the movies she didn't see when she was younger. Sure she had taken her siblings to see films but she had always been more concerned about them than what was on the screen. "So let's go with 3 or 4 recs? We'll give full reviews," she teased. "Which reminds me, you should come over one of these nights or over the weekends, what are your days off? I'd love to cook for you."

Vivian smiled as Athena spoke about her wife. She wondered what it was like to happy like that. Alas, that wasn't something she could have. Any partner she had would be just as messed up as her, and they'd probably just be miserable together. "How about a romcom that will make you cry at the end?" She suggested. "Roman Holiday. It's about a princess who falls in love with an American journalist." She explained. "Or do you want a run of the mill romcom and a romantic drama that will make you cry?"

"Vivian! You know, you have caught me on a good day," Athena admitted, though she was pretty sure Vivian had yet to see her in one of her grumpier moods. "Yeah we're both trying to actually take a break this weekend so I made her promise we could have a movie binge afternoon," she said, the thought of her wife making her smile. There was a time where Athena would never imagine herself happily married, gushing about her wife whatever chance she got. But now here she was, ten years into marriage and full of the same kind of joy she had been the moment she met her. "Oh? I do love a rom com, what do you got for me? Also I have a request for something to make us cry, kind of feel like we could used a good cry, super cleansing, you know?"
