Ven had found himself alone for the moment, content to let his usual friend group split off. Though that did leave him with one small problem to deal with it, but he never had a problem approaching other people. I use to watch you on my downtime," he said grinning when it clicked, "Really thought you took like a long hiatus or something."

DJ was watching Maya make a snow angel, knowing his other one was with her mother. He wasn't technically on duty but considering the last event he was still on edge in regards to the safety of his people. Glancing when someone spoke to him he chuckled having caught the earlier comment. "Yeah tell me bout it, from Texas, been here 6 years and this cold still gets to me," he said before glancing at the lake and shrugging. "Depends if my kids drag me out, likely to also end up on my ass. Pretty sure lot of folks are doing it, so you'd be in good company. Didn't get any practice last winter?"

He did not hate his hometown, but the cold was only one of many reasons why he had left. Skating was certainly not something high on his list to do again, it having been a long, long time since he had last given it a try. Glancing at the person beside him, he asked, "So, are you going to have a go out on the ice? I would, but I haven't skated in probably twenty years, and I feel I'd probably fall on my ass if I went out there."

Going so far as to say that Alizeh & Cyrus give them Elucien vibes ?! But in what fucking universe ?!
