My question is this: does the fact that its incest make a difference on if you ship it or not?

Like if it was all the same but they werent related, would you ship them more? Less? The same?

As a Thundercest shipper, I'm gonna say I'd ship them the same. It's not the incest part what really matters when it comes to shipping (that's just a plus), is the chemistry and in this case, Max and Phoebe had a lot of it, as well as the actors who portrayed them (Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo).

It's not different from other ships. Have you ever watched Smallville? well, I never really shipped Clark with his kryptonian cousin, Kara, because they don't interact a lot in the whole series, but I did ship him with this girl called Alicia, who was introduced between season 3 and season 4, because they really had a good chemistry.

So it doesn't matter if they're blood related or not. If the actors have a good chemistry, someone's gonna be there to ship them. That's why people still remember this old TV show Disney's been hardly trying to erase from their memories; Life with Derek. It wouldn't be incest (at least not technically), but people still ship these characters.

And I'm not gonna lie, incest can be a factor for some people to start shipping two characters more than usual, but that's just because of the taboo that surrounds what people tend to call "forbidden relationships". At the end of the day, I think we're all aware this is just fictional.
