does taehyung listen to hozier? because if not, someone needs to put him on immediately
#truthfully i do worry we would lose him for months. he would spend his time staring wistfully out a window listening to work song#and then another few months doing the same with like real people do#so maybe it’s for the best he doesn’t take a deep dive into his discography#but at the same time. i think his work would be a huuuge inspiration to kth :’)

𖹭── there's no other love, it's only yours...

₊˚⊹ ᰔ 𝐍𝐎 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 || MYG.
⌗🍵A/N: kinda inspired by cas' discography. I've missed doing this sm.. 🤧 pls lemme know what u think! enjoy 𖹭!
⌗🍵 no warnings, just delusion.
The moon speaks the language of night, beauty, and love. The moon sits in his eyes and underneath his tongue.
Yoongi loves just like the way he writes, the way he sings, and the way he speaks. Slow, deep, careful, and passionate. With one hand on your waist and the other one deep in your hair, his lips, ever so shy and sweet, press against yours, as if testing the waters of your very soul before allowing his body to dive head first in.
Slowly, they press harder, then longer, the shiness melts and slips right into your saliva as your lips crash together. A gentle brush turns into a sinful dance. The familiar butterflies in your stomach are wild as his hand slowly creeps its way up to your torso, and you've never felt more human than you do in his arms, inside his mouth.
Your skin, like dew drops resting on smooth leaves, quivers with every single brush of his maddening fingers. A hungry man he is, kissing on your neck, starving for the burning stardust that drops from the sky onto your skin.
His kisses taste like the combination of whiskey and a tinge of cigarettes, long sessions of work, and sleepless nights. When his teeth, the ones that peek brightly every time he gives you a smile, are never shy to carve dark red bites everywhere they can reach on your body, and your smooth skin burns as his tongue plunges into your ocean and sinks deeper, lower, down to your core, to then lift you up to highs unknown.
His kisses taste like a poet yearning for the words to spill out of his mouth and crown the little poems he often writes for you.
His kisses taste like soft petals on an early spring night. When his body is pressed against yours and the bed craddles your pair. His lips touch your temples, then your forehead, across your face, to finally reach your own in a gentle, innocent kiss.
His kisses taste like the wind, ruffling tall grass and heavy tree branches. Together, they dance and they sing, loud and passionate.
" trust you with everything, even with a sharp blade against my skin," he says, shaving foam spread all around his mouth, right after you make the joke of accidently tearing his pale skin open with the razor in your hand.
He never declared it aloud, but it wasn't hard to recognize the way he loved it whenever you shaved his face for him.
His eyes, they never lie. They watch your every single move. The way you pour your entire attention on the small task of shaving his face, A task so frequent and simple in its nature, yet so incredibly, intimate, and heartfelt, just like the kisses he leaves on your shoulder and the whispers he declares into your skin every single morning, while your limbs tangle together underneath your duvet.
It is his way of letting you, the sun and the sky above know that he's there, flesh and bones. That he breathes, loves, and cares for you, too. His way of saying: 'Thank you, for never leaving razor scars on my skin, for never letting my hands run cold, for always putting a smile on my face.'
His kisses taste like the way he loves you; slow, deep, careful, and passionate.

okay HEAR ME OUT PLEASE
reader is a pop star and she gets asked what she does in her free time and she says she watches streams. the interviewer asks her who her favorite streamer is and it’s ends up being ellie. PLOT TWIST ellie finds out her #1 supporter has been reader this entire time
Heandcannons: streamer!ellie williams x popstar!reader
masterlist
☆ Despite a jam-packed touring schedule, you religiously tune into Ellie’s streams—live or playback—because her voice grounds you in a chaotic world.
☆ You first discovered her channel during a bout of post-show insomnia, and her deadpan humor instantly hooked you.
☆ You created a secret Twitch account with a low-key username just to fangirl without suspicion.
☆ You’ve sent multiple donations under aliases, each with cheeky, flirtatious messages that Ellie lowkey reads out but never realizes it’s you.
☆ You’ve used Ellie’s stream as background noise during studio sessions, claiming her voice keeps your “vocals warm.”
☆ You’ve paused interviews just to catch her going live, hiding your AirPods under your hair while nodding at journalists.
☆ Some lyrics in your last album are heavily inspired by Ellie’s sarcastic rants and niche gamer jokes—your fans think it’s about a mystery lover.
☆ You once canceled a red carpet appearance just to catch a rare dual-stream of Ellie gaming with another creator.
☆ You anonymously follow her on all alt platforms: YouTube, Discord, Twitter. You’re a mod in her Discord under a fake name.
☆ You once DMed her on your main account but chickened out and deleted it 30 seconds later.
☆ During a late-night talk show, you’re asked what you do to unwind. You casually say, “Watch this chill gamer girl who plays horror games. Her name’s Ellie.”
☆ The crowd laughs; the host teases, “A crush, maybe?” And you smile without denying it.
☆ Fans clip the moment instantly—#PopStarEllie trends within minutes.
☆ Ellie’s chat explodes when she goes live that night. Her mods can barely control the hype.
☆ At first, Ellie thinks it’s a prank or someone else with your name—until she watches the clip herself.
☆ She replays the way you say her name five times, mouth parted slightly, stunned.
☆ Ellie deep-dives your discography, suddenly realizing how many songs reference things she’s said on stream.
☆ Her obsession flips overnight—she combs through her past chat logs looking for your fake username.
☆ She notices that you’ve been her top donor for months.
☆ Ellie goes radio silent for 3 days, overwhelmed by the realization.
☆ You DM her again—this time not deleting it—just a simple: “Hi, it’s me. Hope I didn’t weird you out lol.”
☆ She doesn’t answer for two hours. Then she replies: “Is this a prank?”
☆ Once you prove it’s really you, she sends you a voice note that sounds half shocked, half flirty.
☆ You two start talking every night after your respective work. Her Twitch chat notices she ends streams faster now.
☆ Ellie makes a playlist of songs that remind her of your voice.
☆ You ask to FaceTime, and she nearly fumbles the phone out of nerves.
☆ Ellie’s stunned by how normal you are, how you just want to talk about games and music.
☆ You send her signed merch. She blushes and says she’ll never wear it—but she sleeps in your hoodie nightly.
☆ Ellie posts less and becomes more mysterious—fans think she’s hiding a girlfriend.
☆ You drop a surprise song with lyrics clearly about “a girl who doesn’t know she saved me.”
☆ You fly her out under the radar, booking a full suite with no cameras allowed.
☆ Ellie’s heart races the entire flight; she hasn’t stopped sweating since she saw your text.
☆ When you open the door, she freezes. You’re real, you’re soft, and you’re smiling only at her.
☆ You spend the weekend together—laughing, gaming, eating room service on the floor.
☆ Ellie’s too shy to touch you at first, but you make the first move—just a hand over hers while watching a movie.
☆ That night, you fall asleep on her shoulder. She doesn’t move for hours, afraid to wake you.
☆ You sing quietly to her in the dark. She almost cries.
☆ You give her a bracelet that matches yours. She never takes it off.
☆ Paparazzi catch her at the airport leaving. Headlines explode.
☆ Ellie goes live later and jokes, “Guess I like pop stars now.”
☆ Ellie writes your name in the margins of her notebooks, like she’s a teen again.
☆ You keep sneaking her backstage—your crew knows, and they adore her.
☆ Ellie starts showing up in your lyrics more clearly, fans catch on fast.
☆ She writes you short songs on her guitar, sending you voice memos at 2am.
☆ Ellie now owns every one of your vinyls. She keeps them sealed “for protection.”
☆ Your fans notice you smiling more, dressing like a tomboy. They say Ellie’s your muse.
☆ You beg her to stream one of your shows. She refuses—too shy—but watches from the wings.
☆ When you’re stressed, she sends you memes. When you’re sad, she sends you soft voice messages.
☆ You call her “your secret home.” She calls you her “checkpoint.”
☆ Ellie starts looking at apartments in LA.
☆ After months of dating secretly, you both go public via a soft Instagram post—just hands, bracelets showing.
☆ Internet breaks. Your fans explode with support. Twitch loses its mind.
☆ Ellie goes live and nervously says, “Yeah... she’s mine.”
☆ You surprise her mid-stream with a hug. Her face turns red as the chat explodes.
☆ You do a cozy “couple stream” playing Stardew Valley. You suck at it. She carries you.
☆ Ellie wears your merch on stream now. Casually.
☆ Fans beg you to collab musically—Ellie refuses at first but agrees if she can stay anonymous.
☆ You write a love song about “a girl who used to only exist through a screen.”
☆ She writes her own love letter in music form. You post it on your secret SoundCloud.
☆ Ellie has a hoodie drawer in your tour bus now.
☆ You talk about adopting a cat together—name ideas: “Pixel,” “Jpeg,” “Lyric.”
☆ Ellie builds a mini streaming setup on your tour bus.
☆ You fall asleep on calls together every night when apart. She plays you old songs.
☆ Ellie’s growing confidence is visible. She thanks you during stream anniversaries.
☆ You let her be a recluse while giving her the world in private.
☆ She starts designing your stage outfits—hoodie inspired, always soft.
☆ Ellie keeps every note you write her, every photo booth strip.
☆ She tattoos a small icon that symbolizes your first Twitch comment to her.
☆ You jokingly propose on stream with a candy ring. She cries anyway.
☆ The world may love your music, but Ellie knows—your real voice only sings for her.

JO CAMERON, HOLLYWOODS UPCOMING IT GIRL 𓈒

JO CAMERON… JUST WHO IS SHE?
Jo entered the acting industry at just five years old with her debut in the season 13 premiere of Law & Order. When she saw herself on tv, she knew bringing characters to life was what she wanted to do for the rest of hers. The cast and crew along with viewers were all shocked at how amazing Jo’s acting skills were as she previously had no experience.
Let’s go back to the beginning to get a better sense of who Jo really is. Jo Cameron, born Jolena Merliah Lorelai Odessa Cameron, was born in Woodstock, New York, on March 1, 2006 alongside her twin sister, Julianna. She was named after Josephine March from the story Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and Lois Joanne Lane from the Superman DC comics. Jo grew up in Woodstock, New York on her family’s farm that her mother and father built after they graduated high school. At just five years old, Jo told her parents that she wanted to be an actress which wasn’t shocking to either of them as Jo grew up hosting plays in their living room with her seven siblings almost nightly.
Jo’s acting debut was so excellent that shortly after the premiere she caught the attention of many producers and casting directors. Jo got many offers but none caught her eye until she read the plot for The Florida Project. She took the role of Moonee almost immediately and fell in love with acting even more than she ever thought she could. The Florida Project was released in 2014 and ever since she’s gone on to play numerous roles stretching across many genres and winning many awards along the way.
🎬 JO’S ACTING TIMELINE
Law & Order (2011) The Florida Project (2014)
Girl Meets World (2015) Stuck In The Middle (2016)

Little Women on Broadway (2029) Avatar 4 (2029)

From the time Jo was fourteen she was already featured in “Celebrities Under 20 That You Should Watch Out For” and time has proven that her success isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Jo will earn many titles throughout her career, the most notable being “Hollywood’s Sweetheart” and “Hollywood’s Biggest Name.” Besides acting, Jo has mentioned multiple times she wants to experience many more things in her career such as becoming a singer-songwriter, a model, producer, director, and creating her own broadway play. At just twenty-four, Jo will become the highest paid actress under twenty-five and also become the youngest EGOT winner.
As of March 2025, Jo quietly resides in both Oceanside, California and Woodstock, New York to keep her grounded and connected to both her family and friends. Fans suspect Jo’s second album is in the works as Jo has just released her newest single, Shower.

I decided to make my analysis of So High School into a separate post, because I can’t help but think of this song every time I see photos of Taylor at the games. And sure, it sounds like a love song on the surface until you remember that Taylor was bullied in high school and start to dig a little deeper. Feeling "so high school" is not something a 34 year old woman wants to feel.
Let’s look at the lyrics.
"I'm sinking, our fingers entwined, cheeks pink in the twinkling lights" = To me this sounds like drowning, embarrassment, and diving in with the sharks
"Tell me 'bout the first time you saw me" = You mean her first Chiefs appearance when they 'slid off in the getaway car' at the end? Nothing good starts in a getaway car, babes.
"I'll drink what you think and I'm high from smoking your jokes all damn night" = I mean...

“I'm watching American Pie with you on a Saturday night" = What do we know about this movie? We know that it is renowned for its high school immaturity and misogyny. It’s about a bunch of horny boneheaded men who treat women like sex objects instead of people. Sounds a lot like football culture to me.
"Your friends are around so be quiet. I'm trying to stifle my sighs." = I'm in the box with your friends and family. I need to hold it together so I don't offend them, but I legit hate this.
"Cause I feel so high school" = SHE HATES THIS.
"Bittersweet 16 suddenly" = I don't think she was a fan of high school, you guys.
"Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me? It's just a game but really, I'm betting on all 3." = A clear reference to that kiss/marry/kill interview with Travis, while also saying "we're gonna get together, put on a show for everyone, and I'm going to slowly die inside until we're done."
"Get my car door, isn't that sweet. Now pull me to the backseat" = All I hear with this is Movie Director Taylor giving instructions to her leading man so they can get a good reaction from the audience.
"You know how to ball, I know Aristotle." = You're a jock. I'm a nerd. We are not compatible.
"Touch me while your bros play grand theft auto." = The official song lyrics on Spotify put grand theft auto in lowercase the first time and capitalized the second time. The capitalized GTA could refer to Travis's friends playing the video game, sure. But also - you know who was arrested in August 2023 for grand theft auto? Bashaud Breeland, a cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs who played with Travis in the 2020 Super Bowl.
"It's true, swear, Scout's Honor" = Look it up, I dare you.
And my absolute favorite:
"On the brink of a wrinkle in time" = This is TTPD, folks. Of course there's going to be a literary reference. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. The main character is a girl named Meg who is incredibly bright but struggles in school because she doesn't fit in with the other kids. After meeting a trio of badass witchy women, Meg travels to far-off worlds (a sort of deep portal time travel, you might say) where she joins the battle of light vs. darkness. What do we know about Taylor’s usage of light and darkness throughout her discography? It's giving… Reputation vs. Daylight? Shrouded in secrecy vs. out in the open? Based on everything else that Taylor has been hinting at through TTPD (not to mention Evermore and Midnights), it sounds like she is on the verge of diving into a much larger battle. And if I had to guess, I would bet that this battle will start during the Reputation re-release. Around Halloween. 🎃 When exile ends. Almost exactly 2 years after the Bejeweled music video was released. Maybe the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now cause she's dead?

I'm just speculating, but I will add that the 3rd book in the Time series is called A Swiftly Tilting Planet. There is a poem referenced through the book that goes like this:
With Ananda in this fateful hour, I place all Heaven with its power, And the sun with its brightness, And the snow with its whiteness, And the fire with all the strength it hath, And the lightning with its rapid wrath, And the winds with their swiftness along its path, And the sea with its deepness, And the rocks with their steepness, And the Earth with its starkness, All these I place with God's almighty help and grace between myself and the powers of darkness.
The word ‘Ananda’ mentioned above is the name of a character in the book, which is significant to the story because it’s a Sanskrit word that describes the eternal bliss that accompanies the ending of the rebirth cycle. If this series is what Taylor is referencing then it’s sounding more and more like she’s going to kill off Taylor TM and be done with the games, done with the reinvention. The plot summary of A Swiftly Tilting Planet says that it’s a book about "going back in time and changing might-have-beens." What decisions would she have made differently if she could do it all over again?
I don't know, friends. Take from this what you will. All I know is, this woman and all her brilliant duality is going to send me to a padded room. ✌🏻

For the last couple weeks I've been drawing logos / designs for local-ish (mostly NJ, some PA and NY) bands as warmups in the morning. Here's what I've come up with! Massive post below the break explaining each logo + where to find each band and listen to their music.

Teenage Halloween- a staple of New Jersey basements for probably about a decade now and finally getting wider recognition in the last couple years. Pop punk / power pop with a killer horn section. First time I saw them was in New Brunswick playing with Walter Etc. and Blowout. They played a killer cover "Build Me Up Buttercup" and my wife got a black eye in the pit. Recommended tracks: "Brain Song," "666," "Clarity." Their first EP is on a separate bandcamp page btw, check it out here it's great.

Sweet Pill - They will call themselves a Philly band but in my heart they'll always be from Glassboro. Definitely one of the more recognizable names on this list. Emo revival - early stuff is more twinkly, more recent stuff is heavier. All of it's great. Recommended tracks "Nephew," "High Hopes."

Shark Club - Central Jersey's finest. I'm very biased because I actually know these dudes and they did the music for my wedding. Some of the best pop punk you'll hear and the nicest people you'll meet. Recommended tracks: "Game Theory," "Bill Murray," "Heavens to Betsy."

Rest Ashore - My favorite band for the last (oh God I'm old now) eight years. From gut-wrenching emo ballads to virtuoso math-rock instrumentals they do it all. One time I got to sing vocals on "Lucy's Theme" at a house show- thank you Erica! Recommended tracks: "Hjarta," "Chinese Opera," "Devotion," "Soyuz Sweetheart." Too many bangers to name honestly, just deep dive their discography.

Morus Alba - First band I ever went to see at a house show and still one of my absolute favorites. Their music feels like the bridge between the best pitchfork, /mu/ alt rock bands and high energy basement emo. I mean that as a compliment and I hope it comes off as one lol. I should note that since 2019 Morus Alba has morphed from a band into an experimental hip-hop project so later releases sound radically different and basically disconnected from the earlier stuff. Also my favorite release from them, Live at Isabelle's, has been scrubbed from the internet but if you'd like the files just email me. Recommended tracks: "Skyscraper," "Human Resources," "The Goodnight Waltz."

Have a Good Season - another Jersey mainstay that's still going strong. Emo revival in their earlier releases, now with more 70s power pop influences in their newer stuff. See them live, they put on a fantastic show and usually play some great covers in addition to their original music. HaGS guys if you're reading this, please put your version of "Since You've Been Gone" online, I'm begging you. Recommended tracks: "Joseph / Shel Silverstein," (you have to listen to them together for the drop, so good) , "Gum, "Gleaux / Scab." Also, frontman Nic Palermo interviewed me once.

Elephant Jake - If you see any of these bands live make it EJ, they put on such a damn good show. Electrifying indie punk from the Empire State. Recommended tracks: "F.D.C." "Sarah Moyer," "Goodness to Honest," and of course you gotta learn "Sebastien Bauer" for the singalongs.

Blind Lion - Sadly one of the greats that we lost along the way. Defunct since about 2017. I only got to see them once but it was a great performance. Alongside their own stuff they played some killer covers of "Bad Moon Rising" and "Moonage Daydream." I had trouble doing a logo design for them because I actually really like the composition, if not the "Ed Hardy-ness," of their existing logo so what you see here are two separate attempts, neither of which feels entirely satisfying to me. Frontperson Larry Flately currently plays in Nematode and also handled production of Bradley Gardens joke hiphop group The Breakfast Boiz under the moniker "DJ Ova EZ." Recommended tracks: "Brumous," "Dinner."

Fighting Seasons - A band that I sadly found out about too late (via a sticker under the bridge in my town which has since been painted over). 2010s pop punk that packs a helluva punch, especially considering that I'm pretty sure the members were high schoolers for most of the band's existence. I think some members may have gone on to form Sawce (FFO Chon, Polyphia, that type of music) but I can't remember where I read/heard that so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Recommended tracks: "Fighting Seasons," "Oil on Canvas"

Milkmen- Another fallen giant, officially disbanded in 2019. Like Morus Alba, they played the very first house show I attended and their few releases remain on constant rotation in my home. Used to put on a great show and were one of the bands I always thought would make it big until suddenly they weren't around anymore. Frontman Ben Thieberger contributed guitar and vocals to Covid quarantine project Kin if you're looking for a bit of an extra fix but beyond that I don't know what these guys are up to these days, sadly. Recommended tracks: "Ramus," "Johnny Dangerously," "how sieves catch breeze," "K.O.T.H."

Stand and Wave - New York (now Philly) pop punkers delivering instant dopamine hits with every track. Another great live act, see them with EJ if you can! They often play shows together. Recommended tracks: "Convos," "Mrs. Dash," "Splashton Kutcher," "Michael Collins."

My Chemical Romance - You know who they are. While I was drawing all these other logos I ran a poll on Patreon to decide which famous New Jersey band should also be graced with a drawing from me. MCR won the poll by a hefty margin so unfortunately you won't get to see me do an illegible black metal take on Hoboken's Yo La Tengo. I ended up doing two versions: the one with the halo is the first, the one with the bats was the second. I tried to do something kind of thin and elegant with the first one and I don't think it's terrible but I also wasn't quite satisfied with it. For the 2nd attempt I tried to lean into the kind of pulpy, almost horror punk aesthetic of early MCR and I think that one looks better even if it's less original.
Anyway if you took the time to read through all this, thank you very much! And please support these bands! Also If any of the links aren't working please let me know.
-Logan

Okay this so obviously meant she wants us to compare the time gap between when she did this with Sabrina to last night because she recreated ALL of it with Gracie?!?!
Comingoutlor has never felt so true...
(LET'S DO SOME INVESTIGATING) ⬇️⬇️⬇️

-Her in lesbian flag colors with Sab/Gracie in white doing this pose, both times.
-On guitar she paired a 1989 song with a song from the artist she collabed with both times
-On piano she began with a Midnights song both times.
-AND this is her second time singing Out of the Woods in the main lesbian dress
So doing as I do best... let's do a little MATH shall we!

Both events took place 21 days apart
This means she's pointing to 21 days after today in which today is one of the final Chiefs games I expect her to attend (stay with me here)
21 days after today is a date I instantly knew, it's DECEMBER 8TH.

Not only the final Eras Tour show but it is the FIRST ever Chiefs home game that Taylor will not be there for. She scheduled right over it on purpose

And to no coincidence it is the 14TH week (Fortnight). From the first ever home game she attended on Sept 24th 2023 to Dec 8th 2024, it is exactly 14 months and 14 days.

If you've read my theories you know I believe Dec 8th is the official ghosting date and that this football performance art ends when the curtain closes on her final eras show.
Tell me this is not all the more confirming that date?????
Furthermore I've been saying that we are skipping down the yellow brick road and we will arrive at the Emerald City 1 day later when she makes her tour stop post for Vancouver
To be at the Emerald City, means it's time to meet the Wizard behind the curtain pulling the strings of the facade... on her birthday? "Meet me at Midnight" Just a few days later.
There is far too much evidence for Dec 13th comingoutlor so that is a deep dive for another post but this 1 is striking to me

In what world would being reminded that it's just another year of being trapped be the #1 thing she's looking forward to???
This completely contradicts the rest of her discography especially Peter from the same album saying that with each passing year she just became more hopeless-
Perhaps she looks forward to her birthday bcuz it marks " the one thing I wanted" 👀

Okay I made a little post about this but it’s jawing at my brain
A deep dive into Ginny Weasley’s music taste
(Not specifically 90s timeline)
SPICE GIRLS
Okay so even though it might be cringy now she was definitely so obsessed with the spice girls. With their whole girl power agenda she definitely was really into it, and they have great party music. Hermione being one of her closest friends and muggle born showed her the spice girls over one summer and gave her tons of magazines on them. Tonks offered to take her to see them but Molly said absolutely not. Favorite song Wanna be obviously, it’s her designated getting ready song.
THE SMITHS/RADIOHEAD/NIRVANA/WEAZER
Okay so, Ginny dated Dean for almost a whole year being with someone you naturally gain interest in their interest. Dean being a muggle born introduced Ginny to all sorts of muggle bands The Smiths and Radiohead having a lot of sad songs I think she found very healing with all her trauma from the chamber. Nirvana is like the OG teenage dirt bag band so yes she loves them. Nirvana reminds her a lot of Sirius so she got Harry into listening to them. Weazer came from Seamus actually, when she was getting used to being around Deans friend group music came up and Seamus lent her one of his mixtapes. Her favorite song is Back to the old house because it makes her miss time before Tom and before the war.
DAVID BOWIE
So Bowie. I think Bowie would come from Bill and Arthur. Bill was born in the early 70s so it come from his childhood. We all know Arthur loves muggle things so I think music would be incorporated in that. Bowie has a perfect blend of sad and feel good music, we know she was close with Tonks but Remus helped her through second year too and Bowie was one thing they bonded over and what made Ginny trust Remus after Tom. Her favorite song is Changes because it feels like growing up.
EMINEM/D-12
Completely George and Charlie influence. She loved D-12 first obviously but she prefers Eminem. She knows every word. To every song. Harry loves when she gets wasted at parties and just stands on the table and belts out the lyrics. She’s totally a Doctor Dre fan too. The Slim shady album is her favorite it dropped in 1999 when she was freshly 17. Charlie took her to see him when she was 19 she went all out saggy jeans, heavy smudged eyeliner, bandana. When family dinners where to serious at the Burrow after the war. Her and George would start singing the dirtiest songs to get Molly’s attention on them. Favorite song in his discography is Under the Influence.
DO DOUBT/GWEN STEFANI, BIKINI KILL
Girl power rock bands I don’t have a ton to say about them. She loves No Doubt but proffers Gwen’s solo stuff. Obviously knows them from Tonks. She gave Ginny her Tragic Kingdom vinyl which released in 1995 perfect timing for her 4th year at hogwarts when she’s angry about being left out of order business. Her favorite Gwen song is Rich Girl.
ARVIL LAVIGNE
Okay so Arvil really started getting big in 2002 when her album Let Go came out. She wasn’t super big into her with that album but followed along still. Her teammates on the Harpy’s loved her and played her music in the locker rooms. She picked up again with her when Girlfriend came out but her favorite song is Here’s to never growing up.
(Later music)
TAYLOR SWIFT
I never liked that people think Ginny isn’t girlie because she grew up with 7 brothers. Yes, she is a total tomboy but she never saw being a girl as making her weak. It was just a challenge with her brothers but it just gave her more reasons to get to prove herself. If she had Taylor in her teens her favorite album would be Red or Evermore. Cowboy like me is a perfect song to describe her and Harry. “The skeletons in both our closets plotted hard to fuck this up” perfect example of their relationships with Voldemort. They definitely avoided that they had that in common for a while but after they accepted it they where able to heal through each other. I think the song I hate it here from TTPD would be one Ginny could relate too because honestly when she was completely alone her therapy was Tom and the diary. It was where she would escape too. I think her hearing that song as an adult would have an even deeper meaning because it’s so sad and describes how lonley-ness feels beautifully.
- If you want my other opinions and more bands I think she would like feel free to ask I have so many others artist and songs
This kinda turned in to me relating Ginny to my favorite music but oh well 🤷♀️

The Haylor Timeline
Introduction
Hi! This is my unhinged deep dive into Haylor history. Before we dive in, I want to offer some background information. Feel free to skip ahead if you're here just for the timeline. Warning: this is a DEEP dive. To get the full lore of Haylor and the music it inspired, we have to talk about every piece of content containing their relationship as well as the flings and relationships they had during their time apart. If you’re looking for a surface level, to the point, outline of Haylor interactions, this will not be that.
Just incase it matters to you, the reader, to know a little about where I'm coming from. I'm approaching this purely from an informational and “investigative” standpoint, for fun of course. I’m not here to persuade anyone. I don’t care what you believe in. Haylor is not a ship I ride for. I only believe in it because of everything I found when I went digging.
I'm currently a Taylor Swift fan and a casual Harry Styles listener—formerly a stan of both. I witnessed their relationship unfold in real time and, as a 13 year old, I didn't like it. I owned every Taylor Swift album and followed her career casually since her debut. But by 2012, I was also a dedicated, jealous Directioner who followed Harry's every move through One Direction update accounts. It's those fan-run archives and their boots on the ground real time updates that now help me piece together a more accurate timeline of events. (it’s also scary how much information they would have ahead of time and be right like flight and hotel info) Throughout the years following Haylor’s breakup, I found myself reconnecting more deeply with Taylor’s music than Harry’s, especially around the release of Folklore. Like many during the pandemic, her music became a hyperfixation. I began exploring her discography with fresh eyes and found myself wanting to understand the stories behind the songs. I also stopped considering myself to be a Harry Styles fan in 2022 and that helped really see him without any bias in this timeline. It only solidified for me that he is not the best boyfriend — as his music tells us.
There was speculation that "the 1" might be about Harry, which initially reignited my curiosity (I don't believe that theory anymore). But that curiosity led me down a rabbit hole—reading old tweets, interviews, and posts to piece together what actually happened. If we set aside fan biases, speculation, and conspiracy theories, what can we learn from what's publicly documented? I apply this same lens to all of Taylor's relationships, but I'm starting with Haylor because my memory serves me with knowing what to research.
It's worth noting that there's a popular theory that Haylor was a mutually beneficial PR/bearding arrangement. I personally don't believe that, although I do suspect both of them may be queer to some degree. I'm also aware that my timeline may conflict with the widely shared Swiftgron Masterpost (Cam, big fan of the pod!) However, I listened to her Haylor episode and felt the hosts approached it with a strong bias toward debunking and not giving it a fair shot. In their defense, the timeline they read was a surface level basic intro Haylor so that’s fine. But I was inspired to share my own research. So at times I may reference comments made in that episode to offer up a counter point or explanation. But this is all in good fun!
A few quick FAQ-style answers to end off on:
Do I believe in Larry?
Short answer: no. I think Harry and Louis were both bi-curious teens. Their friendship may have blurred boundaries—what started as joking around may have evolved into something more complex. It’s not unusual for teenagers navigating friendship, identity, and sexuality. I believe whatever they shared ended when Louis began dating Eleanor, his REAL girlfriend. As for Harry, I think he eventually embraced his attraction to both men and women.
Do I think Taylor is gay?
If I had to guess, I’d say Taylor might be bisexual. I’m not fully convinced, but I’ve seen enough to keep my mind open to the possibility. While many Gaylors view her as openly queer—someone whose close circle is aware of her relationships with women—I don’t necessarily get that impression myself. To me, she reads more like a heteronormative bisexual woman: someone who may generally present as straight but carries deeper, more complicated feelings beneath the surface. I’m more inclined to believe that while she may have had girl crushes or gay experiences in her earlier years, that may not be what she identifies with now.
I think she’s someone who’s generally struggled with internal conflict all her life, perhaps shaped by religious guilt or cultural expectations—conflict that could extend into her understanding of her own sexuality. I could see her letting curiosity intrude on friendships with queer women, or unintentionally leading them on before turning her attention back to men. (And I do think she looooves men)
My perspective is shaped by her lyrics, background, personality, and how the women around her have seemed to respond over the years. There’s something there—something hard to define. Sexuality is fluid, and discovering it can be happy, free, confusing, and lonely at the same time. I think it’s a little naive to claim she’s either 100% straight or that all her hetero relationships were fake. The truth likely lives somewhere in between.
Do I believe in any Gaylor ships?
I'd love to create a full timeline on this someday. I'll be the first to admit I'm relatively new to the Gaylor space, but here recently I've been reading blogs and listening to podcasts like Fluently Forward and What I Will Say that discuss the subject. At this point, Swiftgron and Kaylor are the only ones that are worth looking into for me — not necessarily as monogamous relationships, but again; friendships crossing boundaries, conflicting feelings, hooking up, etc. Every other ship feels like a reach. I’m also not someone that thinks Taylor has ever had a beard or fake relationship. Now do I think Taylor has ever had ulterior motives when getting into a relationship? YES. But that’s a different beast.
What about Harry and Nick Grimshaw?
Honestly, I will not even be entertaining Gryles in this timeline. Sure I could believe that they’ve had a drunken hook up here and there. But if you’re going to tell me that Haylor can’t be real because Harry was dating Nick Grimshaw at that time and then your only receipts are the fact they hang out all the time, I can’t take that seriously. Sometimes people are just best friends.
Do I think Haylor was PR?
In a way, I think it was both. I believe they met and started seeing each other organically, but when they decided to go public on that fateful day in Central Park, it was a calculated move. And they full sent it until the end. It felt like Taylor (a business woman and hopeless romantic) was more eager to flaunt the relationship and profit off the publicity, while Harry valued privacy. Their body language screamed it. I think they tried to have it both ways and failed. Their current public personas reflect that: Taylor thrives on visible praise and being "loved loudly," while Harry prefers to disappear when he's not on stage. So, no—I don't believe the relationship was fake. I believe their connection was genuine, even if it was complicated.
Thanks for sticking with me if you made it this far! Just a final reminder—I don't claim to have all the answers. I don't know these people. I am always open to being wrong or hearing out other theories. While a little speculation is inevitable with these things, I do try to keep it grounded in more solid facts. If we're going to fill in the blanks, we must make sure the foundation is backed by way more evidence than assumption. And always keep it kind! Alright let’s open the case! - B

how do you find new music? you seem like someone who knows a lot about music and different music, like actually educated about it. i always get stuck discovering new stuff.
Firstly, thank you, I like to think I know a lot, but above all I am interested and love learning.
Secondly, I don't know how you listen to music, like what platform you use or whatever. With all it's faults, I love Spotify. I personally rarely encounter an absolutely abysmal Discover Weekly, there's always something interesting, something good there. Sometimes I leave my interest at liking one song and sometimes I get thorough with it all and go through a band/artist's entire discography.
I also discover new music on Youtube. Idk if your Recommended vids look like mine, but I often get recommended like full albums by artists I've never heard of and it ends up being a hidden gem, something actually genius that the artist hasn't uploaded anywhere else or just some ancient forgotten music.
Also I discover new music through music Youtube channels, like my favourite is Trash Theory bc they do these deep dives on various genres, scenes, artists etc. They present insanely good research and I just get so sucked into it all and find so much good stuff which also then makes me better informed about context, history, influences etc. Another way I find music is by watching those "what's in my bag?" videos by Amoeba Records youtube channel where they invite mostly famous, well known people who then talk about music, cds, records they have chosen and get to be enthusiastic abt it which then makes me more interested.
And then I just scour the internet for music, like going thru reddit pages, seeking recommendations, browsing lists etc. I listen to everything, I give everything a chance, some things suck, for some things it's just bad timing.

I've been playing The Sims games for 17 1/2 years. I always preferred the soundtrack for TS1 over the TS2 because I thought the music was too weird and not at all like the chill soundtrack of the first game. At some point during those 17 1/2 years, I learned the music for TS2 was done by Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO, but since the only song of theirs I knew was "Whip It", I didn't think that had anything to do with the quirkyness of the soundtrack so I completely forgot about it.
After buying the rereleases of The Sims 1 & 2, launching The Sims 2 for the first time in years and listening to the music, having that jog my memory about the soundtrack composer, decide it was finally time for a deep dive into the discography of DEVO, then taking said deep dive...
Yeah, I get it now, haha. It's been fun relistening to TS2 music after having listened to more of DEVO besides "Whip It". It's given a whole new perspective on the soundtrack, honestly I'm enjoying it waaay more than I ever did as a kid.

This isn't on the docket for a while, but might as well put it out there. Getting increasingly annoyed with the Nick Jonas on that mashup and I don't think its slow start first half would impress strangers much, but as mentioned there, I need another song to fill the space.
Third poll option is really "something mumble mumble Chappell Roan/Billie Eilish/Charli XCX/Lorde (in some combination with Olivia and possibly Sabrina) something" but I just don't know their discographies well and am unlikely to deep dive to find out. So yeah, if you vote for that one you have to actually give me a suggestion, them's the rules. Other artists not listed here welcome. Replies and anon asks are open, so be as incognito as you'd like.
Please keep in mind that Olivia's JeraJera WILL be non-negotiably on there, so I'm looking for lyrical resonance. Option 2 is obviously leaning towards Taste.
For reference:
#morning musume#jealousy jealousy#not tagging the other artists this time they don't need this baggage#mashup#category: my stuff#category: idols#I am not much feeling gracie abrams; addison rae; or tate mcrae at this time#but if the lyrical resonance is that good I will consider it#you belong with me is already on the docket for its own mashup

Just read a headline that Billy Joel was diagnosed with a form of hydrocephalus and it made me remember when I was six or seven years old and I thought this was one of the greatest songs of all time. I also thought "Achey Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus is good so I did not have the most sophisticated musical palette, due to the aforementioned fact that I was six year-old.
This song still holds up, though. I don't think it's my favorite Billy Joel song. That'd be "The Stranger."
youtube
I've always had this soft spot for Billy Joel that hasn't faded away. His songs are just that good. I've never done a deep dive into his discography the way I have with many of the bands I love, but I made my mom replay his Greatest Hits over and over again on cassette tape, which makes me feel ancient saying despite 38 not being that old. I do still feel like this way more often than I'd like to, though.
youtube
Billy Joel was one of the rare artists that my mom decided that she still liked after divorcing my dad, who was mostly a prog rock guy but he was also a musician, and one of the coolest things about him is that he never lost interest in discovering new artists. My mom, meanwhile, turned her taste aggressively normie, distancing herself from rock music to the point where I barely heard her listen to the two bands that she now claims have been her life-long favorites; Talking Heads and The Cure, two bands I would hear a lot on the radio but she didn't own any of their albums. But she held onto Billy Joel's Greatest Hits, and my dad would notice me getting excited when Billy Joel first showed up on the (then brand new) classic rock station (104.3 The Colt on WZFT). This would lay the foundation upon which my taste in music would be built, and to my dad's credit, he was just really happy that I was passionate enough about music to want to buy albums that he was willing to put up with me getting really into Spice Girls, Alanis Morrissette, and Will Smith though he was incredibly relieved when I requested he put on the alternative rock station a few months later because I'd discovered Nirvana and there wasn't any going back from that.
But even after I'd gone all in on 90's alternative rock, I'd still come back to Billy Joel. And Billy Joel would never really leave. "Piano Man" being secretly about the narrator being a straight guy playing at a gay bar without knowing it became a meme on this very site.
youtube
And of course...

I don't know all of the details about Billy Joel's divorce(s?) and I'm not really sure I care enough to look that information up. The man's career was considered dead by the time I was aware of who he was. I still had "The Stranger" on a CD I burned with a bunch of other very random artists and songs I found on Kazaa and I'm pretty sure I was an adult by the time he started really touring again.
I don't know if I'll ever see Billy Joel live. The tickets are well out of my price range; I wince looking at ticket prices for shows that are above $50 and he's not in the very small number of bands that I would try and go out of my way to see. But I do hope he's able to play more live shows eventually. I've heard he puts on a good show.

time for random music recs with Crowe! here are five things I discovered recently that rip. none of them sound like each other. remember that I am an insane person.
WASH IT ALL OFF - foetus. okay so my partner is doing deep dives into various forms of occultism and chaos magic for a writing project and I am slowly circling the history of industrial music because of who I am as a person. which means they mentioned something about J.G. Thirlwell the other day from the area they know him from and I excitedly chimed in with what I knew him from (producing and playing on some of Coil's best records and generally running with that whole extended scene) and then I realised I've never really listened to Foetus (and all its alternate names) and honestly this song fucks so hard I haven't been able to get past it. the unhinged circus organ lick! SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICSADOMASOCHISTIC! Thirlwell also scored, uh, the entirety of THE VENTURE BROS. so.
BLODYN GWYRDD - tristwch y fenywod. another occultist rec! Phil Hine wrote some great shit about queerness and chaos magic in the 80s and 90s and also he maintains a charmingly low-key online presence chatting with other hobbyists and weirdos (appears to be pals with Justin Hopper of Old Weird Albion and of course Ghost Box Records). anyway he recommended this Welsh psych folk goth freak folk band on his bluesky account (shhh I'm so CHARMED) and I'm immediately obsessed. this is the kind of wet mossy slime magick music you want for reading an issue of Hellebore Magazine or Plastiboo's VERMIS or going off into the woods alone. synthy drums, off-kilter hammer dulcimer, drone and howl. fucking NICE.
KITE WAR - hyukoh + sunset rollercoaster. my friend JD @weekenddracula posted he was listening to this album while journaling at the library and something perked my interest -- it FUCKS. collaboration between two of the biggest names in indie rock (funk/soul/r&b/little bit of 70s dreampop and classic Japanese citypop) in Taiwan and Korea. so much fizzy, jammy production, great Mamas And The Papas-esque/2007 US/Canadian indie rock layered vocals, saxophone that skims over you like a wartenberg wheel. grooves for DAYS. obsessed. if you like Nujabes, Handsomeboy Techninique, Cornelius, or RM's recent killer album Right Person, Wrong Place, you'll dig this. stimulating but also incredibly relaxing.
ADVENTURES IN GREEN FOOT PRINTING - james ferraro. so I guess this bloke was doing vaporwave before it was vaporwave? I've only explored a little of his discography but this album (FAR SIDE VIRTUAL, 2011) is incredible. vibey, tactile, the sounds of 90s tech optimism with room for play and invention. this is a really, really playful track, with cascades of giddy piano and synthy keyboard choruses.
YUCKY BLUCKY FRUITCAKE - doechii. did you hear this when it was a tiktok personal introduction meme? complete disservice to a great, weird little autobiography, playing with sound, playing with genre, playing with confession, playing with expectation. Doechii's vocals are a fucking rubber band. there's shades of theatre kid; the riff on Paramore's "The Only Exception" is incredible. the bridge of "you forgot to take the chicken out" is the most oldest-daughter shit I've ever heard in my life. this is an INCREDIBLE track, sampling without sampling, irreverent and earnest. anyway Doechii's recent mixtape rules and so does her Tiny Desk Concert. uh. I'm gay
