They looked up at Gregoriah and tried to push themself off of the ground into a sitting position.

"Uhhmm.. y-yeah I'm alright, I just kinda tripped. Sorry.. owch.."

They approached Gregoriah, they were giving him a small wave as their tail calmly swished.

"Hello!.. If you don't mind- GUH!"

They suddenly tripped right infront of him, falling right onto their face.

"Aghh.. ow.."

His tail perked up as he looked over his shoulder. "Yes? D-Do you need something?" He knelt down to check on them. "Are you alright?.."

(ooc post ! introduction to side characters!)

Hi everyone! These are some side characters that will appear in this! I haven't really drawn all of them, so here's their roblox versions !

Bottom right: S, she/they, 20, 5'8". Her text will look like this and she speaks in all lowercase. She is Bug's best friend and a fellow coworker. She's a little rebellious, but also pretty chill.

Bottom left: Vesper, he/they/it, 39, 5'11". His text will look like this (including chat font). He is Bug's boss (and also a bit of a father figure to them.) They are very formal and caring.

Top right: Chopper, she/they/it, 26, 5'9". Her text will look like This and she Speaks Like This. She is a coworker of bug, and seems to be very nice, but there's definitely something wrong about her. Hmm..

Top left: Fog, they/it, 17, 4'11. Their text will look like this. They're.. kind of a coworker? They're very catlike and they usually have wide eyes. They tend to stare alot, whether it's off into space or directly at somebody. They have hypotropia in their left eye. They're also incredibly fluffy :3 Fog also has their own blog! @forgetful-wanderer-fog if you're interested.

! EVENT !

S paced in a circle inside the waiting room of a hospital, while Vesper was leaning against the wall, tapping his foot anxiously. Something bad had happened in the bakery.

"how long do you think it'll be 'til he's okay?!"

"I don't know, S. I'm not even sure what attacked them."

"it was that damn cotton candy thing again.. i don't know w-why it keeps coming b-back.."

Vesper sighed. This wasn't the first time an appearance of pink and blue cotton candy beast showed up.. and it likely wouldn't be the last. He was properly angry, it was unusual seeing him like this.

"Damn it. I need to figure out what that.. thing is. It always manages to get away before I can catch it.."

"urggh.. why can't it just.. f-fuck off?!"

"I don't know. I wish I did, but I don't."

The door to the waiting room opened. A nurse stepped out and greeted the two.

"Alright. We've got results. It seems Bug was.. poisoned by some unknown substance, and that he'll have to stay with us for a couple of days. We estimate about a week."

"..d-days?! a-a week?!?"

"..I see. I'll.. see what I can do about that.."

"...c-can we visit him..?"

"I don't think so. Atleast, not today. He seems to be in high levels of panic and it would be best to let him calm down first before being visited."

"...grh.. okay.."

Vesper walked up to S and put a hand on her shoulder.

"It's alright, S. They'll recover, even if it takes a while. And we'll be there for them."

"..i.. y-yeah, you're right.."

They sighed, nervously laughing and putting a hand behind their head.

They smiled, happy to recieve headpats. It reminded them of their brother.

They seemed to be lost in thought for a moment before gently taking the cracker and eating it.

They gave a small wave and smiled awkwardly. Their tail slowly swished from side to side as they started to fidget with their hands.

Oc Info: Bug is an humanoid creature with green skin, antennae, wings, and a tail. Bug is 22, 5'5", and goes by all/any pronouns. They have long fluffy bright green hair. They wear a green uniform, a lime bow, dark green pants and shoes, a grey apron, glasses, and sometimes white gloves. They're pretty awkward, but they try their best :D They're also an insomniac, so they're usually pretty tired most of the time. Bug is also autistic !! They have a few friends, and I might include them in some of these posts ! :DDD Side characters below!

Little insect.. how could you forget what happened to him, let alone the day it occured? Didn't you care about him so very much? I know he cared for you, too. But.. I think he's changed. ;)

They had a horrified expression on their face as terrible memories started to resurface. They took several steps backwards as those memories replayed in their mind.

"No.. nonono.. L-leave me alone.. Why are you m-making me remember.. w-what you did to him?!"

They were startled at first, but they became confused when they were given the soft blanket and hot chocolate. They hesitantly wrapped the blanket around themself and smiled.

"O-oh.. thank you..! But uh.. how exactly do you knnow that..?"

They took a sip of the hot chocolate.

S and Vesper carefully help Bug out of the hospital, making sure they wouldn't trip on their way back to their apartment. It had been almost a week since Bug had been put in the hospital, and they had recovered enough to go home.

"We're glad you're back, Bug. We've all missed you very much."

"yeah.."

"O-oh.. uhm.. s-sorry.."

"No, it's alright. You have nothing to be sorry for, it wasn't your fault."

"mhm, we're really just glad you're okay."

"..Ohh.. o-okay.. th-thank you.. uhmm.. Do I.. h-have to.. go back to.. w-work..?"

"No, you don't have to. We're taking you to your apartment so you can rest."

"O-okay.. I.. I wanna s-sleep.. h-had a.. nice.. dream last night.."

"Alright.. you can rest in the car, okay?"

"Okay.."

The three of them got into Vesper's car, and Vesper began to drive away from the hospital and to Bug's apartment. During the car ride, Bug's eyes slowly drooped, and they quickly fell asleep while they drove them home.
