☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN has always been one to put others before herself. Whether that be making sure everyone’s at full health or giving up her tapes to stop Dandy from twisting make Dandy happy, the shell’s taking care of the wellbeing of her friends first —so obviously that doesn’t stop when it comes to you. Hell, her selflessness only grows drastically when she’s by your side.

☆ It’s not the hardest to tell she’s got the hots for you, especially when you’re always the first person getting boosted when on a machine. She tries not to make it so obvious, even when she’s not in your line of sight, but it’s legitimately SECONDS after you touch the damn thing. The purple aura surrounding you and Shelly’s eager little giggle is all you hear before she disappears. [ it’s the cutest thing ever I swear. ]

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN who isn’t one to shy away from making it known that you’re her one and only. From matching dinosaur bracelets that Cosmo and Sprout helped her to make to the affectionate nicknames you both have for each other, it's plain to see that the two of you are more then engaged with each other.

⤷ There was a time where Shelly hadn’t been careful enough, and had the bracelet break in front of her eyes the moment the elevator door closed, leaving the beads and charms scattered across the hardwood tiles of floor twenty four. She was devastated, and Tisha had to help her calm down, tell her that there’s no possible way you’d break up with her just because the friendship bracelet had shattered.

And of course you weren’t mad, you’d never be, especially at an unfortunate accident like that. You instead purposed the idea of making new, much more adorable matching bracelets for the two of you. Something that better reflected your new found relationship with each other.

“You sure y-you’re fine with it?” Shelly muttered out, still recovering from the past run.

“I’d be more than happy to re-create them, and they can be new this time! We’ll spice ‘em up so that they match again.” You reply back, huffing when Shelly comes to hug you tightly. You flash a small smile to Tisha standing not too far away, one that says a small “thank you” for her help earlier. The tissue box can only snicker lightly to herself before carrying on wards to her room.

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN who is just a sucker for any form of physical contact with you. Surprise hugs from the back are her go to for when you’re not looking, and cuddling till the two of you fall asleep in each other’s arms? Must be Toon Heaven for this girl.

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN who just can’t help but hold onto every piece of love you’ve given her. The shells sentimental to a fault, and she can’t find it in herself to get rid of every little treasure you’ve given her, even before the two of you started dating. It might be an old hoodie you once left at her place and never went back to retrieve, or a pretty tube of mascara left stranded on the vanity in her room. Whatever it may be, she holds onto it like it’s the last piece of you she’ll ever get.

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN just can’t help but ramble and ramble and info dumb on your 24/7, 365. To the average toon, this would’ve drove them crazy out of their MIND annoyed, but you stay silent as she chirps away about the newest facts on Theropods and such. It’s cute, and seeing Shelly being so passionate about the one thing she adores with all of her heart [ besides you ] makes you adore her even more.

⤷ On a side note, you’re constantly heading to Gardenviews ginormous library, containing information on a wide variety of topics you hadn’t even know about. There’s no need for Brightney to guide you over to the dinosaur section —that you’ve been able to locate on your own for quite a while now— and it’s always where you find Shelly, cooped up on her favorite teal beanbag, nose deep in Dinosaur facts. It’s not until you find yourself on a similar pink beanbag does she take note of your presence, scooting herself closer to you so you’ll be able to read together. Truly though? You’re just here to be in her presence, and that’s all you need.

- accidentally makes so many messes,, hes a bit more vulnerable / sensitive and cries whenever he does and cosmo assures him he doesnt mind cleaning it up and its not his fault,, sprout tries to help in the ways he can and always feels super bad whenever tisha comes and knows its a flour mess, a cookie mess or a milk mess,,

Hello! This is the first time I've ever done an ask or anything like that so I'm sorry if I say something wrong. I just wanted to say I love your art and comics so much! Keep up the good work and take breaks as needed! I have a few questions if you don't mind me asking (it's long sorry about that).

When does the exam take place? I know (I think) that you said that Teams Delta and Echo are about 3 years old? And the main storyline starts off with teams G and F being created. So when specifically does the exam for making new teams start?

2. Who are the operators for teams B and C? I think team Alpha's operator is Vee (A1), but I don't think the operators for teams Bravo and Charlie have ever been introduced yet. I don't know if this question has been answered yet or if I overlooked something.

3. Tying into the second question about operators, after team Gamma was created, there was a Tisha as the operator by the name of Clora or Clara (idk I can't decide if it's an o or an a). I haven't seen any mention of her after comic two of the main storyline, and I'm wondering if it's intentional. Will we see more of them later on?

The exams usually take place every two years, however, new teams are not always made when an exam is done. Sometimes its for recruiting reserve team members or instructors. The pass rate is actually very low for these, Team F and G are considered a "miracle" group since so many passed.

2. You'll meet said characters soon. I'm trying to hold them off since the comic will reveal them for me.

3. Same as 2. Clora. Due to the nature of this comic a lot of characters come and go- especially if they aren't a main character. However, side stories focuses on the specific teams and such will go in depth for these other characters.

Story:

Taking place after II 17, Meeple began to fall on hard times without the power from the Prime Shimmer. Thus, Cobs searched for a new way to improve Meeple’s products. Instead of looking for answers in space, he searched for answers underground, leading him to find an unknown substance called Ichor. Using the ichor, any and all creations that were connected to Melife could live without the program being unplugged or destroyed. The project was successful, spawning 32 experiments. However, 6 of them became unstable. One of them now roams the shadows around Meeple. It’s unknown what the future for Meeple holds from this point on, but Cobs hopes to make it work.

spawns in ur inbox with my hands politely folded. hello hazard-c-horror. it's been quite a few days now, and i've only Continued to fall down the dandy's world rabbit hole eihsihssh SO, since you're the only Other Person i know about that's Insane abt D.W *and* SAMS, i would like to throw Thoughts inspired by your SAMS x D.W au I've been having .D.

i was hella inspired by the character sheets you made for moon, eclipse, lunar, and solar, so. take some Thoughts for how sun, earth, and kc would work in the game digsgskqj

(btw- this disclaimer might be a bit silly- but idk if you already have Planned Out Stuff for these characters n their abilities n stuff, and i Apologize if you do- this isnt me trynna like take over your au or smtn, its just me being autistic dgsigaiya that being said, do with these ideas as you will, you have free reign over anything you do w them lmao)

Sun:

OKAY so yk how he can turn ppl into geese n stuff in canon? i feel like his transformation magic could actually be his ability. as a toon, he has the ability to turn either Himself or other toons into an object (like a soda can or chocolate bar) for 5-ish seconds. he could do this to Instantly de-agro any twisted's chasing either him or other toons, and the 5 second break could be just enough time for stamina to rebuild so even if the twisted does still spot the de-transformed toon again, they have more time/stamina to run and hide

THAT BEING SAID. his twisted form would be the exact Opposite of this- he'd be able to mask himself as an item and attack/agro onto any toon who'd try to pick him up. he'd be a lot like twisted rodger, just for items instead of capsules. and ofc there would be things making it obvious that the item wasn't trustworthy- like discoloration or added bits on it. if you have a keen eye, avoiding him is Easy :)

i have like a couple thoughts for his mastery item. first one that came to mind was a Cat Plush, which when equipped it has a “calming effect”, and ups your stealth up by around 10-ish percent, making it harder for twisted's to spot you. but then i also thought “haha Wine Bottle”, which i thought that (when close enough) it could instill the “confused” effect on nearby twisted's, and make it harder for them to see nearby toons. so both items would do the same thing, just go about it in different ways

Earth:

she deffo has an ability like tisha's or shelly's, where it helps out the other players instead of herself. im thinking she's able to heal others for one heart every two minutes. a basic ability, but bro methinks this game needs a healer besides teagen, who can only heal herself dosyohsshs the Easy way to go about it is that she can just.. go up to (aka Click) on another player to heal them, but she could also just have a “medical bag” on hand where she whips hella bandages out the wazoo and gives them to whoever needs em dishiaha

okay as a twisted this girl gives me MAD razzle and dazzle vibes in how she functions. but instead of sleeping, i can imagine her constantly Crying and remaining in one smalllll specific area, patrolling it, almost. she can be led away by Distractors (goob, pebble, ect), but once they've de-agroed her, she'll start slowly walking back to her patrol spot. the best way to deal with her is to have someone else agro her and lead her around while You fix the machine she's working on, or vice versa :) but you Can still beat her on a solo run, bc she has rather slow walk-speed when getting back to her patrol spot where you could beat her back to it after leading her away. it'd just be a Lot easier w multiple people digdihsah

and her item?? first thing that came to mind is a barbie doll. or just a “pink girl doll” bc. copyright sigsiszvah it would be an Active item (like the wrench or bottle of pop), where at the start of every round, she could place it down somewhere, and it makes noise, which leads the nearest twisted right to it. ofc we dont want it Too op, so once a twisted makes contact with it, its destroyed and returns back in earths inventory, ready to be used next round .D.

Killcode:

kc is a Complex one- i think this guy would have slow walk speed, but a fast run speed. so i think he'd be a good “distraction” character, like goob or pebble. HOWEVER. i think it'd be sick as *hell* if his ability, using his size, literally made it so that he could momentarily Pick Up Other Toons and carry them away from any twisted's chasing them. he'd prolly only be able to do so for 3-ish seconds, but it could be a saving grace for anyone out of stamina being chased .D.

now. as a Twisted. this👏man👏deserves👏lethal👏status👏 his name is LITERALLY KILLCODE i refuse to believe he cant one-shot a bitch sisgiaga due to him literally being a Being made to perfectly hunt/kill, i think how twisted kc would act is that he'd spawn in at the start of a new floor, a Sound Queue would play so that toons know he's on the floor. and now he's just.. somewhere. hiding. *waiting*. hes normally spawned behind corners or nearby machines, where its either easy to run into him or hard to avoid him. hes not Impossible to beat tho- i imagine he emimates a very quiet sound byte, so hes still avoidable on blackout floors, even if he's not visible. and that byte also helps on just normal floors too ofc. best way to deal with him is to listen to his sound queues and *be very aware of your surroundings*. cause if he spots someone, he is *hard* to lose, and hes lethal if he gets ya. once freed from his waiting spot, he's not going back to it. instead, he'll be moving around the map like a faster, but also Louder, dandy. Scary!!

aaand his item. i came up with a “soup ladel”. cause. heh. yk, because he volunteered in soup kitchens in canon? .D.? i think im Funny siosgiaa what it'd do is up the spawn rate of better Food/Drink items on every floor. think instead of soda cans spawning on floor 1, there's a higher/better chance for soda bottles to spawn instead .D.

U stands for "unity." characters who usually only serve to build a connection between the audience and the toons. toons manning interactive stations and events. brightney has her book club and library, teagan has their tea parties, finn has his jokes (and is like a mini-shelly but for aquatic life), connie has spooky stories and tricks, rnd have their performances, rodger is like a babysitter or a caretaker watching over kids at the center (hence the "keen eye"), and toodles was made to be a character that kids can relate to

C is for "commercial." toons that don't have much relevance in the show aside from being in promotional material or merchandise. poppy has her pop. boxten is probably a companion character to poppy. shrimpo is often the center of bullying psas. cosmo and tisha are usually shown alongside sprout and shelly but the staff deemed them "uninteresting" to be in the rare tier. looey and yatta were made to capitalize on the kids' entertainment industry

Special-Toons AU: Common Character Sheets

Bios:

C-001: Boxten Treble ~ The musical maestro of GardenView, Boxten Treble is a big toon with a gentle heart. Not afraid to get his hands dirty, he's considered the handyman of the center as well as one of two center trainers. As head of the Extraction/Support Department (ESD), he helps other toons with skills such as hand-eye coordination and patience. When he's not in the middle of a lesson or fixing something in the center, he can be heard playing whatever song's stuck in his head—literally.

C-002: Poppy Burstine ~ An upbeat toon with a punk chic, Poppy Burstine is always up to something and down to tussle with danger. She serves as an assistant for new toons within GardenView, being one of two center trainers alongside Boxten. As head of the Distraction/Survivalist Department (DSD), she helps other toons with skills such as endurance and environmental awareness. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she can be seen floating around the center carefree. Just be careful with sharp objects around her, or she'll be sure to pop!

C-003: Tisha Shu ~ The primary (and only) janitor, Tisha Shu, is one of the hardest-working toons seen in GardenView. She's the one responsible for keeping the center clean and looking out for the other toons, albeit her obsession with cleanliness as well as her mild germophobia play a part in her work. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, though not without a set of gloves to use.

C-004: Shrimpo Basston ~ The most hot-headed toon in GardenView, Shrimpo Basston is not an easy crustacean to befriend. Despite being blind in his right eye, he can deal a heavy blow thanks to his trusty gloves. Although he prefers to pick fights and settle things "the old-fashioned way" than talk it out, he still has a softer spot for a few select toons.

C-005: Cosmo Brown ~ Cosmo Brown, the enthusiastic baker at GardenView, is a softie at heart. He encourages others to do their best and boosts the morale of (almost) everyone at the center. He has a close affiliation with Sprout, often seen in the kitchen baking alongside him. If only he wasn't as shy as he is sweet…

C-006: Looey Houndini ~ Looey Houndini, an expert on all things circus, is a goofy toon at heart. Appearing in the GardenView center in tandem with Connie, he sticks by her and looks up to her for advice. Though a bit shy, he's always up for fun and games whenever it is asked of him. He's thought about forming a circus troupe, but has yet to seek out willing members.

C-007: Yatta Tadarida ~ An energetic toon with a dangerous sweet tooth, Yatta Tadarida is the eyes in the sky within GardenView. A skilled acro-"bat" at heart, she's found comfort being alongside Looey and always has his back whenever he needs it. Her speed and agility stem from the bubbling need to consume and store candy and other sweets, further aiding in the use of her specialty. This obsession has affected her mentally, however, to the point where she believes to see an imaginary figure she calls "a silent friend"...

Random Dandy's World headcanons I have

Rodger and Teagan are Toodles' parents. However, she's adopted, which is why she often refers to them by name. (teacase aaaaaahhh)

Sprout is chubby bc yes.

Finn has a really low pain tolerance. He would cry over stubbing his toe.

Shrimpo is secretly extremely protective over Toodles. If anyone harmed her, he'd kick their ass.

Glisten is a gay uncle figure to Toodles. So is Boxten. (jewelrybox go wee)

Sprout and Cosmo have a crush on each other, and while they never made it official, they act like a couple. (fruitcake go brrr)

Shelly = Vee's pookie (hehe shellvision)

Shrimpo is extremely touch-starved, but he refuses to ask for hugs, cuddles, headpats, nose boops, kisses, etc and he hides when he has mental breakdowns or panic attacks. (angst hehe)

Tisha has OCD. If anything is out of order, she HAS to fix it.

Toodles = AUTISM

Coal is spayed, but neither she nor Pebble know that and they want to have puppies. (no, they're not related in any way. If you headcanon that they are, that's fine, but keep in mind that in my AU, they're not)

Sprout has a fluffy leaf tail that wags when he's happy. He doesn't even bother to deny it.

While Cosmo is really good at baking, he CANNOT cook actual food for the life of him. Give him a microwave pizza and he'll find a way to set it on fire. He always has to ask either Ginger or Sprout to cook for him, or he just gets take-out. How many wrong ways can you use a microwave? Cosmo's done them all.

Boxten struggles with social interactions. He never talks to anyone he doesn't know unless he absolutely has to.

Boxten has glasses. Even though he's supposed to wear them all the time, he usually only wears them when he has to read something because he thinks they make him look like a geek. (insecurity alert)

Scraps and Goob are Boxten's cousins.

Dandy has attachment issues. He gets anxious when a friend stops talking to him for too long (aka a day 💀)

Toodles is really stupidly strong despite her age.

Shrimpo claims that he hates cats, but he secretly owns one.

Boxten knows Japanese. He learned it from his oldest brother.

Boxten is also the youngest of nine brothers and sisters.

Tisha is the type of person to run herself ragged just to keep things clean and in order.

Finn is nineteen years old and he's still afraid of the dark.

Boxten can't handle chocolate very well. Ironically, he still enjoys eating it. (me lmao)

When Connie and Looey have sleepovers, Looey tries to kick Connie off the bed in his sleep.

Coal is extremely lazy. She'll stay in one spot for hours.

Pebble sees himself as being the same as wolves. The only real difference is that he has Dandy to feed him.

When Toodles is picked up, she'll screech like a pterodactyl. She hates being picked up, unless it's Rodger or Teagan.

Rodger was thought to be mute as a child due to not having a mouth, but he slowly taught himself how to talk. Due to this, his grammar isn't the best.

Dazzle is slightly shorter than Razzle, so the two of them walk a bit funny, but it doesn't cause them pain and that's all that matters.

Despite not being in Brightney's book club, Razzle does enjoy reading, but he's not the biggest fan of Dazzle's reading tastes, so it usually puts him to sleep.

Gigi teases Cosmo and Ginger by saying they're dating. (They're not though, this isn't- well, I am in Alabama, but you know what I mean!)

Rodger calls Toodles 'sunshine' bc yes.

Shrimpo is a big back. Not as much as Toodles, but he could be in his bedroom with 30 bags of chips all to himself at any time-

Toodles has a little fluffy tail and paw beans on her hands and feet because yes.

Looey's tail usually never stops wagging, so if it does, something is very wrong.

Finn used to cut his shoulders and thighs when he was younger, but he doesn't do it anymore and he's nothing but happy now. He doesn't even bother to hide his scars, since Gigi told him it's a sign he went through something tough, survived it, and came back stronger.

Rodger has a country accent bc yes.

Shrimpo likes dandelions. Even though they're technically weeds, he thinks they're beautiful and they calm him down during his mental breakdowns.

Looey identifies as non-binary. While he's okay with he/him, he prefers they/them pronouns.

Boxten likes sitting in boxes. He finds it comfortable.

Boxten and Poppy have been best friends since they were practically babies. They're inseparable.

Toodles likes to sing in the shower.

Astro writes in his diary with a glittery gel pen.

Cosmo owns and wears Hello Kitty socks, though he's embarrassed about it.

Looey tackles and wrestles people to show affection.

Connie makes Your Mom jokes.

Dazzle is really scared of dogs.

Rodger has fallen asleep when working several times. Like Tisha, he tends to run himself ragged.

Sprout won't pass up the opportunity to spend time with Cosmo, and even hides when he's sick to do it. as soon as Cosmo finds out, he's the one to take care of him until he gets better.
