Khao, the resident Sans. Nicknamed after the Khao Manee cat, in-universe his most common nickname is “Diamond Eyes”. He’s a fan of the bling, as one might imagine. He also tends to claw the shit out of anything he tries to touch without wearing thick gloves to blunt his claws. Thankfully, Papyrus at least appreciates that. Despite an abrasive-seeming attitude, he’s actually pretty caring under it and is very respectful of the boundaries of anyone with his respect or under his protection.

Favourite headcanons pt. 1

Schmendrick becoming very emotional the day he finds his first grey hair, because it is another reminder that he is mortal again.

Molly wandering off alone in the Greenwood in the hope to finally – finally! – see a unicorn. She knows it won’t come, but she desperately needs reassurance. She had stopped singing – as Cully comments even if he does not know the reasons - since she had finally realized and accepted it was just wishful thinking, after an entire, last night spent out in the cold with her hearth in her mouth.

Schmendrick idolizing Nikos and getting extremely defensive when someone just as much hints that his mentor might not be perfect. He still has deep unresolved issues with his curse, so he needs to put Nikos on a pedestal and convince himself that he can absolutely do no wrong and that the curse was a favour. Otherwise, he would be forced to deal with the anger and bitterness he feels and tries to choke down.

Molly having a knack for arts. She had given up on every artistical pretension a few years into her life in the Greenwood, not only for practical reasons, but also because it made her feel even more miserable and her life wasted. She had resumed them some time after the canon events of TLU.

Molly being super caring and patient to Lìr while in Haggard’s castle because each time she sees him, she remembers a baby left out in the cold and snow. She cannot turn him down even when he is pestering her at late hours, while she is still working.

Schmendrick being unable to remember his real name and age. Molly would try to trick him sometime, to see if he unconsciously remembers, but he would just smirk awkwardly and shrug. That shrug really saddens Molly.

Molly being tempted while in the Greenwood to add poisonous mushrooms to the soup and put everyone out of their misery during particularly hard times, herself included. She had been dangerously close to do the deed in a couple of occasions.

Molly loving children and wishing for one but being determined not to have any while at the Greenwood in fear of what would have happened of them. She would have gotten extremely panicky each time her flow was late (which happened often since she was malnourished) and did anything to keep Cully away from her, from not taking care of herself, being bitter and abrasive and overall unpleasant. The resentment was real, but there was also some self-preservation instinct at play.

Molly and Schmendrick losing a baby. Both of them are extremely wary and frightened it might happen once more when they realize they are expecting again, but after they both dreamed of the unicorn at the same time they finally calmed and got convinced that everything would have been okay. They did not talk about their dream; they simply woke up, looked at each other, and knew. Everything got easier after that.

Lìr getting to know he is not Haggard’s son by overhearing the guards talking about it. He starts to justify Haggard’s indifference towards him and is convinced that, after all, his father is “right” to not loving him, since he has simply picked him from the streets just like the garbage he collects daily. This is around the time he has stopped calling Haggard “father”, at 5 years old.
