thinking about jonah and adams friendship

even if they hadnt died or been through the bps, even met in a different way, adam still would have ended up ruining said friendship unintentionally

what ive gathered from the way he treats people is that he wants love but he doesnt know how to receive it in a healthy way or give it back in a healthy way

no matter how much jonah said anything about appreciating adam, it probably wouldnt get to his head and hed see it as a manipulation tactic rather than reassurance

when he is shown unconditional love he has no idea what to do with it and hes pretty convinced its not genuine

so no matter what would have happened between the two of them, they would have had a fight and ended up growing apart JUST because adam doesnt know how to receive any kind of positive attention without effectively ruining it OR becoming an aloof asshole toward the other person (not to mention his stubbornness)

him turning on evelin after (?) getting MAD didnt seem too out of character for him so that just proves my point even more

especially because he was trying to push his negativity toward her almost to ‘test’ how much she actually liked him or if she was with him out of pity/something like that

i am unbelievably sad
