Have I talked enough of this fic? I fucking LOVE it, and chapter 8 is so far my favorite chapter from the series, of course I had to make some art for it. Seriously, if u haven’t read it, you’re missing out.

Anywayyyyy, the ROTTMNT movie was one of my favourite movies of all time?? And uhhhhh, I love me some angst. I'm actually surprised I haven't posted more, but here we are!

So I feel like most of these are self explanatory if you've seen the movie but I thought I should mention, that I hc that Leo blames himself fully for the invasion and thusly any injuries/deaths as a result. Therefore, blood on his hands, which may have been obvious but oh well lmao

Christmas Version!

I loved both of your prompts soooo much! But of course time crunch had to choose to do one only. Nevertheless I still had fun. Sorry if the sketch is sloppy but I didn’t want it to look like crap by coloring it wrong or having to turn it in late or half done. I loved this prompt of 2012 Mikey angst because he deserved more attention in that subject.

I also thought Leo and Mikey’s relationship was fun so I went down the angst category they both fit into; their dad splinter. While splinter is a father figure to all of the turtles in this version (and every version), I feel like these two initiate warm interactions with him more than Donnie and Ralph(Mikey barely edging Donnie). Mikey calling out to Splinter as his papa will probably forever scar my outlook on his character. So who better to comfort him when he misses him than his eldest brother with a similar trauma.

I always found it odd in Fast Forward how the turtles never were phased by being able to go out in public, and then realising that no, climbing up the sides of the buildings and jumping across cars is not social etiquette. So I wrote this.

The fic is a lot more angsty, actually. It’s called What Was Left Behind, and it’s about Mikey realising that he is struggling to fit into the future world he’s always dreamed of despite usually loving change.

I wanted to explore what it would be like for someone who usually is very optimistic to begin to fall, and Mikey became my emotional punching bag again, poor dude. I know Raph got some focus in the series, so it may have made more sense to write this about him, but I dunno, the concept I was trying to go for seemed to fit Mikey more for me.

But yeah, 6 pages of angst. Check it out if you want, otherwise it’s chill.
