Blind Leo

  In Mirage comics, Leo once lost his sight because of a vengeful Foot soldier poisoned him ( tales of the TMNT ( Vol 2)#5). Splinter thought his son’s problem was psychological, and wanted to cure Leo so he took him to the farmhouse, (Tales of Leonardo: Blind Sight #2 ) and they went on a trip, deep into the forest,... he  handed Leo his walking stick, and punched his son off some cliff and into a stream. ( talking about tough love ;P...) when Leo recovered, his sensei was nowhere in sight, so Leo figured Splinter wanted him to find his way back without help... 

(don’t worry after Leo failed to find his way back home, Splinter went back for him. He found Leo under a log unconscious...XD but he didn’t regain his vision tho. Who would have thought.. LOL sarcastic eye roll... ) 

Sometimes I don’t understand Master Splinter at all. Especially the Mirage one. He seems very controversial to me.
