Later that night, they sat on the couch in Minho’s dorm room, a half-eaten pizza box between them. A cheesy rom-com played on the TV, but Y/N wasn’t paying attention.

Minho stretched, his arm brushing against hers. “Okay, real talk,” he said, turning to face her. “What’s going on with you?”

“Nothing,” she said too quickly.

He raised an eyebrow. “Y/N.”

She sighed, staring at her hands. “I just…I’ve been thinking about us. And how much you mean to me.”

Miho’s expression softened. “You mean everything to me too, Y/N/N.”

The words hung in the air, and for a moment, it felt like the world had stopped. He reached out, tucking that same stray strand of hair behind her ear.

“Is that all?” he asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper.

Y/N’s breath caught. This was it—the moment she had been dreading and hoping for all at once.

Before she could answer, the door buzzed.

Minho sighed, pulling away. “It’s probably Maddison. I told her not to come over, but she doesn’t listen.”

Y/N forced a smile, her heart sinking. “You should get it.”

He hesitated, his eyes searching hers, as if he knew there was more she wanted to say. But in the end, he got up and opened the door.

And Y/N realized, as she watched Maddison walk in, that maybe this wasn’t their moment after all…

I honestly need Netflix to go and do a movie about Margot Song Covey, not only to have all the sister stories but because Margot is THAT elder sister.

Lara Jean talks about missing her mom; Kitty about how she never got the chance to truly meet her; but Margot was the older one, the one that had to grow up quickly to take care of her sisters and her dad. I don't think she had the opportunity to truly mourn her.

We know she broke up with Josh and moved to the other side of the world, but why did she do that? Was to finally get the pressure of being head of the family of her? Or was it the first time she did something she wanted for herself??

Like, as an elder sister myself who had to grow up quickly, a romcom focused on her will be a gift.

One of the last great rom-coms. Can Hollywood or whoever bring back cute, cheesy, quirky, with GOOD dialogue rom-coms?!! The first movie was A-tier.

 (Let's forget the bathtub and scrunchie "incident" or that John Ambrose was the best choice- yes, I said it- 10/10 movies overall).

Top Five Favourite Moments in To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021), in no particular order:

I love the symbolism around the locks at Seoul Tower, with their mum's being a promise fulfilled ("For the rest of my life"), and the rest of her family being a promise to keep ("For the rest of our lives"), and with Lara Jean and Peter's being a promise to make ("Someday we can go back and put it on.")

Peter's first response, after realizing that Lara Jean has been holding back the Stanford news for days (which changes how they'll plan their future) being, "Are you okay?"

Gen looking at Lara Jean on the pink couch in the Subway and saying, "You know, this could be us someday."

Kitty telling Lara Jean, "I'll miss you a twelve."

Peter writing a new contract, a love letter, and a meet cute all-in-one, employing all of Lara Jean's own romantic references at the same time. Especially, I love Peter saying, "I never want to be the guy holding you back. I want to be one by your side."
