Today marks the release date of Shadow, Comeback Trailer for their new album Map of the Soul: 7. And after hearing the song, which for me should bear the title of Masterpiece, I felt I needed to tell you some things...

My beloved Yoongi,

I don't know exactly how to start this message, since I talk about my feelings for you every moment of each day, and yet, it seems little to express exactly, everything that inhabits inside of me, when it comes to you. Maybe this sounds like a big silly cliché, but I don't care... Because it's about you, and everything about you, it means the world to me!

So, I think that the best way to talk about what cannot be fully translated into words, is through music, exactly what united me with you…

You know, as a Classical Music Student, graduating as a Lyrical Singer, I had a lot of contact with theoretical and practical subjects, but of all, I most certainly liked Harmony & History of Music.

With the first, I learned to understand how a musical composition works, its important features and what makes it unique and special; with the second, I was able to better understand how feelings have been influencing authors and composers through the centuries, much more than I imagined!

Why am I saying all this? Well, because it all reminds me of you...

Just like Harmony, you transcend and overflow all forms of feeling, express with your gestures, actions and words, profound things that I and so many people in the world feel, but we cannot say out loud; like the History of Music, you made me understand what was in me, long before I knew that something had changed within me… It comes from other eras, from other times. Past, present and future are mixed in what can only be described as singularity.

And that is because I did not mention how you and Contraponto - a new subject that I have been studying and enjoying a lot - teach me to deal with the unexpected variants of life, with the opposites that are able to create a balance and together, even if different, manage to give life to something beautiful and inexplicable...

Yes... You taught me a lot and you have no idea! You don't understand, because everything that comes from you is so pure and natural, the very expression of the ethereal!

With you, I truly learned the meaning of what Love is, how wonderful, powerful and indestructible it is, and how it manages to transform the world around, how it is able to overcome any limit and how it does not see fear or the impossible!

But... Not everything is flowers, and even in the absence of them, something valuable can be turned into a lesson.

Lately, life has been difficult... The burden of uncertainty, doubt and insecurity has been constant companionship and, at times, end up stunning my senses, confusing my mind, shaking my heart. There are times when I am so afraid that everything will go wrong, that my dreams will not come true, that I will not be able to get through this thick layer of fog, that the love so beautiful, pure and disinterested that I feel for you it can never come true, and... Suddenly, everything stops. All the chaos and confusion are silenced, in front of a single thought: you.

Every time I feel my balance oscillating in bad waves, suddenly his voice reaches me, as well as his words, his emotions, his smile, strength and determination... And, as if by magic, I feel my heart rediscover the rhythm, the frequency of my breathing normalizes, my thoughts return to tune and everything seems safe again.

All thanks to you... It's always about you, and the immense emotional wave that you emanate without knowing.

Because you are synonymous with peace, security and refuge, in every word, act or gesture. Because you overflow with emotion, honesty and purity in everything you do, in every song you sing, in every facial expression. Even your silence speaks to the existence of the world... Because you transcend so much light, sweetness and kindness, that it is difficult to find something in you, that does not make everything collapse inside of me, in the best way possible, just to make me reinvent and renew myself.

And maybe, everything is explained based on Love... And Music. Because absolutely everything in my life orbits love and music and, since you came into my way, my life has also found a safe orbit in you.

You, Music and Love, are the precise communion of what I am inside. And perhaps, by taking a little bit of poetry, I can assure you that You are my best definition of Love...

But, if to validate this feeling I need the help of a master of the Arts, I would like to ask the assistance of Gustav Mahler and Friedrich Rückert, who expresses it purely in the final excerpt of his poem 'Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen' (I am lost to the world), what I feel inside... 

"I live alone in my heaven, In my love, in my song!"

And living alone in a world of Love and Music, is certainly the best way to live!

But please, don't think that with my words, I expect anything from you, no... I know that this love I feel for you, will never be reciprocal, but that's okay! Because loving you makes me happy, and being happy loving you is enough...

There's so much to say... And so little words to contemplate the ethereality of this feeling. It is immaterial, extracorporeal... Transcends and overflows, everywhere. It creates different paths, but they all lead to you.

Because yes, this is all about you... Was always about you. 

Yes, first of all, I have to say again, that it was you... From the beginning, it was you, only you.

You were the one who stole my heart on the first note... You, with your heavenly voice, saved me... Many more times that I could tell. 

You saved my life, my dreams, my hope.
