HEY Do you need an Actual Play podcast to binge?

Because our D&D Actual Play Podcast has not just ONE but THREE seasons (24 Episodes so far!) and is currently updating! Tales of Bone and Ice (ToBaI) is a horror-comedy D&D actual play podcast set in a post-apocalyptic frozen wasteland! It is intended for older teen and adult audiences due to its mature themes. (We are planning to switch to pathfinder after the third arc!)

Led by queer Indigenous creators, and the cast is made up of LGBTQIA2S+ and our token straight white friend! All of us are neurospicy and have hyperfixated on TTRPGS! Our lovely editor Chelsea makes all our our chaos coherent AND writes original music for the show!

Four x Fem!reader

Summary: Y/n brings home a dog.

It had been a week since Y/n had gone to help at the wall because of an incident. All she wanted was to sleep in her own bed with her boyfriend. Especially after she was attacked and was still hurting from it.

So as Y/n and her new found protector entered Y/n and Four’s apartment. Four turned with a happy smile on his face to have Y/n back. But then his gaze dropped to her side.

“What’s that?” He asked, pointing to the dog standing by her side as she shut the door behind her.

“A dog.” she stated the obvious as she moved to sit on their couch.

“Why’s it in our apartment?” Four asked again, looking at her from sitting on the couch.

“Cause he was my buddy on the wall and he became very protective of me.” Y/n explained as she shrugged off her jacket, wincing in pain over her bruises. “He saved my life.”

“What happened?” Four immediately moved closer on the couch upon seeing her arms bruised and her shirt riding up to see more skin covered in bruising.

“I was attacked by a couple factionless trying to go over the wall.” Y/n turned back around to look at Four seeing his face covered with concern and she smiled softly at him. “He saved me. He attacked both men, the one holding a gun at me and the one trying to beat me to death.”

When she finished talking Y/n glanced down at the dog who was sitting by her feet.

“You do that boy?” Four looked down at the dog as well. The dog barked at Four’s question and started smiling, obviously the dog was proud of himself. He should be.

“Please.” Y/n said looking to Four with pleading eyes knowing he’d know what she meant.

“Okay, he can stay.” He sighs conceding to keeping the dog.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you.” Y/n practically squealed, kissing him and pulled him into a hug. The dog sensed Y/n’s excitement and he started wagging his tail happily.

“If he’s that willing to protect you then he’s okay with me.” Four smiles holding onto Y/n’s waist as the dog decides to jump up onto the couch sitting where Y/n had been. Y/n and Four laugh at the dog already making itself at home.

I got the hand of drawing pre void rob he's got that bright twinkle in his eye and a cool hair texture tbh; I found that drawing the part makes it look less goofy!! wow. His season 1 design looks like a Skylander nice and soulless just like any well rounded middle schooler.

In my epic dreamscape I dreamt of a murder mystery EP. of adventure time where tiny manticore and Timmy are just playing before panning over to a dead body very wholesome. They where very cute together. I think tiny deserves to act like a straight up cat sometimes

“Why are we here again?” Y/n asked Four, this was the last thing she wanted to be doing.

“Just to do check ups basically. Keep them in line.” Four answers, he to didn't like visiting the factionless. Especially when it’s because they're causing problems.

“Four.” Y/n nudged his shoulder when something caught her eye.

“Hmm?” he hummed in acknowledgment.

“Look.” Y/n nodded to a lone boy in a corner. He looked scared.

With an exchange of look’s between the couple, Y/n walked over towards the boy. Once the boy noticed the two approaching him he got very anxious. “Hey, hey, hey. We’re not going to hurt you.” She spoke softly.

“You’re gonna take me back.” The boy said with a shaky voice.

“Back to where?” Y/n asked squatting down to be level with him.

“By your clothes I’ll guess you're from Abnegation?” Four speak’s up asking the boy but Four said it like a fact. Four knew, he just knew this kid. It was like looking in a mirror.

“Why’d you leave?” Y/n questioned softly coming off as non-threatening to the boy. 

“My father.” the boy answered quietly.

“Come on.” Y/n and Four have a conversation in their eyes agreeing before Four spoke up.

“I won’t go back!” he screamed, pushing his body up into the corner as far as he could.

“We aren’t taking you back. You're gonna come with us. Back to our home.” Y/n shook her head raising her hands to show they wouldn’t force him and nothing hurt him with them.

“You won’t make me go back?” He looked at them shocked.

“No kid. We won’t.” Four shook his head, the kid concedes and goes with them on the walk back to Dauntless. They learned his name on the way back, it was Kyle and he was 9 almost 10.

Later that night after they had set him up in their spare room Four and Y/n were in their room, Y/n sat next to Four so they could talk.

“He’s like you.” Y/n states even though she’s sort of asking Four to confirm it.

“I think so.” Four nodd’s sad that this happened to another kid. It felt personal to Four.

“We can’t let him go back, Four.” Y/n shakes her head worried.

“We won’t.” Four states, already thinking of a plan.

“How?” She questioned with a furrowed brow.

“If he’d be willing to go under the truth serum and show his scar’s then we could get him out.” Four tells her before looking her in the eye’s. “Would you be okay if we adopted him?”

“Of course!” Y/n nodded, she’d adopt the boy in a heartbeat. “Of course Four. Let’s talk to him in the morning.”

@ Next Morning

“Do you guys have work today?” Kyle asked as he walked into the kitchen for breakfast the next morning seeing the two Dauntless that had taken him home.

“We took the day off.” Y/n told him smiling, setting a plate of food in front of him. She knew he was probably starving.

“There's some things we wanna talk about with you.” Four says coming over to the table.

“Okay?” Kyle looked at them with worry.

Four and Y/n explained to Kyle what their plan was, as long as he was okay with it and wanted it.

“Yes.” Kyle answered immediately.

“You're okay with all that's involved?” Y/n wanted to make sure he wasn’t going to regret it.

“If it means I never have to go back, then I’ll do anything.” He tells her, before tilting his head asking. “Can I ask why you're helping me though?”

Y/n and Four exchanged a silent conversation before Four decided to tell the boy. “My father was like yours, but worse. I almost did what you did. Run away like you did. But I didn’t have the guts. So I waited till the day I could choose a different faction.”

That seemed to hit Kyle in a different way, he looked at Four like he was his hero. If he could get out then so could Kyle.

Four was suddenly being hugged by Kyle, Four wrapped his arms around the boy. Knowing he needed it.

“I’m proud of both of you.” Y/n hugged them both. This was their own little family now.
