Anyway, Toby, no matter what nationality you are, does not care about you. He would kill you if you looked at him the wrong way when he's in a slightly pissy mood. The relationship would just be abusive, no two ways about it—he'd beat you up until you couldn't move then yell obscenities at you because you didn't do exactly as he asked when he asked.

He's a horrid man, and he just would not be good in a relationship.

Clockwork's walls in the main cabin were absolutely filled with her drawings, floor to ceiling with these gorey and scary drawings. Once her and Toby moved out, she got to work on the entire cabin, he loved seeing her art and sometimes he'd help her out:

it’s finally done! The story! just to clarify, why am I doing this.

Kastoway is a overall bad person from what I heard, and Ticci Toby has been a life long memory of mine. I would hate to love a character written by a bad person, and I’m sure many more feel the same too.

so, I made my own version of Ticci Toby (Hatchet Killer)

- you are allowed to use and draw him! however, he is canonically a minor, so no nasty stuff (I will hunt you down) also, if you draw him, tag me in it!

- headcanons are fine! Would love to see what you guys can come up with!

Hatchet Killer (Remake of Ticci Toby)

The road that the metal box with wheels drove on a street that seemed like it stretched for miles and miles on end, like a never ending black abyss. The lamplights shone brightly, the slender and lanky trees clearly visible, but the obnoxiously bright light made it difficult to look at. The scenery is calm and collected, something you would see in a romance movie. But nothing was, quote on quote, ‘nice’.

The middle aged women at the steering wheel had a brown bob cut, with diamond stud earrings, which were partially visible. She wore a grey V neck, which made her vibrant green eyes stand out. She looked like any typical mother you would see on TV, or a mother who would post about their average family on a platform. The only difference about her was that her eyes were a bloodshot red, and blinked back tears. Occasionally, she glanced at her son in the backseat, whose hands wrapped tightly around himself as the side of his head touched the cold window

Her son looked nothing like her. He had one extremely light blue eye, and a muddy like dark green eye, but his eyes looked terribly tired, as if he never managed to get any sleep. His skin was pale, and there were some grey patches that blended in with the rest of him. His dark messy hair stuck out in all ways possible, and there were cuts around his left eye, along with a bruise. He wore a black hoodie saying ‘Get Well Soon!’ And some baggy pants, what the hospital gave him when he woke up, because his old clothes were so horribly beyond repair, he couldn’t possibly wear them. His left arm was bandaged, because the glass shards and the force of the crash broke it. The injuries looked painful, but he couldn’t feel it. What most would think is a miracle, a blessing, Toby saw it as a curse. The constant fear of never being able to feel pain. If someone slit his leg while he slept, he wouldn’t even notice, and bleed out throughout the day. Just a constant fear Toby had to live with, the fear of death without knowing or feeling it coming.

This was just one of the challenges he had to deal with. From a very young age, he was diagnosed with disorders and syndromes such as ADHD, Dyslexia, OCD and Tourette’s. He was bullied at school for things like such, and they called him horrible names. Tourette’s syndrome, the first syndrome he was diagnosed with, caused him to have tics. He would hit things, including himself, and make incoherent sounds. The kids at school were cruel to him, calling him names like ‘Tourette’s Tobias’ or ‘Tics’. Sometimes even ‘Hound Dog’, because of a tic he developed due to the dogs in his neighbourhood, which made him bark. Even worse, as he grew, they mocked him by exaggerating and making fake tics and non understandable noises. His parents couldn’t take him out of school though, because they were on the verge of bankruptcy, so no one could teach him. Another challenged he dealt with was his dyslexia and ADHD. His dyslexia made it extremely difficult to read, for he saw the words as jumbled up into some random letters. And for his ADHD, well, it made it difficult for him to focus. He could try to be listening to math class but then space out completely, and have no understanding of what happened or what was taught. This made him fail a lot of classes. He started to move schools regularly in 6th grade, where some students thought it was funny to bang his head into lockers multiple times throughout classes

Toby stared out the window, his head jerking upwards or his hand hitting the car seat every few seconds. Every time the car made a bump, his head would jerk up as a chill ran down his spine

His name was Tobias Aaron Roger-Adams, and the last thing he remembered before being in a hospital was a car crashing

Everything he thought about was just the crash, the terrified scream of his sister

Toby was the lucky one. His sister, Lyra, wasn’t. That’s all he could think about, the horrifying memory. The memory of her sister, and how her body was, the glass shards stuck from her neck down to her hip, while the rest of her body was crushed under the steering wheel. Every single time he thought about it too much, tears filled his eyes

The ride home seemed to go on for hours and hours on end, as if it would never end. His mother wanted to avoid sight of the crash, for her son at least. They reached a wooden White House with a red roof and rectangular windows. They both immediately recognised the car parked near the fence, Toby’s father. Toby felt all the sadness and pain leave him once he caught sight of him, as anger rushed down through him. His father. His father, who wasn’t at the hospital when Lyra passed away. His mother pulled the car in the driveway beside him and turned off the engine. Just as she was about to open the door, Toby found his words

“Why is he here?” His voice quivered, as he strained himself not to stutter. His mother sighed and looked at him

“He’s your father, Toby. He wanted to see you” she responded in a blank tone. When Toby frowned and looked away, she added, “He was drunk that night sweetheart. If he was-“

“Yeah, when is he not.” Toby interrupted her and opened the door, getting out of the car and stood in the driveway, where he met his father’s stern gaze. He quickly moved his attention to the house, where Lyra would’ve been waving him and greeting him home. His mother got out of the car and stared at her husband, who was seemingly waiting for a hug. Instead, she walked to her son and put her hand on his shoulder. His father gritted his teeth

“Nice to see you too, Connie. No welcome home hug?” He asked, sarcastically and annoyed. Connie looked up at him, and spoke with a strained voice

“Sorry, sweetheart. I’m still grieving over Lyra, in case you didn’t know.” They began to make their way inside, until Dave commented

“Hey, he’s 16, he can walk by himself.” Connie shot a glare at him. He rolled his eyes, “17, he’s 17. He can walk by himself.”

Once they reached inside, Connie turned her soft gaze to Toby. She began, with her sweetened voice

“Come on Tobes, let’s get you to your room” She told him, softly “I’ll call you when dinne-“ Toby’s harsh voice cut her off

“N-No, I’m s-sixt-t-teen. I ca-can walk b-by mys-self.” He walked the stairs and did a sharp left, entering his room and slamming the door shut.

His room was nothing special. It was a small room, the white wall paper slowing tearing apart. He had a standard bed, with a single window near his bed. There was a toy elephant that he had ever since he was born, a nightstand and a wardrobe. There were some photos on his bed, photos of his family before. Before they fell into problems and his dad became an alcoholic. Toby remembered when he argued with his mom and he pushed her down, threatening to hurt her. Then when Lyra tried to break it up, he slammed her head into the kitchen counter. He felt horrible after, though Lyra and his mom were fine. But he would never be able to forgive himself, for hurting the two people who even tolerate him. Who accept and love him, unlike his father. And when his sister was there in the hospital, losing the fight to her injuries, his father was the only one who didn’t rush there.

He threw his covers over his head and hugged himself, beginning to cry and sob. Hot tears streamed down his face as he continuously sobbed and whined, the imagery of his sister replaying in his head. Bitting his lip, he tried not to scream. He grabbed his pillow and hugged it.

He suddenly stopped, and stared at something. Next to the lamppost, there was a tall white figure, staring at him with no eyes. He wore a black suit, like a bartenders from the 90s. And the second he blinked, the figure was gone. He turned over to the his clock. 8:34. He stared at, confused, because when he started to stare at the the figure, it was 7:34. His mother called for him. He sighed and stumbled out of bed, walking down the staircase and sitting at the dinner table.

They didn’t talk at all. Everyone was staring at the empty seat. While Dave and Connie ate, Toby stared at his untouched food. He looked at his father, who had his normal angry expression. Connie taught him staring at his father, and nudged him. Toby stood up and pushed his chair in, thanking Connie for the food. Dave rolled his eyes and gritted his teeth

“You ungrateful child, not even eating what your mother made you.” He commented harshly. Before Toby knew it, he spoke out

“At le-least I wa-was th-there wh-when lyr-a died. Un-unlike yo-u.” He responded coldly. Dave stood up and in a moment’s flash, he slapped Toby so hard that he fell on the floor. Connie screamed and stood up, while Toby hit his head on the hard wooden floor. He coughed and sat up, staring at his father with pure rage. The two adults began to argue. Toby stood up and shakily walked up the stairs, ignoring the yelling of his parents. He slammed the door shut once he entered his room. He grabbed his nightstand and threw it on the floor, the photos on it cracking. He jumped on his bed and cried, tears streaming down his face. He was desperate try to fall asleep, but it was no use. He couldn’t sleep on an empty stomach, could he. Tossing and turning, he struggled to fall asleep. He whined and sobbed, silently screaming into his pillow. He grabbed his toy elephant and stared at it until more tears filled his eyes. The memory of his dear sister, back when he was six, defending him from the bullies who would tried to take away his elephant. One of the only things that calmed him. It was so difficult to sleep now, with the idea that he would never be able to wake up and see his sister again. He tossed and turned, sobbing and crying.

Once he woke up in the morning, he felt tired. He checked the time. 11:45 AM. He stumbled out of bed and into the hallway. His mother and Father weren’t there. If today was like any other day, he would be going to school, have yet another bad day and then go home with bruises. But it would be different now, because he didn’t have to go to school because of the trauma he just experienced.

Whenever his mother or father came home, Dave would simply just order her around. While Dave did that, he would normally just pace around, like a caged animal, or just sit in his bed, staring outside. He didn’t get enough sunlight and he started to eat less. As more time passed, he began forgetting important events, and was generally losing a lot go memory. He would forget things that happened years, months, days, hours, minutes, even seconds before. Everyday the same unhealthy cycle continued. He began gnawing the flesh and skin off his fingers. His mother walked in on him doing this, and was horrified. She rushed him down and bandaged his hand, forcing him to promise to never do it again.

Eventually, even Connie got severely concerned for his health. When she asked what had happened a few minutes or seconds ago, Toby would just shrug.

So, she brought in the family therapist, Dr. Olive.

Dr. Olive was a very close friend of Connie, who helped her get over her depression when Dave became abusive at first. She knew Toby, and always described him as a ‘Ray Of Sunshine”. And now, she would meet him again, after a long long time.

Toby sat down in her office. The check in happened, and now she would have a session with Toby. She was shocked, to say the least, but agreed to help him anyways. The door opened, and Toby turned his attention with the beautiful black woman. She smiled and sat down in front of him

“Hello Toby. How are you feeling today?” She asked, in a sweet voice. Toby nervously looked around, his neck jerking from side to side every few seconds. He finally responded

“As g-ood as yo-you can g-get, I gu-ess.” His voice was cold, but it radiated fear.

“You’re doing good so far, how old are you, Toby?”

“Seventeen,” he responded as loudly as he could, without stuttering

She wrote that down on the paper that was clipped to the clipboard.

“What is your full name?”

“Tobias Aaron Rogers…Adams.” He added

“When is your birthday?”

“April 28th.”

“Who is your immediate family?”

Toby’s expression went blank as he paused, “My mom, my dad, and…” he stopped suddenly, “M-my sister.”

“I heard about your sister dear…I’m really sorry,” her expression faded into a sad pity-filled look.

Toby nodded.

“Do you remember anything from the crash Toby?”

Toby looked away from her. His mind went blank for a moment. He looked down at his lap, and in the surrounding area, he heard a faint ringing sound. His eyes widened and he froze in place.

“Toby?” the counsellor asked.

“Toby are you listening?”

There were more questions, but it was all muffled now. He looked at the window. There it was, the figure. It was more clear now, with it’s boney face and no features. The ringing became louder and louder as a sudden voice began to speak to him. It was cold, and ghastly, like the creature that’s trying to kill everyone from a horror movie. He panted heavily, as it spoke to him

“All your fault Toby.. if you didn’t convince her to drive you there, she would be alive.” He couldn’t swallow anymore. His throat began to close up as he choked on his own breath. The voice was gone. Now, it was just different voices, some unfamiliar while some were. His dad, the children at school. All, mocking him. The room around him went dark, and a man with sideburns began to walk towards him. He had a fear in his eyes and he began to speak. “Wake up Toby!” His voice blended with Dr. Olives

“Toby!” she yelled.

Toby jumped and fell sideways out of his chair, starting to back up into the corner.

Doctor Oliver stood up, holding her clipboard to her chest. A surprised look in her eyes.

Toby met her eyes again, his breath hitching as he twitched.

He sat in the hallway, listening to what his mom and Dr. Olives thought was a secret conversation

“I had a similar patient, his name was Tim Wright.. He came to us in a bloody jacket, seemingly screaming the nurses holding him ‘he made me do it! I wasn’t myself! I don’t need help! Please, just please look at the entires’.. he barely spoke to me at all during the first sessions, he just had panic attacks and violent outbreaks, yelling and screaming at me. Even tried to roundhouse kick me. It wasn’t until the fifth one he finally told me what happened. It was something to do with his friend looking after a, what he thought at the time, fake thing. Some old children’s tale. Anyways, I tried to explain to him that it was probably just him projecting what scared him as a child as the person who murdered his friend Jay. After, he understood. 4 weeks later, he went missing, never to be seen again.” She explained, nervously, while Connie nodded, “I suggest I do more sessions with Toby. If that doesn’t work, consider putting him a psych ward.”

Toby’s eyes widened. His mother, she wouldn’t actually consider it, right? I mean, of course, he bit the flesh off his fingers and had a hallucination. But that didn’t mean he was insane, right?

No no no, this can’t be happening. He thought, sure, I’ve had outbreaks. But I’m not insane. I couldn’t be insane, right? I’m just, a bit stressed. Yes, yes, I’ll prove to mom by answering all the questions.

He started to work his hardest to not to space out during the sessions, and answer all the questions as truthfully as he could. But there was only one question that always stunned him him

“What do you remember from the crash?”

“Do you remember the crash?”

“Can you tell me any details about the crash?”

“Toby, is there anything from the crash you would like to tell me?”

Every single time the question was asked, he had the same reaction, with the same man.

The night on the most recent outbreak, Toby just laid in bed. His eyes were dazed as he stared up at his ceiling. He could feel himself start to doze off when he heard the scattering of the footsteps down his hall. He slowly sat up and looked towards the doorway, finding out that his door was wide opening. There was no light, everything lit by the luminescent glow of the moon. He stumbled upwards and began to make his way toward the doorway. When he was just a few meters away, the door slammed shut. He gasped and backed away. Out of breath, he fell to the floor, his hands hitting himself. There were no ghosts are anything like such, but there was something dark. He knew there was something dark, in his room. He slowly stood up and started to open the door. There was faint giggling heard from the outside. He took a sharp, deep breath and began to speak

“Mom?” He asked, his voice trembling. A groan appeared behind him. He spun around quickly, and was suddenly face to face with none other but his dead sister. Her eyes were corpse like, her skin paler then paper, her jaw barely dangling, only supported by the tissue and muscle, glass making her bleed. Her hips were detached, and one of her legs were missing. Her blonde hair was the same, expect it was spotted with blood. She was wearing her usual grey tank top and athlete shorts, which were shredded and full of blood. Toby shrieked and fell back, his head hitting the ground. He tried to speak, but nothing came out. Tears filled his eyes as he backed up into a corner. His sister limped towards him. He closed his eyes shut, hearing her eerie breathing.

“Mom?” he called in a shaky voice.

Suddenly a door slammed behind him and he jumped and turned around. Behind him, he heard a long eerie groan that sounded like croak right in his ear. He turned around as fast as he could and was suddenly face to face with none other than his dead sister. Her eyes were clouded white, her skin pale, the right side of her jaw dangling there by tissue and muscle, glass protruding from her forehead, black blood leaking down her face, her blonde hair pulled up in a pony-tail as it always was, and she was wearing her grey t-shirt and athlete shorts, which were dirty and spotted with blood. Her legs were bent in ways they shouldn’t be. She stood emitting a long croaking noise only an inch away from Toby’s face. I

It all stopped for a second. Everything was dead silent, expect for his heavy breathing and whimpering. He slowly opened his eyes to meet the white, boney figure. Behind the cryptic creature, rows of people stood behind him, most from the ages of three to 20 years old. A sudden flash moment came to him, starting to identify some of the people. His mother, his father, the other boy at school who got bullied a lot and one day went missing. And then, in the very very back, there was his sister’s corpse. Toby screamed and stood up as fast as he could, only to be pinned to the wall by black tendrils that wrapped around his body. They suddenly let go, and Toby’s limp body fell to the ground, head first. He shakily tried to sit up, but only managed to look at the face of that.. thing. He wheezed and coughed, until everything went black.

He woke up next to the door of his room, his elephant in hand. He slowly sat up and opened the door, quietly walking in the hallway. There was his father, watching TV. He clenched his fists as the voice of the creature spoke to him, mixed with others. Some were children’s voices, while other’s were adults

“do it do it do it do it,” they all chanted. Toby trembled.

No, no no. He wasn’t going to kill his dad, he couldn’t kill his father. He hated his father, of course, but he wasn’t going to kill him. He couldn’t kill him. He looked towards the ground. A pocket knife. He picked it up, shaking. He walked towards his father, the voices getting louder. He pushed his father off the couch and walked over to him.

“AH- you little fucker, what are you doing?!” His father screamed at him. Toby’s face was blank as he lunged at his father, thrusting the knife into his father’s torso. They fought with each other, Dave smashing Toby’s head into the table. Toby clenched his fists and grabbed his father’s face.He hit his face multiple times until he heard a pop. Dave’s jaw was dislocated. He heard a familiar voice

“Toby!” His mother cried. this time it wasn’t scared of his father. It was scared of him, “What did you do, Toby?!” Tears streamed down her face. Toby looked at his father’s body, which still seemed to be alive. He shakily stood up, still holding the elephant. He turned to his mother and began to walk towards her. His horrified mother backed up, until Toby stood in front of her. He had a blank expression in his eyes, as he began to hesitantly hug her. In a sudden flash of a moment, his mother pushed him away. Toby fell to the ground, grunting.

“You’re crazy! You’re a psychopath! How could you, he was your father! I hated him too, but we could’ve been happy again, even without Lyra!” She cried. Toby stared at his bloody hands, realising what he did. He stood up, dropping the knife. Police sirens filled his ears. He took a swift turn and made a run for it towards the garage

He was bleeding out quickly. 2 things caught his eye on the metal table that his dad used to teach him how to work cars with. 2 dull hatchets, and some bandages. He quickly grabbed them, and looked around for anything, anything at all. He found the thrift hoodie that he bought, ages ago. It was too big for him, so he never wore it. He took off his bloody black sweater and put on the new clothing. A brown hoodie. As the sound of police asking for the subject filled his ears, he opened the garage and began to make a run for it, into the forest. Panting heavily he looked around for anything, anything at all.

It didn’t take long before he realised he was lost. He was starting to get dizzy, and seeing his own blood on his hands made him anxious. He fell to the ground and hugged the toy elephant. Another voice was heard, a deep masculine one

“Oh shit… well that’s wonderful” it was slightly muffled. He looked up at it. It was the man from the hallucinations, in bloody hospital clothing. With all the strength he had left, he cried out

“Hel-p-p- me-..” The man turned to him, but Toby’s vision and hearing was so blurred and muffled, he didn’t understand what happened next.

And that was the end. That was the end of Tobias Aaron Roger-Adams.

or so what everyone thought.

A few weeks later, Connie sat in her sister’s kitchen. His sister, Lori, sat next to her drinking a cup of coffee.

About three weeks ago, Connie lost her son and her husband was now in the hospital, and a few weeks before, she had lost her daughter to a car crash. Since then, she moved in with her sister. The police were keeping her busy, they had just finished cleaning up the case, and the story had been released two weeks ago. The focus of the world seemed to have shifted to completely new stories.

Lori switched the TV on to a news broadcast. On the TV the news reporter began introducing the new headline.

“What is the whole world interested in about? Well, the Hatchet Killer strikes again! A group of 9 individuals were murdered in the forest last night, their faces horribly broken apart. We have an actual drawing, left from the murderer himself!” The picture changed to show snapshots of the drawing, a police man holding it

The drawing had a detailed tall bony figure, with no features. It was scratchy writing around him, spelling out “NO NO NO NO”. A signature was in the very bottom right corner.

Connie couldn’t sleep that night. She laid in her bed, something keeping her awake. Maybe it was because her son ran off, or because her husband was finally warming up to the family again. But something, something about the news bothered her.

And then it hit. She retraced the steps in her head, and it all suddenly made sense. The very next day, she went to the police about what she thought.

The next day, another news broadcast came in

“Newspaper headlines! The mother of the child, Tobias Aaron Roger-Adams spoke out about who she thinks the Hatchet Killer is, and yet, she thinks its her son! Quote from her, ‘it all makes sense. My son had the same scratchy writing, and he took two dull hatchets from the house the night he fled. Toby, if you see this, please, come home. I will help you. And you can help me.”

But sadly for her, her son would never come back. Not until he figures out what’s that thing following him.

And not until he figures out why the man named Tim saved him from not only his death, but also the binds of The Operator.

y'all also just ignore the fact that people with SPD (LIKE TOBY) are very unlikely to even live past 20 so Toby being 30? thats not gonna happen; he can't feel pain or temperature and bites on his hands which is also a huge problem with it. his body also isn't going to produce sweat. his body isn't going to heal the same way unless he knows that he's injured, because he won't be like oh shit this could fuck me up. the fact that he was even alive in the original says alot. especially if violence was normal. Kastoway obviously didn't do his research when he first wrote it but then again most authors don't research on stuff like that. so all in all not a fan of 80% of the newer versions of most characters especially Toby.

So let’s talk about this. This is the last version of Toby Rogers in Kastoway’s lineup, Age 30. He looks messed up, really messed up. I’m assuming Kino doesn’t know much about medical wrappings and drawing randomly wrapped body parts looks cool but if that’s a head wound, he’d have a lot more bandages. Google head trama if you want some idea of how much the head bleeds. So this is obviously more for aesthetics and let’s assume kino meant to represent that as a head wound. Next we have this crazy thing on his face. My first impression was that his right eye was either severely bruised, or the blackened area is a representation of sleep deprivation. There’s something else going on with the other eye and I really can’t tell what it is. Personally, it looks like the plastic lens they tape over your eye after Cataract surgery. Which makes sense, since in Kino’s last update he mentioned Toby having cataracts. Now to the crazy muzzle. I assumed it was similar to Will’s muzzle advertised last season on NBC’s Hannibal. Looking closer the black markings look like an arrangement of letters and numbers. Then it hit me. He’s in a straight jacket, he looks overly paranoid/concerned, complicated muzzle, possible head injury or even SURGERY. I think Toby was kidnapped by SCP for experiments. I have to check the database again so correct me if I’m wrong, but most monsters and creepypastas have SCP entries. If Toby was caught he’d be a perfect test subject. They could test his connection to Slenderman/the Operator, the fact that he is technically a zombie due to Slender’s influence, any possible psychic link to other followers/proxies or in general, any psychic abilities at all. Having Toby as a test subject would open doors to Slenderman’s powers possibly, and it could go beyond that depending on what you perceive. (Personally I tried connected the big three ARGs. Physical human proxies taken after death[MH)], God-like servants suck in Slender’s dimension[T12], other assorted scary things that are either under his influence or in cahoots with[EMH]). I think this is Toby in SCP containment. What are your opinions?
