I don't think anyone has talked about post epilogue, when Rody someday comes to visit Izuku in Japan!
And what about Bakugou and Todoroki tagging along since they were all together in Otheon.
And Bakugou just CONSTANTLY struggling with his feelings coming from watching Rody and Izuku being besties and even looking like they are just a shade away from being a couple.
Pino hasn't made a single peep OTHER than affection for Izuku, and Bakugou knows what that means.
So Katsuki, who is obviously deep in his feelings for izuku, who is funding and orchestrating the secret support suit for Izuku, is just PINING for Izuku and "the rest of their lives", is just walking around Japan with Izuku, Rody and Rodys two little siblings, just SICK with his own frustration, jealously and anxiety.
But also he's desperately keeping himself in check because he has no right to ruin anything for Izuku. He wants Izuku to be happy. Right now, Izuku is so so happy to be with Rody.
But Rody is also extremely happy to be with Izuku...
Katsuki trying so hard not to hate Rody for it.
Katsuki trying so hard to not be mad that it's not HIM and Izuku out on a date, or a patrol, or even just a walk to the store, instead of Izuku guiding Rody around points of interest as a guest.
Katsuki is even getting to the horrible point in his life where he sees Izuku interacting with the young siblings(and he's always amazing with kids) and imagines them instead as little freckled kids with mops of blonde and green.
To further the illusion, as he stares with icy crimson eyes, he visualizes Rody standing there with a hand on Izukus shoulder instead to be himself, Katsuki "DynaMight" Bakugou, standing proud and beaming over their tiny family.
The thought makes him feel fluttery inside but at the same time, so lonely.
He sneered over how much he craved that domesticity.
Katsuki GROWLING like a territorial cat if Rody takes Izuku by the hand to go look at something new.
Katsuki almost losing it and maybe even having to walk away from the others if Rody starts floating the idea of Izuku visiting or even leaving Japan for Otheon. Telling him there's always room for him in their place(by now he has gotten a better apartment) and the kids screaming YES DEKU COME STAY WITH US!
Katsuki having to collect himself as he can't help but overhear Izuku kindly saying it would be nice to visit someday(but he doesn't hear Izuku go on to say that he would overall prefer to stay in Japan bc it's home and his mom/kacchan is here and his studies, plus a job is already lined up for him at UA....)
Then Todoroki sensing all of this simmering emotion in Katsuki of course and assuring Katsuki with his presence. He let's Katsuki rib him if it makes him feel better(it doesn't)
But Todoroki would also eventually assure Katsuki that "You're underestimating how much Midoriya cares for you. Just because he hasn't said it....we all know he's just not very forward about his true feelings."
Katsuki hopes that's true but just kind of grunts in response.
"You know...you could always ask him out yourself" Todoroki tells him in the flattest tone possible, and Katsuki sputters and turns beet red

Fluff, Bakugou x fem reader
Tumblr media
“I think you’ve got enough at home.”
You shook your head, an instinctive negation as you kept your eyes on the table in front of you, searching for something less floral and more
”not if you’re gonna be on mission for two weeks.” You grabbed a third pack of incense, finally settling on a few scents that’d be closest.
He raised an eyebrow as you paused at the corner of the display, grabbing a fourth scent. “You tryna burn the house down while I’m gone?”
“Aren’t you the only one who’s set off the smoke detectors?”
“That was one time.” You checked his pout and flush, before turning away again with a smile.
“Told those idiots I didn’t want a surprise party.” He brought his red eyes down from their eye roll to see you now had six boxes. “But seriously, planning my funeral?”
“Wouldn’t we be getting confetti instead? Thought you wanted a parade for that?”
“Obviously, it’s important to let the city grieve their favorite hero.” He held out his hand, easily taking hold of what had been in your arms into his palm. “Seriously though, why so much?”
It was your turn to pout as you fumbled away to grab a new lighter. You startled at his breath against your neck. “Come on, brat. Tell me.” You shook him off, only to turn and have a heavy palm covering up the glare you tried to send him. “Don’t look at me like that until we get home, beautiful.”
“You started it.” You hissed as your hands moved to protect your neck. His hand slid down, poking at the air you had chipmunked into your cheeks.
“Tell me. Ya know I’m gonna get annoying.”
“You’ll be more annoying if I tell you.”
“Oh?” You stepped back as he moved toward you.
“Wait, I didn’t mean it. It’s nothing, I swear.”
“Doesn’t sound like nothin’.” His next step stopped short as a clerk rounded the corner.
“Are you two still finding everything alright?”
“Yep, thank you. I’m actually ready to check out.” You slid the incense from Katsuki’s grip as you followed the employee to the front of the store.
Check out was almost as usual. No matter how fast you tried to be, his phone was scanned before you could grab yours to pay. However, there was a noticeable absence of him chuckling as you tried to beat him. No attempts of him to touch or poke at you as you finished. Just a silent reach for the incense you didn’t need a bag for.
You felt your temper rising. The bastard was actually gonna try moping about it? You couldn’t remember him using this method before. Had he picked it up from Todoroki?
Halfway into leaving the parking lot, and you couldn’t take it. The weird fussy silence from him was unsettling. He normally had no problem badgering you or letting it go. This in-between was awful.
“Oh my god. Fine!” The car stopped as he looked at you with wide eyes. “It’s because you’ll be gone and my house won’t-“ you mumbled the rest of the words into your sleeve as you turned to stare out at the window.
“Your house won’t what?”
“Smell.”
“I make your house
smell?”
“Yes.”
“Oh
sorry.”
You flinched at the soft pain in his voice. The words had tumbled out of you sharper than you’d intended, only to be misunderstood. You did your best to climb over the obstacle that was the ever-growing knot of your embarrassment. You tried again, speaking slowly and more carefully.
“Ughhh, no
no, I mean it won’t smell
like you when you’re gone.”
“Yea I get it, I’ll shower before coming over from work. Sorry, beautiful.” You batted away the hand trying to pat your head.
“No, idiot. I mean these come close
to smelling like
you.” His hand froze in the space between you as his sad smile morphed into an infuriatingly wide grin.
“Ohhh? So I shouldn’t ever shower after work?”
“Well, don’t be gross about it.” You moved his hand back to the steering wheel. He laughed, but resumed driving.
“I mean I could roll around on the rugs before I leave if you want.”
“You’re the worst.” You couldn’t bring yourself to look anywhere else but out the window, so you almost didn’t hear the softer words float toward you
barely more audible than the music playing from your phone to his car.
“I’ll miss you too.”

My Hero Academia Headcanons I would die for - Part 2
Yaoyorozu is known across campus as the tea goddess and when any dorm runs out of tea, they know she shall provide
Yaoyorozu and Kendou are (tea) drinking buddies and like to spend their sessions complaining about the loud and obnoxious blondes in their classes
They often double bro-date with Tetsutetsu and Kirishima, although this often ends up with Kirishima and Yaoyorozu becoming a third and fourth wheel to Tetsutetsu's and Kendou's flirting
Bakugou does not get flustered. He gets annoyed but never flustered
This caused a class A competition to see who gets flustered the easiest
Asui was second to Bakugou, it takes a lot to get the girl flustered but it can be done
Iida, Uraraka and Midoriya all tied for easiest
Ever since the sports festival Tokoyami took All Might's advice to heart and started working on his physical strength
Ojiro is Tokoyami's personal trainer. Send help. Tokoyami doesn't know how much more he can take.
Ojiro wants to invite Hagakure to his training sessions but doesn't know how to do so without coming off as rude
On a dare, someone switched Aizawa's coffee to decaf and he physically collapsed in class
Kaminari switched Shinsou's coffee to decaf as well and Shinsou fell asleep in class
These two scenarios sent Todoroki into a crazed state
Bakugou is the worst at poker
Contrary to popular belief, he does have a good poker face, he just blows his cool any time someone does something slightly wrong or takes a millisecond too long on their go
Asui and Shouji are the poker champions
Bakugou's parents have a lot of gay couple friends and being gay is completely normalized (as it should be)
This lead to 11 year old Bakugou becoming very confused when one of his lackeys came out
"What do you mean you ONLY like girls?? What about everyone else!?"
A lot of shouting and some research later Bakugou came to realise he was pan and that not everyone liked everyone regardless of gender
Part 1

Terms of Civility (Kacchako)
Ochako and Katsuki’s relationship is one of my personal favorite dynamics in My Hero Academia. An idea came up for how would their classmates perceive their not quite friendship, but they are friends at least dynamic. I used the boys this time since I want to experiment with writing them.
In other words, Izuku and Eijirou have noticed how close their classmates have gotten, but they don’t want the others to find out.
“I don’t think he hates her.”
Midoriya paused the moment he felt his tongue curl. Their study sessions regularly diverted off their main discussion, so this was not a surprise to him. What had come as a surprise was what his tongue decided to speak without consulting his head. Two heads turned to him in clarification, the third in shock, and the fourth quietly mused, face tossed in understanding and believable confusion.
With four sets of eyes on him, Midoriya’s dramatic anxiety increase was expected, and he shuffled his kicks underneath the desk as his teeth grinded on the inside of his right cheek.
“What do you mean he doesn’t hate her,” Mineta asked fitfully, eyesight dragging left to right as if the person of interest had an eavesdropping quirk, or worst an invisible one, “of course he hates her, not like you could actually hate her-I mean, she’s got a shapely-,”
Iida smacked the top of his head with his hand, and sighed, straightening his glasses in the process, “While I may not agree with that, it is difficult to discern Bakugou-san’s feelings towards her. It appears her holds in the same regard as he does with the rest of us, excluding you Midoriya.”
“And Todoroki,” Kaminari added with a grin, “he goes for the heavy hitters, and like Iida said, his personality doesn’t care who you are. He blows his top at the drop of a hat.”
Their small group, minus Mineta, chuckled at the flighty joke, but that wasn’t what Midoriya meant. While their shared history was not an intended secret, he had no intention in divulging that information. He had spoken thoughtlessly, not knowing why the thoughts appeared in the first place. But it was easier to laugh with his friends, maintaining a low volume, and he grabbed his pencil to resume his note taking.
“Nah, he doesn’t. Not really.” Kirishima said clearly. His fingers were curled around his chin thoughtfully, and he had the expression of someone whose thoughts trailed carefully after each other until something connected with a loud crack, “Nope, not at all!”
Their eyes zipped to him in a single flash. But he didn’t seem worried in the slightest, “What? Oh come on, he doesn’t really hate anyone in class, you know? He’s got a bad temper, sure, but he doesn’t hate her anyways.”
His simple explanation left them speechless. It made no sense to those who didn’t know. This sort of observation required intimate interaction, and Midoriya’s lips quivered, “Yeah, I don’t think
he hates any of us, we’re all competition to him, even Uraraka-san.”
Kirishima nodded, “Yeah! Like, he’s not gonna underestimate anyone in our class, except Mineta-maybe,” their glances went to the floor where the aforementioned Mineta lied with his arms folded against his stomach, “and sure, maybe he doesn’t like most of us, like Mineta said, but he doesn’t hate us, for sure.”
Because if Bakugou hated, naturally, Midoriya would know what his hatred looked like. For all the years they had known each other, Izuku had assumed it was hate. Hate was much easier to understand, to accept. Fresh memories scurried after old, ready to lessen the brunt of their elders’ severity. But naturally, things changed, events happened, and as memories recoiled, Midoriya’s throat thickened.
His knuckles curled down on the table until they burned.
He spat at him, angered and confused. He threw lighted fists at him, desperate and guilt ridden. He sunk lower than Midoriya had ever seen, and admitted something they never believed would be said aloud.
Midoriya rubbed his knuckles against the surface. His grinding lessened. What Bakugou held for him was not hatred. It was not disgust. Years and years, he thought he had understood. He was led to believe he had understood Bakugou’s feelings. Despair threatened to break him that night, and Midoriya had never felt closer to him.
Their shared looks lightened what transpired between them, what had changed their faults and strengths. Hidden feelings were well kept for so long, and they were released into the night, released into All Might's care when he stopped their battle.
Everything had not changed. Bakugou was still Bakugou, something Midoriya suspected would never change, not that it should, but his stares, those glares of his were filled with more. It relied on intangible touch, a sense of pride in the chest, and waves of wariness in the stomach. It was no more than Midoriya expected.
There was strangeness to admit, Midoriya sighed, in the way he looked at him and the way he looked at her.
His vision cleared.
"I don't think he hates her," Midoriya repeated calmly, and the wheels in his overactive brain turned, "I don't think he dislikes her either."
“So what?” Kaminari’s eyes widened, “You’re saying he likes her?”
Midoriya’s cheeks flushed a bright pink, and he shook his head vigorously. He certainly did not believe that, “No, no, no, that’s not what I meant,” his tongue felt like lead in his mouth, weighted by the impossible implication.
“So what did you mean?” Iida asked, “Of course, he dislikes her, and I find it quite unimaginable that he could even like her,” his expression was slightly reproachful, “or is that too harsh?”
“Nah,” Kirishima grabbed a highlighter from the center of the table, and started to highlight the passages he wanted to discuss, “I get what you’re saying, Midoriya. It isn’t about liking or disliking or hating or whatever. It’s about respect.”
“Respect?” Kaminari asked, smoothing his crumbled notes with the palm of his hand, “What’s that got to do about this?”
Kirishima stared as if it was as obvious as their classmate’s explosive temper, “You know
I was in the infirmary during their fight, but I heard all about it,” his sniffed loudly, staring at the ceiling as he pieced his sentences together, “and I get it-he's a scary dude, but everyone called her out as if she wasn't
worthy to fight him, even though I’m sure they didn't mean it that way."
"Yes, it must not have been fair," Iida closed his eyes thoughtfully. He watched the battle alongside Midoriya, and he had heard enough from their classmates and peers alike, "to hear what others thought of her, as a small girl going against a giant."
“An infernal giant,” Mineta added.
“You know, looking back on it,” using the tip of his mechanical pencil to scratch the back of his head, Kaminari propped his feet on the table, “Bakugou didn’t let his guard down, not once. All I’m saying is-if I had gone against someone like him, to take me seriously like that, it’d make me feel good about myself.”
As they discussed, a faint light grew around Midoriya's chest, "He may not like her, but I think-at the end of it, he respects her, so that should be good enough, right?"
"It is." Kirishima said with a grin, and his pencil scratched against his notebook paper, "He doesn't have to like you to respect you, and you can usually tell when he does."
"That's easy for you, Kirishima," Mineta climbed back onto his chair.
"Yeah, you're the closest person to actually being liked by him." Kaminari grabbed a piece of chocolate from his back pocket, slipping it into his mouth before the librarian could notice, "At best, he merely tolerates the rest of us, minus Todoroki and Midoriya."
"In Bakugou-san's defense, we are all rivals." Iida explained, "So tolerating us is the best he can do, for now, even though we are all his friends, I suppose."
Inch by inch their conversation steered from their classmates, returning to their study session. Midoriya sat at the edge of the conjoined tables, listening intently as he added notes and discussion. Iida explained the differences among the top insurance companies in the country, highlighting their comparable rates, and which insurances were best suited for specified quirk users.
It was during this detailed lecture that Midoriya angled his neck at a precise angle towards the library's entrance and exit.
It wasn't intentional. Pressure had built at the nape of his neck, making it stiff. His movement relieved the nestled discomfort, and he felt a surge of relief. But in the moment he moved, swift and fleeting, he saw a pair walking down the hallway.
They did not walk side by side. Several feet ahead, she walked at a brisk, timely pace. His longer strides kept him near but at a comfortable distance. The dark glare of his eyes, the toothy snarl of his lips pushed everyone near away. Midoriya watched them for five seconds, eyes locked on them as they disappeared beyond the library's entrance.
His eyes trailed after them. They did not widen. They did not speak for the questions that sparked within him. He blinked twice. He remembered where he was and who he was with, and he smiled brightly, removing his head from the angle that allowed him to see for a short time.
“I didn’t see anything, not really,” and what had been seen needed to be unseen.
His breathing steadied as his school work resumed. It was easy to do. He carried his hand messily across the pages, scratching down statistics and laws.
Kirishima handed him a copy of his notes for comparison, “Hey, y’think this is a close estimate for the year’s total?”
“Hm. No, not yet, but you’re getting closer.”
