Lil sketch comic and Some headcanon stuff for Torque again (ft team prime)

-sometimes Optimus and Ratchet slow dance, when everyone’s out of the base and its an off day. Which is rare but it happens (Sometimes Torque and Bumblebee find an excuse to rush everyone out of the base in slow days too, so their creators can have some peace and quiet for an hour or two)

- If they’re sent on patrol together and its boring, chances are Bumblebee is gonna challenge her sister to a race. And half of the time shes gonna complain (jokingly) it isn’t a fair race because his alt mode is basically made for speed. And The one time she did win she didn’t shut up about it for two days (they also got an earful from both their creators that day for getting caught racing on camera by a human)

- like she takes quite a bit after Ratchet in terms of mannerisms, she takes a bit after Optimus as well. Its not super noticeable but its there

Thats what lead the decepticons ultimately to connect the dots

Megatron was already aware Torque might be Ratchet’s kid because obviously she looks just like him, but he didn’t really care too much to use that as leverage. That until he saw she was acting a bit like Optimus as well

-Torque and Ratchet being first responder/medic bots are supposedly pretty strong because they are meant to basically drag a patient as fast as possible to a safe place where to treat them. Torque is slightly stronger than Ratchet not necessarily because he is old but rather because he constantly doesn’t refuel nor recharge properly.

While Torque doesn’t refuel too well either (explained in here) it isn’t as constant nor as deliberate

- while the Ratchet had already suspicions of something being off with Torque’s pain sensors during the scraplet infestation incident and other minor accurances, he had his confermation when she pretty much collapsed after a fight with decepticons as she got injured badly, didn’t notice because she didn’t feel it and just kept fighting, making the injury worse.

The damage to her pain sensors is just as unfixable as the damage that bumblebee’s voice box has.

Ratchet feels horrible that he cannot help either of his sparklings.

- The first patient she ever lost was best friend back on Cybertron . She did all she could but in the condition her friend was in there was literally nothing she could of done to save her.

Her friend was a young wrecker, part of the reason she died was due to an act of recklessness in battle.

Since her friends passing, When worried about someone she cares about doing something reckless that could result in them getting hurt , she gets mad. She doesn’t want to lose anyone else because they wanted to play hero, that’s why she gets so angry

To be fair, She tries not voice it usually but she might snap at/argue with the person in question at one point. She feels like horrible about it, she doesn’t mean to snap at people and usually she apologizes afterwards if she feels like she went too far

P.s. sorry! Misread that first prompt as Megatron instead of Magnus! I'll put another one with those two up later!

"Come now, Optimus. The great Prime is afraid of some tiny human trinkets?" Megatron chuckled.

"Laugh all you like, Megatron, but when you find yourself digging small pieces of 'confetti' out of your optic sockets you will come to be more cautious with these tiny 'trinkets'." Optimus said seriously as he set the small popping device gently aside. 

"Hm. I shall take your word for it… it does seem to be some sort of miniature weapons. Perhaps I'll offer one to Starscream later." He said mischievously. 

"If you keep antagonizing him, he's going to try and betray you again." Optimus warned.

"Oh, I'm sure he's planning something at this very moment. I may as well get some fun out of it." 

Optimus sighed and stood. "Come on, Megatron. We might as well greet the others on the bridge to see what the children have used your vehicons for."

The bridge, when they entered it, was totally dark. There were no lights, no decor — nothing visible, at least. Even the Nemesis' windows had been shuttered. 

"What in Primus's name is this?" Megatron hissed in the dark. "Optimus?"

"I do not know, old friend. Jack? Ratchet? Are you up here?"

There was a loud bang as the bridge was filled with lights. Colorful, bright, and hung on every corner of the ship. A large tree was stood in the center, covered in Cybertronian glass runes and crystal-cicles. 

It was beautiful. 

"Hm." Megatron grunted behind him. 

He was impressed, too, Optimus knew with a smile. 

"Surprise!" The kids shouted as they ran up to him. 

"What do you think, Optimus?" Miko asked. "Wheeljack taught me how to draw those Cybertronian symbols and Arcee and Jack picked the tree. Raf and Ratchet set up the lights and Bee and Bulk helped the Vehicons put everything up!"

"It looks wonderful, Miko. Thank you all for taking the time and effort to share in this celebration. It is the first time in a long time that we have been able to share our enjoyment as friends and allies."

"I agree." Megatron said. "And I hope this human tradition has some form of entertainment. After all these negotiations, we could all use some relaxation."

"Yeah!" Raf said. "We've got some music and a dance floor, a game station, some snacks…"

"Wheeljack has some spiced energon in the brig." Ratchet added in mercifully. 

"I believe I'll head there first. Maybe I will join in the other celebrations later." Megatron said. 

"Yes," Optimus added quickly. "I could use something to drink. I'll see you kids later, okay?"

"Okay!" They answered, giggling as they ran off. 

"Are all humans so…?"

"Human? Yes." Optimus chuckled as he followed Megatron to the other side of the bridge. There was a line of irritated bots in the doorway.

"Come on, Knockout! Just get your drinks! Stop getting back in line!" A vehicon shouted. 

"Agreed." Ultra Magnus said. "The rules of the Mistletoe are clearly outlined above the bar. You only need to kiss or be kissed for 10 seconds and it only needs to be once. If you wish to do more, either exit the line or return to your quarters before I return you myself."

"Is that a promise, big fella?" Knockout said breathlessly, pulling away from Breakdown long enough to ask. 

"You take front, I take back?" Breakdown winked salaciously. 

"Go!" Ultra Magnus commanded. 

"Fine, fine, we were just showing the rest of you how to do it anyway." Knockout sighed. "Oh well. Looks like it's your turn, Magnus."

"I'm aware. You, Vehicon, what is your name?"

The much shorter vehicon flinched as Magnus pointed at him. "Uh… it's Torque... sir."

"Excellent. Torque, do you consent to being my kissing partner?" Magnus asked seriously.

"Yes...sir?" 

"Very well." Magnus said before scooping the smaller vehicon up and pulling him into a kiss. 

Knockout wolf-whistled at the site. "Nevermind going back. I could watch this all night!" He said. 

After 10 seconds precisely, Magnus set the dazed vehicon on the ground and stepped into the brig. 

"Are we…?" Megatron asked. 

"Well, if you don't want to, I understand. Perhaps one of the vehicons wouldn't mind." Optimus said. 

"No, I would prefer to— well, what would it hurt?" Megatron said, casting his optics to the side. 

Optimus didn't have time to think on that statement before it was already their turn. It seemed like no one was in the line behind him. 

In fact, it seemed like there was no one around. Everyone had gone quiet. 

They were all watching. 

"Come on!" Breakdown shouted. "You gotta do it!"

"Yeah!" Bulkhead shouted back! "You have to! Don't chicken out on us!"

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" The whole crew began chanting. Even the deep rumbling voice of Trypticon seemed to have chimed in.

"Well, what say you— mff!" Optimus tried before Megatron was pulling him into a heated kiss. It was… warm, and hungry, and playful. All the things it used to be. All the things it should have been. All the things it could be again. 

Optimus wrapped his arms around Megatron, pushing back for once, chasing the taste of that glossa with his own, leaning forward until Megatron leaned back with a grunt, unable and unwilling to escape as allowed Optimus to take total control of the kiss. He could feel the excitement in Megatron's field and heard a far softer sound as placed his thigh between Megatron's. The gladiator always loved it when Optimus was forward in public, especially when it was he who was being dominant for a change. 

In… public, Optimus's processor repeated pleasantly.

Oh Primus, the kids! 

He pulled away suddenly, wincing at the pleased flush on his lovers' face and knowing they would be picking up where they left off very soon. 

And that's when the cheering hit his audials. And he saw Ratchet's furious face as he shielded the kids' eyes.

Some lil headcanon stuff for Torque lmao (ft team prime)

↳ Optimus and Ratchet are conjunxs, tho initially just Bumblebee and Torque knew as they are really private about it. They are really private about Bumblebee and Torque being their sparklings too (a bit more difficult with Torque since she really looks like Ratchet but they played it off as a coincidence. Somehow it worked for a while) The main reason for their secrecy is because they fear the decepticons will take advantage of both these informations. Team Prime eventually figured it out tho.

↳ Her Alt mode is an ambulance. Sometimes she uses her holoform as well

(This is Torque’s holoform + Ratchet’s)

↳ Torque really likes human music, any kind. Her first introduction to it happened when she got stranded alone for years before she got reunited with the team. The only signal she could pick up was a radio station’s one and to help take her mind off everything and combat the solitude she started listening to it while she scavanged for supplies or tried to find a way to contact other autobots. She picked up the habit of quietly humming along to whatever song there was, and it continued even when she arrived at the base.

She sometimes hums along when Miko happens to play her guitar at base too.

↳ Torque and Bumblebee sometimes switch places with Ratchet when they have patrol with Optimus so him and Ratchet can spend a bit of time together without interruptions. They are aware their creators are busy and often don’t have the time to do much of anything together so thats their way to help them get a bit of that time off and they offer to take on a few task to convince them to take the day off (for example Torque offers to take on Ratchet’s tasks and Bumblebee to take on an extra patrols)

↳ Most of she’s pretty friendly and cheerful but she can be very blunt at times and takes after Ratchet in some aspects.

↳ She goes along well with the team, tho she didn’t at first with Smokescreen. Being a medic like Ratchet (even tho in training she still goes to help fix and weld together injuries of the team as she is literally one of the two medics left) she saw her fair share of horrors in the battlefield and she genuinely got annoyed every time he talked about how cool it was fighting and stuff because she saw it from a medic standpoint: just a senseless spilling of energon. She eventually warmed up to him however and they became friends

She didn’t go super along with Ultra Magnus at first either

Referring to at the beginning of ep 9 season 3, the tone in which he spoke to the team kinda pissed her off, that’s when she threw a quick “you did not just use that tone” glare at him. She knows he meant well but she really didn’t like how he said all that. It felt low-key disrespectful to her

↳ Torque doesn’t fully believe decepticons can change but she doesn’t discard the possibility. Except for Megatron. She despises the guy for what he did to her brother and if she could punch him in his faceplate she would.

↳ She rarely argues with her creators, even less so with her brother

The only time she argued with Optimus it was when he decided to stay behind when the base was blown up and she argued with Ratchet when he tested the Synth-En on himself

She argued with Bumblebee when he went on patrol when he didn’t have his t-cog and put himself in danger

In all 3 occasions, she was more worried than mad

↳ Torque goes along pretty alright with Jack and Miko tho she does find Miko’s tendency to jump into the groundbridge worrying.

She goes along really well with Raf and she’s happy to answer any questions he has about Cybertron when Ratchet is too busy and Bumblebee is on patrols

She goes along enough with Fowler and June, sometimes she asks June how human medicine works

↳ Her mask and visor originally had a medical function, they were to deal with contagious viruses (such as cybonic plague), but she uses them more when fighting.

↳ Torque can’t feel pain. When she was taken by decepticons back on Cybertron, before she managed to escape with the escape pod she was tortured for information so badly that her pain sensors got damaged severely.

Because of that she can’t feel if she is critically injured in a fight and continues on until she just drops and doesn’t feel the discomfort of needing to refuel so she most of the times forgets and often runs low on energon.

Optimus is very careful in sending her in missions because of these reasons and Ratchet is trying to fix the damage but so far was unable too.

The team took first notice of this, or at least Optimus and Ratchet did, in the aftermath of the scraplet incident (she went with Arcee and Optimus in the artic but when she was back she didn’t appear to be suffering like Arcee or Optimus even being in the same condition)

(In my au Torque most likely was the one that had to patch Ratchet up and you can bet she was internally freaking out about possibly making a mistake and possibly make more damage (and also because well that’s one of her creators who’s critically injured) , but also she was trying to stay as calm as possible because she had to, being the only medic at base available.)

•Torque hatched 1 million years into the 4 million years war (id say she’s an equivalent of a 19 year old?) not only that but she hatched too early(which is dangerous for sparklings for a moltitude of reasons)

Luckly, she ended up being alright but she sure gave Optimus and Ratchet a damn good scare

• Having only known war from the moment she hatched, always been surrounded by emergencies and threats, for a while after the war ended she simply didn’t know how to adapt to a world in peace. Took her a long time

• I have made some changes into my au, and one of them is that Breakdown doesn’t die, but instead is left half dead by Arachnid and Torque happens to stumble upon him during a solo patrol

She couldn’t in good conscience leave a injured bot to die like that, so she decided to help

-I took inspiration from the RID version of the primes saving Optimus, however its not years, rather almost immediately later. Furthermore, instead of having his 2.0 look he just goes back to his previous frame, and him and Ratchet just retire on earth, occasionally looking after Raf Miko and Jack when they come to visit (the matrix goes dormant sort of)

Bumblebee and Torque take over team management and their creators’ duties, Bumblebee on Cybertron with the others Torque on earth (with Breakdown and Knockout that joined the cause duel the final battle. Ill go more into detail about it further on)

Torque and Bumblebee vehemently refuse the both of them help with their new responsibilities (because “you two deserve peace and quiet for once, dammit!”), but obviously struggle with their new positions at first
