i made a fuckton of typos typing that sentence and this one but i feel programmed to delete and correct like i don't even think about it i just do it also whenever i make a typo it doesn't look funny either so i think im just fucked actually

here's my advice if you have shitty illegible handwriting (like i do)

learn to write in fancy cursive but do not treat each letter as a letter, treat each loop as a shape

it forces you to slow down and consider every letter before you draw it, like which way does this loop go? why does 'r' look like that? how is that the right letter? loop-de-loop this is fun :) ah fuck i forogr half hte lettersin this word, shit,,, this is pen,, and joined so i can't just squeeze the letters back in there,, so i have tp reiwrite the whole fucking word and make sure to get all the letters in there and fckcu! i did it ahain! i can't even fucking read cursive why am i doing this?? wait nvm i got it

and yeah now my handwriting is vaugely legible, about the same level as it was before, but, more importantly, it's now pretty! and it's pretty in english, as opposed to tengwar which is what i used to write my notes in to make them look pretty until i forgot how to read it...

i may have been resistant to doing typing lessons on the program my parents got me as a kid but honestly being able to touchtype at a computer is really fucking helpful
