Some of these aren't original- none of them are actually. But at least you have a guide to look to when I post something and you wonder 'what is this about?'

It's mostly cute stuff- and kind of headcanons. Theres a few people that have started their own versions of these AUs inspired by my art/headcanons... And that kind of things is encouraged! Create away! (just pin me if it is inspired by me- I wanna see all of it)

There are other variations of Bee you might see on this blog- But they aren't really AUs- at least not like the ones on this post. It could be art for a fic i'm writing or fanart of someone Else's AU like the examples bellow.

Bee's design varies according to the story he's in- If it's not from an au then it'll be in the tags! I try to tag the fic name if I want to draw a lot of art for it.

Oh and- example of art from someone else's Au. The Bodyguard!B-127 Au from @whalemleck that I LOVE. (someday I'll write something with it...)

Of course I don't draw JUST B-127. You'll find a lot more other Cybertronians here. And my art style changes depending on the days... But I hope this post will Help some of you keep up with the AUs :D I'll update this post when needed.

My advice is to always use tons of references but he’s drawn pretty inconsistently in the show so I just cherry pick my favorite styles and mix them together

The (Hopefully) Comprehensive Guide to Drawing Transformers! [1]

Decided to make a little quick guide to drawing transformers/humanoid mechs because some people asked! (Plus I thought it'd be fun lol) .... Hopefully it makes sense and helps some people out :'D

how does one go about practicing on drawing mechs? like, how did you do it? I have no idea where to start aaah 😭😭 any advice would be so helpful

i have soooome notes but! truly it comes down to looking at a LOT of references! references and REPETITION!!! i swear i have dozens upon dozens of photos of characters pulled up when i start drawing. it gets easier with each time that you sketch ‘em i promise!!

(i also “cheat” a lot and look at my figures when i wanna put them in certain poses—this goes heavilyyyy for megatron LOL)

and i hate to sound like a broken record because i’m sure everyone says this…but truly i break them up into shapes! they really are just layers of geometric shapes layered on top of one another with pretty little details etched on top :)

this is kinda how i see their figures! these kinda forms are how all my drawings start out before i put the armor on top of them!

also important to remember that the inside structures of organic figures (bones/muscles/etc) are completely visible for mechs! you can see the joints and gears that bend at their knees/elbows/shoulders/hips/feet rather than them being hidden by skin and clothing. i think this is the part that i have the Most trouble with because it’s a lot of small moving parts layered together. forgive the messiness…i’m still learning myself honestly haha and this is all compiled after looking at a LOT of art and models and whatnot. included in this are hands…which have a Lot of the small exposed joints.

anywayyys that’s all i have in terms of general advice that i can give…if you have any specific questions feel free to ask! i am an open book and will do my best to answer with words or visuals lol

but really—just have fun with it! experiment and try try try again

I just had a terrible thought….

If the Baby Prime au has Transformers One in its entirety as canon…does that mean all the cogless miners had parents that gave up or had their sparklings stolen from them?

Does that mean Sentinel ripped the cogs out of the chests of newborn SPARKLINGS?!?

This got pretty dark huh… answer is not really.

Short answer: in most cases no-cogs weren’t carried, meaning they have no creators, instead they were cold constructed.

Long answer with more lore:

Cybertronian life emerges through two reproductive methods: forging, where sparks are harvested from the Well of All Sparks and put into a protoform to develop. And carriage, which is the least common method of creation, both because of its time demands and its resource cost, but also the most revered. Usually only the higher caste can afford to brink sparklings into the world this way.

And then a third method appeared after the disappearance of the Matrix of Leadership. Cybertron’s natural systems began to fail, and the Well of All Sparks went silent, halting the emergence of new sparks from it. Faced with dwindling numbers, Sentinel Prime introduced a new solution: the mass manufacturing of Cybertronians through artificial means, cold construction.

Cold construction involves the creation of artificial sparks and implanting them into pre-fabricated protoforms. These protoforms are often manufactured in large batches and shaped for specific functions, like soldier, medic, miner, enforcer, etc. This method allowed for fast expansion of Cybertron's populace, but at the cost of individuality. Cold constructs were seen by many as lesser, built to serve rather than to live.

Because the cold construction process is mechanized and impersonal, with protoforms and sparks created and combined in mass-production facilities, flaws in either part of the process can result in frame inconsistencies or functional anomalies. The protoforms aren’t grown naturally but cast, shaped, and assembled, and often rushed through calibration phases. As a result, some Cybertronians emerge with variations or “mistakes”. For example, Jazz’s mismatched optic coloring that impairs his vision, or Prowl’s abnormal neural processing, which results in his propensity to crashes.

Out of this system emerged an even more heavily controlled subset: the no-cog Cybertronians, or no-cogs. Most of the cogless began their life as cold constructs, who during the early development of their protoforms, their T-cogs were manually removed, a process done while their frames are still forming. This intervention not only strips them of their transformation ability, but also stunts their structural growth, resulting in their smaller frames.

Bee is trying to figure out why that name and face remind him of the memorial Sentinel constructed in Iacon for the High Guardsmechs who died in the last days of the war against the Quintessons.

Continuing the thought from my previous post. This one is a bit of a stretch and prob insane but just have to put it out of my head.

The idea of including Ultra Magnus into the Wreckers team of TFP (initially just Bulkhead, Wheeljack and Miko) would have been beneficial for Miko as a character, as he introduces something although not new, but in a more effective way than previously done: a clear chain of command and an actual authoritative figurehead.

Bulkhead despite being her official Autobot guardian, could not tell her what to do. Nobody could really but as her assigned guardian, shits get worse with him. Sure she would listen in desperate situation calls for, but more often than not, he has little control over her actions. He acts similar to a protector, who looks for her back rather than a guide.

Wheeljack is clearly her enabler. His tendency for acting spontaneous and chaotic plays well with her thrill for action, he considers her a full blown partner although she is a human teenager, and she could have been crushed with a simple step or blown apart by a blast shot when spying inside that cape in ss2 ep 16 (its ep 16 not 17).

Most of the time the Bots avoid needing the kids’ physical involvement unless absolute necessary or there are some sorts of guarantied backup. That spying part had none of those, and let’s say it’s straight up a bless for Wheeljack that the others did not know about it.

So introducing himself as the commanding officer, Ultra Magnus basically turns their relationship into something professional, and creating a somewhat distance between him and the others.

Yes it was discussed in the series as a bad thing, but maintaining a professional realtionship could have done wonders for Miko, because this is not another alien friend like Bulkhead, Wheeljack, Bee or even Arcee, this is an military officer, closer to how Optimus is to them with a mix of Fowler, but even more distant and professional. By putting himself on a higher pedestal, Magnus has a better chance (emphasis on chance, let’s be real and not delulu) to tell her what to do, and with the fact that she later received the Apex Armor and could fight in the frontline, she absolutely needs a better guidance in battle strategy than “go apeshit crazy”.

Although having no regard for authority, Miko does respect people who earns it and will listen to them if necessary. Basically if you let her walk all over you, she will but if you assert your authority while still respect her as an individual, she will take you seriously.

TLDR I’m telling you he acts best as her drill sergeant/ teacher because with him everyone will be treated all the same as soldiers, so equal right equal fight whether you are a bot or human.
