Concept art for an cancelled Transformers project that would have been a sequel to the Beast Machines cartoon, called Transtech
It would have the characters turning into vehicles with slight animal characteristics, and seemingly include characters from older shows like Megatron and Starscream, but ended up being cancelled after Beast Machines did not perform as well as the previous Beast Wars. Instead they decided to dub the Car Robots anime series, named Robots in Disguise in the west.
The name Transtech did end up being used in some stories published mostly on conventions, as a alternate and more futuristic dimension that looks over the franchise's multiverse

the more i think about it, the more i realize i have a tf japanese media superiority and i think theyre all better than earthspark and (controversly) prime. its not a "transformers, japan 😍" kind of mindset, i just think jp tf is much more creative. why? sure, prime and earthspark have better animation than all the collective japanese transformers media, and the writing is infinitely better than a lot of the japanese cartoons.
HOWEVER, while tf japanese media has bad writing and bad animation, japanese tf media arent afraid to deviate away from the status quo when it comes to designs and characterization because they dont really care about the status quo hasbro keeps on instilling in all their tf shows (expect for beast wars). plus even if japanese transformers media has bad writing, i dont really care as much bc at least the writers are genuinely writing a cartoon for a glorified toy commercial instead of trying to be "i am going to write a funny but profound tf cartoon" only for the writers to go back to the status quo bc hasbro rejected their ideas. like my expectations were low and they were met, while some american tf media made my low expectations higher the further i go in, then it all came crashing down.
so stop calling armada starscream "thundercracker" bc he is not!!! its still a starscream vying for respect and power, just written differently. same as beast wars ii starscream where hes the ORIGINAL gay diva and looks better than that mosquito from prime. speaking of bwii, i miss drama queen megatron from beast wars ii, there should be more comical drama queen megatron for diversity and sustenance. and hot shot from armada should replace bumblebee as the new yellow car of the franchise (sorry bumblebee, youre just so overrused 😭). the new cartoon wild king is so childish it makes me genuinely cry tears of joy!!! and the cancelled transtech cartoon had really cool redesigns of some characters!!! if i wanted bots hanging out i would just read transformers go go if it wasnt so unaccessible. earthspark just introduces new bots/terrans but thats it!!! after s1, the status quo is still there unfortunately. the only tf japanese media we really need to burn down is kp and i hate that theres a resurgence of content for that p/do ass media bc of that one bumbass nsfw twt artist and his weirdo supporters.

Do you have any headcannons about BM Nightscream?
do i ever… this is kind of just canon but he definitely likes classic rock. i would love nothing more than to stare at the ceiling and listen to pink floyd with him. i also think he’s kind of a pop culture and subculture nerd in general… like who just quotes planet of the apes as their first line in the show 🤨
i wish he and cheetor got more screen time together, it seems like they only ever talk strategy which idk maybe that really is the extent of their relationship but it could be anything. at the same time i really like that he seems to get along way better with rattrap and blackarachnia, it only makes sense since his personality is more like theirs than cheetor’s (within bm it’s easy to forget he’s actually pretty cheerful and i imagine him going right back to that once the apocalypse is dealt with)
between noble, rav (a toy-only sentient (?) drone) and all the maximals being older than him i think he’s the sort of person who can befriend any type of person
i don’t think he’d be obsessed with them or anything but i think he’d be absurdly, absurdly good at rhythm games. oh and since he can sing the frequency to sever peoples’ sparks from their body (so overpowered and also so interesting to think about irt to megatron whose whole thing is that he took everyone’s sparks out… really any comparison of him and megatron/noble is fascinating) he definitely has perfect pitch
i think being critical comes extremely naturally to him, he’s the sort of person where you can name anything and he can instantly think of 10 things he doesn’t like about it. he’s the roast-on-demand friend
i think he would go to any of the maximals for life advice but blackarachnia would usually be his first choice. it’s probably because i’ve watched terminator 2 and aliens too many times but their relationship is everything to me, and i believe the intent was to have him see her as a mother figure but i like that it turned out more ambiguous and could be aunt or sister-like or something with no human equivalent
i wish he and botanica EVER interacted. if he didn’t already have an interest in science i think being surrounded by only scientists for months would definitely give him one, she can teach him much in the ways of botany. i have also wondered whether his vampirism will be a problem post-canon, like does he need to feed on others’ energy to survive or is that just something he can do? i think probably the latter but in the case that he did, i can see botanica being the one to walk him through that existential crisis
i think his alt mode being a bat suits him perfectly and even though there was no action on his part in adopting it i love how it happened, but if he ever changed it… i think a dragon would be fitting, sort of like a bat but more powerful… a callback to noble…
there’s like never a point where he's actually in charge of something but i bet he’d be a great leader (he is based on john connor after all). i really wish transtech (the planned but cancelled beast machines sequel) happened because i really want to see what he would be like as a young adult, i would want him to take over cheetor’s role as second-in-command since cheetor would take optimus’ place as leader…

yeah lmao the amount of mass displacement that happens in that show makes one think the sunbow characters are all transtech (transcendant technomorphs) or something...
this whole thing with Megs as a pistol was responded to in full by the way of characters Browning and Mini-Megatron
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Greenlight's pistol in the My Little Pony / Transformers The Magic of Cybertron crossover in the second #1 story, "A Real Mother," is heavily based on Dazzlestrike, the sword - cat transformer who came with her WFC Siege transformer toy
Tumblr media
[also for your information, Greenlight/Arcee is a thing in three continuities now, the first one being IDW 2019, the second being the MLP crossover, and the third is the TTRPG, which considering Aileron is a player character pregen in the beginner box set that Gauge (you know, Greenlight and Arcee's kid) is also in and Arcee is an NPC for the campaign the box set begins (The Time Is Now) (not to mention her pal Anode is also a pregen character), Greenlight/Arcee/Aileron is a fairly easily conclusion to make]
when i started watching g1 for the first time, i was NOT prepared for whatever the fuck its doing with Megatron's transformation😭😭

it gave me so much psychic damage

Ever observed any negative polarity Viron universes?
Dear Viron Virtuoso,
Not directly, but I have encountered a Scourge whose origins are believed to lie in such a reality. He claims to have been an Autobot protoform exposed to the benevolent energy of the Predacon Megatron's ember; where he would have once been a horrid villain like his positive-polarity counterpart, he now claims to be an upstanding hero.
He was stranded in Axiom Nexus after a freak occurrence, and the subject of much scrutiny and analysis as one of the few negative-polarity individuals to find themselves in the Nexus. His resemblance to Optimus Prime was an additional matter of concern. However, with the falling of the Shroud, transporting him home went from an already difficult situation to an outright impossibility.
He fell in with what remains of the Convoy in Axiom Nexus, and over time has proven to be an effective member. Nevertheless, he’s been noted to share a certain ambition with his positive-polarity counterpart, leading to speculation that his supposed negative-polarity background is only a cover story. TransTech scientists were unable to zero in on any dimensional coordinates from this individual’s transwarp signal, further fuelling conspiracy theories.
Regardless of whether he’s an honest native of a negative-polarity universe, or simply a “regular” Scourge seeking a new start, his contributions to Axiom Nexus have been undeniably noble.

Dear Cy-Kill what is thoughts the alternate versions of yourselves dying repeatedly like a running gag? Does it insult you or?
Insulted is vague term in this situation here, I am not insulted by that… I AM INFURIATED BY THOSE CAME UP WITH THE IDEA OF MY SUFFERING!!!
Ok ranting aside I obviously I wouldn’t die that easily even as a pure Transformer where the alternate versions of myself resided, I know I am not invincible and unbeatable but still!
At least my death in what you called 2005 IDW continuity was probably at least had dignity in it when mu counterpart was in a fight with Megatron in gladiatorial pits of Kaon there. At least version of me died fighting.
Tumblr media
In Dreamwave at least Leader-1 died with me so not a total loss here. Still embarrassing though being sentenced to death by Shockwave in that universe.
Tumblr media
The green one is technically isn’t me so no thoughts for him.
Tumblr media
In the Dreamwave Armada I don’t really know since that version of me died offscreen so can’t really come up with a reaction if I don’t know who or what killed that version of me so no comment here.
Tumblr media
The latest one is probably most stupid one of them all being defeated by having a door kicked down on me and crushed me. How embarrassing but I was probably caught off guard right there or something. Hopefully they reveal I survived that or else they will pay more since it wasn’t explicated if it ended me or not?
Tumblr media
At least the Malgus me is not dead and he definitely good looking and charming there too.
Tumblr media
Oh for Transtecb version of myself be is probably the worst he is too much of a soft one so I took care of him myself and posed as him where I eventually created the Renegade Rhetoric you all know and love.
Tumblr media
A soon I find a way of reaching your Quadwal cluster those who came up with alternate selves suffering pay very greatly here for making me looking weak here.

absolutely no nsfw art/writing/propaganda - one of the mods is a minor. obviously, mechpreg is allowed and does not count.
@smoked-salmon-official mod uses xe/it/they pronouns!
As many of you may know, unfortunately, due to botting, Megatron was disqualified from @need-him-pregnant-poll contest do to botting issues. To make up for it, I will be running a poll contest with Megatrons from all different continuities of Transformers in a similar vein...
Tumblr media
this is the bracket! all versions were put into a random wheel and spun to determine who was up against who in waht order, to ensure absolute fairness.
The bracket will be updated accordingly with each round. To keep track of the latest results, use the poll links or #concluded polls.
Every version of the poll will run for one week. First round polls will be posted in batches of two every other day and the bracket will be updated accordingly at the end of each round.
Propoganda is encouraged and I will try my best to reblog all of it. However, though mechpreg is obviously allowed, no NSFW or valveplug. Suggestive is okay! I will let you know if/when the line between suggestive and nsfw is crossed.

yeah as a transformers fan (and recently writer!) that's a nightmare and a half. G1 includes: 2 cartoons, several distinct comic runs over 40 years (not including SG), a few books, a movie, and many others.
This doesn't even cover transplanting characters from other continuities in there. What if I wanted to write a fic where Rung and Megatron (MtMtE) wind up in the G1 american cartoon? What if TFP Knockout was in that one choose your own adventure g1 book series? What if I wanted to write literally anything about transtech
Tumblr media
is there a 'script reading' fandom type?
Tumblr media
It's a fandom type issue.
For many fandoms, the AMT tag is just pointless bloat.
But for the fandoms where people routinely write mix-and-match canon, you kind of need a tag that reflects that. I'm thinking "Batman" or "Transformers" as broad fandom concepts rather than a very specific piece of media.
People bring up anime a lot. Some are a very faithful adaptation of a manga, but a lot aren't, so I don't think this one is as bad across the board, but you definitely do get cases where a combined tag is more sensible.

So. Is Punch gonna have a ""talk"" with his creations after they get this all resolved?
When Jazz reached Polihex, all he wanted to do was find Prowl. He imagined what he would do if he found a trick with him, imagined the way he would hurt the mechanisms who used his beloved but Jazz knew better to than to give into energon lust. It was not enough to find Prowl, he needed to save Prowl, save their creation, save Barricade and his nephew, save anyone who wanted to be saved from that life. Striking in the dark-cycle, while the tricks cycled through the brothel would not serve this at all. That did not mean that patience came easy.
Jazz hugged Ricochet as soon as he found him. He knew his brother was hurting. It had never been clear to him what Ricochet had felt for Barricade and maybe still felt. When he had moved on so fast with Artfire, Jazz had pulled away a bit; he had wondered if Ricochet had not expected him to do the same. Seeing Ricochet now, Jazz wondered if his hunch had not been right all along and Barricade had been more than just a friend with benefits.
They did not comfort each other so much as sit together in their shared guilt. There could be no comfort, not until they had their mechanisms safe. He knew Prowl may not forgive him, safe for him and the mechling would not necessarily be in Jazz's life, if Prowl wanted him to stay away, Jazz would stay away. Whether they were in the same room or Jazz could only monitor from a distance, Jazz would make certain he would be safe and provided for, forever.
The brothers did not have long to wait for Punch to arrive. Jazz could not look at his ori in the optics. He felt his anger, his shame and his disappointment. It lashed his spark like an invisible whip and Jazz knew he deserved every strike. Next to him, Ricochet did not flinch, like Jazz, he knew this was a disappointment Ori was unlikely to forgive. Punch said nothing at first, watching his twin creations as they sat on the lumpy hotel berth and stared at the floor like a pair of scolded younglings.
"I thought I raised ya better than to use mecha," Punch said, softly.
He had. Punch was righteous. This world was more grey than black and white but there were rules to ever shade. In their craft it was easy to become wicked and Punch had a complex web of rules he lived by and he had raised his creations by to keep from becoming monsters. It was a complicated balancing act and Jazz and Ricochet had jumped off the rope with no net below them to catch them. He would have been angry, knowing they had left lovers without a glyph or a goodbye. Treating mechanisms like they were disposable was perhaps Punch's most hated character trait. Jazz had all his excused, had lived with them and by them for vorns but he knew they would be hollow in Ori's audials.
"Wasn't tryin' to us 'm, Ori," Jazz said, without lifting his helm. "Couldn't stay, he couldn't go."
"Ya gave 'em no way to reach ya," Punch said.
"No," Jazz replied. "Megatron mighta tracked us."
"Megatron mighta tortured 'em, thinkin' they knew where yous was gone," Punch countered and Jazz bowed his helm lower. They had been discreet but there was no telling how much Soundwave picked up, he never let on. "Ya left 'm to die."
"They didn't..." Jazz argued, snapping his helm up to stare into his originator's enraged faceplates.
"They coulda," Punch snapped. "They coulda died. 'N maybe they're alive now but it's been a livin' death."
"If I'da thought Prowler'd e'er leave..."
"What made ya so sure he wouldn't?"
"He hates, he hated the Autobots wit every filament in his spark," Jazz replied. "He hated everythin' they represented, everythin' they guarded. I thought... I thought he'da looked at those bitlets I killed 'n called 'em casualties of war... I couldn't talk to'em. I couldn't argue wit 'em. So I didn't."
"And ya, Rico?" Punch asked.
"Cade was constructed to be Prowl's guard," Ricochet replied. "He took it serious. They're close as brothers. I knew he wouldn't leave without Prowl. So I didn't ask'm to."
"Ya just left."
"Yeah, I just left."
"Neither o' ya deserve forgiveness," Punch said. "Gettin'em out don't mean ya deserve scrap. Ya left 'em, 'n they suffered for it. They watched their bitlets suffer for it. Gettin'em out is the least ya can do. 'N I expect ya to do more than the least, whether they give ya the time o' mega-cycle or not."
"Yeah, Ori," Jazz said. Ricochet nodded. "What do we do? It's a Swindle operation?"
"Which Swindle? Do we know?" Punch asked.
"The blue one," Ricochet replied.
"Oh good," Punch replied. "That's the dumb one. He ain't hooked up wit the Combaticons so none o'em will be 'round as armed guards... First things first, we get into the accounts..."
(Joke from Transtech, there are three Swindles and they run Swindle, Swindle and Swindle in Axiom Nexxus. They've split off into their own ventures here.)

Okay. Epilogue time!
So, these epilogues are based on best to worst case scenarios. The initial ending for the Legacy story is the absolute best case scenario, as Primus's final battle with Unicron convinced the will of the multiverse to surrender and leave the Transformers alone.
This first one is the middle ground scenario (the worst case will be a separate reblog). Here, all major Optimus Primes unite to face an oncoming darkness, born from the malice of the multiverse's will. All Optimus Primes are labeled by the name of their continuity (Legacy will be counted as his own thing, despite being a G1-adjacent Optimus).
Part 1
Legacy travels the multiverse at the request of the Transtech. Legacy reveals his history to his counterpart, which ultimately convinces the latter to let Legacy do what he thinks is right, instead of following orders. Legacy gives his gratitude and heads off.
Legacy first encounters the Optimus he is most similar to; Aligned. The two Primes share each other's experiences, with Legacy meeting Aligned's group of Autobot and human allies. The two also share their sorrow and grief over the countless lives lost in the war.
Legacy then meets the (potentially) strongest Optimus: The Optimus Prime of the Unicron Trilogy. The two admittedly have some complications regarding a discussion about Megatron, though do come to several agreements and spot multiple similarities between them.
Part 2
Legacy meets up with Transtech to explain what's been going on. The two ultimately get into a discussion about each other and their own similarities. Legacy is impressed and overjoyed by Transtech taking a more peaceful stance, rather than going to war, while Transtech is inspired by Legacy's ability to see the light even in the dark wars.
Legacy then enters the world of Animated, shocked by how young his counterpart is. The two discuss their various differences, which leads to Legacy forcing Sentinel to step down, leaving Cybertron without a Magnus. Legacy and Animated discuss that the former is proud of his counterpart and Ultra Magnus.
Legacy then winds up in the live-action films...and is horrified by the violence and chaos in it. He ultimately can not get along with his counterpart and the humans, furious by just how much unnecessary violence they have breed across their universe. Legacy can't help but feel that Unicron would love this universe for its horror.
Part 3
Legacy and Transtech discuss the former's outburst. Legacy is still furious and horrified by the events of the live action films, despite Transtech's attempts to help him understand that they need a light to guide them. Legacy doesn't think he's the person for it, while Transtech reminds him that his kindness and compassion is his greatest strength.
Legacy then visits the world of RID'01, which he likes a lot more and reminds him of the early days on Earth with its more slapstick nature. He and his counterpart talk and RID'01 Optimus is both shocked and thrilled that he and Magnus each have a child in Legacy's world, while Legacy is thrilled by how peaceful and joyous his counterpart's world is.
Legacy then arrives in the Shattered Glass counterpart of his own universe, meeting this SG Optimus. Legacy and SG talk, with SG revealing how he's more or less an anti-hero now. Legacy is not happy, but is glad that SG is still fighting for justice and peace. Legacy gives him the power of Nemesis Prime, believing him to be worthy of such power.
Part 4
Transtech warns Legacy of the oncoming darkness, explaining that they will need allies soon. Legacy realizes that this was the main reason for his travels, with Transtech apologizing for not being honest, nor wanting to ruin Legacy's peaceful journey. Legacy is very understanding, grateful that his counterpart values the former's wellbeing.
Legacy arrives in the worlds of Earthspark and Cyberverse. He is both shocked and very proud of Earthspark Megatron for ceasing to be a Decepticon and ending the war twice over.
A/N: I have not watched either of these shows, so I can’t give any further details about Legacy Optimus’s travels here. Sorry.
Eventually, everyone is forced into the void outside of space and time, with Legacy and Transtech discussing what they will fighting against. The latter explains that it’s the multiverse’s second attempt to make some sense of control over their worlds.
Legacy realizes that fate is trying to suppress them yet again…and takes charge of the main Optimus Primes, summoning G1 and G2 to the void as well.
Final Part
The Optimus Primes (sans G1, G2, Legacy, SG, and Transtech) cannot get along with each other. LAM is too violent, Aligned is understandably desperate for peace, RID’01 and UT are too powerful, and Animated, Cyberverse, and Earthspark are (in comparison) much younger than the others. SG was formerly evil as well and they know nothing about Transtech.
Legacy silences the squabbling, explaining that they are facing a threat more dangerous than Unicron, thus more important than whatever differences they may have between each other. He reminds them that they must fight…as freedom is the right of all sentient beings. They must be better than who they are; not in strength, but rather, in spark. They need to be strong enough to be gentle.
The Optimus Primes rally around Legacy, who leads them against the will of the multiverse, which takes the form of an eldritch-horror-like Optimus Prime. He is more powerful than anything the Primes have faced, but the Optimuses have unity and freedom on their side.
The battle is almost evenly matched, but the will of the multiverse gains the upper hand. Eventually, it becomes too challenging that Legacy is forced to merge all the Optimus Primes in the singularity version of the Thirteenth Prime. This fusion proves to be too great for the will of the multiverse, as the eldritch Optimus is destroyed by the Thirteenth.
The Optimus Primes then return to normal, their memories of the event fading. Legacy thanks Transtech for his help, with the latter returning the gratitude in kind. SG also thanks Legacy for giving him a chance to help his world, ultimately choosing to align himself with the Transtech to do his part.
Legacy returns to his world, happy to know that his legacy will live on, but is also exhausted by the events he went through.
Transformers and GI Joe story idea.
Heyo.
So, given Skybound's current Transformers and GI Joe comics are out now...and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Transformers, I figured I'd share my idea for a Transformers Legacy and GI Joe Classified story.
I should point out that, while not important, Rom and the Micronauts do exist in this story.
This initial post is for Transformers. GI Joe will be in another post.
Okay. So some build up.
1: This is set in present day.
2: Optimus Prime (a fusion of the Peter Cullen Primes (G1/G2, movie, and Aligned), thus sharing their forms and abilities through the Reconfiguration Matrix) is retired from active service. Most of the 1984-86 cast are retired, actually. Optimus is done. He can’t take the constant pressure of the war and the guilt it gives him. Instead, he does his own justice.
3: The war was thought to be over, however, that hasn't stopped some from trying to start it again. That said, some characters, like Soundwave and Thundercracker (heavily inspired by their IDW counterparts) are helping with making sure the conflict is minimal. Most of the Decepticon cast don't want another war, actually.
Characters who gained more prominence in the later shows, like the Unicron Trilogy, Super-God Masterforce, and Victory characters for example, are here too (though some have to be renamed to not make things confusing). This includes the humans.
Garry Chalk Optimus Prime, who still leads his respective Autobots, is reimagined as this universe’s Primus (the Transformers creator). The David Kaye Megatron is reimagined as Unicron.
The Primus of this Legacy-inspired story will be based on certain forms of UT Optimus. Unicron is a mix of Armada Megs and Unicron. I know it's probably lame in comparison to Primus, but Armada Megatron had the best design.
7: Car Robots Optimus and Magnus is here, but as an original character named in their Japanese names. BOTH are female, inspired by the only canonical female Optimus that was sadly only a recolor of Car Robots Optimus..and not an original design.
8: EACH iteration of Transformers occurs as if it happened on the day of its release. For example, the 1986 film occurs in 1986, not the year 2005 as stated in the film. Of course, certain things are changed in order to not make this a mess.
9: Optimus Prime is a character who dares to challenge and surpass fate and destiny at any opportunity he gets. For example, he survives his 1986 encounter with Megatron...and uses the Matrix to resurrect everyone who died in the event.
Main Story
Part 0: So, this whole thing started as a mix of the cartoons, while slowly became more IDW and movie-verse like, much to the dismay of Optimus and some of the Autobots. During an All Hail Megatron-inspired event, Thundercracker leaves and berates Soundwave before doign so, leaving the communications officer stunned by the seeker's courage.
Soundwave then goes through every event that's been cataloged in the base's files, before realizing just how far the Decepticon dream has fallen. He usurps Megatron shortly after and brings him to the Autobots, taking command of the Decepticons after a brutal fight with Starscream.
Megatron is found to be suffering from extreme insanity, which is treated during his prison sentence. With that, in the year of 2014 (30 years after the Transformers' initial arrival on Earth), the war is officially brought to an end.
Then in 2019, a new generation of Decepticons emerge (lead by Starscream), before forced to retreat after the arrest of their leader. And with that, most of the 1980s cast chose to retire after Optimus and Rodimus step down as Autobot commanders. The war remains ongoing, but on a smaller scale.
Part 1: The plot surrounds the Autobots (ALL of them) as they attempt to repel the new wave of Decepticons Should point out that some former members have either changed sides, become unaffiliated, or (like Optimus Prime) retired. Frank Welker Megatron is an example of the last one.
Not sure what reasons this new generation of Decepticons will have, other than that they're more aligned with Unicron. Optimus uses his Super Mode Stellar Optimus/Star Convoy rarely here, opting to chose his base robot mode upgrades, like G2 Hero and Laser Optimus.
A few major members escape. Others surrender. Unicron begins to manipulate the future to further his schemes, as he's realizing who and what he and Primus truly are. Primus knows who he is and what he must do, but the Matrix is sacrificed to give the god his answers.
Interlude 1: Optimus struggles with being brought back into the war, which leads to him seeking Magnus's own guidance. The two stay alone for a majority of their time in this...and ultimately, Optimus feels like he's making progress and thanks his twin brother.
The two reminisce about the days before the war, wondering their older siblings (the original Nemesis Primes), grandparents (Nova's predecessor and Alpha Trion), Uncle (Sentinel Prime),and their father (Nova Prime) would feel about them right now. Optimus thinks about Elita and wonders if she's disgusted by his conflicting actions and behavior.
However, human terrorist groups that the Autobots have dealt with in the past return for some vengeance. Not wishing to fight, Optimus radios in an emergency ground bridge for an escape. Despite his efforts to prevent more losses from happening, Magnus uses himself as a shield to defend his brother.
Upon hearing the confirmation that Magnus is gone, Optimus loses it, willingly giving in to his built up rage and stress. He actively tracks down the terrorists responsible and unleashes absolute hell on them. Despite his rage, he chooses not to kill, but instead ensures that the terrorists will fear him for all time.
Upon returning, a funeral is held for Magnus...and Optimus contemplates as to if he should return to solitude.... Primus and Optimus's closest friends convince him not to, as Magnus would want him to continue protecting his loved ones.
Part 2: The Maximals and Predacons arrive to present day from the future. The Predacons wish to change their future, while the Maximals wish to preserve it. Unlike most retellings of the Beast Wars, both sides are fighting an understandable cause, but for different reasons, which causes friction. Primal is the legal surname of Optimus Primal, Lio, and Big Convoy. Convoy is the rank, with OP being titled Kong Convoy.
The Autobots and Decepticons are in the background this time, working to rebuild after the short-lived second Great War, but a few provide major supporting roles (like Primus and Peter Cullen Optimus). Also, the initial three Beast Wars series did happen, leading to BW Megatron and BW Galvatron's demise at the hands of Dinobot and Lio Convoy (legally named Leonidas Primal here) respectively. Big Convoy is also given the legal name of Mammoton Primal and given a less-shell-formy design.
Primus manages to diffuse tensions, successfully getting the Maximals and Predacons to work together and change their future for the best. He and Unicron are seriously injured, nearly causing a paradox. Primus is upgraded to the form I described, before traveling back in time (with an imprisoned Unicron) to meet The One (the creator of the TF multiverse and Primus and Unicron) and restore history as a result.
Interlude 2: Primus, before leaving, gives Optimus the temporary ability to travel to any universe and multiverse he wishes for (in his universe's timeline) one month. Ecstatic, Optimus takes his vacation, eager to get a chance to truly relax and have fun. He first travels to a world similar to Beast Wars Uprising, which greatly disturbs him, meeting more Maximal descendants of his, like Convobat (voiced by Kevin Conroy) and Aquila Convoy.
He ultimately helps prevent the war from leading to a Vehicon scenario and arrests the Builders personally, displaying and feeling a greater sense of responsibility, as this is what would've happened if he died and there was no Matrix.
Optimus's reconfiguration matrix upgrades him by granting him a new super mode comprised on the three sacred animals of Japan; A phoenix for the back and chest, a lion/tiger for the right arm, and a dragon for the legs and left arm. This is called Beast King Optimus/Juou Convoy. Very Brave series.
Huge issue is that this form is hard to control and is mainly a berserker transformation.
Optimus then enters the multiverse of the Braves franchise, meeting and helping out various heroes like the OG Exkaiser, fan favorites Might Gaine and J-Decker, Goldran, even the king himself: Gaogaigar. Eventually, Optimus's rage gets the better of him again, but after being inspired by the people he's met across time and space, he successfully overcomes it, merging his Super Modes together to become a Great Combiner himself: Great Optimus/Great Convoy.
To make sure his presence doesn't screw up the Braves' multiverse, Optimus sacrifices this new form to keep the multiverse stable, before returning home.
Part 3: The deceased 11 of the original Transformers (the 13 Primes) come back to life and attempt to bring back the Golden Age. However, their views are significantly warped after what lead to their downfall. The Autobots, Decepticons, and their descendants unite to stop them, no matter the cost.
Optimus also restores the Matrix in response to this plight, becoming its bearer once more and reborn into his former glory, restoring his Great form in exchange for his Hero and Laser forms. Five members of the 13 also join, realizing how misguided they've become.
They are Nexus, Vector, Alpha Trion, Alchemist, and Micronus. Speaking of the OG Primes, the four Guiding Hand members (excluding Primus obviously) and Logos Prime are instead treated as students/successors to the 13. The Last Autobot is instead the codename for Teletraan 1's Ark robot mode.
Optimus and Megatron are revealed to be the Thirteenth and Megatronus respectively, having been reincarnated, thus retaining NO memories of their past. Optimus meets his siblings, Elita, Nova Prime, Sentinel Prime, and various deceased human allies after a near-death experience, all encouraging him to continue living and fighting for what he believes is right.
Interlude 3: This mainly just goes over what Primus and Unicron have been doing since going to the past. It goes over how The One (the source of the entire multiverse, kinda like The One Above All from Marvel) came into contact with this Primus and Unicron, before making them his wards, much to the ire of his other wards: The Vok.
Gaea is also in this, being the core of Earth. Primus and her have a tight sibling relationship, with Primus viewing her as the big sister. Eventually, Primus creates the life we now today, viewing them as his offspring and loving them dearly. Unicron returns to his old ways, which finally pushes Primus to the breaking point.
As the brothers fight, Primus desperately tries to keep anyone else from getting harmed. Unfortunately, Gaea uses herself as a shield for Primus, dying in her brother's arms. Unicron flees, while Primus makes Gaea the core of Earth, naming the planet after her as he knows what will happen in the future.
Primus and Unicron's feud continues, which results in more loss of life, frustrating and causing more heartache to Primus. In a desperate attempts, he creates the 12 members of the Covenant (from 3H's comics), before they willing choose to become the 13 Primes: The original Transformers. Optimus Prime is the only one of the group who was a unique creation and not a reborn Covenant member.
Unicron is finally thwarted for now...but not all is done. Primus witnesses Cybertron's growth to what it is today. He watches the fall of the Thirteen, the arrogance of Prima, the betrayal of Liege Maximo, the redemption of Megatronus, and the vengeance and grief of Optimus.
And now we are lead to present day, where it's revealed that Unicron's attack on Gaea had infected her, forcing Primus to mercy-kill her. Primus reluctantly restores Optimus and Megatron's memories of their past lives, before letting them make their own decisions with this knowledge as he returns to Cybertron.
Part 4: Unicron (in his present day form) arrives to Earth, while Primus returns from present day Cybertron to protect his home and family. This final battle between the gods is played like a tribute to every final battle in the franchise, as well as a tribute to the mecha genre (as Mazingers Z and Great, the old and new Getter teams, the RX-78-2 and Extreme Gundams, and Brave Exkaiser and Gaogaigar join in), with Primus as the victor. BOTH die, which gives the Transformers a chance to live without having to worry about the gods' feud.
The remaining escaped Decepticons, still loyal to Unicron, attempt to use the Nemesis to destroy the Autobots. Primus lends Optimus his power, growing into a Titan and giving him the strength to destroy the Nemesis by using the Ark. With all threats now finally gone, Optimus dies peacefully as he witnesses the most beautiful sunrise he's seen.
The Matrix is passed to Optimus Primal, evolving him to Primal Prime (or Rebirth Convoy), and the Maximals and Predacons head back to their now-changed time period.
Somewhere across the multiverse...Optimus Prime, Megatron, Optimus Primal, BW Megatron, Garry Chalk, David Kaye, Frank Welker, and Peter Cullen are all hanging out and relaxing on the beach in the glow of a brilliant sunrise.
Till All Are One.
Will give this Optimus Prime hypothetical epilogue/retirement stories where he travels the multiverse and meets other Optimus Primes, making the whole Thirteenth Prime connection even stronger, besides the simple reincarnation. He will also go up against the will of the multiverse (so basically Hasbro, Paramount, Takara, and potentially the entire fandom and hatedom).

Hi there, I’m Andrew. I just came across your finding on the subject and I have to say, it’s FUCKING AMAZING !!!
As a fan of Mainframe, I grew up watching ReBoot, Beast Wars, Beast Machines (I enjoyed it as a separate continuity and found it jarring when they tried to tie it with Beast Wars) and Shadow Raiders/War Planets, I daresay they had among the best people working for them !
I feel very let down with apparent fan reaction to Megatron “willingly give up” his duel with Optimus in the finale; the former was never going to admit he was wrong because let’s be honest, a villain never thinks themselves as such. Yes, regrets may be present but ultimately they are compelled to do “the ultimate sacrifice” to achieve an everlasting dream.
I love the commentaries at the end of each page. Very insightful ! Kudos to you and your hard work !
I’ve been sat on this message for a week now because I’m really touched by it.  Thank you for reading my zine!  I’m glad you enjoyed it.  I put a lot of hard work into it.
See what all the fuss is about over on @transtech-zine!

Page 04:
CHARACTER BIOS
Cheetor – Supreme Commander
Not that long ago, Cheetor was an impulsive, speed-obsessed punk.  Then he was forced to step up as a squad leader during the Battle of the Sparks.  Now, for what he feels was merely being in the right place at the right time, Cheetor must face his most challenging role yet: leader of Cybertron.  He doesn’t doubt that he’s still the fastest cat on two or four wheels; it’s the responsibility of running a planet that weighs heavy on his shoulders.  After all, why should he and his team lead Cybertron just because they were the ones to liberate it?
Optimus Prime senses great potential in Cheetor, and has taken him on as a mentee – tutelage for which Cheetor is grateful.  While he chafes when Optimus oversteps his bounds and starts giving his team orders, on some level he’d like to be that cocksure rookie again.
Under Optimus, Cheetor has honed his Transcendence ability.  He no longer needs to dream to see a prophetic vision of the future; now his Transcendence allows him a flash of foresight.  Combined with his super speed, this makes Cheetor a dangerous and evasive adversary in any combat situation.
Optimus Prime – Mentor
The legendary leader of the Autobots.  Once, he singlehandedly ended the Great War by trapping himself and Decepticon High Command in the Millennia Dome, ensuring they would be suspended in time for all eternity… barring accidents.  Now, Optimus Prime finds himself on an unfamiliar Cybertron, surrounded by new faces and old enemies.  Allying himself with Cheetor’s squad of former Maximals, Optimus is committed to ensuring that Megatron’s forces do not shatter the peace that he has fought so long to establish.
After initial teething troubles, Optimus Prime has stepped out of the spotlight and into an advisory role, counselling Cheetor and the younger Autobots.  In this capacity, Optimus is a veritable fount of wisdom, with four million years’ worth of battle experience under his belt.  However, his charges sometimes find that his insight is more applicable to times of all-out warfare rather than the relative peace of Cybertropolis.
When called upon to battle, Optimus Prime is a force to be reckoned with.  Upgrades during the Great War have maxed out his abilities, giving him above average strength, speed, and firepower.  His Transcendence allows him to manifest hard light energy weapons, including his signature axe.
Transcendence
The Battle for the Sparks was the Maximals’ darkest hour.  Optimus Primal and his team had managed to seize control of the Grand Mal, the Vehicon Megatron’s stronghold, and with it the lost sparks of every civilian on Cybertron.  But they were outnumbered and outgunned, besieged by the Vehicons from all angles.  Primal retreated to the sparks’ chamber, where the spiritualist beseeched the Oracle – the supercomputer at the heart of Cybertron – to grant him the wisdom and strength needed to defeat Megatron and bring balance to Cybertron.  Speaking as one, the captive sparks granted the Maximals phenomenally boosted power and speed.  For a time, this allowed them to have the upper hand over their Vehicon enemies, but their newfound abilities faded when Megatron cut their connection to the Oracle.
However, part of the Oracle’s power still lingers within Cheetor’s team, beginning to manifest in ways they cannot control.  Optimus Prime recognises the effects; the ancient hero was similarly touched by the Oracle during the final phase of the Autobots’ war with the Decepticons.  Under Optimus Prime’s tutelage, each of the former Maximals can begin to harness that power and channel it into a unique special ability.
I wanted to bring some of Beast Machines’ sense of graphic design to the page layouts in this zine.  The font used for the headers is Neuropolitical, a wide font that screams 90s graphic design.  Rounded rectangles are used in this section, as they are on Beast Machines’s cardbacks.  The dotted and dashed lines in later pages are also from BM toy packages.
We start with a potted history of Cheetor.  Following Beast Machines’ finale, which feels like a definitive ending, the question is, what happens next?  The answer is: Cheetor gets anxiety.  It’s easy to write a story where the hero wins and becomes the king of the land, but to me there’s always the lingering doubt that swashbuckling heroism is transferable experience to governing.  Cheetor’s impostor syndrome is deliberately evocative of the G1 cartoon’s version of Rodimus Prime, including an episode where he gets to be young and reckless again.
There isn’t much of a close-up look at Cheetor’s head in extant Transtech concepts.  Notoriously, pictures of his toy prototype lack his finished robot mode.  As I’d intended to digibash said toy back into existence, I had to pick a pre-existing head to model his appearance on, so I chose his relatively obscure Titanium Series toy.  It’s not made clear in the credits, but I drew all the character profile art.
With Cheetor in the main hero role, Optimus Prime has to become a mentor.  This is patterned after the Robots in Disguise 2015 cartoon, where Optimus returns to life and finds himself at odds with Bumblebee’s leadership.
“Barring accidents” is a Doctor Who quote, for some reason.
At once stage I was committed to referring to the character as “Optimus Prime”, never “Optimus” nor “Prime” alone.  I’m glad I dropped that.
Look at me, retconning both Cheetor’s prophetic dreams and Optimus’ energo-axe into manifestations of the same ability.  It’s like poetry, it rhymes.
When my brother proofread an earlier draft of this zine, he fed back that Transcendence was quickly glossed over in the overview without ever being clearly explained what it was and who could use it.  I added this additional section in here; while not strictly a character bio, it does allow me a consistent three profiles per page.
EDIT: Just over a year later, the fan-run unofficial continuation of Ask Vector Prime here on tumblr would retcon Transcendence as a variant of Masterforce’s Chōkon Power, giving it the name Kijūchōkon, roughly meaning “Machine Beast Super Soul Power”.  Transtech is shonen now

2 - Chromia (G1)
Tumblr media
·         Segunda al mando del Escuadrón Alpha
·         Autobot
·         Especialidad: Combate

Ø  Marvel Comics Continuity: Marvel UK future timelines y Regeneration One
Ø  Sticker Adventure Books
Ø  Big Looker Storybook Continuity

Engilsh Version
• Autobot and member of Alpha Squadron • Excellent warrior • Cybertron • Expert in close combat and excellent shot (shoot weapons) Arcee can easily be mistaken for gender at the beginning, but as time passes you realize that it is a fembot.
It is a great war against melee fighting as it is the best shot at the time, regardless of the place or location your shots hit without problems, it is very fierce in combat and has no mercy, this is due and occurs as it he likes to protect his fellow Autobots as well as humanity from the threat of the Decepticon. He gets along well with all his Autobot comrades, as at the same time he worries too much about them, but this can also be his greatest weakness, because if he loses someone, he will lose everything.
His appearance is both in cartoons and comics, these are:
Ø Transformers: Generation 1 (cartoon) Ø Marvel Comics Continuity: Marvel UK future timelines and Regeneration One Ø Sticker Adventure Books Ø Big Looker Storybook Continuity Ø Coloring Books Ø Beast Wars Cartoon Continuity Ø Dreamwave Generation One Continuity Ø G.I Joe Vs The Transformers Ø IDW Generation 1 Continuity Ø Robot Heroes Ø Unit: E Comics Ø Transformers Vs G.I Joe Ø Angry Birds Comics, etc.

Tumblr media

·         Guardaespaldas/Tanque
·         Caza recompensas
