If there was something that ALBEDO would agree on, it would definitely be that. It was quite obvious with how he simply stared at the latter, his face unreadable from his... Admission.

"Indeed, that is something we can agree on," he said, grabbing his clipboard as he examined the latter with a critical eye. "However, there are other things that stands you apart than just an 'angry person'."

If the alchemist was correct, he is known in the Akademiya to be the most blunt man? to exist, being the type to not mince words and spare people with honeyed words. Most would take offense to such a thing, which can lead to them avoiding him (or admire him under false pretenses of 'fixing' him, which he finds equally strange), but he... He thinks differently.

(After all, ALBEDO knows there is something deeper than what the enigmatic puppet is keeping. Call it whatever you deem fit, he's never wrong in his assumptions. Mostly.)

"... But that's besides the point," he concluded, his eyes drifting to the canvas he set up. He was painting something when he approached him, after all; thankfully, the crystalflies that were converging around the remains of the lost artifact remained in place. "You're not here to say that, no?"

He's here for something else, but he didn't knew what. And he plans to see what it is.

( 🌙 )   IT'D BEEN A long two weeks. the lack of sleep she'd committed to in keeping an eye on @amemoire and Dottore as he worked on hiroshi after the run in and warning that had come down to teyvat. paranoia was high for her the longer she went without getting a proper night's rest .. insisting that she'd been up for longer than this and survived without adverse effects.

IT'D STAYED LIKE that until tartaglia briefly stuck his head in and promised to keep watch so she could take a little nap .. her anxiety and fear keeping her body and core from healing her properly ; still looking worse for wear. her elven - like ears twitch as the star catches a shift in the air , one set of three eyes opening at first then the other set following suit as she sits up ( quicker than intended , leading to her shoulder that'd just been set to twinge in pain ) to get closer.

 ❝ H .. HIROSHI --- ?   ❞   stars please remember who she is. she'd watched to make sure that the obvious things hadn't been tampered with but .. this stuff was way out of her league , if dottore had done something with his memory she'd have had no idea.

Lumine couldn't believe how flustered Lyney was getting after a few simple teases. He was very cute stumbling over his words like he was. It showed a softer side of the young man. She'd have to do something for him as an apology for teasing him so much in one go.

She listened to him as he spoke, the pride in his voice and face eclipsing the previous blush and embarrassment. There was so much affection in his voice for his siblings that she wondered if he boxed it away until someone asked about them. Or when they were all together, outside of their missions.

She knew Freminet preferred diving in the ocean to most people. Lynette was far more sleepy cat-like than her twin. And Lyney was far more mischievous. "I understand. My older twin brother would try to do the same with me..." she explained, drifting off into a far away memory for a moment.

"I'm glad you're both on break." she said softly. "However, I'm more than happy to help you finish up whatever errands you have. Because that means I get to spend more time with my favorite Magician." She beamed at him, smiling.

ㅤㅤHe stumbled over his words then— trying to grasp at any quick retort. Something like he didn't mean it that way or even playing along with the matter. But he was drawing a blank again in his embarrassment. Silently, the magician admitted defeat and shyly turned his gaze elsewhere. Needless to say, he was thankful when she brought up his siblings. A topic the proud brother could easily speak at length on. " Lynette and I have been teaching Freminet a few tricks ! He's still got a long ways to go, but I'm sure he'll make a great assistant in due time. "

ㅤㅤThere was a noticeable shift in Lyney's energy when he spoke about his family. It was a veritable display of warmth, pride, and boundless affection. Sincerely, there was no other whom he spoke about in quite the same manner. " To be honest, it's fine if he never joins the shows. After all, we're not trying to make him like us. We just thought it'd help him get out there a little. Lynette on the other hand... " He trailed off in thought, shifting the flowers from one arm to the other.

FAN BASE FRIDAY! 🙌🏾👩🏾‍🎓🗣🙆🏾🏃🏾‍♀️🌿🏈🏆🛣 So, of course I'm a Hawk Fan by Default... because I'm from Seattle DUH?! 💁🏾 However, Oregon holds a special place in my heart 💕. Not only because I went to school there (not U of O but Portland State) but I developed some wonderful relationships and connections with people who not only inspired me but also helped to save my life. 🤝🙏🏽 You never know what God has in store when He's leading you in the direction of the "Unknown". I didn't get into ANY other college but Portland State (and I'd like to think that I'm a pretty smart girl 👩🏾‍🔬) You wouldn't believe that the HBCU's didn't even take me 🤷🏾‍♀️lol. That's neither here nor there. I just KNEW God wanted me in Oregon. I went through many trials/tests, I got my "butt spanked", was 'ratchet' and living the Double Christian life while tryna not feel controlled by anyone or even God. But oh, did God "arrest me". There's so much to tell about this Oregon story and there will be a book memoir to follow. My hopes is that it will be an encouragement to college students, youth and even adults taking the 'road less traveled' when you're trying to lead your life. Also, how to avoid being in the 'wilderness' for 6 years 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️. My goodness have I been through a lot and put myself through unnecessary heartache and pain over the years. But God has been SO faithful to me. The process has been so worth it all this time and I'm happy to be able to share my 'testimony' with the world 🌎. ( 🌙 )   THE TRAVELER TROTTED along the pathways of the court of fontaine , the current shape she took being that of a creme and white tipped feline ; having done so for a reason that only few were aware of. tracking down the culprit responsible for sending two of lyney's siblings to the hearth's medical bay wherein they were less than perfect shape ; catching onto pieces of the information hadn't been easy but .. having various friends in high places ( ie. the steambird ) nets you some information here 'n there.

LUMINE AVOIDED FOOT traffic , jumping up onto a few boxes then higher up to find herself on the bridgeway where hotel bouffes d'ete was situated. licking her paw and with a tail flick she waited for a short time 'fore the man of the hour appeared out the door.

INITIALLY MEOWING AT lyney to gain his attention she jumps down from where she situated herself , getting in his path so he has to focus on her and only her.    ❝ JUST THE MAN i was looking for ,  ❞   she speaks , stretching from her spot as her golden eyes rested on the magician with a sharpness within them.

REALLY WASN'T on her side lately. dull golden hues open as the star sluggishly begins to move her arms , the act itself feeling like she was carrying thrice her natural weight. she'd have barely noticed the ropes if she hadn't been partly conscious when the fatuus that'd surprised her tied her up in the first place. a rasped sound escaped her as she weakly struggled to get out of the binds that kept her bound ; managing after way longer than she'd have liked to.

WHERE @amemoire WAS at this point she hadn't a clue .. she really hoped that he was nearby .. that hopefully the commotion had made enough noise .. or that the fatuus that had done this had been loud enough in their supposed victory that he took note. hissing out a gargled sound the star brought her hand up once free to fumble trying to cease the bleeding from the slice at her throat , dizziness beginning to set in as the ground below her turned gold as her blood coated the grass.

FREE HAND GRABBED at the ground , tugging herself along with effort despite the exhaustion closing in faster in her attempts to get somewhere -- anywhere -- closer to somewhere more visible. ugh .. she won't hear the end of this from him if he finds her in time. hopefully ---

FLINCHING WHILE DOTS begin to pepper her gaze a wet and choked sound left her as the butt of a fatui skirmisher's gun forced her back on her back ( no -- ! shit .. she can't even .. ). whatever they were saying between themself and their companions was lost to her as consciousness begun to fade away again : every sound like she was leagues underwater .. go on. just shoot her and get it over with.

ㅤㅤHe catches the meaning underlying her words at once, but holds the smile still. It would have been more obvious if he let it break character. " With a hand over over his heart and a pout now adorning his lips, he poses ever the dramatic Lyney. If not for the hat resting upon his head, she would have even caught a glimpse of sad, droopy ears. What a shame. Perhaps next time.

ㅤㅤAs they continue this little dance, he does slowly come 'round to speaking a little more seriously. The playfulness never goes away, but his gestures and chosen words lose their intensity.

BRUSHING HER THUMB under her nose she smirks as she manifests a beast of a weapon , a golden axe of a make that the puppet has never seen before , the neck of the weapon sat on her shoulder as her hand rested on her hip. she looked .. different with the weapon , held herself differently too --- older and wiser ( a little dangerous ). she cants her head to her side she hums , watching and waiting to see what he'd say next.

SHE'S ENJOYING THE concept of this -- perhaps a little too much if her expression was anything to go by. cutting loose wasn't something she could do often.  ❝ I'M SURE YOU want another shot at kicking my ass like you did all those times so .. get out your catalyst or whatever you use nowadays and do your worst.   ❞  

ㅤㅤThe mere mention of the Dendro Archon caused his eyes to narrow a hint more. Were it not for that tiny god, he'd have NOTHING to do with the girl and been free to roam wherever he pleased. A freedom that— for all intents and purposes— was still afforded to him. But one that had to be put on pause when the lesser lord needed his assistance. ㅤㅤHe followed along, content to let her handle everything. ( Not like she wasn't more than capable. ) Blue eyes looked out at their surroundings with a bored dimness to them.
