when i was a kid we had two tvs: the family room tv and the tv in mom & dads room. my dad was (still is) a night owl who would commandeer the family room tv in the evenings (id watch star trek with him sometimes but then x-files would come on & the theme song was too scary so id scamper outta there) & my mom went to bed early. us kids didnt have the privilege of having tvs in our rooms like the cool kids, so this meant i never EVER had access to late night television. like sometimes my dad went to bed early so i could risk major consequences & sneak downstairs & watch o canada or nick at night, but that was very rare (i was not a bold kid)

my only REAL access to late night tv was during sleepovers at other kids houses. but none of my friends were into cartoons. this was pre adult swim, but i had heard rumors about a show called space ghost coast to coast, and i was desperately curious. i would beg my friends to stay up & watch space ghost with me but they would tell me cartoons are for little kids & we should watch adam sandler movies instead. i could never get anyone to understand how wrong they were (1. we are little kids, 2. space ghost is not for little kids, 3. adam sandler movies are basic)

so what i would do is i would wait for my friends to fall asleep & then i would turn on cartoon network & watch space ghost/dr katz/celebrity deathmatch/home movies/etc by myself.

they all went on to own cars and houses and get married & have kids & careers while i rent a room in a house & watch cartoons & eat cereal & draw pictures except now i drink a lot of alcohol while i do it

so i guess what im saying is space ghost majorly stunted my emotional growth

if i'm not character assassinating then i DO think adam would care about the environment but he'd disagree with everyone else's methods. remember when he described henry like "he's a lot. i don't have time for all that"

blue and henry and gansey are chaining themselves to trees and kicking up a big fuss on social media and getting #SaveTheTrees #KillAllLoggers trending & adam's tagging along like guys this is so embarrassing and cringe. can you be less loud about everything. you're making a scene. i'll brb tho. the tree just asked me to divert a small stream to reach its roots better and its psychic signature feels like a cat rubbing around my legs so like. obviously i have to do it.
