Thinking about the tree in Aeor. The one from the Golden Scythe.
The arboreal calyx was a REAL TREE with roots in Avalir's soil.
This tree shared that soil once upon a time. IRL trees and plants do communicate with each other via root networks.
I think this young tree who has seen more than any young tree should carries the weight of Evandran's disappearance, the memory of every sin Avalir committed before it was taken away.
And it is fitting this tree stands guard in front of a machine that acts like a wall against the Divine.

jumping in to ask: what’s your favorite plant???
Ooh, this is such a difficult question!
After much thought, my favourite plant has got to be oak trees because they are easy to climb and get so funny-looking when they're old - and they get SO OLD. I've visited a few cool dudes around England and it's always a pleasure.
These two are the Oaks of Avalon, Gog and Magog in Glastonbury. They're now fenced off because someone accidentally set fire to Gog with a candle a few years back. But Magog is still going.
This is Old Knobbley in Mistley. It's really, really wide and strong. We've been able to fit 4 adults and several kids in the branches for a picnic.
This is Majesty in Nonington. This one is unusual because it's still completely alive and has a full crown, rather than the others on this list which have been split by lightning or age.
TLDR: Me when I see big tree:

I feel like if tree density in urban areas can have a significant influence on peoples mental (and likely physical) health (which there are several studies suggesting this)
Then I feel like maybe there should be some kind of regulations putting like a minimum amount of trees per X amount of area in a city
And it also is important for the pedestrians, trees create shade which is very important, especially in densely populated areas, where it is very common for many people to travel on foot or by like bike
