i wish i knew what ancient civilizations brain farts were like. you know some Roman mom had a baby on one hip and an amphora of wine on the other and she left the baby in the wine cellar by accident. or some guy in ancient africa was carrying a jug of water on his head and forgot about it because his friend went “oh fuck don’t step on that snake!!” (lying) and he looked down and the jug fell and shattered and his friend howled laughing about it for like 20 minutes. some servant girl in a medieval court accidentally said “shit” in front of her employer’s toddler and the toddler yells SHIT real loud and she’s like OH NO. a priest of Ra accepts a gift of money and a sacrifice of barley and accidentally throws the money into the sacrificial fire instead of the barley bc it’s been a long day and he just sighs real heavy. a sumerian dad tries to ask for 2 shekels worth of beer and says “soo brekels trekels” instead and gets so embarrassed he just leaves the tavern.

Mini hammerhead piece because people kept bothering me for them. This one's on a raw Trekell round panel. I should have gessoed it. I did not. So it's still got a rough wood texture, kinda neat effect.

One of my favorite watercolor and wood pieces I've done. The lines and background are wood burned. It was kind of weird after finishing this one and it being sol; we adopted a grey cat a little bit darker than the painting! She was meant to be!

Anyway could not ignore smiling punk coincidentally standing outside a cage for his return to WWE. Trekell has their seasonal terrarium panels available and i am dead set on gold leafing the outside frame. Pretty on the nose, but isn't that a big part of wrestling??

The only thing now is do i give it a gaudy little label?? "best in the world ™️ (with active wwe years)" "survivor series 2023" "fall out/fall in" "remember you're here then now forever"
