My desire for long hair vs it doesn't sit flat

#i dont even have curly or frizzy hair so why doesnt it sit flat?#i think its that i have a slight wave and its kinda thick so it just kinda sticks out like a triangle around my head 🔺️#and i cant b asked to straighten it and its too long for pig tails and too short for nice braids so i just wear it down and i wear #headphones all day while settled in a nest of wild hair and im sure it looks a bit terrible #but i want it long enough for Dorothy braids again #unrelated

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol

#sculpture #ooops.. i could have posted this on the art blog but I forgor and do not feel like reuploading everything #into a new drafted post on a whole other blog.. not in this heat.. i have no patience lol #items are: tomato. asparagus. a four leaf clover (not food lol). some sort of folded bun or dumpling with meat inside (not based on #anything specific. I just wanted to fold a flat sheet of clay into a shape). pomegranate. cheese wheel. lemon slice. some sort of mushroom.#fish (not a real one. just made up. if it looks like any specific fish that'd be interesting). and fig.#I haven't been able to get many avocaodo pits to carve again. so sculpting. then is good for a tiny craft #WISH I COULD DO COSTUMES OR SOMETHING.. i have some pikced out. bundles of clothes laying on the floor of the closet #but GODS even before the heat wave it's just been so warm.. I know.. it's the summer. of course it's warm #but WHYYYyy............. what if it just snowed all year around and was awesome and beautiful and i was so cold and could wear 25 blankets #at all times.. what about THAT hmm?? .. the ideal..#anyway.. my favorite is the pomegranate and the mushroom maybe #The fig is hard because in the pictures of figs I googled a lot of them have that sort of white powdery type of thing on the outside #that grapes and plums and stuff have sometimes and it's hard to convey that weird like.. sheen.. plus the purple with almost powdery blue #and little lighter specks plus streaks of light green and a little orangey on some of them.#It's okay in person I think but this doesnt show up as much in pictures. The cheese also looks betterin person than images. you can't tell #the slight shine in the pictures lol. but the pomegranates look cool and also photograph decent.. hmm #I should have made toast with an egg on it or something. that would be a nice addition #OH ALSO ASPARAGUS MY BELOVED.. though they look a little wonky. the cuticle pusher tool that I sculpt with in leiu of any actual sculpting #tools has a kind of triangle edge that was suite for the little leaf details of the asparagus so that was cool. its like..ALMOST right lol

I think Bram and Lovecraft should find a (probably haunted) ship that just drifts out in an anomalous and liminal, to put it frankly, odd, bit of sea, forever a drift, surrounded by nothing but fog, no wind, no rain, no waves, no storms, just quiet. I think they should hole up there and sleep for a couple hundred years. yeah. I think that would be nice.

as pleased as i am that we're getting a new support hero, i can't help but be disappointed that she looks like d.va's and tracers's models just got mashed together (i literally thought it was just a new skin for either of them for a sec). i kinda want to know what the lore behind her is, but... at the same time i lost interest in new characters lore after bap :( let us know if she's at least fun to play when you get a chance to test her out!

i havent been interested in OW lore since like. idk maybe ramattra: at this point i am just here to see if the chara plays nice and if they look nice while liking the old ones LOL juno looks real fun to play with the space theme, so i'm optimistic she'll be a joy :^)

regarding juno about her appearance, i don't think she looks too much like a mash up of dva/tracer like some of the gal heroes usually do (kiriko genuinely does just make me think of tracer sometimes, for instance)..

...but i do like her 'preview' model before. at the very least, her eyes made her stand out with how sharp the lashes were coupled with her smaller face

in the model we have now, they like. nerfed her lashes LOL??? i could be coping but her old eyes looked more 'rectangular' than the rounded shape we have now also. if they kept the eyes from before, i think that would've helped make her stand out, at the very least the lashes. they have a particular style to them that just isn't translated into the in-game model now

#ask #juno #i dont know anything of juno lore wise. if they even dropped anything Lore Wise #but i feel like she should be a 'colder' character in language? like the in-game shots give her more life than before #idk i just reaaaally like the energy of the preview- maybe im seeing nothing though LOL it just /feels/ different #maybe it's because she doesn't have a helmet ...#oh my god no they removed like. whatever those side panels are on her cheeks NOOOO #like they cleaned up her face she doesnt have the chin cap either... put it back #SEE THT'S WHAT WOULDVE HELPED she has this 'diamond' compact face shape #but the accessories on her face narrow it out into a triangle #he face language is just. different. like the previews are only images so idk how she'd look moving #but it feels like her expressions should be more stiff ... though i dont know how congruent that is with her lore/personality #like there's a slight wave with the in-game expressions in regards to her eyebrows #idk im waffling. ow team give her her eyes and face accessories back #its funny cause looking at her concept art her eyes threre are closer to the in-game model #Awful why am i cursed witht his knowledge. she looked better in the preview #is it that different Probably Not but it's different enough to me #i just hope she has good skins <- probably wont even get them if theyre not free or if i dont hoard gold #REGARDLESS. will absolutely report how she plays once i get the chance :)
